We enjoyed our crepes. Took a REALLY long time, I think there was an issue with some of the equipment. Overpriced too. Our crepes in France were €1-€2 euro.

Decided to check this place out because my daughters wanted crepes. We had to wait a long time for our crepes but that’s only because there were only 2 people working. Got the Classic and Florentine. Classic had a ton of Nutella and not enough fruit. The Florentine was super salty with a little kick. I think if it wasn’t that salty I would’ve enjoyed it.

The Beef Mediterranean was mouthwatering! The sesame sauce brought all the flavors together beautifully. The Parisian is also a total classic! The lemon, lime, butter, and sugar melt in your mouth. The fact that the crepe batter is made from scratch is incredible. My friends got the Cinnamon Roll, Nana’s Pie, and Campfire Crepes and couldn’t stop raving about how good they were! 10/10 for flavor and customer service! Will absolutely be back again ❤️

Sorry but I wasn’t too impressed with this overpriced crepe or the terrible customer service. It was flavourless and bland and that’s after I had to take it back and ask for the toppings which I should have to do if you know how to provide decent service. I ordered a cinnamon roll crepe and was initially served an unappealing plain crepe without toppings. Even worse it was served in a box when it wasn’t take away. I wanted to support your business but you dropped the ball on this one.

I got to try the smores and veggie crepe and it was absolutely delicious!!! The ginger juice had a perfect blend of flavors with a hint of mint! Salma was so delightful and attentive to making my experience amazing! 10/10 definitely a must try if youre in town:)

This place is amazing. The owners make you feel safe and very welcoming. Trust me you want to try their ginger drink it is to die for. Highly recommend this place to anyone in Chicago or in Boston.

Went here today for my birthday, and had a wonderful experience. We got crepes and the children got milkshakes. The owner came out to talk to us and was just an absolute pleasure to talk to. I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Chicago!

Yelp
Boy oh boy, was this disappointing. I ordered the chicken Mediterranean and s'mores crepes. For so many fresh ingredients in the savory crepe, it still boggles my mind as to how bland it was. The sweet one was better tasting, but the crispiness on some parts of the crepe (that weren't the crushed graham crackers) threw me off. Prior to eating the crepes, I saw that they offered a punch card, so I elected to get it punched. I got one punch for two crepes purchases, which added to the disappointment. Ultimately, it wasn't a big deal since I don't plan on visiting again.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place but the young lady serving me this overpriced crepe failed me. The picture you see is what I got after I returned to the counter to request that my crepe look like the one advertised instead of a boring flapjack. Forgot to get a photo before rushing it back to the counter. I mean what was she thinking? Seemed quite surprised I would want it the right way. No cream, powder or sauce was added. Who the hell pays almost $9 for something that looked so unpresentable and in a bleeding box instead of a plate?! As for taste--nothing special really considering the price. Can't say I'll return or recommend.

Yelp
Great options and helpful service. Ordered food for 40 people for an office breakfast - was the most talked about breakfast all year. People gobbled up both the savory and sweet ones. Loved the campfire, early bird, and very veggie vegan options.

Yelp
TLDR: If you're short on time, this isn't your place My sister and I stopped by the French Market for a coffee around 10:30 am on a Wednesday and were disappointed to see that many shops didn't open til 11! Thankfully, Bon Appetit Creperie was open--but they didn't have coffee. (Dammit. Just my luck!) Well, it would've been rude to walk away from a Creperie without getting a crepe so we ordered The Parisian and the Bee. The ladies behind the counter looked extremely busy and even a little overwhelmed. They told us our order would "take a little time" bc they were working on previously placed online orders. It took about 15 - 20 min for our order to be ready; luckily we didn't have anywhere to be. The crepe itself had a nice chewy texture but the flavors were kind of lacking. I usually like a nice simple crepe with just lemon, butter, and powdered sugar, which is why I chose the Parisian, but the crepe I got didn't have enough of any of the toppings--which made it pretty bland. My sister seemed to like her Bee, so I'm definitely willing to give this place another try if the opportunity arose. But, IMO, the Crepe Shop in Lakeview East offers better crepes.

Yelp
A friend and I stopped by Bon Appetit Creperie for a quick lunch. They seemed to be a little overwhelmed and could have used another worker. I ordered the brie crepe which was a little heavy handed on the walnuts and a little to light with the brie and jam, so it wasn't terribly enjoyable. My friend got the caprese crepe and felt like hers was also just okay. For the price, I'm not sure my experience was worth it. While the staff was doing their best, I didn't feel it was a great value and likely will not return.

Yelp
Great place for crepes! We were a big group, so I did get the chance to try different ones. First of all, everything is made in house and from scratch, from the fresh mushrooms to the meats. I had the Florentine crepes. Yes, the chicken spices didn't match, as the previous yelper said, but I talked to the owners about that and they are changing the chicken spices for that. Highly recommend the salmon crepe (forgot the name). I also tried the Nana's crepe (the apple pie one) and it was delicious. Just the plain crepe on its own can be eaten and it very good. I'll end with how amazing the hibiscus juice/tea was. I can't wait to come back in the summer and drink it. It was the best I've ever had.

Yelp
This is one of my go to lunch spots when I go to the office. The crepes are delicious and feeling indulgent I'll go for both a savory and a sweet option. I've had plenty of crepes in France (including on numerous trips to Paris) and find these to be one of the options closest in quality/taste in Chicago. The staff are also very friendly and kind. Definitely my favorite spot in the French Market.

Yelp
This was my go to place for awesome crepes before the pandemic. So I had to go back yesterday and order one. First of all the menu changed which I disappointed to see because I knew exactly what I wanted. Oh well. So I ordered a crepe with strawberries and bananas. What I got after paying almost $10 was a flat pancake with very little fruit and no cream. I was so disappointed and I will not be back again.

Yelp
Rude staff, said it opened on Apple Maps at 8am, commuted all the way down there to be told rudely that they open at 9am. Keeping your hours updated is important.

Allison K.

Yelp
Staff was nice but they were out of a variety of things on the menu and I was told it was normal because management doesn't buy them.

Katherine S.

Yelp
Absolutely loved the crepes and the service, and friendliness from staff, was wonderful! When we return to Chicago we will definitely come back for more of the same! Thank you Bon Appetit! (We were able to park, order, eat and get back to our car in plenty of time to take advantage of the free parking for under 1 hour on a Thursday morning...)

Yelp
I am a critically acclaimed food reviewer. these officially win best crepes in Chicago, I've been to dozens of crepes shops in chicago and this is the best. I come every week to get my fI'll of crepes. try the gobble gobble crepe, the classic or the sea master... those are my favorite if you want I life- eat here

Yelp
My son and I love this place! The owner is very kind and friendly, and the crepes and waffles are so delicious! I love the gluten-free crepe and waffle options. Thank you!

Yelp
Visited Chicago for the first time from North Carolina and checked out this crêperie downtown. The owner, Salma, was a gem and super nice and professional about everything. I got the NaNa's crepe and a waffle and it was delicioussssssssss! Absolutely to die for! The softest, nicest, crepes and waffles I've ever had. Will definitely come back whenever I'm back in Chi-town!

Yelp
The SOFT WAFFLE with butter, maple syrup, powdered sugar, and whipped cream is a mind blower. One of us ordered it, we all tasted it, and then we all talked about it for ten minutes.
