Despite booking and being one of the first customer for a Friday evening, the service was a little rushed. Thankfully the food wasn't.
We arrived around 6.30pm and it was a Friday, so we knew it would get busy. Indeed by 7pm, this eatery was packed. Definitely one to book in advance.
We were offered, almost immediately, the option of ordering from the catch of the day. Lobster, prawn, crab. Politely declined and ordered our meal.
The food is good here; authentic tastes, variety of flavours and plenty to eat. The naan breads were OK, nothing special and a little small. The rice was cooked evenly. We went for the house special curries , all piping hot, whole breast of chicken and more than enough to go around.
And half way through our meal, around 7.30pm we were asked if we had finished when we clearly had food on our table. Then ten minutes, same again. And finally, having felt like we had been rushed we left a 8pm. I would not say 90 minutes is a long time to stay at a table and enjoy good food. Clearly our waiter did.
Would I go back, yes the food was very good for a local restaurant. Perhaps too busy to cope with everyone being sick of turkey after Christmas. I'll give them another chance.
