"A Vietnamese fast-casual restaurant, BONmi is the only vendor in the hall that had an existing brick-and-mortar location prior to the opening of Sous Vide Kitchen." - Serena Dai

I've been going here since it opened. It's never been the best Pho in town, but the Bon Mi was solid. This visit was pretty disappointing. Staff was unfriendly. All the tables looked like they hadn't been cleaned all day. When we asked if someone could wipe our table down the staff seemed offended. My partner got pho, I got a pork bon mi. There was so much fish sauce the bottom of my sandwich was soggy but the meat was dried out and tasted old. My partner's pho side, sprouts and cilantro, was wilted and brown, soup was luke warm at best. No one said hello to us when we came, and no one said good bye when we left. Just seemed really cold like they turn and burn deliveries all day. If you want delicious pho, go to Cafe Saigon out w.11th, Rare Beef pho is the best pho in town, and it's not even close.

Google
Being from Vietnam ourselves, we just want to provide some constructive feedback here. The Spicy Beef soup didn’t have the authentic flavor at all unfortunately. The Pork Sandwich was also not made hot, which defeated the purpose of the hot Banh My concept in Vietnam. We hope to be able to give higher ratings once the dishes show improvement.

Google
Fabulous Pho! The flavor of the broth was really great n point and it had a very generous amount of beef. I appreciated that they offered two sizes because the small was plenty for a meal. The sandwiches looked delicious. I’d post a pic but my bowl is empty. I’ll be back for sure.

Google
If I was to review this place a year ago or more, I would’ve given it five stars. Always good food. I love the PHO and the flavors are excellent. Unfortunately, the last time I went I was very disappointed in my soup. They gave me what amounted to about a tablespoon of vegetables and I had to ask for three more plates. I think they need to rethink this. Anyway, I’ll go back here and I hope it gets better, but I wish it was as good as it used to be.

Google
Very good spot with a picnic table outside for outdoor dinning. Very friendly service. The spicy pork Bahn Mi is as good as advertised!

Google
Wonderful food. Unlike most places, they dont charge extra for vegetarian options. Alot of restaurants I've visited add the extra tofu as a charge to the base price, let's say a chicken curry. These guys have 2 prices. Unheard of!! Sandwiches are phenomenal, the dining area could use some decor but thats okay

Google
The food was good but I came with a friend who is Vietnamese and the individual menu items are in English only which was a little weird and confusing. The woman taking the order was very nice but did not speak Vietnamese. I get that the customer base is probly 95% white Americans but having the individual items also in Vietnamese would of definitely been a better experience for us. The food was good but I will be trying a different Vietnamese restaurant next time.

Google
The food is amazing! I always get the Pho Ga. The chicken is moist and falls apart. I prefer to take-out over dine in here. The interior lacks the atmosphere you’d expect for the quality of the menu, feeling more like a strip-mall café than a full-service restaurant.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years. I've always loved the sandwiches for which the place is named. But it wasn't my favorite place for soup. Then a friend recommended that I try the spicy beef pho. I did and now I'm hooked! The spicy sauce they use to take the regular beef pho to spicy beef pho is amazing. I try to use it sparingly so I can bring it home and use it in other foods. I came in again today and decided to write a review because the food was great as always. But our server, Sitota, was so friendly she improved our meal.

Yelp
An excellent menu, with helpful staff that attended to every need our party had. I very much enjoyed the low key decor and humble seating that, at first, alludes to a mom n pop mediocrity yet masks a sincerely amazing quality of food. We all ordered pho and left satisfied beyond measure. While there was a lack of more traditional ingredients such as tendon (my personal favorite) explicitly listed on the menu, this did not detract from the delectability of the stock and protein. Prices were perfect, portions were perfect, taste was perfect. Overall a big fan of this spot and will be exploring the rest of their menu in time!

Yelp
It's good if you want something cheap fast and near the campus. Other than that, it's nothing spectacular.

Yelp
This is a solid place for pho if you are downtown. I been here on many occasions but recently, I have come to really enjoy their pho. This occasion we ordered the pho ga, vermicelli bun and a grilled pork bahn mi. The overall meal was delicious and it was solid. It will never be like what I can get in San Francisco, but it's good worth checking out. It's counter service and they are friendly and efficient. The premises are clean. Remember to bus your dishes after your meal.

Yelp
I met some friends at Bon Mi and we all got the size small bowl of pho, which was perfect for one person. I always end up with leftovers at other restaurants that only serve the standard size bowl, and I've found that re-heating pho at home renders it a little inedible. Bon Mi offers counter service, which is, by far, the easiest way to pay when eating out in a group that's all paying separately. In addition to the complication of multiple orders, my friends and I have a variety of dietary restrictions, but we all found something delicious to eat. I'm truly sick of restaurants that just have mediocre vegetarian options. I love to eat out, so the mediocrity of available vegetarian options was a big reason why I started eating chicken again. Things have gotten better in recent years, but I digress. I tasted what my vegetarian friend ordered, which was the tofu and yellow curry pho, and it was soothing and flavorful. I wish it came with more vegetables, but the broth, which can make or break pho, was incredible. I had the pho ga, which was equally as great, but I think I'll try the yellow curry pho next time. We also shared the salad rolls, but they were pre-made, wrapped in plastic, and mainly filled with iceberg lettuce. However, I can look past that for a great bowl of pho, which Bon Mi undoubtedly serves. I will definitely be back for my own bowl of yellow curry pho!

Yelp
I visited Bon mi while on a work trip to Eugene Oregon. I felt like getting some Pho since it was a nice fall day here. I found this place on Yelp and it had descent reviews so I went here with my co-worker. We were pretty impressed. First off the broth was very flavorful and had the Pho scent which was delightful. I ordered a small bowl which cost $9.50. They used the right thin Pho noodles and the meat was good. The only think this lacked was Thai Basil, instead we got cilantro, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeño slices. Overall the Pho was good for bring in Oregon. Service was good. You basically order first, grab your number, and the deliver your food. You clean up after you're done. Location is clean, descent amount of tables and seats. I'd come back here if I'm ever in Eugene again .

Yelp
Imagine it's Memorial Day weekend and every place is closed, but you want a hearty meal at a decent price, and quickly. Don't be fooled by the oh so many 1 star knocked off because of one thing they are guessing is going on in back of house. Their banh mi is hefty, but not overwhelming and the aoli is this savory guide to the incredibly crisp and crunchy flavors of the vegetables. Their pho in small was more than enough. They have a combo for both, it is crazy good and filling. Is it the best? Maybe not, but for the price, the speed of service, the comfort and the ease of getting what you want. It deserves each one of these stars. The tarro Boba tea is on point as well. Don't miss out on some of the best 16 buck lunch or dinner in the Euge.

Yelp
I enjoyed Bon Mi. I just was looking for a quick sandwich to-go, and gave them a call with a takeout order (two Banh Mi sandwiches -- one tofu, one chicken -- and some spring rolls). The person who took the order was friendly and clarified if I wanted the tofu sandwich to be Vegan or not (e.g. with Mayo). The food was good. One star off because I think the bread may have been day-old. It was fine, but just a bit dry. The ingredients were fresh (cucumber, daikon radish, etc). They were a bit over-stuffed, making it difficult to eat the sandwich (a bit messy). But, they were flavorful. The sandwich has excellent sauces and flavor. I'm not positive what all was on it (sunflower oil?), but it was definitely a good mix and better than some banh mi sandwiches I've had in the past. I

Yelp
I was truly impressed with the quality of the Pho, I had the green curry Pho with chicken, and let me tell you, the broth was amazing and added a half grilled pork bon mi sandwich. Kinda of self-service, once you order, seat yourself, and bust your own table place. Loved it and will come back while I'm in the area.

Yelp
I have been going to Bon Mi for years because their banh mi sandwiches are my favorite. Their pork banh mi was my favorite before I quit eating meat. Now I always order the lemongrass tofu banh mi. Their pickled radish and carrot topping is excellent. I ordered mine with extra along with extra jalapenos. I also ask for it to be made vegan which comes with no aioli nor fish sauce. The baguette that their sandwiches are made on are crispy on the outside and fresh on the inside. The only complaint about this rest is that my order is rarely made correctly as in once out of ten times. So be very explicit and allow extra time for remakes if you have specific requests. Tonight's order was ready in five minutes. I appreciated the fast service.

Yelp
I was introduced a few years ago by my friend from Taiwan and today I got the pleasure of introducing someone else to this little hidden gem. When we entered we brought their pup Buster Brown and he was the perfect little assistant in devouring the food. My friend ordered the Pho Ga(Chicken Pho) and I ordered the Yellow Pho chicken. We also ordered Buster Brown The Hoisin Chicken sandwich because they said they were unable to ring up just chicken. The sandwich had a fluffy bun and juicy and flavorful chunks of chicken inside with sides of sesame sauce and mayo. All veggies served on the the side which he refused to touch. While our soups were equally delicious we chose to switch since mine had more chili in it than I had planned on. They both were unique and they had significant differences. The Pho Ga had a rich brown translucent broth with big pieces of chicken and rice noodles. While mine had a semi spicy creamy coconut curry chicken broth with chunks of chicken and rice noodles. We both had sides of lime, thai basil, cilantro, jalapeno, and bean sprouts to add to ours soups. When we swapped I added Sriracha to mine giving it the perfect bite. We both equally enjoyed every tender bite that we took with our chopsticks and spoonfuls of broth to wash it down. We also ordered their house made Gingerade to try made with sugar water and fresh smashed ginger. It was sweet and it left a nice hint of spice in the back of the throat. Alongside that we ordered their Thai tea made with soy milk ,which was creamy sweet and a delicious. Between the two drinks what a great palate cleanser and tummy soother for all of the spice we ate. We left with two containers of leftovers content full bellies and the desire to come back and try other dishes.

Yelp
Best Pho and Bon Mi sandwiches in town. Friendly, local cafe vibe in downtown. Good service.

Yelp
Congrats, you've found a "Vietnamese " restaurant that's somehow managed to find compostable spoons with more flavor than their broth. If you're searching for a less than meh pho experience, this is your spot.
google avatar

Alessandra G.

Yelp
This pho place is one where you go up to the counter and place your order and they bring it to your table and you have to get your own utensils and sauces. They have really good sauces including chili oil, but they did not have sriracha when I went. I got beef pho with meatballs but wish there was more cuts of beef options. My pho was good and it had an okay amount of beef. They put a lot of noodles and broth which I liked.

Yelp
Amazing food with great customer service! Went in with a party of six and left satisfied! will come again :)

Yelp
TL:DR - A good fast casual joint. Pork banh mi was good at lunch time (some people said grilled pork gets dry at dinner). Banh mi is untraditional in that it comes with mayo and no pate. Banh mi is average size, unlike other reviews. So half banh mi is going to be pretty small. Half soup though is plenty. Spicy beef soup is NOT spicy pho, it's more like Bún Bò Huế. Slightly sour, plenty spicy. Price is average. Biggest gripe was that high chair is stored in bathroom. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fast casual Viet spot that hits just enough of the check boxes to come back again. The thing I love the most is they have a soup and sandwich combo, cause there are plenty of time where I want both. And whomever said the banh mi are huge, is clearly on something, cause the banh mi hear are very average if not a hair below avg, so if you're getting a half sandwich, this is like a dinner roll and a half. The half soup is a lot of soup, but I'd probably want a full sandwich and half soup and you get a more equal portion of each. We came in for lunch on a weekend, and I thought the grilled pork in my banh mi was more than adequate. Seems like people complain a lot of about the pork for dinner, so just something to keep in mind. The banh mi was definitely not traditional in the sense it's served with mayo and not pate. I'm not Viet myself, so I'm ok with it, but just be aware. I got the spicy beef soup. Please kno that the spicy beef soup is NOT a spicy version of their pho. It's much closer to Bún Bò Huế, which is a different thing. Either way it was delicious. Hint of sour, and plenty spicy. The price was as expected. Service was unmemorable (not good nor bad). The place wasn't the cleanest, but nothing I'd get super upset about, plus they were busy. One thing that did raise an eyebrow was that their high chair was kept in the bathroom, which isn't the first place I'd like to see the high chair stored as a parent. We def gave it a wiping down. All in all, pretty good fast casual spot, but I do hope they find a new spot to store that high chair.

Yelp
My friend Tony raves about this place and now I understand why. Upon entrance, the atmosphere is very cafeteria-like. Nothing special, though clean and welcoming enough. Some restaurants can feel intimidating enough because (these days) you never know how to approach or navigate ordering at the counter or whether table service is the thing. Bon Mi is small enough that it is obvious that you should approach the counter. Now, the good. The pho is delicious.. perfect really. Not too salty.. the broth is on point. My friend, Dan gave me all the fresh veggies (bean sprouts, cilantro, jalapeños) so, what could go wrong? Nothing! He wasn't as excited to dine here... he wanted to hit 19th St... but, time was on my side and we had none to spare, as we had one hour before Les Schwab was set to roll in and fix a flat tire we had downtown. I don't always RAVE about food, but in the past year there have been 2 places that have knocked my socks off... (Bon Mi and Eugene Country Club-- which was off the hook regarding food, presentation, service and all around regard for their patrons) and one honorable mention: Delta Bar (for their unbelievably delicious and homemade soups and hand-pressed hamburgers, as well as sweetly attentive and amiable service- clam chowder? Bomb!). Now back to Bon Mi. Every single bite caught me ooohing and ahhhhing. The pho. The pho. The pho! Close to Perfection. It took me a while to take a bite of the sandwich. I wasn't overly excited because it was served on a French roll. However, this roll wasn't overly bready (as I expected) and it had a crunch on the outside (wait... whaaaat?) but, once I had a good bite and could taste all the flavors, I was blown away. The chicken was ridiculously tender and had a sweetness to it (I generally don't like sweet on my meat) that surprised and delighted me. It was fresh, slightly sweet, savory and had that crunch! Dan agreed and I can't wait to go back! I had the spicy beef pho which had a bite, but was not spicy... I'd say most diners could easily handle it, save for those with the most delicate of palates. The only negative I have to offer is that the beef in my pho was sliced in slabs, so it was difficult to eat with manners intact. So, I didn't eat mine... which was not a huge problem because we both took a large portion of our pho home. The serving sizes are admirable. The condiment selection is also "nod" worthy. Important to note: The 2 women working there were very helpful in helping us order (as first time guests) and making sure we had everything we needed after we were served our meal.. even asking us how our lunch was as we were leaving. Pro tip: I don't usually order lemonade at a restaurant because A) either it's crappy powdered/pretend lemonade or it's just too sweet. I took a slug off Dan's (he loved lemonade) and it was the real deal. Tart, slightly sweet and deliciously refreshing. Yeah... just go!

Yelp
My husband and I were on a road trip, this spot was suggested by a local as the best pho. We enjoyed a delicious Vietnamese dinner, the beef pho had a light, fragrant broth with thin slices of meat and rice noodles. I also tried the Banh mi sandwich with beef, this was absolutely DELICIOUS! the bread was crusty with a light and fluffy center, meat was rich and tender, topped with a sweet mayo sauce and crispy refreshing veggies! Yum yum yum. This is a must visit for delicious, filling food. The prices are reasonable too. Tip- add the chili oil to your pho for an added kick of heat!
google avatar

Gwen W.

Yelp
The grilled chicken bahn mi was DELICIOUS. They provide a rubber band to help keep the sandwich together, which is really helpful if you're on the go. The place was clean and welcoming.

Charlotte T.

Yelp
One of my favorite comfort restaurants. I order the seafood pho everytime and it is such a good food when sick too! Best bone broth i have had!
google avatar

Jay K.

Yelp
The food was absolutely so good at such a good price point. I'm normally pretty picky about my viet food, often opting to make my own but this place made me immediately love it. The service is quick and quality, the workers are very kind. The ambience is absolutely fantastic and so so cute and cozy.
google avatar

Breanna M.

Yelp
Truly terrible. I took one bite of the salad rolls and pho before throwing them out and going somewhere else. Not fresh, watered down, poor quality. My husband said his was 3/10.
google avatar

Quincy D.

Yelp
Great bowl of Pho got the large beef super filling. Quick friendly service. Got a banh mi Togo for tonight and it looked delicious as well.

Kimmy R.

Yelp
I got the lemongrass pork bahn mi, which was recommended by the very helpful and kind woman behind the counter. The bahn mi was large and very filling. Lots of meat and fresh pickles veggies. It was flavorful, well balanced, filling. Highly recommend! I pictures are the sesame balls which were warm, chewy, creamy on the inside and the perfect bite after the bahn mi. Service was fast and incredibly friendly! Highly recommend this place!

Nancy X.

Yelp
I gave them a 1 star for effort, I had order their salad roll and they pre made it and store in the fridge, the rice wrapped was so hard, their peanut sauce was so watery,

Yelp
Going to a new spot can be a bit overwhelming and it was. My friend and I were visiting Eugene for both our first time and sort of stumbled on Bon Mi with their vegan options for her. We also wanted something a bit cleaner since we were seeing a performance. Pro tip - maybe don't eat a giant meal of heavy tragedy when you plan to sit and watch something for two hours. Our timing was pretty perfect too considering while we were ordering a pretty substantial line formed behind us fast at just after 5pm. Their 'were' pretty empty and then they weren't steady through us eating. A lot of this is set up to take care of yourself which we sort of figured out - pour your own drink and grab your flatware. Also, some of the cold items, like salad rolls you grab yourself from their open fridge right there. The staff their just sort of assumes you know what the what. We had to ask multiple times for different sauces that were supposed to come with it which was awkward an there was confusion when my friend was ordering since she was ordering the salad rolls. The person asked if she wanted egg rolls and my friend was confused (having already said she was vegan) and asked if those were vegan because the just had the V, not the VE and then both the people were discussing with each other when we said that the menu right above them listed them with the V to which one said right, vegan....we pointed out that was vegetarian and VE vegan and then she said oh right. The food itself was pretty great except I ordered their salad topped with the lemongrass pork. I saw other reviews and felt the same - it was like over cooked nuggets of bland I would not have bothered ordering. It was strange since the salad was all so fresh and delicious so having this overcooked meat on it was such a contrast! My friend was not that impressed with her salad rolls and said her noodles did not have flavor until she used the red sauce I gave her that I did not request and the other half of the sesame dressing I had to ask for which was supposed to come with my salad. That dressing was crazy good and had tons of flavor to where it was a tiny amount they gave me and I used half of. Also, the egg rolls. I would go here and just order those in bulk and a pepsi...sit in the darkest corner eating a ridiculously disturbing amount of them and regretting nothing. They are THAT GOOD. Perfect filling to roll...and the roll was perfection - the perfect thickness, crispness and even the sauce. I got the vegetarian ones and you really taste the veggies and the rice vermicelli. Amazing... There is street parking but I did need to circle around to scope out a spot and it seemed to get really busy after I got there. I don't know the area though so I probably was doing it wrong.
google avatar

Yelp
Good: - customer service - variety of options - clean and organized Meh: - food a bit salty - parking is out front of you can find one On a good note, the Com día (rice dish) with chicken ($10.95) was the best tasting item we had. Pho kind of missed the mark for my wife and I. My wife ordered the small Pho Ga (chicken pho, $8.50) and I, a Large spicy beef pho ($10.50). Not sure how the Spicy beef pho broth was cooked, or if it even differs from the regular beef pho, besides the hint of lemongrass. Also, the garnishes( cilantro, lime, bean sprouts), being left out in the open air, becomes stale and unappetizing. There's no Sriracha because of the shortage but the Sambal sauce that was used tasted overly Salty as well. Overall, not sure if I'd come back for the pho, but the rice dish was decent and customer service was good.
google avatar

Marzia M.

Yelp
Dirty tables, no soap in either restroom, rude waitress, forgot half of our order without even a sorry, and barely edible food. There are way better places to eat in Eugene.
google avatar

Kat P.

Yelp
The banh mi here is great! We order the pork, and tofu. I think they would be better if toasted! I've tried their pho, salad rolls...and not my favorite. We make both at home so we are kinda snobby about Vietnamese food. They are quick and friendly, expect lunch rush! Popular spot :)
google avatar

Whitney D.

Yelp
This review is for food only since I got it delivered. But I liked my spicy beef pho a lot, the ingredients seemed fresh and it was full of flavor. I added some sriracha to my bowl for more spice because I wanted to eviscerate my sinuses but it also had some heat to it without it! I appreciated that the broth, noodles, and toppings (herbs, bean sprouts, lime) all came separately, so they didn't get soggy. It was also a big enough serving that it lasted me a few meals.
google avatar

Karin H.

Yelp
Excellent food, excellent service...well worth the hour plus drive to get a sandwich. I keep saying I'm going to try something different, but when I order I can't break my habit of ordering this super tasty sandwich...we did venture a little and ordered a chicken instead of pork to take home...small steps.
google avatar

Daisy M.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots in Eugene! Food is so fcking good, the prices are so good -especially considering inflation rn- and they're always polite and fast when we go in. Love the restaurant itself, in a cute location. Genuinely one of my favorite restaurant period
google avatar

Sean C.

Yelp
My chicken Bon Mi sandwich was decent but not life changing. It would have been nice if the sandwich would have came to my table already sliced into two half's, since it's a messy type of sandwich to begin with. I ordered a side of pot stickers & I received egg rolls instead. The young man apologized for the mishap & didn't hesitate to get me an order of pot stickers, but I said it was okay. The ambience of the place inside was OK, but a little more effort could be made to make it more warm and enticing(especially with the woman that I assumed owned the place... she seemed like she was not in a cheerful mood). I'm torn on my thoughts of ever patronizing this establishment again.
google avatar

Eric E.

Yelp
Big fan of the 1/2 sandwich, small soup combo. Pork banh mi, standard pho. Comfortable spot to stay and eat.
google avatar

Christina C.

Yelp
Incredibly yummy food and for such a good price!! I got the sandwich and pho combo for less than $15, what a deal! It smelled SO good when I walked through the door. I immediately knew that this place would be amazing and it IS! Even though they're "small" the portion is perfect. A lot of places have way too huge of portions.

Savo ..

Yelp
Their bon mi sandwiches are really good. Will definitely go back again. The bread is fresh

Kaitlyn S.

Yelp
4.5 years later and yellow curry pho is still the answer to all of life's problems. 10000/10, I recommend everyone try it at least once. Pro tip: order it spicy or grab a few of the chili oils on your way out to make it somehow even better than it already is
google avatar

Rekz K.

Yelp
Nice staff and good food! Took my mother for her first Banh Mi 6/2024 and she loved it, she wanted another the next day.
google avatar

Santiago C.

Yelp
The food is excellent. I would only recommend they slightly toast their baguettes for the bahn- mi sandwiches. Other than that, outstanding!!
google avatar

Amy K.

Yelp
My favorite Bon Mi in Eugene! Love the hot chicken! I usually do the lunch combo with the Pho and hot chicken Bon Mi. The bread is soooo good, but when I'm trying to go low on carbs I do the lettuce wraps instead. Both are delicious.
google avatar

Scott E.

Yelp
First visit for me and I'm glad I stopped. Excellent food and reasonable prices. The red hot pork sandwich actually had some heat and I'm a big fan. The pickled veggies go really well and offer a nice contrast to the spicy meat. I enjoyed everything I ordered. Will be back.
google avatar

Aaron S.

Yelp
Great lunch value. My go-to is the full red hot chicken Bahn MI sandwich and the small spicy beef Pho meal. I'm always super satisfied after I come here. Ingredients seem fresh and the Bahn mi has great flavor.
google avatar

Aqeel R.

Yelp
I thought the food here tasted authentic. It was very good. I would definitely recommend eating here again. The price is a little more than expected but you get what you pay for. The service was top notch also. We went in late on a Saturday night but the sever was still able to attend to us. My wife thought the broth needed more salt and pepper but it was good to me.
google avatar

Cynthia C.

Yelp
Staff was really nice. Atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. Pricing was about average. I had a grilled pork Bon Me Sandwich. I've had much better. The meat was probably grilled much earlier in the day. We came in for dinner at 6pm. Meat was dry and didn't have much flavor. Bread was good but not authentic Vietnamese baguette. I asked about who made it. It was a local supermarket. Husband ordered the Seafood Pho. That too was ok. Large order contained 3 shrimp, 1 muscle, 3 pieces of imitation crab, a few pieces of squid and noodles. The flavor was ok after putting in the requisite jalapeño, bean sprouts, lime juice etc. We also ordered egg rolls. Now this was the biggest disappointment. They reminded me of the laziest version of a Chinese egg roll. Cabbage with a little bit of carrots and some seasonings with a dipping sauce that was NOT NOT NOT Nuoc Chum. Honestly seemed like something someone bought at the market in the Asian section without looking what country it was from. Probably won't be coming back.
google avatar

Matt B.

Yelp
Inauthentic but decent spot with vegan options. Having seen online that they have vegan options, we stopped in for some dinner on a Saturday night. It wasn't too busy, so we got our food quickly. You order at the counter and they bring the food out. I got a large yellow curry pho ($11.95); my wife got a small tofu pho ($8.95). My yellow curry pho was decently flavoured but overly salty. The curry character was decent, but nothing complex; it was just much too salty. The pho comes with extra firm tofu, a good portion of noodles, and a sadly lacking portion of veggies (a few thin slices of carrot and a couple of small pieces of bok choy). So, two gripes: way too salty broth and not enough veggies. But pleasant overall. 3/5 My wife's pho was on the bland side, but was amped up decently by the usual Vietnamese condiments. Same issues here with lack of veggies. 3/5 Decent spot, but nothing spectacular.

Yelp
This Down Town eatery has survived through thick and thin and has consistently delivered as close to authentic Vietnamese casual dining for nearly a decade. The staff and owners are friendly and looking to serve the customer. I have sampled the entire menu but return for the Bon Mi sandwiches every time, favorite is the Spicy Pork. The fresh bread and flavorful contents are must experience.

Yelp
LOVED the food! The bahn mi was HUGE, and extremely delicious with the pho has a combo. The only thing we would've changed was the vermicelli bowl, it was good but maybe the pho noodles instead and kind of a "boring" ambiance to it. Everything else though was wonderful especially for the combo price. We are new to eugene and so far we now have a favorite pho spot !

Yelp
Stopped in on a Friday night for a quick dinner after a long drive through heavy traffic. Wanted something fast and reasonably healthy and Bon Mi did provide that. The sandwich had lots of veggies and the tofu had great lemongrass flavor. The bread was far too soft though! A good Bahn Mi baguette is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, so this was a disappointment. The Pho was also lacking the rich flavor of a good broth. But, all in all, it was pretty ok.

Yelp
The first time I went here it was amazing. I couldn't believe it the first time I had a bond me sandwich at all pate no way I'm not French. Wait this is not French. This was so much fun. It was a great experience and Eugene. I would recommend it to anybody just order one of the most popular sandwiches and just enjoy and don't worry about the ingredientsyourself
