The Best Restaurants in Parc-Extension (Parc-Ex) | Eater Montreal
"This Jean-Talon favourite prepares staples from bhaji to butter chicken and everything in between. Go for the lunch specials, most of which fall under $10 for plates of curry, tikka, and kebab." - Mallory Frayn
The Best Montreal BYOB Restaurants | Eater Montreal
"Montreal’s near-consensus favourite Indian restaurant is a BYOB. Service is infamously erratic but remarkably generous portions offer top bang for your buck. Take note: Punjab Palace, Bombay Mahal’s unofficial Park Ex rival, is also a BYOB." - Holly Tousignant
Literally the worst Indian food I've ever eaten.
Ordered off Uber Eats because I saw they had a 2-for-1 butter chicken special. Great, right? No. Portions are so tiny that it's really just one butter chicken in two take-out containers. Shameful and deceptive business practice.
Would be bearable if it tasted good, but I didn't know butter chicken could be made so poorly. Another review I saw here said it tasted "diluted" and "soup-like," and this is exactly my experience. Tastes like someone made a butter chicken sauce then dumped in equal parts water to save a buck.
Also, the naan was burnt.
I hope the money you guys save from cutting every possible corner covers the cost of never having repeat customers =(

Best Indian food ever!!!One of my favourite places for sure!!!All their dishes are so delicious!! Definitely a go to spot in mtl. I’ve always left feeling more than satisfied and with a stomach full of good food. Love the workers as well:)

Their service is quite poor, and it took a long time for the food to be prepared. Compared to the Indian restaurants nearby, their overall quality is noticeably lower. This is, of course, my personal opinion based on my own experience.

Quality and Quantity is up to mark. Service is quick. Freshly made authentic food. Only lacking in ambience. Doesn’t even have enough sitting room. But then, we went for good food and it was not disappointing.

Incredible Indian food for vegetarians and for meat eaters. AMAZING price. The value, quality, the care and service by the staff. The food was served beautifully, hot, generous portion. I love that they have soup and appetizers and so much variety. Will come here again and again. Highly recommend 💙👍🏻 PS - the garlic naan was incredible and I actually prefer how thin and crispy it was unlike some reviews. One order was enough for two people and was only 3 or so dollars.
