Where to Eat Indo Chinese Food in London | Eater London

"Another Hounslow restaurant, Bombay Wok’s Twin Peaks-ish black and red colour palette looks and feels like a worn down version of Hakkaland. Still, the food is just as good, with the almost identical menu revealing the influence of Steven Lee’s expert hand. Manchow soup is generous with nuggets of prawns and crispy noodles, while kung pao potato with chilli and cashews is aloo gobi’s evil twin. Better still are the chicken lollipops, perfect to suck on before ordering a truly outrageous dessert of crispy noodles soaked in honey and served with ice cream." - Jonathan Nunn

Authentic Indian Chinese from Amchi Mumbai !! Crispy Honey Chicken and Tom Yum soup was divine. The chicken lolipop is to die for! We had the Kung Pao chicken, Sapo Fish, Hakka noodles and Singapore fried rice. For a party of 4 this order and portion size was perfect! The flavours and spices were spot on. Definitely a place I will be coming back to!

A family staple. We have celebrated many birthdays and occasions here… Adrian and Amelia make the experiences even more special. The food is excellent and service is great.

Such a lovely experience! The food was absolutely delicious, freshly made, full of flavour, and truly authentic. You can tell a lot of care goes into the cooking. The staff were super friendly and genuinely lovely. Honestly, everything hit the spot. Definitely one of those places you actually look forward to coming back to!

The worst food I have ever experienced. Everyone ended up vomiting, feeling extremely unwell, and even had to go to the emergency room. We should have picked up the sign on Friday night, as there were only about 10 of us and maybe one more couple. The food all tasted the same, and extremely unfresh cold and straight from freezer ,we complained but staff can only do so much. No proper responsible management,we were grossly overcharged on the bill. I strongly advise against eating here without first inspecting their kitchen. This place used to be one of the best Chinese restaurants before COVID, but since then, it’s been terrible. I hadn’t been back in five years, and it was a complete disappointment to take my family there for dinner. Every single person suffered food poisoning. Honestly, it’s not even worth a single star.

Great food and excellent service from the moment we arrived. The whole family enjoyed the evening and Emilija was very helpful and polite. She is an asset to the team at Bombay Wok and we will visit again and also recommend this place.

Fusion flavours here with indo Chinese cuisine. Certainly value for money. The venue is okay and has plenty of space. Food was okay with 1 or 2 really great dishes(honey crispy and tai pai). The waiter /front desk guy was great. His service and attentiveness was good but what really stood out was his guidance through out the menu and his knowledge of the menu and the cooking of some of the dishes. As a foodie and an accomplished cool this is always good for me to know when I am questioning on the menu. Chicken lollipops were not great and neither was the sweet and sour and very odd crispy noodles with ice cream. Messy eating and just not that great a combination as it sounds. Paid parking available. Drinks a little pricey as you would expect in most restaraunts. Thanks.

We were recommended this place for its apparent info-Chinese flavored food. The food was however quite underwhelming., except for the chocolate brownie ice cream. The service was slow, the staff were very polite, but disinterested, except for one person (she seemed Eastern European) who served with a smile on her face.

This was our second visit here. One of my colleague recommended. It’s well placed, close to high street. Usually not very rush, we got seating easily. Quick service and friendly staffs. Indo-Chinese food tastes, especially chicken lollipops was good. Main courses were okay, could have been better with less soya sauce. Overall we felt starters were better than main courses.
