"This is the second restaurant of the tasteful BollAnts Spa im Park hotel. Like the first, it has a fine vaulted ceiling and an exceptionally beautiful interior done out in an attractive vintage look. The terrace in the courtyard is also inviting. Mediterranean cuisine with regional influences is served in two set menus that change daily and with courses that can be mixed and matched." - Michelin Inspector

Jungborn

"Quality is the watchword in the imposing BollAnts hotel complex, and the Jungborn certainly doesn't let the side down: it boasts an elegant interior with its wonderful sandstone barrel vaulted ceiling, and promises cordial service and excellent cuisine by Philipp Helzle. His cooking style is aptly described as "modern classic". This is pleasingly pared-back cuisine that builds on French foundations and draws on the occasional international influence. The quality of the ingredients is excellent. Staff will gladly recommend wines from the region to accompany the two set menus. Incidentally, the name "Jungborn" refers to BollAnts's original incarnation as Felke-Jungborn Kurhaus Dhonau and is a nod to the hotel's healthy-living ethos." - Michelin Inspector

First of all: you may decide if it's my fault for booking trough a discount site. They put us in a side building, not in one of the main ones, because this would probably be too expensive. Later we found out that besides the following cons, we should be happy. We could've and (according to the discount site) should've been put in the "landhaus" which seems to be a fancy word for a building that looks like student housing on a budget from the outside. The following applies to the side building on the main terrain we stayed at. It might seem like I'm nitpicking at every little thing, but that's not surprising since we got off on such a wrong foot. cons: - there is NO AIR CONDITIONING. The fan that's in the closet, for you to put in the room, does NOT WORK. Would be nice to know this beforehand in 35+ degrees celsius weather, because I overheat quickly. When we made a complaint, they couldn't find a working fan (shouldn't be too hard to make a trip to the store in my opinion) and offered us the room below us, with no AC or fan either. -The same room is not wheelchair or suitcase friendly, you have to go up a flight of bending stairs. The front desk employee did not tell us this, nor did they tell us that the room can be reached from the OUTSIDE of the building. We walked through the entire building for nothing. - Paint on the window frames is chipping. - Very tight shower. - The toilet can only be flushed when you put down the toilet lid, the button is put too low? - No outlets near the bed so no possibility to charge your phone nearby. - No kettle/coffee machine in the room. The Paint on the window frames is chipping. - Very tight shower. - The toilet can only be flushed when you put down the toilet lid, the button is put too low? - No outlets near the bed so no possibility to charge your phone nearby. - No kettle/coffee machine in the room - Not every light has a seperate switch. - Guests sit on the grass outside the room, very nearby. The following cons could apply to any guest, even in the expensive rooms. -We could not check in at the time we were supposed to, but an hour later. The employee told us this was due to housekeeping being very busy and our room being located at the end. They could've known this beforehand though. We weren't offered any compensation, not even a free drink or something. - We had to ask for our welcome drink and for the complimentary pastries on the second day. The pastries were all out on the third day, nobody told us what time they were served either. The only person who deserves a raise is the blonde waiter in the Cafe who offered us a coffee/juice instead to compensate. -The swimming pool is too small for the amount of guests in the peak hours , so is the amount of sunbeds. People lay down in the morning and stay there all day, which means you can't get a spot when you want to in the afternoon. -The ramp to the reception feels very steep to be wheelchair accessible. - Not many parking spaces, there is a chance you'll have to park in the street, a few minutes away. - Inconsequent service in the restaurant: one day you'll get a drinks menu, one day you won't. The same goes for icecubes in your drink, dessertspoons or if the screens in front of the windows are shut (open = wasps inside). Pro's: - Nice looking interior in the lobby and hallways. - Daily vouchers for one free pastry per person. - One free bottle of water in the room. - with half board: good food in a three course concept, menu varies daily. This was the highlight of the hotel. - wide array of breakfast items. - enough channels on the tv. Concluding I WILL NOT COME AGAIN.

Very nice spa area with plenty of saunas and rooms to relax, although a bit overcrowded on the weekend and not all guests being particularly mindful of the fact that they’re not alone. Service at the bar for the afternoon coffee break was inattentive and had an attitude when we were trying to order drinks at at the bar, you could also hear them arguing amongst each other. It was our first time - might return on a weekday - otherwise not the relaxation we had hoped for.

Stayed here with peers for view days. Location great, ambience very nice. Wonderful gardens. Supposingly nice pool area and spa. But no time for that. The workshop room in the old building was charming though. Breakfast was impeccable. Lunch and Dinner was buffet type due to the size of our group and ok‘isch, a la carte supposed to be much better.

We family of 4 went for a Time out Spa. We recently had the most rejuvenating experience at Bollants Spa im Park. From the moment we walked in, the serene atmosphere whisked away all our stress. The staff greeted us warmly, ensuring every detail of our visit was perfect. The Spa were heavenly, leaving us feeling utterly pampered and refreshed. We love everything about this place, from pool, sauna, steam, jacuzzi, relax room, everything. We highly recommend this spa to anyone in need of relaxation and self-care. It is also a child friendly, we went with 9 and 5yo boys and they had a blast as well. Family Nordmann

We have been a weekend as a couple . Gastronomie , Bar , is nice with friendly service .Atmosphere and environment too .with a nice outdoor pool .|Problem is reception , no smile at arrival , not really friendly so you dont get a professional impression .. |We tried to call during three days in a row to book massages before we arrived without any success to reach anyone .. so we had no chance to get what we wanted because of it was fully booked .. |Also i tried to make some more reservations by email .. still waiting for an answer after three days .. |The reception teams are not reliable enough or need customer relation training , in order to fit to this category of SPA hotel .|

Several times I was there in the hotel as a day gast. Used to relax in the beautiful garden in a beauty surrounding and making use of the wonderful pool to cool down. After such a day or half a day I feel really relax. The service of the people in the hotel is good and they are friendly to help you if you need something.

We spent three days here and it was a full immersion in relax. The facility offers a full spectrum of spa services. Top clean and high professional service. The level of the offer is very good. The culinary experience also pleasant. We lived in one of the small lodges with whirlpool under the patio: hydro massaging at sunset was a lovely experience. The facility is in the midst of wine yards area and the local wine offer at Bollant is satisfactory. The whole staying was very rewarding. The only things we found could be improved, massage experience was rather rushed through. Out of the planned 25 min massage, the effective massage time was 9 Minutes, rather less to even start relaxing. On another note, Occasionally the service at the restaurant are a bit overwhelmed. They could be better organized it kind of lacked of supervision. However they were utterly kind and did their best to make us feeling good and we had a really pleasant staying.
