Bonafried

The chicken was dark meat (thigh) and I'm all about that! Perfectly fried, crunchy, greaseless...and the creole honey-mustard was a great add. Perfect shrimp basket too (I believe this is a Friday only special during lent) ...big and plump, with the cutest little sweet hushpuppies. Glad they got it open. Nice people too. Welcome to the neighborhood!

I don’t say this lightly, this was the BEST fried chicken sandwich I’ve had. Quality meat, flavorful sauces. Fries were crispy and salty. Get here before word gets out.

Absolutely spectacular chicken sandwiches! We had a large party and we ended up trying all the flavors....every one a hit. Chicken is moist, juicy with a beautiful crisp on the outside. Fries...abundant and delicious. A must stop in NOLA!

Literally the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. This will definitely be a go to from now on. The owner was so kind and offered me a free drink cause my wait was a little long. If you are hesitating to try you won’t be disappointed. The sandwich is life changing.

IYKYK, and if you don’t you better go find out. Bonafried has been the best chicken sandwich in NOLA for a while, and a brick and mortar means you don’t need to track down their truck during lunch hour. The restaurant is bright, clean, and stylish, and owners and staff make sure you feel welcome. 10/10.

Had lunch on Sunday with a few friends and had a wonderful time. Liv and Rebecca were absolutely sweet and attentive. I have the Sweet hear with a side of Mack sauce. and the chicken was sooooo juicy. Will definitely be back!!

Yesterday we enjoyed an outstanding lunch at Bonafried’s new brick and mortar location, 3101 Grand Rte Saint John St, New Orleans, LA 70119. It was great to see the same team that brought to NOLA their unique fried chicken sandwiches from a food truck, in their own space. Same casual, friendly, and engaging service.

Excellent hot and tasty fried chicken sandwich for lunch. Friendly, prompt, service and very reasonably priced. Casual but comfortable and not too loud. Couldn’t not have asked for more. Thank you.
