I went here for lunch with co-workers the other day. I was a little nervous when I walked in because it was around noon, but the restaurant was dead.
The food was definitely decent and moderately priced. The service wasn't excellent, but wasn't bad enough to complain about either. Everything about the experience was very middle of the road.
One thing I did like is the food didn't taste too greasy, which sometimes I feel guilty about when eating Indian food. I order the Tandoori Thali with lamb lunch special.

This is not a place to find authentic Indian food. All dishes taste watery and has barely Indian flavor. Additionally, the price for an entry is outrageous. Trader Joe's frozen Indian food taste much better than any item at this restaurant. Stay away.

Inconsistent service for good food....their Thalis (lunch box platters) are a good buy. Nela Panisse started the contemporary Indian food in this charming, colorful little box of a place.

OK what's up people? This place is good. It used to be crowded AF, but now nobody goes there. At this rate the place will be out of business, and then I won't be able to go there anymore, which sucks, because it's Bombay.

Awesome food but I wish it was a bit cheaper for the portions they give you.
