Bomberino

This place is great! I went with a friend and shared the veggie focaccia sandwich, and pistachio cornetto. We individually had a dirty chai with oat milk that came recommended, and really grew on me; and a cortado (also w/ oat milk). The ambience was warm and inviting, the cafe was stylish and clean. My only issue would be the size of the establishment, as it’s a bit cramped, but otherwise perfect—loved this cafe, and will be back!

Bomberino has fantastic pastries, we tried the Sfogliatella filled with ricotta and a Cornetto, both items were amazing! They also have sandwiches and other pastries. Prices are very reasonable.

Very chill spot. Small and cute with bar seating. Good for pastries, coffee, sandwiches and drinks. You can grab a coffe and study by the window or bring a date for drink at the bar.

Overall rating: 4.7 I’ve driven by this place a few times while on the bus and have been wanting to try it for awhile. I knew it had very specific hours (aka it closed at 4pm), so I was kinda expecting it to have breakfast items when I arrived on a Sunday around 11am. It’s a full-on bar which I wasn’t expecting from the outside and the hours. I ended up only ordering the Caprese panini, total $17.50. Not, not surprised of the cost BUT it’s kinda really big. I was happily surprised. I want to come back and try again to see if it’s worth the visit. It’s about a bus stop away. But it’s super cute! And it has some really fun pastries. 1. Caprese panini

Loved my lunch here last week. Great spot for coffee, the pistachio cream added is wild! Get the prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich and you got A perfect lunch

The Cortado with pistachio is so so good! The pastries were really good as well, especially the Cornetto with pistachio. I'll be coming back for sure. What a great spot to have in the neighborhood.

Solid Italian style espresso, an array of good bites to eat, and the most immaculate vibes a tiny cafe can have. Very thoughtful service from the baristas and bartenders. The only catch is that it is a little cozy, but that’s what you’re signing up for.

We celebrated my birthday at Bomberino and loved it so much that it kind of turned into a thing… we just had to celebrate my husband’s there too. 🥂✨ There’s just something about the space — the drinks, the aperitivo-style bites, the energy — that brings people together and makes any hangout feel a little extra special. With a huge plus of having such an amazing and welcoming staff. It gave us a tiny taste of Italy right here with our friends, and we couldn’t resist doing it all over again. Now it’s officially our go-to for a good time. 🍷💛

This is such a lovely neighborhood spot I've been meaning to try for a while. It has such a unique feeling to it, with the bar seating, red lighting, and Euro playlist. I tried the wildberry creamy cake at the barista's suggestion and it was a surprising treat, tart from the berries but with a luxurious pastry cream center and a flaky crust. A tad expensive ($10) but very yummy. It was a good spot to work, and their menu is so expansive with savory sandwiches, cornetti, a plethora of Italian pastries. It's the kind of place where you could go back and try something new every time, which sets it apart from a lot of the coffee shops here. Not a lot of seating, but if you go at the right time, it's wonderfully empty. The baristas were attentive as well. I think it's such a special spot in Bk.

Bomberino is a café and wine bar in one. This super cute coffee shop is on the pricey side. I paid a little over $7 for a chai latte, which felt a bit steep. The space is small, with a few seats inside, including some by the window and a few at the bar. There is also outdoor seating when the weather is nice. The vibe is cozy and stylish, but it can feel tight when it gets busy. Great spot if you are catching up with a friend or grabbing a drink to go. It is not ideal for getting laptop work done, since seating is limited and it does not have a workstation feel. Overall, worth a visit if you are in the PLG are and could go for a drink.

On the pricier side (feels like a Williamsburg establishment) however they have really fresh and delicious pastries, excellent coffee and matcha, and Amazing vibes. Really enjoyed the music and the ambiance. Staff were friendly. Its small but theres seating for about 8 inside. Only real downside is price was just on the steeper end.

Yah I would say its super cute and tiny inside w good drinks and desserts/pastries option. Hip. Focaccia too. But the price is kinda crazzy. I got a carrot cake slice, it did say mini. But wow, $2 for a walnut mini carrot cake slice, is pretty insane. Dont get me wrong tho, it was yummmmy. I had a cappuccino too, my recent fav. Delicious:)

Really cute spot for coffee and pastries. They have a nice vibe going. You can sit at the bar or front window bar. They offer wine as well, so I gotta come back and try that at night. Service was friendly and warm. Will be back!

This is a very cool addition to the PLG coffee scene. This place screams Italy: from Italian pastries, to the sweet men working behind the counter, to even the vintage tomato sauce canister. It is also airy with plants and has great vibes! I got the carrot cake square, which was pretty cheap, at 2.50. Despite being a coffee shop, they have a variety of unique pastries (not the average croissants, etc that your average coffee shop has), almost verging into bakery territory. The iced latte was strong and delicious and the carrot cake was exceptional! This is my new favorite and I will definitely be frequently going back here!

Bomberino's Too Good to Go surprise bag exceeded value, contained a manageable quantity, and presented a nice alternative to the usual French pastries. It featured a plain cornetto (I will always prefer croissants (esp. Julien's), but it was nice to try), a Sfogliatella (a new to me signifier that means small, thin leaf/layer), and two Italian filled donuts-- a Bombolone alla Nutella and one with fruit preserves, possibly raspberry. All pastries were fresh, and I was happy to liberate them. As the Too Good to Go pickup time is near the store's closing time, I didn't want to order an elaborate espresso drink, so I just tried an iced coffee (watery, bitter), which I would skip next time and instead try the Ciao Bomber signature drink--a cortado with Nutella or pistachio cream. I also plan to return for the transformation of the coffee shop into a wine bar, L'aperitivo da Bomberino. Too Good to Go has been a fun way to try new places that wouldn't have been on my radar otherwise.

Bomberino is a fabulous addition to PLG! The cafe is very inviting, and smells delicious. The staff especially Felipe was so friendly and knowledgeable about the special dishes. The cortado and iced tea were flavorful and refreshing. We shared a focaccia veggie and it was out of this world. The ingredients are fresh and high quality. I cannot wait to come back. There is indoor and outdoor seating which was great for our toddler and small pups. Bonus: the coffee grinder is an excellent toddler distraction

Love this slice of Roma. Delicious focaccia sandwiches, real espresso coffee, and scrumptious pastries (those donuts!).

I went in the other day and the barista seemed annoyed at me- along with the stares from I believe the owner. Not super welcoming not warm and friendly. Bomberino is one of those storefronts that plop themselves in neighborhoods that are hyper gentrified and then give a distinct impression they want a specific demographic in their business. This is why Black people see businesses as such and it knows that it creates a fear of violent politeness and erasure with the commercialization of pushing people out.

Bomberino is a small, quaint cafe with friendly staff. Leaving this review specifically for their cannoli. The shell was crisp and flavorful with a light chocolate coating on the inside. The cannoli cream was a perfect amount of sweetness and paired well with the hint of chocolate. It was honestly the best cannoli I ever had!

Sandos are great, coffee is on point, and you can't go wrong with the sfogliatelle. Nice counter to sit and work as well.

High quality. One of the Best espresso in brooklyn for sure. The Space is brand new and the details are impressive. Is not a simple cafe but already a brand and the guys seems pretty nice

Small coffee shop with good product but minimal options to customize your drinks (i.e. no flavored lattes and the matcha is unsweetened). Not saying this is bad but just good to know what to expect. They have your basic drink menu and I think it's still a great spot for coffee love who appreciate a bold taste. But for those of you who like a lil sum sweet you may want to try somewhere else. The service was friendly enough, nothing amazing and nothing disappointing.

Wonderful pastries, coffee is great and the service cordial and pleasant. The ambience is quaint with a neighborhood vibe.
