It was my fourth visit basically we celebrate our anniversary , birthday here! This time we are really upset spoil the day! Service was not good start from soup the soup was salty ! We ordered tandoori plater got the thali ! Thali was average all grilled item was cold ! After having the thali we decided to order the veg nooddles it was not that good only the mashroom munchorian & dumpling was good! Though it was the dinner time we have to come back with empty stomach! I really dont know what wrong with their service, may be as it was busy so the server was on hurry! This time i am not starisfied i am sorry to say.

Food is always great here. We always order off the India House menu. We order the food spicy and it delivers! Very flavorful and delicious. One of the better Indian restaurants in the area. I would recommend this place. Cocktails are pretty good as well. Restaurant was clean. Service was great.

I ordered spicy teriyaki chicken extra spicy with shrimp, waited for 15 mins after order was ready they texted cause they couldn’t find my order did not even apologize or nothing, then gave me this not at all spicy I had to add the red chilli sauce that comes with it and they charged me 25$ for this little portion of noodles with less than 10 tiny shrimps in there. Do you all think a customer will return with this kind of service if and forgot to add there was literal water at the bottom, they were so mushy too

The service was poor had to wait long time for us to place an order. The food wasn’t that great. Disappointed with majority of the items. Except for noodles everything we tried wasn’t up to the mark. Wasn’t a proper Indo-Chinese I would say. Momos was a disaster.

This Restaurant serves very good Indo Chinese Food .. Service is slow so better to order in advance to avoid wait time for the next order .. I would recommend this place for its ambience and good food .. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian food are good .. It is a good place to enjoy Indo Chinese Food ..

It was busy due to Diwali weekend celebrations, but the wait was not to long and the staff were very kind and pleasant. We always have a great dining experience there.

Had a great experience here. Tommy and Nadia took such good care of us super attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. Food came out fast and tasted amazing. Definitely coming back!

We used to come to India House years ago for the buffet. Someone posted that the buffet was back... but inside Bombay Chopsticks Restaurant. We have been here three times already! The fresh hot Tandoori Chicken sizzling on a platter is so yummy! When your being seated they will ask you if your a vegetarian, if you want the chicken be sure to tell them no! The buffet is full of amazing Indian dishes... so everyone in your party will surely find something yummy to eat! There are vegetarian dishes, as well as chicken, and even goat meat. The samosa's and the naan are really delicious too! Our waiter was very kind and attentive. Everything is all you can eat and he brought us naan and Tandoori Chicken refills and kept our water glasses full! We appreciated his service with a smile! You have to come and give this place a try! We will be back for sure!

Stopped by for dinner on a Sunday night and they were PACKED!! The cocktails and food were both delicious! We ordered: -Chicken egg rolls - Full of flavor -Malai Kofta - Loved the gravy -Chicken Makhani - My favorite!! full of flavor and the chicken wasn't chewy -Shanghai's Spicy Chicken - nice and spicy. I asked for rice but since this is dry chicken, it tasted better alone. The Raspberry, Lime, and Strawberry Margaritas are good! I highly recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to go back again myself!

I love Indian buffets ever since my friend took us to the nearby Gaylord restaurant many years ago. Saw that India House reopened their buffet after a break during covid, and I suggested to my gfs for us to try for our next lunch date based off of the good reviews. Happy to say that we all enjoyed! Great variety of meat and vegetarian entrees, appetizers, a salad bar, and 2 delicious Indian desserts (mango kulfi and kheer). They brought out piping-fresh, tender, homemade naan along with a plate of tandoori chicken. Everything looked made with care, even the quality of salad greens. Also my friend who has a lower spice tolerance than us was able to find many things to eat. Prices are: $15.95 Tue-Fri (11:30-2:30) $16.95 Sat & Sun (11:30-3) Very friendly service from our server Sukumar where our dirty plates were cleared promptly and waters were refilled attentively. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Definitely would go here again :)!

A place I had really high hopes for being an Hakka addict. We started with hot and sour soup and Veg Manchurian balls which really set out expectations high. We were only disappointed there after. We ordered the same dish again in gravy to go with our noodles and it was supper oily. Consistency check failed the very same dinner. While portion sizes were nice, quality is important too. Ambience was pleasant. The biggest disappointment however was the service. We had to keep waiting for our server. Look for him. We asked another server for some hot sauce he never came back nor informed our server. We should rather help ourselves. I saw average rating and still took a chance and I wish I hadn't.

We were welcomed, greeted and seated nicely. Our server was very sweet. Didn't get his name. I love their food but was different this time. We ordered lemon coriander soup, was different than last time we had. Instead of being a clear soup, it was full of vegetables. Tasted good but still I would prefer clear soup. We also ordered basil fried rice and gravy cauliflower Manchurian. I found basil fried rice - rice we dry and Manchurian was very salty. But overall, i enjoyed my date night with my husband.

My first time at Bombay and the place was crowded. Both sides of the restaurant was bustling with guests and it seemed like not enough help. We thought the food must really be good if there are these many guests. We were given 2 different menus. One was a traditional Indian menu where you would find your typical Indian dishes like Tikka, Makhani, and Tandoori. The other menu was an Indo-Chinese menu. There were just so many options and it felt overwhelming. We asked our server what to order and what was most popular but he didn't seem to know or was just dismissive about it. We decided we would order 2 items from each menu. Off the Indo-Chinese, we got the Dang dang chicken fried rice, and the Shanghai chicken. We also got an order of hot and sour soup. Everything we ordered off this menu we didn't not enjoy. The dang dang fried rice was bland and lacked any flavor. The Shanghai chicken was soggy and very sweet. The hot and sour soup had no sour just salty and ground meat broth with a kick. Off the Indian menu we got the Chicken Makhani, Goa Curry (tilapia with coconut curry) and garlic naan. Out of these dishes the fish curry was our favorite. The makhani was too tart from the tomato base. It could have used a bit more cream to mellow the tartness. Overall this meal set us back a little over $100. We also checked in using the Yelp app and got 10% off the meal which was nice. To be honest I thought the food was a bit too pricey and we didn't feel the Indo-Chinese entrees we ordered would make us wanting to come back to order again. Although it was a bit disappointing, it could just be we didn't know what to order. We may give Bombay another chance and try their lunch buffet which they do offer. I think we can try a variety of items from the buffet to get a better idea of what we may want to order in the future.

The best quality Indian food in this entire Midwest area! My partner and I loved the food. Everything was bursting with flavor. The servers were amazing! They kept our waters filled, brought tandoori chicken and naan bread until we asked them to stop. Inviting and family friendly, lots of space to sit. We were so full and so satisfied. This place 10/10 we recommend!

My friend and I went to Bombay Chopsticks for dinner last week, and the place is beautiful from the inside. All the staff is really friendly and welcoming! Once you get seated, you get two menus: one for Bombay chopsticks, which is Indo-Chinese, and the second one for India House, which is Punjabi food. Both menus have many options, so we decided to order from both. We started with Crystal Baby Corn and Masala fries, which were delicious! I'm still thinking about the baby corn- SO good! For our entree, we got Malai Kofta & Garlic Naan which we didn't like. The Malai Kofta was sweet and wasn't flavorful. I would recommend ordering from the Bombay Chopsticks menu over India House. They have party rooms and take reservations, so I'd highly recommend doing that on weekends!

I don't remember the menu names of everything that our group ordered. But we had braised goat in a brown sauce, stewed lamb in spicy tomato sauce, chicken curry, and chicken tikka, all with basmati rice and garlic naan. We also ordered sweet and sour chicken, some sauce-tossed tempura shrimp, and chicken fried rice. For appetizers, we had orders of potato and peas samosa, and spring rolls. Most had soda and water; I had a mango lassi. I don't know if it was because of our group size, but the service and food were awesome and matched the ambiance well. The manager also came over to see how our experience was. We're going back when next we are in the Hoffman area for another conference.

We really enjoyed our multiple experiences at Bombay chopsticks. Our server has always been Mr SuKumar and he's always been such a pleasure to work with. He now knows our likes and dislikes and will suggest what new dishes we should try out. He always goes above and beyond, he really knows the dishes well and gets to know his customers. We always feel welcomed there. We bring our out of state guests here and it never disappoints. The food is always 9-10/10. But It can get a bit noisy there especially on the weekends.

The last time I visited this restaurant was pre COVID ... in early 2019. And then I went again recently. Boy! What a change this place has gone through in 1. Service 2. Food quality and 3. Variety on menu. We loved everything we ordered, starting with Chili chicken, followed by Kung Pao chicken and ended with fried rice. The taste was so refreshing and something that had been missing before. The server was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. What I enjoyed most about this place is the timeliness of the food delivery. It was perfectly timed. Great experience. I am giving it 4 stars only because the smell as you enter is stale and pungent. But then it's a Chinese Indian mix restaurant! ‍

MEAL: Dinner ORDER TYPE: Dine-in MY ORDER EXPERIENCE: Bombay Chopsticks is a Chinese and Indian food fusion. Not sure I have been to this place before, but we were a party of 4. As we entered the restaurant, we liked the place right away. With various signage, decorative lights and comfortable seats, the ambience was great. They had a wide variety of seating including the bar area. Everything about the place was fancy. The place was crowded, and we had to wait for a couple of minutes for us to get seated. The menu had many categories with a variety of food under each section. They had markings for the level of spice, gluten free, vegetarian and meat on the menu. It was difficult to pick from most items. After a long discussion we finally came to some conclusion to order the following SOUPS: Tom Kha Soup (Vegetable) First, we kicked off our dinner with the soups. The soup had a good taste and aroma. It was made from coconut milk-based soup with Thai herbs and spices. I shared it with my friend. My other friends ordered Lemon Coriander Soup where they mentioned it was good too. APPETIZERS (Paneer, Vegetable): Simultaneously, we ordered both paneer and vegetable appetizers. As we were a group of 4, we ordered a wide variety of shareables. We ordered some of the most common favorite dishes and among them a couple of the dishes had paneer. Asian Style Paneer Taco (Vegetable) This dish is made up of Crispy Taco shells stuffed with paneer, bell peppers, onion and lettuce topped with mayo. The dish was not great, and it tasted very bland, and the taco shells were too hard. Szechwan Pepper Paneer The presentation of the paneer was appealing but the quantity was limited. This is a batter fried paneer tossed with Szechwan pepper and light soya and bell peppers. Honestly, at least for me this appetizer tastes better of all. The quantity was very less. Vegetable Balls Manchurian Dry (Medium spice) It was made from fried mixed vegetable balls tossed with chopped onion, celery, garlic, ginger, red chili, and dark soya sauce. This dish was alright. The quantity of veggies was dominating the quantity of Manchurian balls. I felt like we should have ordered something spicy. Golden Fried Baby Corn (Medium spice) It was a double fried crispy baby corn tossed in ginger, garlic, and chili sauce. The presentation of this dish was top notch, and it was just mouthwatering but unfortunately the dish was not up to the mark FRIED RICE: Seven Spice Fried Rice (Medium spice) It is a basmati rice tossed with butter diced vegetables, cashew nuts and seven spice powder. The quantity was good and one thing I liked about it was there were cashews in the rice. NOODLES AND CHOPSUEY: Chili Garlic Noodles (Vegetable) It is made from thin noodles tossed with julienne vegetables in red chili garlic sauce. Chili Garlic Noodles is my favorite dish of the night. It was spicy, soft, and not too oily. The dish was made perfect in both taste and presentation wise. Overall, the ambience was amazing, and the restaurant is perfect for friends and family. The place gets noisy especially over the weekends. The table was small and when the waiter used to bring new dishes, we had to clear our empty dishes. I felt a little congested. The space between the tables is close and it was a little inconvenient. The price of the food is little on the high end. The food tasted bland for all of us and some of the dishes had no taste. The customer was good too. I would recommend this place to anyone if one is looking for some good experience of the American version of Asian/Indian food. PROS: The place is inviting for both friends and family. CONS: The price is on the high end for the quantity they provide.

So last time we were there with a big group of friends for a friend's bday. The service was good, Richard was great server. however the manager of the place(forgetting her name), anyways she was extremely rude and didnt talk to properly at all over a conversation regarding serving limited stock of alcohol.

We came here multiple times, food was great, I like the lollipop chicken and burnt garrlic chicken fried rice. Sunny served us, he is most afffable and friendly person.

Came here for Christmas dinner with the family and they're always so accommodating and the food was as always delicious. Had a great time with family and it really makes a difference when you don't have to worry about the quality of food or service and I can definitely say this resteraunt has maintained their consistency with that!

Took the staff here for a holiday lunch. I had not been here in a long time so wanted to give it a try again. I was very impressed with the service. The environment was very friendly and decor was professional. We had drinks right away. Appetizers and soups came out fairly quickly. Soon after we had our meals. We all enjoyed our food and it was very filling. We will all be back here again.

We asked the manager to allow us to pray in a corner since it was Maghrib praying time, but the manager flatly denied our request to say that the guests would be uncomfortable . We strongly condemn this act, which girs against the religious freedoms of people. A concerned Muslim

I visited here with a group of friend's to try out some new Indian food in the area. The restaurant overall was really nice on the inside and the server wsa also very understanding. I ordered the chilli paneer and the hakka noodles and both dishes were pretty good. I would say that the portion of the chilli paneer was a bit small for the price, but the hakka noodles had a high quantity. The overall flavor of the chilli paneer was really good, but a bit lacking for the noodles. Overall, I would probably not go here again simply because of the price and I would choose a different place to get the full indo-chinese experience.

Service and waiters were very personable. The buffet that runs Mon thru Fri from 11:30-2:30 is great. 90% of food was not spicy. If it had spice it was just a little bit of spice. Waiters were very professional. Loved the food variety, very fresh and was prepared that morning. Food was very tasty and cooked to perfection. Give it a try.

I really do enjoy some of the food here, especially the fried corn appetizer and manchurian balls. However, I'm not such a fan of the Hakka Noodles, likely would not get that again. Some of the drinks seemed overpriced for what actually came, and the service was incredibly slow with a server who wasn't particularly kind or attentive in any way. In fact, he generally just seemed annoyed or in a bad mood. Our food was quite spicy, which was great, but I spent the entire meal trying to get a refill of water, and we even finished all of our appetizers a significant amount of time before we got to order. So, after coming now a couple of time so far, it's been about a 3 star experience for me.

BUFFET IS BACK IN TOWN!! Rich variety of flavor & choice! it's been over two years since i've seen a buffet like this anywhere. Had a lot of ***WOW** factor! I got a great body buzz, I feel like a dancing Sativa Plant!!

I would give this a 3 only for the ambience and the staff. If I had to rate the food. It would be 1 *. I had never been here so my husband and I decided to stop by for dinner. Their 2 menus, Indian and Chinese are extensive. We decided to order the masala fries from the India House menu and the Chinese Bhel from the Bombay Chopsticks menu. The masala fries were plain French fries with some seasoning on it. Nothing special. The Chinese bhel was chopsuey noodles tossed with a little sauce. No spring onions, or any vegetable. Just some strange sauce that didn't soak into the noodles. We then ordered Kingpao eggplant. This is supposed to be breaded eggplant in a gravy. The dish had absolutely no salt or flavor. Also, it tasted bitter. We had to send the dish back to the kitchen. One thing to note, the food came out within 5 minutes. From the fries to the bhel to the eggplant. It just seemed like everything was just thrown into a pan to heat and serve. Will not go back.

Bombay Chopsticks, is not a place to go to if you want to enjoy your dinner. The food is expensive and not good at all. The munchow soup was like corn starch water, with no vegetables or crispy noodles to garnish, and when we asked for crispy noodles, they charged for something that is part of soups. The server didn't care and barely came to our table after we told him the soup was not good. None of the other dishes were worth it at all, this is not the restaurant we will be going to again.

Food is alright and so is their service. If you want to try go for it. It's worth one trip.

Yummy indo-chinese restaurant in the Schaumburg area. Food was flavorful but the service was slow so be prepared to wait. The menu is extensive with lots of options for everyone. Make reservations ahead of time. We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. Love the masala soda, a visit to the restaurant is incomplete without having masala soda.

Have always heard about this place for indo Chinese and finally got to try it! It was a great experience. We ordered orange chicken, crispy lamb and Hakka noodles in medium spice level. It was delicious. I wish the orange chicken was crispy. But it got all soggy in the sauce so it wasn't as enjoyable. I would most probably just go with some other kind of chicken next time. The food hit the spot. I was craving indo Chinese and it was on point. Definitely a pricey restaurant and even more expensive now because of COVID.

I just got done having the brunch buffet here; it was so awesome! I missed Indian buffets so much since COVID put so many out of commission! So I was so glad to see the post on Bombay Chopsticks' Facebook page about them starting up weekend buffets! This buffet had about 15 or 16 different stations --all fantastic! I especially loved the goat curry, butter chicken, yellow dal, basmati rice, fresh warm naan (with 4 different chutney sauces), tandoori chicken, and a bunch of other vegetable dishes I also ate but can't remember the names of! For dessert I had mango ice cream and Kheer/rice pudding! The servers were very attentive and made sure my drink glasses were promptly refilled! Plus, just before they closed the buffet down, they went around to all the remaining diners to see if everyone had gotten all they needed from the buffet--so very classy! Anyway, I would definitely come back and am glad this restaurant is still around! I've actually been dining here since the mid-2000's and used to order as much as $150-$200 of take-out here during the past falls and winters! Anyway, great job Bombay Chopsticks Team!!!

I hate to write this review. However, I would need to spotlight the negligent response and rude attitude of the person who spoke over phone from the team responsible for handling customers complaints at Bombay Chopsticks. We had dine in for dinner with this restaurant (on 04/07/2023) and even before we were out from the restaurant my wife suffered severe health issues (which she never experienced before with any restaurant food). I highly suspect the quality of the food or the ingredients which they use to make the food taste better is causing health hazards. When I called last night (at 10:52) to report our concern of having health effect after taking the dinner at the restaurant, she didn't have the basic courtesy to empathize. She instead was focusing on refunding our bill or asked us to prove that the health issue with doctor reports and they would take care of hospital bills!!!. They mentioned they follow all FDA guidelines and not at risk for their business. We recommended to mention any ingredient which causes allergies (such as peanut, MSG,etc.,)in the menu for the understanding of the customers but they said it's not their responsibility. Definitely not worth eating the food at this restaurant when they are least bothered about the customer's health. We would never recommend Bombay Chopsticks!! This restaurant is not even worth for 1 star rating for their negligence

The food was very good and enjoyable. Went there with my niece and nephew and great niece. The ladies enjoyed themselves.

The ambiance and staff were amazing. The food was good with different flavors for the Hakka style. It was less Indian flavors than I thought it would be as a Chinese-Indian fusion. Overall okay.

I felt sick from this place after I ate it. The food is not good, the only thing I like here is the lollipop chicken, the costumer service isn't bad but the lady sitting across us was loud and obnoxious. I feel like if costumers are like this the restaurant should say something.

I was very happy to see that the India house buffet was back. They had quite a few selections, and it was just like the old buffet from years ago. We went at lunchtime on a Friday and there weren't very many people there, which surprised me because of the quality of the buffet. I hope more people will frequent this restaurant. They have great food and great service. They also brought fresh naan and sizzling hot tandoori chicken to the table. Tell your friends

I like indo-Chinese food and was really excited to try this place out. However everything we ordered was just okay. The menu had plenty of options and and the restaurant was busy, so we assumed the food would be good. However the noodles and Manchurian was so-so but lacked a lot of flavor. The service we received was fine but it took a while to get our bill and pay.

Great indochinese food and service! would take my family here again for dinner. Took my aunts out here for mothers day and the service was quick and convenient. Portions were pretty good and food was great but on the oily side but that is the cuisine.

Please save your money. I'd give this nasty place 0 stars if I could. The lady who took my order on the phone asked me what I'm going to eat my white rice with and then told me I better order something else because it doesn't go with anything I ordered. It was so strange. Then was rude to my husband when he went to pick up the food. The food was terrible, we ordered two soups and they were a sad excuse for Thai. Anywhere would be better than this place,

Gave another go after I tried BC about 8 years back. (First visit was average - second one was disaster). Ordered the below items: * Lemon Pepper Panner - The battered fried paneer with tossed pepper was super bland and extremely dry. Nothing Lemony or White peppery about it. * Dang dang noodles (extra spicy) - The quantity was lot for $16. I prefer QUALITY OVER quantity. The extra spicy was a joke - no spice at all (I am not affected by covid). Lacked salt, seasoning and flavor. Avoid it all cost. * Schzwn Fried Rice (Mild) - Same as above. In addition to it, it had a burnt after taste (I am pretty sure I did not order Burnt garlic rice). I am not coming back. There are places around Schaumburg serving better Indo-Chinese. $50 went down the drain. Taco bell would have been better choice had I listened to my inner voice ;)

I'm shocked I haven't gotten around to reviewing Bombay Chopsticks yet, I've been frequenting for as long as it's been around. Unfortunately this is a review of Bombay Chopsticks' current state, which in-fact is a poor one. I've always found the ambiance appealing for anything closely associated with Indians, your interior designer hooked you up well. I've also always enjoyed my favorite dishes I go in seeking. It's the service and inconsistency with the food that leaves little desire to return. We arrive when a manger (owner?) is casually interviewing in a booth just a couple feet away from us (can you say awkward?) and glances over without any acknowledgment at all. We wait, a group arrives behind us, and then another one. Still no hostess to be seen. After an unreasonably long wait to be acknowledged, I creep over to the bar area hoping to be able to flag someone down with no success and to back out to the lobby to continue to wait. Finally the manager yells over to his staff to let them know there's people waiting. We're seated in a booth and wait another 20 minutes to be acknowledged. We place our order and our waiter recommends to put in our full order right away because it's busy, so we do and everything comes at the same time. Our order of spring rolls is cold and tasteless. We run out of water and we can't get anyone to stop and refill. Our meals are finished and waiter brings our checks without ever asking us for desert, which we wanted. 3 stars because I love the Eggplant Singapore and crispy honey baby corn but service has been lacking ridiculously. It gets worse and worse every time.

A new conceptual Indo-Chinese cuisine restaurant in greater Chicago area. My most favourite place for Indo-Chinese food! Highly recommended for all who would like to try Indo-Chinese food. The food here has the exact Indian street style Chinese taste! Recommended appetizer: Vegetable balls in manchurian dry (Spicy) Ambience: Casual spot. Great for family lunch and dinner. Also, worth mentioning, their bar menu includes Indian favourites such as Kingfisher.

5 star for sure. Great sevice ,quick and delicious food . Good drinks . Tried the dragon fire chicken, salt and pepper calamari and Manchuria all great choices

This was my first time trying Indian food and it was amazing! Our server Kumar is super friendly and highly knowledgeable about the menu and restaurant. He always recommends the best dishes and drinks. My favorite dishes are the Kung Pao Paneer and Red Curry . There's so many options on the menu which it great, and Kumar makes it easy to choose. Highly recommend!

Trying to find the right Indian Chinese fusion food is always a detrimental effort. So when I came across this restaurant, I was slightly nervous. As I entered I was astounded by the beautiful decor and focus on aesthetics. The kitchen even had a peekaboo window into it. I felt relaxed. We ordered Kung Pao and Hot and sour soup. Needless to say, I was heavily disappointed. The hot and sour soup seemed to watered down and quite frankly much bland. The taste was remarkably bad and there seemed to be no Asian touch to the taste. Overall 0.5 out 5 for the soup Just after viewing the Kung pao I was assured I would not like it. Kung pao was smothered in a salty sauce which seemed like schezuan and I was really disappointed once again to feel no touch of Indian spices in it. The dish seemed like a packet of P.F. Chang's Kung pao chicken heated in schezuan sauce and served. Overall 0 out of 5 Very rarely do I leave the opportunity to take with me my left overs, however it is restaurants and food like this that pushes me to not even think of taking this food with me and hence I let it be. Beyond the food the overall aura is very pleasant however the service seems untrained. My advice: work on taste, work on authenticity of Indian fusion and work on service. Will not be going back again

Really good chili garlic shrimp appetizer and burnt garlic fried rice! Taking off one star as the chili chicken and pepper chicken entrees had way too much salt. Despite that, I would still like to return and try other dishes given the great service and ambience.

Oh goodness what a terrible order. Manchu Soup was tasteless, the whole fried shrimp had tails still on...they just breaded the entire tail and the sauce was cornstarch and sweet with no flavor. The lamb meatballs were hard. The garlic fried rice had just a hint of garlic...basically plain. The noodles were dry. Everything seemed to be refried and dunked in a cornstarchy sauce. We ordered about 4 dishes that had gravy and they gave us one about one cup serving of white rice. We also got singles of each sauce. For an over $115 take out, I would expect plenty of rice and sauce. It had its good days but I will not be wasting my money for large orders here...or any orders for that matter. Disappointed.

I really used to like this place, but the past few times I've been here the quality has really gone to **** while the prices remain exorbitantly high. It seems like there was a recent transition in management to add on to the mess here. I came in on New Years night (01/01 night), and as can be expected the place was crowded. However, what really blew my mind is that only half the tables in the restaurant were open (the rest were sectioned off and not used to seat patrons). This lead to an unnecessary 40 minute wait to get seated. Once we got seated, I realized that there was maybe one or two waiters working for the entire restaurant. Pretty ridiculous. Once we got seated maybe another 20 minute to get our order taken and that was after we flagged down the waiter. To add on to this, I'm not sure if the menu changed recently, but their menu barely has an Indo-Chinese character aside from a few basic dishes. They have items like Orange Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken, but nothing that really has any Indian character. Kind of a bizarre puzzling menu. Anyways, I ordered the firecracker chicken which was very good. I also ordered the manchow soup which was okay, the chicken Manchurian, and the garlic eggplant. The garlic eggplant was strange- very heavily fried and airy inside. A little bit too oily, the Szechuan eggplant at Yu's or Chef Ping's is much better. The chicken machurian was incredibly bland. It basically tasted like thick salty liquid with chicken in it. No Real flavor at all. I was incredibly disappointed in this place. The food was maybe three stars at best, but the service was just horrible. For a family of four, we paid $100 for two entrees, one noodle dish, and appetizers. This place is just not worth the price anymore. Would not recommend wasting your time here.

I've been here a few times and even ordered take out. Take out seems to be better in quality (than quantity) than actual dining in. I agree the food while dining in is piping hot but also extra greasy. I don't understand the concept of good food = greasy food. You can have non greesy yet tasty food. I personally love Indo-chinese food but this greediness is what keeps it away. Coming to the service -terrible. extremely slow and non-attentive. Please pay attention to your customers whether they need refill on drinks or even water or just need a side spicy sauce while their food is still hot. If these improvements are done, I might be back to this place.

A good place to get tasty Indo-Chinese fusion food. It's Chinese style (flavor and preparation) Indian food. I have been here a few times in the past but I guess I never got around writing a review. I like the food here and the variety on their menu. Both are good, in my opinion. I mean not every single thing I tried has been good but overall, the food experience has been good. In my recent visit, I had their Lemon Coriander soup, Eggplant Singapore and Chung Kin Lamb dishes. I liked the soup and the eggplant dish a lot. The lamb dish had a nice flavor but the lamb texture was not to my liking. It tasted a bit gamy, if you will. Our server was good and explained to us about the different varieties that we were eyeing to order. She gave her suggestions as well. I guess, I was a bit picky about what I wanted to eat this time around so we didn't go by our server's recommendations completely. The restaurant is on the pricey side but the portion sizes are big and the flavors are good. I don't go here often. The restaurant's atmosphere is inviting and family friendly. It has a decent ambiance. The place can get a bit noisy when it's busy. The service is decent. If you are looking to try something new and different in Indian food then this is the place to go.

They've just started a Buffet at the Bombay chopsticks. And it was amazing. Everything was freshly made. And your tastebuds will be dancing for joy !!!
