Where to Order a Diwali Feast in Boston | Eater Boston

"I note that Bombay Brunch, a takeout-only shop in Woburn, Massachusetts, specializes in vegetarian fare from India’s third-largest state, Maharashtra, and is stocking lots of Chitale Bandhu goodies for Diwali, including packages of besan ladoo, shankarpali, and deep-fried coconut karanji; they are running special delivery times for Diwali orders (order minimum $30) from October 23 to 30." - Erika Adams

We visited here and tried the Bombay Sandwich and the Indian Fusion Pizza. Both were delicious with authentic flavors and good portions. Great taste, good quantity, and definitely worth coming back for!

Bit expensive for street food. Also we ordered chicken achari pizza there was barely any chicken for $17! The wrap and puff was average for this price range. At least make it worth for the customers to spend. Not worth. Being an Indian from Bombay it’s nothing like Bombay. Flavors were okay too.

Update June 22 tried their iraní tea - it was fantastic however the taste of vadapav and egg puff is not consistent. I have to shave off one point. ******** Bombay Baking Co. is a fresh and welcome addition to Woburn’s growing Indian street food scene. This bright and clean café has a modern, inviting vibe with plenty of parking and super friendly staff. The vada pav was a standout—the flavors were bold and authentic, though the batter could have been a bit thinner for that perfect crunch. The butterscotch pastry was a delightful surprise—rich, moist, and indulgent. The egg puff was satisfying and well-seasoned, while the chili cheese toast was just average and could use a bit more punch. One disappointment: they were out of milk and couldn’t serve tea, which felt like a missed opportunity in a café setting. That said, the overall experience was positive, and I’m looking forward to coming back to try more from their menu.

The food was absolutely amazing! I tried the veg puffs and egg puffs, and also bought tutti frutti cookies and a black forest cake. Everything was just awesome. This place is a must-visit. I highly recommend it!

Recently opened near us, went in there to check it out as the one Indian bakery chain we had near us is way past its best by date and absolutely disgusting. Place decor is very nice though not very many seating - maybe 4-5 tables of 4. I guess their model is more take out than done in. Eating in is cafeteria style. You order at the counter and they yell your name when food is ready, you walk over and pick it up. Plasticware & napkin dispensers. Did not see any water dispenser - maybe they want to sell bottled water Ordered a few stuff of which - Dahi puri - extremely sweet yogurt and barely any other chutneys to qualify as chaat, more like a dessert. Almond biscotti - tasted like burnt bread with almonds, definitely needs work. Pastries (Pineapple, chocolate) were good. Next trip will be to try out the pizzas. NOTE: The prices advertised are for CASH payments, if you pay by CC be prepared for a 4% upcharge as "non-cash adjustment" tacked on to your bill.

Bombay Baking Co. is a new addition to Boston’s Indian street food scene, located in a quiet corner of Woburn behind Toyota of Woburn with ample parking. This café-style spot has a laid-back, chill atmosphere. The food was impressive: the vada pav was solid, the maska bun evoked nostalgic childhood memories, the veggie burger was flavorful with excellent sauce and spicy fries, and the all-veg pizza was authentically Indian. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll return to explore more of their menu.

Great food and quick service Irani chai 🙂🤌🏻 Updated review: We visit this place very often..they have issues with AC it’s been out, from weeks: it too hot and suffocating to sit and dine though they have set large fans. It will be nice to have AC fixed I’m not sure how the employees are handling the heat .

Great vibes and fun options to choose from. Not the most authentic Bombay food, but still tastes good. A little expensive for the portion sizes IMO.
