Bon Fresco

Recently had the Picante Chicken Sandwich at the Columbia location and absolutely loved it, so I ordered again with high expectations. This time, I added green salad and mustard through the extra option, but unfortunately it was way too much. The bun was completely soaked, and all I could taste was overpowering mustard. I won’t be ordering it again with extra sauce or maybe not at all.

The Customer Service here is by far the best I’ve seen especially in the Baltimore city, the lady working the cash register is super nice and I came there yesterday and purchased five London brew sandwiches and forgot my credit card, I called the following day and she had it saved and ready and expecting for my call, I came in. She had it ready in a bag and was super nice. I can’t wait to go back get some food and say hi to her again. I’ll get your name next time But I hope you get this review thank you so much !!!!

I’ve ordered salad today online and I’ve pick up from the restaurant. My Mediterranean salad should have chickpeas , lentils and red pepper but my salad only had chickpeas. I’ve asked to lady who works there she said that online menu must be wrong. I cannot believe how nobody noticed that. She brought same roasted paper but still this salad 2/10. I wouldn’t recommend anyone who wants to eat good salad. Adding picture of my salad. Very below of my expectations.

Hellooo!! Visiting from miami beach for a few days. Just wanted a coffee and bon fresco popped in google. I had a cappuccino in the lobby of the building where this cafe is located. Nice coffee, nice barista too...

Espresso macciato - only available in paper cup - no ceramic available. That really takes away from experience of an espresso drink... Espresso was a bit sour. Workmanlike foam.

Great coffee shop. Friendly staff. Love the entire menu - I've had it all. Fantastic scones and muffins for breakfast. Every sandwich and salad they have for lunch are worth a try. They have a "picante" option for sandwiches that adds spicy roast veggies. I do wish they had soup, but you have lots of great menu options.

Went here for something to eat after a long night of partying. Randomly chose the Herb chicken sandwich and I was not disappointed at all. I actually ate the whole thing,I never finish all my food,the only thing I don't like is they're cashless,I'm a waiter and I usually don't have money in my account unless I'm paying bills. Other than that I know where to get a great sandwich, can't wait to try the rest.

The sandwiches were delicious. I had the grilled chicken avocado club and there was plenty of chicken and exorbitant amount of avocado and overall great taste and flavor. My wife had the London broil. It was cut nice and thin the way my wife likes it. The only disappointment Was that it was on a Kaiser roll not a ciabatta bun. But overall great experience. the ladies at the counter were super nice.

The jelly they put in the breakfast sandwiches is pretty great! Clean establishment too.

I stopped in for a breakfast sandwich and coffee. I paid for both items. As I went to my vehicle to eat my food, I saw an uncooked egg. The egg wasn't thoroughly cooked (I do NOT eat raw food). The sandwich had some kind of red sauce on it too. When I brought back the uncooked sandwich, the cashier had no problem in fixing a new sandwich to my specifications, however, the cashier said $6.00. Overall, she told me I had to pay, again for a sandwich. What!!! I have never heard of having to repay for a sandwich that was under cooked with red sauce on it. Due to giving me raw food with some red sauce on a breakfast sandwich then saying I have to pay again for the restaurant to fix my sandwich, I do not recommend this restaurant. Horrible!

First time here. Ordered a simple bacon and egg sandwich on a croissant? It was absolutely disgusting because it was swimming in oil. The nastiest, greasiest bacon and egg sandwich I have ever ate.

0 for ambiance - Stacks of boxes + other things that should've been in the storage are just outside seen by everybody. Empty pastry shelves. Smell of old grease and frying from the kitchen filled the space. Not the cafe you would want to sit, work and enjoy your morning. 1 for cleanliness - For a cafe that is not busy, you would think they'd have the time to keep the space spotless and clean. Tables and floors not the cleanest. Please schedule a deep cleaning! 2 for pastries and 2 for the sandwich - Didn't buy coffee/drinks, pastries were tasty and fresh. Pork sausage in the breakfast sandwich sadly tasted nasty, we couldn't eat it at all. The ciabatta and red pepper jelly tasted good.

This is a solid breakfast/lunch option for anyone in the Inner Harbor. Since COVID began, they don't permit indoor seating so you need to order ahead of time and takeout. The Picante Chicken, London Broil and Bacon & Egg sandwiches were always my go-to orders. They all came on a fresh Ciabatta roll and the sandwiches were always toasted before being sent off. The Bacon & Egg was particularly good, always fresh and it came with a really nice pepper jelly that was just the right amount of spicy. Their pastries are pretty good too, particularly the Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookie and Blueberry Almond Muffin.

Cute new coffee, sandwich shop close to downtown. It's easy to miss. Located in a office building but does have outside access. My coworker's husband works in the building, gave high praise and told us to try it out. Order at a counter, take a number, they'll deliver to your table. The sandwiches are huge! The bread is delicious! Tomato Mozzarella Sandwich was very good. Came on a cold day so along with the sandwich, we both ordered Tomato Soup. We really loved the soup. It's on the sweet side. Both my coworker and I love sweet, worked for us. The day we came was extremely crowded but the tables turn over quickly. I love new spots in Baltimore and this one did not disappoint!

I stopped in for a second time today and had a much better experience than my last visit. A huge improvement! I had the Turkey Avocado Club in this visit and it was excellent. Very fresh and great flavor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was a little upset that they didn't except cash, but that's becoming more common. I also had a latte to go and it was equally excellent. If this quality continues, I will be back.

Everywhere else had a wait to we stopped in for a quick breakfast. Delicious. Steak sammich on a chibatta bun. Quick and outstanding.

The iced coffee at Bon Fresco is honestly delicious - it's one of my favorite iced coffees in Baltimore. I've had the muffins there a few times and they are always super moist and taste great. The staff has also always been super friendly, so no complaints there! One thing...I ordered the bacon egg & cheese sandwich on a whim (without looking at the menu). Once I got home and opened it up, I realized it had red pepper jelly all over it. If there is one food or flavor I can't stomach, it is red pepper. I did try it with the jelly but just couldn't do it so I had to throw it away unfortunately. I wish I had known that it came with that because most bacon egg & cheese sandwiches do not come with something like that on it. I will come back for the coffee for sure and maybe stick to muffins from now on - lol.

The worst - inconsistent in hours & service; the cashier is always rude & on her cell surfing & appears you are a bother when asking a question.. I feel like there is some discrimination going on here... the food is not the best at all... unpleasant and stay away!

I had read about this place opening a Baltimore location recently so I walked down to check it out. The space is clean, and bright, with the system of the orders on numbers that you place on your table and someone comes out and finds you at your seat. I ordered the London broil and took it back to my desk. Maaaan this sandwich is good. The flavors all work well together, from the cheese to the steak to the onions to the dijonaise. It's like a party in my gullet. But the real champ here is the bread. The ciabatta is a perfect balance of warm bread that crispy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. I was literally smiling when I took bites. This bread would elevate an average sandwich, much less a great one. People should come here. Eat these sandwiches. And say hi to Graeme, my namesake.

If I could give zero stars I would. Received the order incorrect and missing just about everything else I asked for. Is anyone checking the order tickets?

Found this place and decided to give it a try. The servers were really sweet and helpful. I could tell they wanted me to have a good experience. I came when it wasn't busy, and they patiently answered all my questions and gave me samples of soups I wanted to try. They told me I came on their first official opening day. I ordered the curry chicken salad sandwich. It's a little sweet and not spicy, but it's still delicious. The ciabatta they use is amazing! It's probably some of the best ciabatta I've ever had. I can't get over it lol... I'd say the service was 5/5. The food was 4/5. The chicken salad was the only thing in the sandwich. I wished they put the chicken salad on some lettuce and added some onion or tomato, but if I come back I'll ask for those additions.

UPDATE: I was mistaken about what sauce was being served on my sandwich. It was the dijonnaise. The pepper jelly is fine. I could take it or leave it. The dijonnaise is the divine substance that will take your tastebuds to another plane of existence (and it pairs really nicely with the sausage).

Saw the new coffee spot in the building and thought I would try it out. I haven't tried any of the food, but the coffee is good and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly. I've been here three times in last month and it's been consistent. The establishment is also very clean.

Once again not good. The order I placed was not what I got on sides. Basic order they couldn't get right. Plus the attitude I received when I walked in 5 mins before they closed. I have been to another Bon Fresco and they theme at both is the same. Save your money go to cvs or whatever and get snacks

This place is amazing! Got to try a couple of their sandwiches on their soft opening - the London broil and curry chicken salad are fantastic! I can't say enough about the bread; it was hands down the best bread I've had in Baltimore. The menu looks great with a lot of options to keep things interesting. I will definitely be a repeat customer!
