From hot dogs and vodka shots to fancy cocktails that rival Durkin's and The Peacock Lounge at the Davenport, this place has it all. And the prices seriously can't be beat. They have a small but well done menu, and since they are attached to the Garland Theater they get all of the leftover popcorn! (Kidding it's fresh popcorn). They have trivia on Mondays too! Love this place, it's our go-to for cocktails and free popcorn.

Google
There is no longer any food at Bon Bon, but the cocktails are delicious, and the service is superb. This is a small place with a great atmosphere. Try the bourbon Old Fashioned...delightful.

Free movie theater popcorn HELL YEAH!! WAS FUN. The drinks were off the hook! I got the Tink Tink, it's with gin and lemon delicious.Go for the cocktails!!

Google
Truly my favorite bar in all of Spokane. The lighting, the movie theater vibes, the Old Fashioneds ✌🏻 Their food menu is delightful and unexpected, though more on the heavy snack end of things. Over the years the bartenders may have changed but the come-as-you-are bohemian open-doorsiness remains. Divey yet classy, classic yet unique: give it a try and get ready for an intimate, artsy and delightful experience of Spokane!!

Google
This place was amazing, came on a whim. The environment was 10/10. We were served endless popcorn 🍿 but the driving point that enhanced our experience was the bar tender. The drink knowledge and sense of humor was top notch. Bald bartender with a solid beard for the win

Google
What a great find! Took my Girlfriend out for a drink, this place was awesome great food a great drinks. Daniel was our bartender and he has a passion for what he does that and you could taste that in his drinks and his sincerity in conversation. Will definitely be returning. BTW pretzel bites and cheese sauce were on point.

Google
Service was more excellent than it’s usual excellence, this is our favorite bar in Spokane. Bon bon has amazing cocktails, we even forgot one of our phones there and the bartender waited for us to retrieve it and kept it safe. Thank you so much for being an amazing part of Spokane!

Cute little bar with excellent service and drinks. Our server was attentive and friendly. I'm certainly going back!

Yelp
Quaint little loves in the Garland Theatre where so many of us grew up. It is so cool to see this place come to life. Especially since I was born and raised in this town and when things grow, we notice. Cocktails at bon bon was nostalgic and I had never been here before. Having popcorn with our little girls night group was so cute. We didn't see a movie but what a cool spot to just hangout anyways! We all ordered different drinks that were definitely craft cocktails and I love that for us. I ordered the queen bee and some shots because this small bar gave me all the Friday Night Vibes. There were four of us and we all enjoyed ourselves after sushi at Midori across the street.

Yelp
I love Bon Bon! Little hole in the wall bar. It is connected to the garland theater, so it is a great option if you are seeing a movie but want to grab dinner or a drink. They also have Trivia and bingo nights too. Very reasonable prices. For food, I have the black bean sliders are to die for! Even if you don't think you will like a black bean patty, this will change your mind. The bacon Mac n cheese is also a must have. They also have some of the best nachos in Spokane! Order some cheese on the side for an extra treat! The Scooby snacks are mini corn dogs....and are delicious. The pretzel bites are perfection as well. With such a small menu, I have been able to try the majority of items!

Yelp
This is a small bar located in the Garland Theater that I may have missed entirely if not for being directed to it by friends. The inside is cozy, but it gets crowded, so we opted for the outside area. We weren't sure if we were supposed to order at the bar, but we quickly learned that table service extends outside - and it is fantastic service! The bartender/server that attended to us was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Even though she was busy, she made us feel valued as customers. The drinks are delicious and poured fairly well. They are on the pricier side (for Spokane), but the quality, setting, and service makes up for it. Plus, there is a happy hour after 10. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Did you know that a man named Serge Voronoff once implanted pieces of chimpanzee testicles onto the scrotum of human males in order to increase sexual sustainability? Well you do now. I know this because every drink at Bon-Bon has a story behind it. And my favorite drink there is called the Monkey Gland. Named for the crazy scientist's favorite procedure, It's a delicious blend of orange juice, gin and grenadine served in a glass washed with absinthe. It's topped with a brandy-soaked cherry and is the best drink in Spokane. Not only does the drink come with a story, but the juice is freshly squeezed on the spot by some of Spokane's best (and - I'll say it - most beautiful) bartenders. Crystal and Kelli seriously know how to make a drink. And they do it so well, that I find myself perched at this lost-in-time bar at least once a week. Yeah, I have a problem. I actually have 99 problems. But a drink ain't one. So come meet me at Bon-Bon. If my monkey gland has anything to say about it, you certainly won't be disappointed. Sadly, the drink doesn't last as long as the good doctor would hope. But hey, that's why I usually do it four times in a row. Bartender! Another drink please!

Yelp
Bon Bon is a total craft cocktail gem of the Garland District! I enjoy the attention to detail here (like charming artsy patio furniture and a unique menu). I always feel free to try something new and different when I'm at Bon Bon. Some neighborhood bars are special because they are located near your home, and others, like Bon Bon are special in their immediate context, and also in the whole of Spokane. I would definitely recommend bookmarking this place if you haven't ever visited regardless of where you live in town. Prices are medium/high for Spokane drinks, but the quality is totally there and I always learn something new or discover a new ingredient. I also generally want to try a few different things so that might account for the tab being higher! I would recommend Bon Bon for a stop on a date night or girls night!

Yelp
This is one of my favorite bars in Spokane. Has a classic ambience and delicious drinks. Happy hour all day Sunday with strong cocktails! They've also added trivia on Monday Nights!

Yelp
Easy access, delicious cocktails, great service, free movie popcorn, not overpriced, and cool ambiance.

Yelp
We went into this place because of the reviews - classic cocktails, awesome, I have always had a penchant for the classics. Bartender asks us what we would like so we asked to see a cocktail menu - she sighs and walks over to a table and takes two menus away from a group of 6 who were like -WTF. Then she presented to us two stained and torn paper menus and we started to peruse the list. Nothing there I like so I asked for a First Avenue created in NY in the 1800's. They never heard of it and asked what was in it, I told them and they said we don't carry that liqueur. "Fine" I said let's move to something in the 1900's "How about a Fog Cutter?" I ask(It was invented in the 1940's). Never heard of that either, what's in it they ask again - frustrated I goggled it on my phone since there appears to be no bartenders guide in this place. Once I found a recipe I showed them it and they said: "Sorry can't make that we don't have Orgeat syrup". HUH - When I bartended at TGIF in the late 80's they even had Orgeat syrup, it's used in lots of classic cocktails. Ok this is getting ridiculous, so let me just order a simple drink, they are trying to be a classic cocktail house I'll order the favorite of Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, a dubonnet and gin. Sorry sir we don't carry dubonnet . . . . . (sigh) Kudos for them for being nice and trying and especially for using fresh squeezed juice in the drinks but they seriously need to expand their selection of alcohol and ingredients if they wish to make classic cocktails rather than just a few standards.

Yelp
THE NEWLY OPENED VINTAGE COCKTAIL BAR at the Garland Theater is called BON BON, and it's tag-line boasts "tasty drinks and delicious treats." This mini-bar is nestled in the west side of the historic theater with the distinct re-purposed signature-style of developer/artist Dan Spalding. Think of BON BON as a concession stand for adults with a well appointed bar menu of classic cocktails with a contemporary twist. Fun film reel cocktail tables and a movie set-styled light fixture make this another creative addition in the Garland neighborhood. You can stop by for a drink or a bite thanks to an outsourcing deal with the Rocket Market and Sante'. (a smart move). Brooklynd Johnson, whose business card reads Keeper of the Bar, says BON BON will keep the spotlight on cocktails but plans for the bar to evolve and she may change things up a bit. The hours are flexible as well; if customers are there, BON BON will stay open until 1a.m. The bar has a few beers on tap assortment red and white wine that will be switched out periodically. Keeping the former soda fountain feel, there are glass jars filled with old-time candy cigarettes, gumballs and Pez. The retro cool bar has already received a warm welcome from the neighborhood.

Yelp
I went to Bon Bon during happy hour and their classic cocktails are delicious. I strayed from my regular drink (a Manhattan) and went for the whiskey sour. It was perfectly balanced. My friend ordered an Old Fashioned and it, too, was delicious. The vibe was great and the bartender was friendly. My only hesitation comes from the regular menu. I have, admittedly, not ordered from this menu but I was put off by the prices. I'm perfectly fine paying up to $14 for a cocktail because I did so nearly every evening when I lived in San Francisco. The difference is that my $14 cocktails were ordered at The Ritz-Carlton or The St. Regis Hotels, or Hakkasan (or a number of speakeasy-type places). One of the very few venues that pushed past the $14 ceiling was the Mandarin Oriental where drinks reach $16. Given the general price of San Francisco (where a studio costs $1,850/month) and matched by the fact that the top bars generally max out at $14/cocktail, I am surprised that $14 drinks are popping up in Spokane. During our visit, I saw people with bowls of popcorn but we weren't offered any of the buttery goodness. If the popcorn is complimentary, then it goes without saying that it's a shame we didn't receive some for ourselves. If the popcorn needs to be ordered, then I'm especially disappointed because every bar with those prices offers free snacks for nibbling. Lastly, to be certain, I know that the SF places I listed generally feature upscale settings but I'm not conflating "upscale" with "quality cocktail". My favorite drink in SF, the Black Ships cocktail from the St. Regis, uses a $67 bottle of Yamazaki 12-Yr Single Malt Whiskey. Meanwhile, Hakkasan uses a smoking gun to infuse their negroni and their Margarita uses a house-infused (with Bird's Eye Pepper) $50 bottle of mezcal. All that said, Bon Bon genuinely has delicious drinks. Maybe they're worth the price. Unfortunately, I can only find their happy hour menu online so it's impossible for me to delve into their regular menu.

Yelp
The drinks were OK. The bartender was spaced out and took forever to answer any questions, maybe high? She was talking to her friend most of the time. A very strange mix of people. Cute place but nothing special.
google avatar

Yelp
We always go get a drink here before a show at The Garland. Friendly staff with delicious drinks! Food is isn't amazing but we still love coming here. Super tiny space though - make sure to get there early before a show! The outdoor patio is nice during summer. And if it's your birthday - ask for a free tiki birthday drink!! I didn't even know they did that until my birthday this year!!

Yelp
I visited Bon Bon recently after a friend had talked it up quite a bit as a really cool place to go for a great cocktail. He decided to take me out for a congratulatory drink (I just finished my Master's degree). The place was empty when we came in, save for a few people. The bartender was friendly and had great suggestions for cocktails. Our first round was pretty good. However, this was not the case for the second round. I ordered a simple drink that I order everywhere, and have never had a problem with the recipe. When I received the drink at Bon Bon, it tasted overly sweet and had a strange color to it. I tried to sip it for a bit, but couldn't stomach it and told the bartender that I really disliked the drink. She responded that this was the house recipe and she made it exactly right, so I would have to pay for it anyway, and if I wanted another drink I could order one, but I would pay for both. The interaction was strange, and rather rude. I turned and went back to my table with the drink in hand. When my friend returned from the bathroom, I told him what was said and he was rather irritated, but we all continued talking and joking around while I drank water. Then the bartender came over to our table (where all of my friends were seated), and proceeded to tell the entire table how my drink was prepared correctly, that she couldn't just make a new one, and we'd have to pay for that drink and any new drinks. My friends just sat there in disbelief. Why would she feel the need to repeat herself, this time in front of my friends? To embarrass me? To prove she was right and I was wrong? I have no idea. In any case, it was rude and uncalled for. I won't be returning to Bon Bon any time soon, and I hope, for any of your sake, this policy will be changed.

Yelp
I love Bon Bon! It's so cute and fun. The drinks are very unique and delicious with a 1920s inspiration. Love the tables... old movie reels from The Garland Theater! Cute old fashion containers of candy serve as decor. Bartenders are knowledgeable, friendly and make tasty drinks. Also, if their signature cocktails don't appeal to you; they serve beer as well. I appreciate that all "types" of people and ages are welcome Also, they serve popcorn from the Garland. Yummm! Nothing bad to say about Bon Bon! This bar is must do in Spokane! Also, I love to seeing the Garland District develop a fun and unique night life

Yelp
This lovely place is joined to the movie theater. When we got there, we looked through the window, the three people inside were older, like a full head of white hair kind of older. My friends wanted to bail and we were already deciding how we were going to the next place until someone suggested we check it out since we were already there. This place is small, the drinks are cheap, and hey! they have seasonal ales. The apple cider was yummy. Even though our group couldn't fit at one table and we had to split up--some on the bar and some at a table, we had a good time. I'd definitely come back, it's chill and low key, and best of all cheap! Parking is tough. One friend parked at the shady teriyaki place across the street and another parked 2 blocks away...an eternity away when I had to walk in heels.
google avatar

Erin M.

Yelp
We were looking for a small bar where we could just chill and chat. We were so happy with Bon Bon! We walked in and it was pretty busy but the bartender made sure to greet us right away. The cocktail selection was really superb! Great old school craft creations that are perfect for all palettes! I was particularly impressed with the peach smash and the waltzing Matilda. Both just a bit sweet and tart at the same time. Perfect. One of the best parts was the bartender Santos. He was super knowledgable and takes a lot of pride in his creations... Plus he was fun to talk to! Go. It's a fun night. Great for a date or a late-night nightcap!
google avatar

Alyssa A.

Yelp
The classic cocktails this establishment offers are the best in town. They run on the less-sweet side and I really appreciate that. Plus, I love coming here to sit on the eclectic mix of out door furniture in the summer and enjoying a beverage as the sun sets. This spot gets very crowded and loud on the weekends. Also, sometimes it takes awhile for your drinks to get to you. This isn't a good spot to drop in for a quick drink but it's perfect for that leisurely evening with friends where you want to stay and sip and enjoy.
google avatar

Jason N.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere (though a little dead the night we were there). The place was understaffed, but the bartender/owner was nice and very knowledgeable about vintage drink recipes. Despite the high concept (prohibition-era vintage cocktails with a 20's movie theme), this place comes across as welcoming rather than pretentious. All of the juice is squeezed to order, and the drinks I had were full of flavor and made of high-quality liquor. If you're used to well drinks at a cheap pub, you'll be surprised at the difference in flavor. Some might even think the drinks are mixed wrong for this reason. Overall, nice experience. They even had a mellow DJ, nice addition to a mellow little bar.
google avatar

Jake Q.

Yelp
The best experience I've had in a bar in Spokane. The bartender is as knowledgeable as she is passionate about creating interesting and satisfying drinks. The pricing is insanely reasonable--the cocktails would easily cost double the rates in a major city. Incredible value.
google avatar

Becky B.

Yelp
After my first visit to Bon Bon I am not sure if I will ever go back. Upon entering.... We were acknowledged a nasty sneer..... We took our seats and ordered our drinks. It took FOREVER to get our beers, which were in cans, no mixing required. The bartender has no customer service skills at all. We waited a very long time before she ever came back to see how we were doing. We asked for our bill. I am not sure what the rave is about this place, but it certainly can not be this bartender. Very disappointed. The look in this picture is the most pleasant look I saw on her face the whole time.
google avatar

Tammy H.

Yelp
Wish they had more than one choice for Chardonnay, bar should have been cleaned up before opening looks very unorganized just not prepped or ready for a Friday night. Been here once before and the bartender was pretty awesome this time around the person behind the bar could have cared less...on the upside the wine they did have was cheap and tasted pretty good
google avatar

Kaitlyn B.

Yelp
Ok service, the bartenders come across very stuck up, cocktails are below par and they let dogs sit outside in 97 degree weather without out serving them water. Shame on the dogs' owners and shame on the bartenders for letting that happen.

Flasha M.

Yelp
Walked in on my headphones talking to a friend , it is 2019!! Bartender walks right up ! What can I get u, I said I'm in the phone give me a second, finally comes back makes me a drink , gives me popcorn, no napkin?? I dunno it's still the same ole same ole. Stop texting, pay attention to ur 4 patrons!

Yelp
This is an incredibly fun bar adjacent to the Garland Theater. It's small and cozy with fun atmosphere. All you can eat popcorn and a fun drink menu. Service was friendly and attentive.
google avatar

Tobe H.

Yelp
The drinks are truly amazing works of art. The cocktails look fantastic, taste great, and are fun to watch being made. The only downside to Bon Bon is the steep price, high demand, and small space. However, the drinks are worth the high cost because they are of high quality. It may take awhile to get your drink because they demand prep time. Lots of drinks being ordered too. The space is cozy, but friendly.
google avatar

Rachel W.

Yelp
Such WONDERFUL cocktails! They are different every time you go in (but you can always order a cocktail from a previous menu if you find yourself rather taken). It's a small, intimate spot with a funky atmosphere. The movie popcorn just adds to the fun and unique atmosphere of the the place! Love. Love. Love Bon Bon!
google avatar

Shawni L.

Yelp
I always have fun when I go to this bar. It's very small but packed with personality. The drinks are hand crafted with top shelf ingredients and the bartender knows his craft! They also had the best bar food I've ever eaten! The pulled pork sandwich is so awesome that I go there just for the good.
google avatar

Megan H.

Yelp
Consider going there as a destination, not just because you are going to a movie at the Garland. Time it so you go in after the movie has started, and you can get a seat. The drinks are fun and incentive, and the food is the same! Great vibe!
google avatar

Jason K.

Yelp
Good drinks, and good service. It can get very busy down here in the late evenings and there is very limited seating for groups. They specialize in craft cocktails, you know the hand squeezed juice type... drink prices are 8-13 for those signature drinks. Usually there are draft beer specials for 3$. Would check this out if you are in the garland area!
google avatar

Royal S.

Yelp
Great drinks and service everytime. Great spot in garland. Not to be missed if you want a good cocktail.
google avatar

Jesse W.

Yelp
Great food!! Never heard good feedback from friends decided to try for myself, and I was very impressed. Nice atmosphere nice bartender reasonably priced drinks. And did I mention you can bring your beer into the attached theater!!!
google avatar

Nicole B.

Yelp
The pulled pork sandwiches are to die for. Bring your own wet wipes to wash your hands with when you are done because these bad boys get all over the place. The pretzel bun perfectly compliments the savory nature of the pulled pork. If you like spicy food, go for the spicy pulled pork. It'll delight your tastebuds. You also get free popcorn with the food!!
google avatar

sarah m.

Yelp
I love this place. The cocktails are delicious, and I promise you will find one you've never tried before. The bartenders love to experiment, so try it out and tip well!
google avatar

Kassy O.

Yelp
Awesome signature drinks, friendly staff, and free popcorn! All set in an attached area to the Garland theatre. The atmosphere always makes me want an old fashion.
google avatar

Yelp
Bon Bon is one of the best things that has happened to Spokane in a long time. A bar that specializes in vintage cocktails, Bon Bon is a drinking mecca for the connoisseur, the quirky, and the trendy. The bar tenders are engaging and entertaining. The drinks are unique and the ambiance adorable. Go to Bon Bon. Seriously!
google avatar

Lisa-Mae B.

Yelp
What's not to love? Make sure you get The Porky's or the Porky's Revenge sandwich. You will not be disappointed
google avatar

Zearl W.

Yelp
I stopped in for a quick drink and was pleasantly surprised with the old fashioned I was served. The ambiance was great as well.
google avatar

Dani T.

Yelp
Love this place. Best cocktails in town, but you definitely want to order two at a time because by the time you're done with your first drink, your second one will finally arrive. That's not in a bad way; these bartender take a lot of pride and preparation in your drinks and it's definitely worth waiting for. If there is a drink they have never heard of, they will look it up as long as it's a classic cocktail. I like to go here mostly after I've seen a movie at the Garland.
google avatar

Todd B.

Yelp
Fantastic bar worthy of being in the most metropolitan area's of the world. It is a must see if you are in Spokane and love a great cocktail.

Jenny S.

Yelp
*LOVE* Bon Bon!!! I have been twice now and can't wait to return!! The best drinks Spokane has to offer, hands down. Bartenders are knowledgeable, skilled and well trained. They build each drink from scratch and don't rush through so each drink is as good as the previous one! So nice that Spokane has a unique, quaint little gem like this:) And I love the old movie reel decor-such a great idea!!! If you are visiting Spokane, give Bon Bon a whirl! You won't be disappointed!
google avatar

Scott T.

Yelp
Passionate approach to craft of mixin' drinks was found here, let me taste individual ingredients, lots of house made goodies (IPA liquor anyone?) Thanks for a nice evening!

Thomas M.

Yelp
We used to go here all the time. The prices are reasonable (especially during happy hour , the drinks are interesting, and the popcorn is free. So why am I giving it only two stars? The service is truly awful. The place is the size of a closet with a small patio in front, but somehow they still manage to ignore you. Just a tip: there is a mirror in the bathroom, so if you start getting panicky, you can go and make sure people can still see you. We sat on the patio for twenty minutes without being acknowledged. When the waiter finally came out he plopped the menus down without even a hello. When our friends joined us, they got the same treatment. I think management might want to have their bartenders watch some Cheers reruns (post Shelly Long, I'm not a monster). As we sat enjoying our delicious drinks and free popcorn, we decided to never come back.

Patti P.

Yelp
What a huge disappointment! I read the reviews and really thought it was going to be terrific! We went last weekend (no holiday, no perks, etc.) to test it's viability when our traffic arrives from the West Side. It was not only overrated in quality, but the service was clear: If the bartender was horny:game on. We unfortunately must have just missed her 'fertility in action' meter that she and her significant other were hitting..constantly and in front of us...because our 3 Manhattans came back with 2 scotches and a whiskey with a cherry. Focus much? No thanks!

Jazzy B.

Yelp
Great cocktails! Cool vibe and interesting decor. Service is ok. Go with good company and you won't be disappointed.

Elle L.

Yelp
Lovely people, great drinks, if you get there early it's a nice place to talk, great happy hour, and the black bean sliders are to die for. I miss the mac and cheese, but I can overlook that for such a great bar. They use incredible brandied cherries (not the toxic red stuff) which is a great plus for me. Support this place!

Sophie D.

Yelp
The cocktail was excellent. The bearded friendly bartender even switched out the gin for vodka. But the chicken strips were dry and overcooked. Could not even cut them after I got a knife. I have to try them again, because the theatre nextdoors is fabulous.

Ken H.

Yelp
I would give Bon Bon 6 stars, if I could. Amazing cocktails, carefully and artfully made. The bartenders are fun, friendly and entertaining. The atmosphere is cozy and cool, with an artsy edge. Love the place!

Amy M.

Yelp
Watching them mix drinks is like watching someone create liquid art. That you can consume instead of look at. Most of the bartenders are friendly but they are all knowledgeable. Wish it was bigger but such is life.

Collin L.

Yelp
great drink menu. they are always mixing it up with a different list of classics and variations on classics. its refreshing to find a place like this.
