"For sixteen years in Anjuna, Bomras has been a reliable, season-spanning draw: Bawmra Jap’s Kachin-Mynamar roots show in tea leaf salad, tiger prawn ceviche, layered curries, and a smoked pork fried rice, while desserts like tender coconut panna cotta remain local favorites; the kitchen’s balance of freshness and depth keeps regulars returning year after year." - Karina Acharya
"A Burmese-rooted kitchen led by chef Bawmra Jap that fuses Burmese, Vietnamese and Thai influences to deliver soulful dishes like tea leaf salad, tiger prawn ceviche, Kachin chicken and smoked pork fried rice, with cocktails such as the Rangoon Sour and desserts like chocolate and carrot blondie and Manipuri black rice pudding rounding out the menu." - ByArundhati Ail
Had a wonderful experience at Bomras.
The food was exceptional. Tried the tea leaf salad with shrimp which definitely lived up to the hype. A unique blend of flavours and textures that complimented each other so beautifully. Would highly recommend.
The Fisherman's tempura was so light, fresh and crispy.
Had the Tamarind Pork for mains which was so soft juicy and flavourful and paired well with the coconut rice which was equally tasty.
They also have very unique array of cocktail choices that are pretty good.
Would definitely visit again.
The place has a warm, cozy and aesthetic ambience.
Staff are very polite and friendly.
Parking available.

Loved everything! Menu, food, service, staff, ambience - everything 10/10.
If something could be improved it would be the table wear. I’d add table mats and better plates/cutlery.

Such nice food! Their salads are the best I've eaten recently. Very unique and taste great! Very yummy vegetarian spread too. I might have enjoyed it a tad more than the seafood, despite that being delicious too! Would go again!

Really delicious food - we loved everything we had but particularly the salads (the tea leaf and the green papaya). The Burmese specialties were all great as well - the black pomfret had an amazing sauce. On top of that, the cocktails were inventive and prepared very nicely, the menu was really diverse. The setting is lush and fun. The staff were super attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend visiting.
