We went to a friend’s wedding at Bolingbrook Golf Club and it was such a great experience. The place is beautiful—super clean, well-kept, and the view of the golf course made the whole event feel really special. Food was actually really good (which isn’t always the case at big events), and drinks were flowing without crazy lines at the bar. Overall, it was a great venue for a wedding. Everything felt smooth, relaxed, and memorable. Would definitely recommend it if you’re planning something special.

I was here painting live for a wedding. It’s has a warm and inviting vibe. The food was good. One of amazing parts of the evening was the sunset followed by the fireworks on the golf course. This is a great place to have a wedding!

We loved having our wedding at Bolingbrook Golf Club and can’t recommend it enough! Jill was amazing and a big reason we chose this venue—she was always there to help with any questions or concerns. Everyone at Bolingbrook Golf Club went above and beyond to make everything perfect and stress-free. The whole team was so accommodating and professional. The venue itself is beautiful, and we got so many compliments on how stunning everything looked and how good the food was. We’d pick Bolingbrook Golf Club all over again in a heartbeat.

So the golf course is excellent. Tough, but for the most part very fair. My issue is that for what I paid ($150), I feel like it was highly over-priced. We were restricted to cart path only for the entire round. Now, we had to wait out a rain storm, and when we finally got out I could understand it. But the course dried up after 6 or 7 holes, and driving the cart to our shots would not have been an issue. But the GPS geofence remained on our cart for the whole round. Pretty sure the upcoming LIV Golf event here played a big part, but I payed the cart fee & basically had to walk the course. This is a $100 course to be sure, but I feel like I lost a $50 bill on this one.

An absolutely beautiful course and amenities. This was my first time and had earned a complimentary round for volunteering at the recent LIV TOUR event. From check in, starter, concessions and playing, it was a nice experience. I did enjoy the course and found it to be extremely challenging as the result of 21 MPH wind gusts. Apparently these are not unusual conditions. Course conditions were wonderful with wonderful staff. All in all, I enjoyed it.

Google
I was looking forward to playing Bolingbrook but chose a day with 21-mile an hour winds gusting to 35. This made the course virtually unplayable. We learned that wind usually impacts play because of the open field design (no trees or other natural windbreaks). A ranger told our group “that’s why they call the course’Blowingbrook.’” The course was designed by famed architects Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest, known for their massive rolling hill, links designs (Half Moon Bay, Bighorn, Stonewall Orchard, Chicago Highlands, Stonybrook and many more). So I was excited to play. Unfortunately the great course design is muted by a lack of geological diversity that elevates all the other Hill designed courses. Most of the holes at Bolingbrook look the same, with the exception of the par 3’s, which are fun. Wide fairways make it very playable for any level of golfer. We met a local legend on the course, “Coach” Phil Acton who had 20 winning football seasons in Bolingbrook and is celebrated in the IL football Hall of Fame (see him displaying his championship rings in the photos). Everyone is very nice and the server at the turn made us excellent sandwiches (see my gastronomically delightful chicken salad sandwich). Some of the bunkers were “under-sanded” which was disappointing and the course lacks the grass-over edge bunker style and fescue you’d expect to see on a true links course. That said, it’s a fair challenge playing 7,100 from the tips and a 74.3 ratings and 143 slope. We thought the greens could’ve been a lot faster but it was the strong wind that beat us up throughout the day. So be aware of your forecast and if the wind is 15-miles an hour I would pick another course. You may also be interested in knowing that a Moms for Liberty event to promote “detransitioning” is being held at the club, and a group of residents recently complained about the hateful beliefs and speech that dehumanizes LGBTQ+ people. I think this club has a choice and depending on your beliefs you have a choice too. The course is hosting a LIV Golf Event September 13-15 which will be fun, especially how the pros handle the wind, so check it out. Overall I believe the $97 greens fees represent a poor value for the experience, especially with so many other great courses to choose from.

Google
Course always in great condition and greens still rolling fast even after being aerated earlier in the month. Great customer service welcoming you with a smile. Definitely planning on a few more rounds here this year given the fact that Green fees have risen across the board. The price here including the ambience is well worth it given the entire experience!!

Google
Bolingbrook Golf Club is seriously a great place to play. The course is super well kept, challenging without being frustrating, and really fun with a mix of long holes and some awesome water features — especially that island green on 15, which is just a blast. Every hole feels a little different, and the views with all the lakes and rolling hills are awesome. They also have a huge practice area, including a big putting green, a lit-up driving range for evening practice, and even a couple practice holes you can mess around on, which is super cool. The clubhouse is massive and really nice — great spot to grab a drink or some food after your round. Plus, the staff is super friendly and welcoming, which just makes the whole experience even better. Definitely one of the best public courses around the Chicago suburbs. Whether you’re playing a casual round, practicing, or even planning an event, Bolingbrook Golf Club is a solid choice.

Yelp
We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding reception! Living out of state, we were initially nervous about planning from a distance, but the team at Bolingbrook Golf Club made the entire process seamless. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make our vision a reality. They provided fantastic vendor recommendations that helped make the day run flawlessly, and their communication and organization gave us so much peace of mind throughout the planning process. On the day itself, everything was perfect--beautiful, smooth, and truly more than we could have hoped for. Our guests are still raving about the experience--how incredible the food was, how attentive and kind the staff were, and how much fun they had celebrating with us. It meant the world to us to be able to relax and enjoy every moment knowing we were in such capable hands. Thank you for making our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more! Special Shout Out to Javy, Kim, Jill, Homor and all of the Banquet team!

Yelp
Went for Easter brunch. Service was terrible. The food was so-so. When asked if I wanted anything and said another mimosa she never came back. She came back after a while and asked if I needed anything else but never brought the mimosa I asked for the first time. So for $70 I'd go elsewhere for your Easter.

Yelp
just now Have been here a lot of times before for weddings, birthdays, Christening, debuts. They have very nice ball rooms with a long terrace and a Foyer which you can use for pre-event cocktails. But my favorite, come any day spot is "The Nest," a bar restaurant which gives you an option of indoor or outdoor seating which has a great view of the golf course. Food and drinks at The Nest are reasonably priced, and are actually inexpensive. I love chilling at the nest for business meetings or just enjoy a cup of coffee with clients and friends. Unbeknowst to most people, this place is owned by the Village of Bolingbrook and is open to the public.

Yelp
Fantastic experience all the way through! On our first visit we met with Jill, and she was very friendly and informative, give us all of the information we needed without being pushy. Then, once we booked the venue, we met with Nikilett who was absolutely phenomenal. Very friendly and great attention to detail. Also very easy to communicate with and willing to go out of her way in order to help in any way she could. In fact, I reached out to Nikilett several weeks before the wedding letting her know that I wanted to add onion rings to the late night snack menu but I didn't want my wife to know and I wanted it to be a surprise (making home-made onion rings was one of our first dates). Not only did she gladly agree to keep the secret, she even went as far as to create a separate bill so that might wife didn't see it during their final walk through! This wasn't even my idea! As far as the rest of the venue goes, we couldn't be happier. It started during our tasting, which was a fantastic experience and much more extravagant than we were expecting. They really went out of their way to make sure we were having a great experience. The day before the wedding I headed up to the venue to hit the driving range with my groomsmen. On our way out we checked the set-up and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that they had everything set up and ready to go. We also very much liked that they told us we had up until a couple hours before the ceremony to decide if we wanted move everything inside. This helped ease some of the nerves knowing that we could wait to see what the weather actually was before having to make a decision. And finally, guests had a really nice time out on the balcony. It was a great spot for people to get some fresh air and take a break from the festivities without having to go out and stand in front of the building. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our experience. The venue was just what we were looking for in terms of looks, but what really sets it apart is the team. From start to finish we had an absolutely tremendous experience with Jill, Nikilett, and the entire staff. I think you will be hard pressed to find a better team more willing to go above and beyond to make sure you have a special day. Bolingbrook Golf Club comes highly recommended in my opinion if you want a nice venue and a great staff. Oh, and I almost forgot, the groom's suite was a nice touch and came in handy before, during and after the festivities!

Yelp
Words alone cannot express how amazing Bolingbrook golf club is, thank you to Jill and her staff you are all amazing! The memorial buffet for my dad was truly more than I could've asked for and the meal was outstanding! Thank you to all who made the memory of my dad so much more...

Yelp
I haven't even gotten married here yet and I'm already so happy with our ceremony/reception venue! Recently, my fiancé and I had to make the difficult decision of postponing our wedding. My biggest fear was our venue not being understanding or flexible enough. Today, I got off a 30 minute phone call with Jill - Not only did she ask me how I was doing but she asked what she could do for me!!!! My heart melted. (This whole process has made me very emotional!) Jill and her team have already proven their loyalty from day one, but this was just icing on the cake! They have assured me that the wedding of our dreams will happen whenever we are ready. Money was never a topic in our conversation and neither were rules or restrictions. I am beyond comfortable with all the decisions we have made through out this pandemic and I could not have done it without the constant advise and support from Jill & Nikolette. BCG has done nothing but treat us like family and I will 100% recommend their services everyday for the rest of my life! By the way - their food is over the moon DELICIOUS :)

Yelp
I love this venue!!! Planning my events here for my daughter's christening reception was such a breeze that I had to have my daughter's first birthday here as well! Jill and Kim are so helpful with requests and suggestions and our needs to each party - communication is key! BGC is so clean and definitely presentable. I actually thought of having my daughter's birthday elsewhere just for a change - but no other venue in the area beat BGCs superb service. We had the Taylor room which has its own private balcony. I wish there were a bit more menu options in regards to sides etc. but everything i personally picked was delicious!

Yelp
Friendly staff, the course is in great shape, the clubhouse is beautiful. As long as they stay on top of the pace of play, this is a terrific course.

Yelp
I'm neither the golfing or marrying-type, but if you are and happen to be looking for a venue to do either at, I'd imagine the Bolingbrook Country Club to be well-suited for you. I enjoy being a guest at events that happen here. Sure, you're still in Bolingbrook, but it's surprisingly scenic. Like, whoa. Gorgeous estate, wide open space, and not only is the main hall huge, but it's got two standard sized banquet hall bars tucked into the long wall and a HUGE, wooden bar/island about a quarter of the way in the room. I'd never seen that in a banquet hall before and I thought it was great because it could down on there being drink lines and gave people a place to casually hang without having to share an awkward high-boy table with strangers. The staff at this country club were really on their game from the moment I walked in. The valet guys were super polite and even though I opted not to valet my car they still welcomed me to the venue and got the door for me. As far as banquet staff go, this venue has by far the most attentive. They were on every crumb I dropped from my cookie plate so fast that it felt more like fine dining than a event reception. I can't say much about the club's food as I stuck to one of the guest caterer's desserts, but the selection they put out didn't look like the greatest spread... then again, maybe it was the event organizer who requested the strange hodgepodge. There's a fun piano bar in the lower area of this club that had this fun dueling piano (technically keyboards) group on a friday night and the place was packed. If you're in the area and looking for a country club with class, this is the place for you.

Yelp
The Bolingbrook Golf Club is located about 40 miles southwest of Chicago and is open to the public. While I only had a chance to experience the banquet facilities, there is an Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest designed golf course there as well as two restaurants. Upon pulling up into the circular drive, our car was whisked away by complimentary valet (much appreciated as it was freezing out!) and we entered the club. The entrance area is set up to look like a large living room- with a two story fireplace, sofas and chairs. Coat check was available and we were directed to the pre function area. I think the pre function could have been nicer had there been less people. The pre function area has a few service bars that open into the main ballroom but the ballroom doors were still closed as they readied the space, so we were jammed into the hallway. Servers were trying to pass hors d'oeuvres but we were elbow to elbow. I think our group was around 350 people so if your group is smaller or if your event is during the Summer months and the doors to the garden could be opened it would be better. The main ballroom was quite lovely when we walked in. Crystal chandeliers, silk wrapped tables, a large dance area, and plenty of service bars. The food had some hits and misses. The stater salad with greens, blue cheese and walnuts was quite tasty. The next course of the butternut squash soup was way too sweet and tasted more like dessert and was a weird transition after the vinegary salad. But the steak was quite good- hard to believe that they could actually get it where it wasn't like shoe leather like most banquet halls. The biggest issue I had was with the servers. Rarely do plates get dropped or glasses spilled when I am at these things- and trust me- I go to MANY banquets. At this place- our server broke a salad plate, dropped a wine glass on the floor shattering it- tipped over my wine glass when reaching to clear something, and practically poured my coffee in my lap. What gives? There was also commotion at the table behind us as well. They also were not coordinated on who was taking care of our table. One server would come by with coffee cups- and then another would show up 10 min later asking the same questions. Made me feel like they might have hired some part time workers to help service our large group. All in all- the Bolingbrook Golf Club was just okay. Plenty of other banquet places around that do a better job in taking care of their guests.

Yelp
Went for a wedding tasting. The food and service were great. Can't wait until the wedding.

Yelp
I must say...from a DJs point of view and a vendor, this has to be one of the top 3 venues I've worked at and witnessed amazing service as well as great food. They take care of the vendors but most important they take care of the client. I had the pleasure of working with Jill and I was left speechless as she catered to the client for a Sweet 16. I can only imagine what she does for a wedding! You definitely have to check this venue out I your looking for a spot for your event!

Yelp
This was the 1st year we have done our Valentine's Date Night somewhere new and I loved this choice of Venue. It was so spacious, beautiful, and delicious food. Was perfect for the space we needed for enough table set up, a DJ and a dance floor. Would love to continue our Annual event here in the years to come. We have been doing this event for about 7-8yrs now.

Yelp
I enjoyed an afternoon of golf at Bolingbrook Golf Club. The twilight rate was $65, but we were not able to finish the course. We were paired up with two men who were extremely friendly and gracious. I am not a great golfer, still a beginner, but they were very accepting of my flaws. We were able to play the signature hole, number 15. My partner made it across the water and on the island green on his first try. I was not as lucky. Overall, the course was not extremely memorable, but in good condition. There were not many trees, it's pretty flat. The service was excellent. My partner forgot his club covers and they were found and held for us to pick up the next day. The carts were well maintained, no problems.

Yelp
Attended the Club's Fairytale Brunch on 02/15 and this was an exceptional event. From the room decorating, the princesses that were in attendance, the photo opportunities, and the catering to the guests; this was a fantastic time. The staff was extremely organized which led to a very fun filled day of activities. Food was great. There was a huge selection of breakfast items and a few lunch items for those smaller pickier eaters. Overall a blast of a time, I hope that the facility will have more events geared toward families and children in the future!

Yelp
My wife and I just hosted our Baby Shower at the Bolingbrook Golf Club! The staff, service, and food creativity absolutely exceeded all expectations. We have attended literally hundreds of personal and corporate functions at the Club and EVERY SINGLE TIME the experience is positively memorable. Kudos to the entire staff and leadership on running such an awesome facility!

Yelp
Great place for weddings. Beautiful views and friendly staff. Sitting here at a wedding as im writing this. A1 venue all the way. I'm not into golf at all so I wouldn't come here to play. But maybe just for a few cocktails and to take in the view. Maybe get blasted and jump in pond

Yelp
This review is for the wedding facilities and food. Mostly just the food. Food: Came here for a wedding within my boo's family. Usually I find wedding dinners absolutely terrible. Thanks to this place, my expectations have risen ever so slightly. We started out with the super scrumptious cream of chicken soup (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/bolingbrook-golf-club-bolingbrook?select=u32eY448Wpgx-HiXKcaQeA#R4-tBZbF1XylPMwxSoEETg). It's not much of a looker, but I enjoyed every spoonful and was left wanting more. Just to demonstrate how classy this meal was, we had a frozen starfruit and raspberry sorbet palate cleanser (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/bolingbrook-golf-club-bolingbrook?select=u32eY448Wpgx-HiXKcaQeA#Ew0xw_6LFnEkf-A9tzH9sg). The taste fell on the bland side, but you have to give them props for the fantastic plating. Next up was the entree. I was wondering why we weren't given a choice of meal, but that question was answered as soon as I got a look at the plate. This beast had both chicken and steak (both were just ok) alongside mashed potatoes and broccoli. Faaaaancy. But it doesn't end there! In addition to the ok wedding cake, we also had a lemon mousse cake covered in a hard, frozen dome of white chocolate (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/bolingbrook-golf-club-bolingbrook?select=u32eY448Wpgx-HiXKcaQeA#ZbtY7eXTvS3aFdn7wM057A). The thick chocolate shell contrasted well with the creamy cake and mousse underneath. I wolfed down the sweet treat in entirety. Atmosphere: I'd probably give this place four stars if not for this. The area they reserve for wedding ceremonies is small and rather generic. It's also adjacent to a highly visible parking lot. Good thing the banquet hall turned out to be way more impressive. They hang diaphanous fabric from the central chandelier and have a nicely framed "stage" where the bride and groom can sit. Service: Rather than remain relegated to the background, the servers came out and paraded around the banquet hall. They also ceremoniously poured champagne into the wedding party's glasses. Classy. Synopsis: I really liked the soup, palate cleanser, and dessert. The entree could use some work, but I enjoyed the steak and chicken combo. I'm giving it three stars even though I found this wedding food to be some of the best I've ever had. I guess that's more of a comment about wedding food in general than about this place...

Yelp
I score this in two different areas, course quality and price. Course Quality: In peak season, it is just atrocious. I had to tiptoe around the divots taken out of the green last season, traps aren't raked, etc. It's sad that they put so much money in to building this place and don't keep it up. If you want to play this trek, play it in early season before it's been beat up. Carts are nice...maybe that's why the price is so high for what you get....... Price: I often pay more than $100 on a round, but I like to spend my money on quality courses, and I return. This course really wants to be competitive with Cantigny, Harborside, Dubs (yes...the D word) and now Mistwood (which is cheaper, tougher and better kept up), but it's turning in to Tamarak. I will not drive out here to pay $110 on Saturday when Harborside at $95 is an option for a more substantial round. It's priced too close to Dubs ($155), and is nowhere near the quality of Dubs (or Harborside for that matter). To be over $100, you must be superb in my opinion. A couple weeks ago, I drove to Silvis to hit Deere Run..and the $85 price tag and the 2+ hour drive was more worth it than Boilingbrook. Easy fix - Bring the rate to around $75 for 18 on the weekends, make the cart optional. Bring twilight for non-residents to around $50, include the cart. Harborside is $57 for twilight....I cannot stress the quality of competition that Boilingbrook seems jaded on. Noses are being turned up, and it shows because every Saturday this course is wide-open when everyone else is booked. Mistwood has reopened, you need to make a push. There are a lot of golfers in Chicago who have a lot of options and Boilingbrook is doing its best to keep everyone else on top of my list, and not doing enough to move themselves to the top.

Yelp
When you have a very large party, like Thanksgiving- make sure you have your strongest carvers at the buffet table! I felt so bad as I watched my in-laws trying to go up and wait in line for their food! The carving station had a couple very nice but very awkward young men that couldn't cut up meat if their lives depended on it! And on Thanksgiving!? Really Bolingbrook, get some better help!! Because my in-laws were in line for 35 minutes!! Very good food, very nice presentation, just clueless help staff!

Yelp
This review is for the banquet hall, not anything else related to the golf club/ grounds, etc. I had the misfortune of attending an industry conference here. My first mistake was requesting a vegetarian meal, i didn't know that makes me a second class citizen. The conference host had polled us ahead of time, so BBGC had a count of the vegetarian meals required. I had to wait 40 mins AFTER everyone else had been served. It wasn't just me, but everyone who had requested a vegetarian meal. The good news is.. i got a meal. The bad news is... well i could cook something better with just a microwave, yuck. One positive is that the banquet hall area has free wifi, this is great. However i'm confident the cooks are just goofing around watching youtube instead of doing their job.

Yelp
A wonderful Holiday Party for Friends if Clow Airport and EAA 461 last night at Bolingbrook Golf Club. Kim K the event planner was fabulous and extremely helpful. She had the room set up with lovely seasonal decor. Our food was excellent. Chicken Provençal with roasted vegetables, wedge salad and carrot cake for dessert. Delicious!

Yelp
Recently I had a christmas party here this past sunday, and i was disappointed with a few things. 1. The chefs we're leaving for the day at 8pm. My party was from 7pm -11 pm. If someone would of told me that the chef's we're leaving at 8pm I would of pre ordered the food. So a few of my guest that came late didn't even get the food that they wanted. 2. When I talk to the sales representative we discuss that my guest would have to go to the open bar if they wanted a drink, but a liquor menu was on the table for my guest so some of them ordered drinks, & a couple of guest became upset because they we're charged a granturty. (The waitress fixed it though) 3. Me & my representative also discuss that my guest would have a house salad, and the soup of the day plus a entree. Most of my guests didn't even receive a soup or salad. 4. One of my guest that was on time for my event receive the wrong order, and they couldn't change the order beause the chef's left at 8pm. 5. A few people complained about not receiving there condiments. Someone asked for some gravy, and butter but they never received it. All in all the event was absolutely beautiful. 70 percent of my guest we're very pleased with the Bolingbrook Golf Course, but 30 percent of my guest we're not pleased, and they recommended that I rent out a hall next time.

Yelp
Taryn did a wonderful job coordinating our (second!) wedding reception. We had a brunch event, and it was wonderful. I received nothing but compliments from our guests as brunch is a super idea and, from what I heard, the food was awesome (I was so nervous I barely ate!)! Now, more than anything, Taryn was very patient with us while we figured out the planning stages - were we actually having the wedding here or in Michigan, when did we want it, so on and so forth. We actually changed the date on her 3 times, and she was totally flexible! The building is gorgeous, and the room was lovely. I hate hate hate banquet halls, and this location was not typical of a normal banquet hall - natural sunlight was a must for me. I also hear the drinks were really good! A tip: if you're a bride, make sure your flowers don't clash against the red and blue carpet.

Yelp
I walked in the other day to see their offerings for room rentals for a bridal shower. I felt bad about not making an appointment. I had just come from another golf club that rents rooms in the area, and I was feeling pretty bad about the customer service at the other place. I was instantly greeted and shown the area. The lead sales person was busy with another customer, but a man who had worked there for 17 years showed us around. He apologized profusely for his tour saying that he doesn't generally do tours. His tour was fantastic. He even said that he had had his own family book there before. They have a wonderful space with multiple rooms. I really like the maze feel for big family events, so people can spread out into their own areas. I don't so much like a big box feel of an auditorium where everyone is in a fish bowl together. They are very family friendly. There are rooms that can be set up for kids. They actually listened to what we needed. At previous places they had seen us and started trying to pull together the cheapest packages they have. I hate when people look at me and decide I will be looking for a cheap package. I was actually looking for all the bells and whistles. The staff at Bolingbrook Golf Club were able to review all different offering and packages with me including a sound system, tv for a slideshow, a sangria bar, and more. They even have a whole bar that comes as part of the rental that you can have set up in another room for the boys if you are having a bridal shower or a baby shower. I also love their monogrammed napkins. They really go above and beyond.

Yelp
Our decision to host my Brother's Celebration of Life Memorial at the Bolingbrook Golf Club was one of the best we could have made. It was a beautiful event for our Family & Friends. The Room was put together perfectly, and the Buffet was more than delicious. All last week, various folks were calling to tell me what a beautiful Memorial we had for my Brother. Of course, the next thing they spoke about was the Food. How very scrumptious and delicious everything tasted, and of course, the presentation was impeccable. We would also like to highly compliment our servers - Fernanda & Telly - they went above and beyond. All of our guests were so well taken care of. When my grand-daughter brought all of her Chocolate Desserts, Telly set up a round table in the corner of the room next to the coffee service. The presentation of her desserts was superb. We would highly recommend The Bolingbrook Golf Club for all Celebrations that someone may be planning. Our Memorial went from tears to joy. We were able to create a heartfelt Memorial & a Beautiful Celebration of my Brother's Life due in a large part to our hosting all of this at The Bolingbrook Golf Club. Kudos!

Yelp
This past week we lost my sister in law at an early age. She worked at the Bolingbrook golf course, so we decided to have her luncheon there after the viewing. We got to the club and the fire department was there and the sprinkler system was going off. There was water flooding the downstairs of the club. We thought this is a disaster that we can't recover from. We had about 60 people heading over to an event that we thought would we would have to cancel. John Brodsky, the director of operations, came up to us and explained our options. They moved the event to a sister club and allowed us to have or luncheon. This was not a simply task, but they all came together and made it happen. I want to thank the team again for pulling this together in a professional manner, and allowed us to have this time with our family to greive.

Yelp
FABULOUS WEDDING EXPERIENCE!!!! Everything about our day was wonderful. Taylor Anians and the entire staff at the BGC were friendly and helpful. The entire process from our first visit, planning, tasting and decorating, to the actual wedding went perfectly. Taylor was pleasant to work with, accommodating and always answered any questions promptly. My guest raved about the food and everyone thought the venue was beautiful. I could not have been more impressed with the way everything turned out!!!!

Yelp
I've been here twice. The first time was a wedding reception and more recently there was a retirement party. Both had a large number of people with cocktails, dinner and dancing. This place is really beautiful with granite countertops in the bathroom (very clean) and a nice balcony to hang out on which overlooks the golf course. It's good that you can access it easily because both times I was FREEZING at the dinner. I'm not talking about being a bit chilly, I'm talking about it being cold enough where you can hang meat! The service was great and the food was typical large party food. Good, but not fabulous, but served quickly and cleaned up quickly. My biggest beef was how they handled the party next door. Apparently they set up the sound system on the shared wall of our room because we could sing along with the music! Not a good thing when people were giving speeches or we were trying to hear our music. I don't know about the golfing here because I've never experienced that. I have visited The Crow's Nest which is their bar and they have $3 draft beer which is nice. There's also some good flat screen tvs which comes in handy when there is a good baseball game on and you are at a boring event!

Yelp
This is my second time playing this course. I played it approximately a year ago. The green fees are a bit steep but there is a significant seniors discount if you play with older family members or clients. The carts had GPS, staff was extremely friendly, course well maintained, and pace just right. The clubhouse is massive and they ran a good beer special at the bar on Miller lite drafts. It is a fun and challenging course that I intend to play a few times every season...its worth the money.

Yelp
Food was terrific. Staff was really understanding and helpful during the virus period. Although venue was cancelled, the golf club still catered to our group at a different location. Thank you!

Yelp
Horrible customer service, during this pandemic our event got canceled, general manager Jill and our event planner Kim was not willing to work with us and not willing to give us our deposit back. Out of our 6 vendors, this was the ONLY vendors who wouldn't work with us or understand that the event got canceled because of what is going on in the world.Very disappointing that they are money hungry and not caring to their customers. Never will have an event her again.

Yelp
Bolingbrook Golf Club is a fantastic course and there is a foursome deal out there for $250 which includes dinner after your round. It's the best golf deal in the Chicago area. The course is maintained perfectly and the food is very good. The staff even keeps the pace of play moving unlike most public courses throughout Chicago. They make sure to leave a 10 minute spread between tee offs and they don't let slow groups mess up the flow. The course itself has undulating fairways and greens as well as strategically placed bunkers but the trees are young and typically don't block shots from the rough. The wind can also be challenging at times. There is an island-like green and plenty of water. It is challenging but rewards good shots so it's a perfect combo in my opinion. There is a nice practice facility as well. Free range balls!

Yelp
If your looking to do any kind of event there. I strongly recommend for you to think twice. Very bad customer service. You have to keep calling them and leaving them messages before they can get back to you. Than when they finally answer they give an attitude. When I called to ask about pricing banquet manager didn't like the fact I was being honest about me shopping atound. So they closed the phone in my face, because they felt I was wasting they're time. So than we I called to speak to the head manager in charge. She didn't even want to hear me out. What happen to customer service and trying to give the customer 100% to make them happy. Unfortunately the billing brook country club is not the place I would want to do my event.

Yelp
Went for an awards lunch today and it's very impressive when you walk in and it goes straight downhill. When walking in the door asked the desk lady where the bathroom was and she didn't bother even looking up. Service was subpar. The servers need training. The chicken was all rubbery and tasted like it had paste on it. The gold rim is half washed off the coffee cups and makes it feel so cheap and second class. The grounds are beautiful. It's pretty in a 1990 funeral home kind of way.

Yelp
We held our reception at BGC in the grand ballroom on 10-10-15, and it was a dream come true. In particular, Taryn (their wedding planner) is an absolute godsend. My mom and I were shopping for venues on a Saturday in January, and we were fairly frustrated after about 8 hours of appointments with no luck. We happened to remember that BGC existed & was located relatively close to our ceremony location, so we decided to drop in and see if we could take a look at the space / speak with someone who was there. We walked in and ....wow. Ladies, this place is spectacular. The rooms are large enough to fit a few hundred people yet still manage to make it feel intimate and romantic. The veranda looks out over the golf course (and the sunset, which was incredible on our wedding day!). The staff is wonderfully attentive and accommodating; the bartenders pour very strong drinks (nobody likes a watered down cocktail amirite?); and the food - oh my gosh the food. It is AMAZING , and it tastes exactly like it does at your tasting, which is uncommon from what I hear from other brides. Let's get serious - guests care about how pretty the room is but they REALLY care about the food, booze, and music. BGC absolutely delivered flawlessly on the food and music (and so did my DJ, but that's a different review :) ) Extra bonus - they let you include linen upgrades, lighting, etc. in your minimum. and free valet for guests. Score! And then there's Taryn, the wedding planner. Honestly, she sealed the deal for my mom and I. She is an absolute DOLL, and we fell in love with her the second we met her that random Saturday. She was always available for whatever million questions we had, offered her honest suggestions on the food / decor etc (and it was FLAWLESS - magical, really), and worked so well with all of our vendors. We also opted to do our first dance on the putting green with fireworks, and she execute those logistics flawlessly!! There isn't enough space to describe just how much she went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect - and it was! We loved her so much we are going to go for drinks with her soon to catch up :) It is so helpful to have a planner like her at your venue - she was invaluable! Needless to say, I can't recommend BGC enough. They made our day absolutely perfect!

Yelp
Beautiful golf club and yummy food. The casual restaurant is called The Nest and the Outdoor seating is nice to have.

Yelp
Was there for a wedding. Drinks and dancing all good. Dinner another story. Steak or Chicken dish. Waiter brang chicken to everyone at table when a few people ask for steak. So he goes and get steaks. Then few minutes later he comes to table and asked if we were done eating. It was like he was in a hurry to leave. What an Asshole.

Yelp
Caution: Wedding mill. If you have guests running late, they will start without them because someone else is waiting to get married after you. Better time management is needed.

Yelp
Always a pleasant experience here. The food is consistent, although a little pricey for a golf club. Staff is very fri madly and accommodating.

Yelp
Amazing wedding venue!!! From beginning to end Taryn was phenomenal. When she responded to my request for pricing right away I knew she was my kind of communicator. Bolingbrook offers an amazing package already but Taryn worked with us on it to make it perfect for us! Her flexibility was really appreciated!! She was very responsive the entire planning process and answered any silly question I would throw at her. The entire staff is great! They greeted my parents at the door on the day of and got them anything they needed. They treated us like royalty and we felt extremely valued. The venue itself is gorgeous and spacious. Bottom line, they really know what they're doing and they have it down to a science. But even though they have tons of weddings there every year they make you feel like you are the only one which is extremely impressive. If you book them you will not be disappointed!!

Yelp
The best decision I made during my wedding planning process was picking Bolingbrook Golf Club. All around the internet I saw people bragging about how awesome the wedding coordinator here is, and let me tell you, they're not lying. Taryn is such a joy to work with and goes out of her way to make sure everything is great. I can't say enough nice things about her (and everyone else on the staff, for that matter). Having a gay wedding, I was a little guarded when looking around at venues because I felt like we would be treated differently. Not so here. Jill, the woman who we booked the wedding with was actually super excited that we'd come in because Bolingbrook Golf Club was attempting to draw in more gay weddings. That was a nice surprise to us after being asked by other places if it was legal for us to get married. The wedding itself was upstairs in the East Room, and it was just perfect. A great size for our small group, everything was set up perfectly, and it really wasn't that expensive. We got a great value for what we paid. After the wedding, we're still hearing from friends and family how much they loved the venue and how it was one of the best weddings they'd ever been to. Trust me, book your wedding here. You will be so glad you did. I can't rate their golf, but I did have fun driving around on a golf cart to get pictures ahead of time. They even saved us two golf carts to go around and get pictures in case we wanted to. Really, they thought of everything.

Yelp
I've been here for the 4th of July parties, the bar and karaoke but I had to update: they put on a fantastic buffet and party for our corporate holiday shindig. Everything was awesome!

Yelp
The $129 deal for two with lunch/dinner &. 2 drinks was ok. Course is links style. Food was great.....problem is 5 hour round. We played on a Saturday and you can expect a longer than usual round. We played the front nine in two hours the back nine took three. Unreasonable!! The course was understaffed with Rangers so nobody was moving play along. The second group in front of us had two holes open in front of them by the time we got to 16. Long story short, there are too many GOOD courses around here that are better managed; to pay that kind of money for such a miserable experience.

Yelp
I originally visited the Golf Club back in late December to look at this place for my November 2011 wedding. I fell in love with the charm, class and elegance of the Golf Club as well as Sales Mgr, Christy and Catering Mgr, Taryn. Christy was very helpful in providing information to help me solidify the size and scope of our wedding size prior to signing our contract. We were planning a large wedding around 300 and they were easily able to accommodate. Fast forward a few month, I have been working with Taryn, the Event Coordinator for the past 9 month. She is truly amazing! I would think that once we signed our contract they would want us to do everything and think of all and every detail....This is not the case. Taryn truly the most organized, patient, and positive young professional women! She helps with any and all questions you will have up to your big day. She has help set up and organize literally everything!!! I honestly think Bolingbrook should start marketing her solely. I am excited to see the final results from Taryn and her team!

Yelp
This is a review only for the golf course. Mind you the course and everything else is great! However, they have a really good deal through Groupon and Travelzoo and our group of guys bought several last year and this year. THE KICKER: they changed it where you can only book 3 days out of you have a voucher and you have to call the pro shop to book - you can't book online! So, I have a voucher that expires next week and might not get to use it because nothing is available! Never again!
