Bolo fresh kitchen

Great food spot. High variety of toppings, a little salty but thats all food in the US. I don’t know why it’s so dry in there. This place should be booming. Regardless, the staff is sweet and make my bowls good for a good price.

The staff was extremely nice, talked out what they offered and took their time to explain everything. The food on the other hand… the chicken was that cheap Chinese food chicken not white meat chicken breast.

Food was ok. Nothing to rave about. Broccoli was VERY spicy. Brown rice had pieces that were not cooked and hurt my teeth. Ginger sauce was good and teriyaki chicken was good. On the expensive side.

Better than Chipotle. The portions are amazing and they don’t cheap out on anything. Everything was fresh and tasty and the lady serving was extremely nice. For a steak bowl it’s about $12. That’s a great price for everything you get. They also have more side options like broccoli, plain red onions, and different sauces. I’m coming here from now on when I’m craving a steak bowl.

Normally I’m not too negative on food but this was horrible and nothing was fresh about the meat. Either close down or train the staff on the importance of food rotation bro

Omg!!!! What a hidden gem. I like jersey mikes and all, but the line at lunch was insane!!!! Super friendly staff. Clean place, and excellent food!!!

Food is meh, ok. Not very flavorful. The veggies look old and soggy so I skipped on those. I asked if I can taste a small piece of the steak and I was given a piece in the palm of my hand to eat. Not on a plate or on a fork but my hand. Ok...Yikes! Service was not so bad the ladies did their best. I go to pay with a non-chip gift card and they did not know how to process the payment. That cannot be good for business. This store occupies a very prominent position on busy main street, you have hospitals, banks, universities, schools, offices and other business near by who will use a credit card, debit card or a gift card with no chip. So now I am ready to eat and surprise, no utensils, no sauces, no napkins, nothing in the bag. It was like hey take this and get out. Atmosphere, none at all. This review is the most 'atmosphere' you will get. I may try it out again in a few weeks.

Bolo Fresh is an Asian American inspired cuisine where you can build your own bowl from their variety of protein and topping options! We both got the chicken teriyaki as our main protein which was so flavorful. Perfectly teriyaki flavoring was unique and overall great touch to the bowl.For toppings we collectively had cauliflower, broccoli, potatoes, tomato, cheese, lettuce, and rice! All the flavors were amazing and we specifically loved their sauce selection. They have six sauces, including: bolo teriyaki, sriracha aoli, tangy chili, fresh ginger sauce, spicy thai chili, and olive oil vinaigrette. The bowl creations are endless!! This new establishment opened in April 2024. Its right across Hostfa University in Uniondale, I choose the chicken teriyaki bowl. I had cauliflower, broccoli, seasoned rice, onion, and peppers, corn, and pico. I did not enjoy it very much. I thought that my dish was too peppery and salty. The price was not bad. $9.99. They do offer student discounts. They store is very clean. I will give it another try in the future

This new place is awesome , eating healthy these days is tough , but here you can do so and actually enjoy your meal. The bowls are delicious and fresh and not over seasoned like chipotle or these other places. The environment is clean , bright and the staff members are friendly. Give this place a try , you'll love it !

This location had not been opened long (April 2024) when I went in with my husband. This was our first time going and we were greeted by 4 friendly faces. I, of course had questions since this was my first time coming here. They explained the process to me. I pick what I want from the choices of proteins, which included tofu, chicken, steak, beef and shrimp, assorted vegetables, toppings, dressings and different rices and all my choices go into a bowl. I was quite hungry and the serving sizes were quite hearty. I ate the whole thing. The food was delicious, tasted very fresh. Seasoned nicely and quite tasty. The prices are in comparison to other places with the same setup like Chipotle, maybe a couple dollars more. But the selections of toppings is similar. I would come back again as I think this is tastier than Chipotle.

Walked here twice and they close before closing time. It's 8:35 why are the doors locked if they close at 10. First time we got here at 9:15 and they told us we couldn't order.

food is good but this resturant changes the time they close everyday. I came to get food a few times and they are closed and 8:40 meanwhile the store is supposed to close at 10. Another time 9:30.Im coming early and the door is locked and they are cleaning. Really disappointing when youre wasting time to travel to the store.

I usually come here and it's a not issue but the past week has been so different. Last week wednesday around 8pm and i got hungry and bolo is down the block from me so i went and at 8, i go in and they are closed, no food on the line and cleaning the restaurant. On the website it says they close at 10pm though so i was confused, wasn't a big deal so i went somewhere else. Just now i went and the guy handling my order was very nice but the girl on the register looked very annoyed that i was even there. I asked her if it was ok for me to pay and she didn't even acknowledge me and then i looked at the receipt and she didn't charge me correct. I got charged for double meat when i didn't get double meat and when i said have a good day to her she just walked away, didn't say anything back. I don't ever do reviews this is my first one, i personally would steer away from this place after the lunch rush or dinner rush even if there is one.
