Bombay Kitchen Food Truck - Review - Northeast Philly - Philadelphia - The Infatuation
"Bombay Kitchen is a Northeast food truck that’s good for a lunch or quick dinner when you crave all things masala, naan, and tandoori. It’s located next to a gas station—like Asad’s nearby—and they have perfectly crispy vegetable samosas packed with seasoned potatoes and peas and an incredible chicken biryani that’s large enough for three. It’s the spicy Indian cheesesteak, though, packed with grilled tikka-style chicken, cilantro and fresh herbs, that turns people into regulars. They’re open until midnight, and whether you come in the daytime or late at night the challenge won’t be the line—it’s making it back to your car before scarfing it all down.

When you think street food, you don’t think elegance, but simply taste. Bombay Kitchen clearly creates their food with so much care that the look of their food matches its taste unlike other places I’ve been to. From their Kathi Roll (first photo), to their Steak and Chicken Tacos (last photo), this place cannot be beat. Give it a shot and prove me wrong!

Great food. Should try out the the chicken cheese steak. Also had biriyani which was good, it came with raitha and achar. The chicken Tikka had too much oil but other then that it comes with garlic Naan or rice. The mango lassi was tasty aswell. The prices were decent and everything is good portions because it filled me up quick. Overall great spot would recommend and I'll be going back to try more things on the menu.

It was highest temp of the year today and watching this guy Ranjeet working passionately in the hot truck with a smiling face compelled me to pass on a silent prayer for him.
This was my first time ordering food from this truck. It was for a very special occasion and Ranjeet made sure no stone remains unturned.
I ordered Chicken Seekh Kabab over salad, Chicken Tikka Masala and Masala fries. Food was great!! Kababs were soft and succulent. Fries were delicious with all those sauces. He even offered complimentary sweets for the special occasion. (Very nice humble guy.) Happy family, happy me; so thank you Bombay Kitchen!
It's an attractive food truck. Desis will love their food and so will American, Hispanic. If you like Indian food with a lil' kick you got to be here :)

I got to enjoy the chicken Tikka masala combo meal with naan. I could taste the deep flavor from the chicken being marinated just right. The naan was also freshly made, not too greasy, with small tasty chunks of onion and garlic. I will definitely be visiting this truck again!

First Desi food truck I've come across in Philly area. The chicken biryani was on point. The fried chicken 65 was a treat. Kudos on the composition of the sauce for that chicken 👏 I also got the tikka masala to see how they're doing the classic dishes. Very good food, very atisfied with the experience. Will definitely go back!!

One of the best Chicken over Rice I ever had. Chicken over fries is also good. Chicken biriyani is ok. Chicken Tikka Hoagies had strong achar smell so I didn’t like it that much. My overall rating for the food is as follows:
Chicken Over Rice: 5+/5
Chicken Loaded Fries: 5/5
Chicken Tikka Hoagies: 3/5
Chicken Biriyani: 3.5/5
