BON BANH MI Southeast Asian Kitchen

Can’t say enough great things about this spot! Such a gem. Everyone is so friendly, the food is authentic and flavorful, and the service is quick! I am a big foodie and a picky eater, so trust me when I say, this is some of my favorite food in Charleston! Depending on my mood, I’ll order Banh Mi’s, Tacos, Bowls, or any of their specials!

Great prices, friendly staff, and amazing food. Our meal came out quick, and we absolutely loved it. Great NA drink choices, as well as a fantastic menu. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for something different to spice up the week.

This was our first time here. We had the Five Spice Ground Pork in Drunken Noodles and two tacos: Red Curry Beef and Tamarind Shrimp. Both were very tasty. Stop and enjoy. You won’t be disappointed.

I can’t say enough good things about the service staff and the food! I have never felt more taken care of- when I walked in they explained the menu to me throughly and offered samples of some of their house brewed drinks. We ordered the Bun Cold Noodle Salad which is one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes, summer rolls and the fried Brussels which might take the lead on my favorites here in the Charleston area. I ordered a sour beer but wasn’t sure if it had pineapple in it (I’m allergic) so not only did they look it up online, they CALLED the brewery to ask. Talk about above and beyond service I have never experienced anywhere else. I WISH there was a location in West Ashley but for now I will happily visit any time I’m over the bridge. Truly 5 stars!

First time trying this location, usually go to the other one and this place was just as good if not better! Some of the best service I’ve had, everyone was super friendly and attentive. The food came out quick with an amazing visual presentation. I tried the cold noodle salad and my fiancé got our usual the duck fried rice with an egg on top. Everything was so tasty and topped it off with their semi sweet jasmine tea. Will always eat here whenever I’m in the area! Cute indoor/outdoor dining and a large variation of hot sauces to try!

See this picture... this picture right here!? That's their FIVE SPICE GROUND PORK bowl and it's amazing!!! Don't get me wrong, I'm sure all their stuff is great, as is their staff, but this meal... this meal right here... that's what I'm talking 'bout!!! Damn, it's good!!! Think I'm wrong!? I’ve been looking for some authentic phenomenal Vietnamese food since returning from Hawaii, and this place is absolutely stellar. The service was fantastic, super charming people behind the bar, the food was savory, hot and the flavor is still with me. I will definitely be making it a regular thing✨

I stopped in and got a Vietnamese iced coffee (delicious!) and a ginger lemongrass chicken bahn mi. The service was outstanding- such friendly staff! The sandwich had great flavor (try the yellow sriracha they recommend) though the bottom was somewhat soggy it didn't matter- I ate the whole thing. Delicious!
