"Three competing cholas ($11) are offered at the Bolivian Llama Party near downtown Brooklyn at Gotham Market at the Ashland, a food court. There’s a version that includes three types of pork (shoulder, belly, and bacon), and another that presents similar flavors and textures with vegetarian caramelized jackfruit. But the one I like best features roasted brisket rubbed with spices that include locoto, a tiny pepper native to Bolivia. The beef turns out crusty, rich, and peppery, and the shredded escabeche carrots add a sweet and sour highlight to the sandwich. Aioli, crumbly cheese, and purple onions round out the flavor profile. Despite its relatively compact size, the brisket chola makes a satisfying meal." - Robert Sietsema

Nice spot in the Gotham Market. Food was satisfying. Atmosphere is relaxed. Good amount of seating, TV’s, and music in the background. I wouldn’t go out of my way to get here, but if you’re passing by, worth stopping in

Really great finger food here, from the sliders to the sandwiches to the saltenas. Fries were good too! You can't go wrong here.

Really liked the food here. The fries are really tasty. The food stall is located at Gotham Market, which is a great place to grab a quick bite.

Delicious Bolivian cuisine. The saltenas are so delicious, the loaded papitas are even better!

Incredibly tasty. The truffle fries were so crispy and amazing. The beef brisket bowl was also surprisingly good and packed with veggies. It was well worth the wait, but don’t come here if you are in a hurry since the kitchen gets backed up.

I had the grain bowl with chicken, and it was very delicious. It's a bit spicy but to a good level. The bowl seems too filled with leaves at first but the balance is great. They have a realistic display of some of their foods, so that helps a lot. The Acerola juice is also very good, not too sweet.

I had the pulled pork sandwich with the fries which were excessively seasoned and salted. Sandwich was ok, all of it a bit overpriced for what it was. I'll try the salteñas next time.

Best dang bowl of seasoned crispy fries, brisket and cheese sauce i may ever eat. Yeah, i'd recommend it.
