If you enjoy quick service with decent prices then this is a nice spot. The food is tasty and flavorful and staff has great customer service. Easy to find and free parking. You can order ahead online as well. ENJOY!

Try the spicy wings, you're gonna like it. I cant eat spicy, but it was so good. Honestly, it pricy but worth it and I understand because right now everything is up. But their wings are huge comparing to BBQ chicken. I love here but just too far from where I live.

Bonchon always comes through for our weekend family dinners. The kids are big fans of the Soy Garlic wings, while I go for the Spicy. The Seasoned French Fries are also a hit. The smaller wing and drumstick meals can be a bit pricey, but the K-Meal To-Gos offer great value for larger groups.

I ordered on Christmas eve for pickup 15 mins before i arrived, and when I came in they said that they don't have my order. When they checked their list, they said that it just came. So i have to wait 15 mins for it. The portion size of the wings are small to be priced at $2/ wing. The coating wasn't done properly so it didn't cover the chicken properly. The flavor was bland and overcooked. Chicken was dry. Wasted my money. I had bonchon before from other branches and this one ruined its reputation. Will not order from this branch again. Save your money, go to other Korean fried chicken places.

I took my son to BonChon in The Colony for some one on one time and to eat dinner. They had 1199 special that have been advertised on the web and a big sign on the front of their store advertising the special. However, when I got there, they said they weren't having the special anymore. They just decided to stop. I pointed out that the advertisement was on the front window and their response was it doesn't matter. I ordered my food and sat down at one of their tables and it was dirty. I asked the person to clean the table. They took a dry paper cloth and tried to wipe the stickiness off of the table. They then wiped it off with a very wet cloth which left the table wet. I couldn't believe that this was how they clean their tables so I asked her could she dry off the table. The person had a very bad attitude and told me that the person who's supposed to clean the tables wasn't there. Finally, I just observed the restaurant, it was generally unclean like it hadn't been mopped for some time. Needless to say, I was very disappointed.

This past Sunday, November 9th at 6 PM, my family met at this location for a very casual birthday dinner, as requested by my boyfriend’s daughter. It was our first time visiting this particular location of Bonchon. We were a party of ten, and each family placed our orders individually before sitting together to chat while waiting for our food. When the food began to arrive, the young man delivering it brought each dish out one at a time, placing them randomly in the center of our tables (we had pushed three tables together to accommodate our group). This led to some confusion about which dishes belonged to whom, but we eventually sorted it out. It was mildly frustrating, but we understood—it seemed like he might have been new or inexperienced, and we gave him grace. Once everyone had their food, we realized several items were missing. We had to ask multiple times for the missing dishes and sides. Again, we remained patient. However, after still not receiving everything, we followed up once more. That’s when the tone changed—the employee became defensive, insisting he had brought everything we ordered and even demanded to see our receipts to prove it. At that point, we were missing a side of ranch and a chicken fried rice. Then something truly unbelievable happened: the employee reached into my boyfriend’s dish with his bare hand, pulled out a piece of chicken, and said, “This is the chicken fried rice,” before placing it back in the bowl. My boyfriend had ordered the Seoul Sampler, which includes multiple small dishes that hadn’t all been brought out together, and—since everything had been placed in the center of the table—there was already confusion about which item was which. We calmly asked that a new chicken fried rice be prepared since the dish had been touched with bare hands. The employee refused and said he could just “scoop out the area” he had touched. We then asked for a refund, which he also refused, and he retreated to the kitchen. Meanwhile, another member of our group was still waiting on her side of ranch. When she went to the counter and rang the service bell, the same employee came out, picked up the bell, and threw it on the floor. By this point, everyone was extremely uncomfortable, and my boyfriend’s daughter was in tears—feeling awful that her birthday dinner had turned into such a stressful experience. My boyfriend’s mother asked how she could contact the manager and was told he would be in the next morning. She has called several times since, but the manager has yet to return her call. Needless to say, I would not recommend this location. The food itself was good, but the service was by far the worst I have ever experienced. What happened was not only unprofessional, but also unsanitary and unacceptable.

We walked in and were greeted by someone working. We were new here and unsure of what to order, the guy at the front didn't help or recommend anything. We took our time and he was patient with us while we figured things out. Typical seating arrangement, nothing big or fancy. I can see how ordering to go would be beneficial here if they are busy. We went on a Sunday for lunch around 2 and it wasn't too busy. We ordered the pot stickers, half spicy and half dry. An order of the bulgogi Fries. And an order of the small, 12 piece, Korean BBQ wings. Everything was so fresh, delicious, savory, hot, and crunchy. I'm already ready to go back and enjoy more food! They have a lot of options here and all sound delicious. This is a thread I will happily come back and update as we try more food!

Yelp
Small little place nothing special about the location. Also took a while to place my order since no one was up front when I get there. I went with the mixed wings and drumsticks. Did the soy garlic and spicy flavors. The spicy did have a kick but was a nice heat. Not overwhelming so it was a good balance. I liked the soy garlic too although seemed to be more soy than garlic flavor. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Was very juicy on the inside and had crispy skin. They also put extra wings on my plate so it was a ton of food.

Yelp
We're never at GrandScape so when I remembered that a BonChon was nearby the choice was made. The person working the counter was great-it was obvious that we were noobs and she guided us through the menu without asking. It was pricier than I expected ($15 for a "small" including one side) but we got two entrees and waited. The space was eerily quiet (no music; they could improve the ambiance by doing... almost anything) but the food came quickly enough and we dug in. The taste was excellent and so was the texture. But there was no one behind us in line and the food took enough time that we were baffled by its temperature: it was nearly cool...but *just* warm enough not to send back. Finally, the floors in both the restaurant and the bathrooms were incredibly sticky. Given the number of options in the area, I'm not sure if I would give it another chance.

Yelp
Re-rating this place to call out their greed. I've been a patron at this location since they opened (next door to current location) and watched them consistently raise their prices. I've sent several customers whom are new to k-chicken to this place and while everyone loves the flavors, the one constant complaint are the prices. This location is the most expensive in DFW, more than Addison, more than Dallas. But alright, I'm local and want some kchicken so I go to order and now, they've changed the quantity of wings for the same price. Now for the price of what was 20 wings, you get 16. Only this location is doing this. Will not support you guys anymore and will go elsewhere. Here's a suggestion: stay consistent or maybe lower your prices and more sales?? Raising prices and being shady with the wings definitely lost me. Plenty of Bonchons around town and other kchicken spots.

Yelp
This was my first time at a Bonchon chicken restaurant and I was very pleasantly surprised. I had the six-wing lunch special. The outside was crispy with a very tasty sauce and the chicken was moist and tender. They were among the best chicken wings I've had in a long time. I can highly recommend. The service was excellent. The decor is very basic, but perfectly adequate.

Yelp
The restaurant while not old, needs a makeover/remodel and some polishing. The tile floor absolutely needs replacing. I ordered the lunch special-wings and Cole slaw. The food was a pricey but good.

Yelp
I travel over a hour for this particular spot as everytime before today was pretty good. But today, was heinous. First, it's FILTHY. The floor is peeling up and sticky Tables, counter and drink station all Gross. The bathrooms, DISGUSTING and smells of raw sewage with no AC. The food has gone down hill. Part of the attraction was the amount of food you got for the price. Welp we order 20 wings and got 12 full wings and 8 partials. Literally half sized.....and the coleslaw we usually love, was um....yellow. we didn't eat that. Also they're water is out in the kitchen so they're getting it from the drink station......also the drink selection is out of 3 drinks , but they will sell you a drink cup and not tell you that...... We won't be back to this location and I will be contacting the country health dept

Yelp
Bonchon-the colony I was craving Korean fried chicken. so I looked up this place near my workplace and ordered medium combo: 6 drums + 10 wings plus French fries. I asked for extra spicy, the restaurant gave me a dipping cup. Come try it yourself, I like the fries and fried chicken with pickled radish
google avatar

Yelp
This is a regular stop for me. The fried chicken wings are my favorite. I love the taste and the crunch. They never put too much sauce to make the chicken wing soggy. The service is always pleasant. . Great place to have a good meal with your family with music playing or you can watch TV as well. Today I ordered the Bulgogi fried rice and fried dumplings.
google avatar

Yelp
Our food was good! We got the family meal and it came with 10 wings and 4 drumsticks, and two sides. It was piping hot and delicious. One star off because the prices on their online menu and at the store are different. It seems like in store is actually cheaper.

Yelp
Okay so I have head so much about KFC (Korean fried chicken) and I was so excited to finally get a chance to try some for myself. Now I'm not going to say I was disappointed but with the appearance of this place and the price I paid for what I got, I can't say I was blown away and I don't think it's something I would find myself eating very often. Now don't get me wrong it was pretty good but it wasn't worth the price in my opinion. I can't say that I would visit again but the experience was okay

Yelp
Bonchon wings, when fried to a nice crisp and coated correctly with sauce, are my favorite Korean style chicken. Unfortunately, this location has produced a mediocre experience for me two times in a row, both with the food and the service. Based on a previous issue when ordering via their app, I called to verify the order this time. The manager said his computer showed the order but it didn't show up in the kitchen. He ensured me the order would be ready by the pick up time. When I showed up for curbside pickup at the designated time, there was no sign of anyone coming out with the food so I walked in, at which time the manager told me it would be ready shortly. After waiting about 10 mins in the car, I walked back in and the order was sitting at the counter. Using the app for curbside pickup and adding some tip was a complete waste. As for the food, the wings were fried to a nice crisp but there was not enough sauce to coat the wings. What distinguishes these wings from the other fried chicken places and warrants a higher price is their unique sauce, especially their "spicy" sauce. I'll be looking for a different Korean style chicken place.

Gene H.

Yelp
Bonchon has gone downhill... a lot. It's not even crispy. Way too much sauce. And the coleslaw tasted chalky like flour was dumped in it. Really bad. No customers. Doesn't even taste like Bonchon of NYC original. The ones in NJ are still passable.

Yelp
We ordered last night from this place via Uber Eats. The order was wrong. Can't contact the restaurant because the phone number listed goes to a voicemail box not set up. Uber Eats refused to refund order. There were no steamed veggies on the Katsu. The pork rolls were not as described & the tiny, tiny sliver of pork belly was under cooked. It did not say the roll would be slathered with disgusting coleslaw and a cucumber/pickle the size of my thumb. The "combo" said it came with drums, not giant drumsticks. Drums are part of the wing! The potstickers were tossed in a horrible sauce, not on the side for dipping, so they were soggy and inedible. This is the most frustrating experience through both providers I've ever had & I will not do business with either again.
google avatar

Yelp
I don't get the appeal of this place. $42 later, we were given a pile of over fried dry chicken strips and some pickled radish. Drinks were extra and no other sides. Womp Womp. We had one order of boneless wings and an order of strips with garlic soy. But the sauces was thin and few. Wings & strips - they are basically the same thing which also didnt make any sense. No dipping sauces or sides left us feeling overwhelmingly disappointed. The tables are OVERLY sticky and gummy. The floor stuck to my shoes.

Yelp
Update: Although someone affiliated with the business (perhaps owner or manager) harass-messaged, I wanted to give these guys an extra star for their efforts to stay open for their financial situation and customer gain during the pandemic. The chicken here is crispy but the inside texture and flavor of the meat itself is dry and bland. The flavors we had were the sweet crunch and soy garlic. Both tasted ok but the flavoring was only on the outside and the inside was sooooo bland. So the wings were ok but then we ordered drumsticks the next time and they were terrible. They were the size of small turkey legs and were dry as a bone. The meat was bland and they had a funny smell to them. It might be due to the pandemic but the meat smelled old and almost bad. Not to mention the wings were all different sizes and I got shards of bone here and there. One other thing that was nearly hilariously offending was the size difference between their white radish and coleslaw options. You can pick one as a side so we picked one for one combo and another for the other combo. One came in an 8-10oz container and the other came in a tiny sauce container that was like 1oz size. Hoping this place gets their crap together.

Yelp
Stopped by mid afternoon to give this a try as they have been advertising heavily locally. I ordered their 10 wings and was pleased with the size of the wings and the double frying does give it a unique crunchiness. What was majorly lacking in my opinion was a choice of their two sauces and the fact that they would not serve it on the side. I ordered the soy garlic and after the second wing the sauce became so overbearingly sweet that I couldn't eat anymore. I am writing this review three hours after eating and I still can't get the overpowering taste out of my mouth. I would have rather dipped them in ketchup.
google avatar

Yen P.

Yelp
Bonchon's Korean fried chicken is SOOOO GOOD. The chicken is double fried so it's super crispy! I ordered half soy garlic and half spicy to enjoy with a friend. Soy garlic was flavorful and not overpowering at all. Their spicy is actually spicy, which is awesome. I'm weak and sipped water in between every bite though. The staff here was super kind and attentive, answering any questions we had about the menu and checking in often to make sure we were happy with the service! If you check in on Yelp anytime (except for lunchtime) Monday through Thursday, you get a free appetizer! Bonchon also has a happy hour Monday through Friday 3 pm-6 pm and the deals are pretty sweet!
google avatar

Shivani P.

Yelp
I've had Bonchon in Austin before and desperately wanted to take some friends. We went to this location and ordered the half and half (half soy garlic and half spicy) along with fried rice. I will be honest and say that the fried rice was mid, but we were using it to cool down our mouths from the spicy wings even though they were spicy they were so delicious, as well as the soy garlic. The service was great and he was really patient with us. It does have a fast food vibe so don't expect a super nice ambiance.
google avatar

Alicia M.

Yelp
This is one my favorite spots to have a quick lunch. I enjoy their takoyaki, wings are delicious and crispy. Zucchini fries are the perfect crispy we get the half and half option garlic soy (sweet) and hot flavor. Their pork buns are yummy as well!
google avatar

Danica A.

Yelp
This branch is kinda small, but don't let that fool you! They have high quality food & great customer service. Their twice fried chicken is what it should be: crispy on the outside & juicy on the inside. The spicy and soy garlic flavors did not disappoint! I just wish they had more flavor options...possibly with cheese in the future? :)
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
This is based off just one small order of boneless chicken wings and a couple sides. Stopped in for a quick bite around 5 in the afternoon. Saw the Korean style fried chicken and the thoughts of twice fried wings just couldn't be denied. Stopped in and they have a good selection of different styles: drums, wings, strips. I did the boneless, small order of 12, with a side of kimchi cost about $19 which to be honest may be a little on the high side. But flavor good. Choice of soy garlic, spicy or half/half. They come out fairly clean and honestly I just ate them while in my car on the way to a music rehearsal like potato chips. Very tender but with that crispiness in the coating. Flavor there but not overpowering. It's a more subtle burn this way and I appreciate the ability to eat chicken wings without being lathered in sauce or having to be dipped into ranch or blue cheese for flavor. Kimchi seemed like it just came out of a jar and the steamed rice ok nothing special. The order took about 7-8 mins tops and lady up front was not overly friendly but pleasant for sure. I did notice a lot of what I might consider Chinese food options as alternatives. May try that but I went there for chicken and they delivered just fine.

Yelp
Good fried chicken wings. Hadn't been to this location just the previous dallas location. But was very excited for this visit. People including myself raved about the salmon ball app. Where is it at this location? It's not offered! Other than that complaint I recommend Bonchon to everyone. Soy garlic is my fave and spicy is toooooo hot for me. Sorta wish they had a more exciting ranch dip like spicy ranch or wasabi ranch. It's just regular ranch with some good crunchy Korean fried wings.
google avatar

Angi T.

Yelp
I've had friends from NYC raving about this place. I finally went to a location near by. I was surprised by the prices. It was pretty steep for chicken. Then when we got our meals the pieces are huge! The chicken legs reminded me of The Flintstones. Where did they find this chicken, Bedrock?!! As we started digging in, I realized it's strongly breaded, and that what makes them look so big. The taste is cool but going on purpose...eh...maybe every blue moon. Ya'll gassed me up on this and I want ya'll to ease up. Mind you I love Korean chicken but I've had better. I prefer the small Mom and Pop whole in the wall.

Mike H.

Yelp
Disappointing. Menu item not available. Side dish served in to go container for my dine in meal. Chicken was not cooked to order. I was served in less than five minutes. Lastly I asked for all drums and was served 2 drums and four flats. Cole slaw side was kind of a joke. I won't be back.

Yelp
This place has def become a top contender for fave fast-casual Asian in the area. The fried chicken was really good and my boyfriend could not stop raving about the glass noodles. Didn't think that the Bao buns were that great, so probably won't get those again. But everything else was really good. It's a little pricey but I feel like the quality is there. If this place stays consistent, I'll update to give it 5-star review.

Yelp
We were advised to try this restaurant and it didn't disappoint! The location is a bit small.. when we went there was a huge party sitting right by the door. We felt rushed to order because there was no place to stand and look at the menu. We ended up getting 1/2 and 1/2 wings ( soy garlic and spicy) and French fries. The spicy was my favorite! It wasn't too hot but after a couple your mouth is burnin the soy garlic is a bit sweet, I didn't really notice the garlic. We ordered to go so we parked in the front and they brought our food out to us. The only sad thing is we live in Fort Worth so we won't be getting out here much! If you are in the area, I suggest you try it out

Emily T.

Yelp
This place is absolutely disgusting. I was craving zucchini fries and this place came up having them which is why we went. We get to the counter to a worker who seemed half asleep. Ordered food. FOOD HAS NO FLAVOR WHATSOEVER. Granted we did not get spicy options but gross bland. Super gross bland. You can not have spicy but still have great flavor. The "fries" I was craving were rounds not actual fries. The floor was sticky and not washed. Counter was not clean. Staff just sat on their phones when clearly the place is dirty. I would not suggest this place to anyone. Even the ranch sucked for the zucchini rounds. Lastly, the place is very overpriced. $29 for two small drinks, a lunch meal, and zucchini rounds not fries. How is this place still functioning?!

Yelp
****have to change my review, and hate to do this during the pandemic but the quality of their foods have fallen, severely. I've ordered to go twice and my order messed up each time. Also, they are seriously skimping on their sauces with multiple pieces having sauce on only half of the chicken. I LOVE their sauces and is one of the main reasons I go there, to get shorted sauce is the worst. I honestly will not be going back, they're still very pricy and with the lack of quality, it's definitely not worth it anymore, and I hate to do this during the pandemic but very disappointed. This last time I also got the tteokbokki and had 5 pieces of tteok, the rest was fish cake and raw onions. No thanks.

A R.

Yelp
I don't normally write reviews, nor 1 star reviews at that. But Bonchon deserves it for their massive fall from grace and lack of customer service/support. We've been Bonchon regulars since this location first opened. And man, was the chicken special. We used to bring relatives from out of town, and told all our friends and got them hooked. The old strips were the best they had to offer. And then slowly, their quality started to slip. Inconsistencies here and there, the size of their chicken got smaller while prices went up. And then the pandemic hit and they did away with their strips in favor of pre-breaded tenders - the quality of which was average at best. Falling quality combined with rising prices stopped us from coming. We even wrote to their customer support a couple of times and received no response. They recently advertised that their old strips were back, and I was intrigued. I ordered 10 to go for $17, a total of $1.70 per strip. Please look at my image. I paid $1.70 for "chicken" the size of a pinky that was more fried than meaty. And customer service gave no reply when we reached out via email. I'm officially done with Bonchon. As good as the sauce is, they need to deliver consistent quality before I risk wasting my money here again.

Cody M.

Yelp
i'm sorry to say it, but this place is not that great and I've been to the other ones in other states and it taste way better it's kind of sad. The chicken doesn't taste the same and the kimchi definitely doesn't taste the same. PS don't give up on trying this place just don't do it in Texas Chicago or Minnesota is a really good place to try it or even Philadelphia

Jacob P.

Yelp
I've never had to spit something out before. The Cole slaw that came as a side to my katsu chicken was legit rancid. For my actual meal it was okay. The katsu chicken was over fried and it seems like the oil hasn't been changed in a while. I feel bad writing a negative review but I shouldn't spit something out when I just spent $15 on a meal

Yelp
I have been here twice now and each time its good! They claim to sell korean fried chicken (kfc) but Compared to the locations in carrolton and harry hines and even in Korea itself, I would say this is not real kfc but more of an americanized or specialized version of it. First off kfc is more saucy and pickled radish is always provided at no extra charge. Here they charge you for it or count it as a side and charge you for extra raddish. Plus the raddish is not even pickled and as sweet and vinegary as it should be. However just because it isn't real kfc doesn't mean its not good. I actually really enjoyed the unique texture of how they fried the chicken and really enjoyed the spicy sauce. I wish they would give more sauce on the side or make it more saucy because it would taste so much better. I really think that the drunk sticks are the best here because there is more meat and gets you more full. The menu is pretty pricy but drumsticks are pretty worth it! I haven't tried any other items other than the chicken, but the tacos and dumplings looked pretty good when I saw other tables get them.

Yelp
Fixes my tteokbokki cravings! Food: I've never actually tried their chicken wings, but I always come back for the tteokbokki. The actual rice cakes are always chewy & never overcooked. I personally like the heat, however, I know some may prefer less heat, but it's perfect to me. The cheese is gooey and delicious. They always add a little deep fried seaweed roll on top, but honestly, I think they could do without for to-go orders since it's gonna become mushy once brought home. Atmosphere: Nothing too eye catching, but very roomy! Service: There was one single time where the guy handling my take out order seemed a bit rushed? But it was a bit over 30 minutes till closing so he may have had a few other things to do. Other than that, I've never experienced any real issues with this place prior or during the pandemic. Servers were always attentive and kind.

Yelp
the food was either luke warm or cold, so much so that you don't wanna eat it, which inevitably leads to you getting ripped of because of the high price.

Yelp
The wings were so crispy and the soy garlic sauce was delicious! The pot stickers were also crispy and tasted great with the same sauce. The bulgogi tacos were ok - the 2 sauces overpowered the flavor of the beef. Would visit again!

Yelp
Pathetic food. If you want to waste your money go ahead. Otherwise just go to Popeyes and have a great meal of chicken. Food was over fried, unpleasant looking and smelling of burnt blood. I almost threw up while eating.

Yelp
Ordered 5 spicy wings & 5 soy garlic & seasoned fries Good quantity of food. Nice crunch & thickness on the wings. My only negative about this place is it's a tad pricy & the spicy wings are a bit too spicy but the soy garlic is zero percent spicy

Yelp
Quality has dropped significantly. Upkeep is not good. Even worse. The food doesn't live up to hype. Chicken was dry and fried were average. The drumsticks is a joke. The batter makes chicken look twice as big. I saw other customers leave without finishing their chicken. Really disappointed.

Yelp
I had been hearing about this place from a few of my friends and I finally got to try it out yesterday. They're menu is pretty simple but I think they're mostly known for their Korean wings. You have three options to get wings, strips or drumsticks. They also have combo options to mix and match. They only have two flavors tho, hot and something garlic. I can't remember the name. But I got half and half and I also got a fix of wings and drumsticks. The wings are huge! A lot bigger than any usual wing place in the area. A small size will definitely make you full. The hot is pretty Spicy just as a heads up but it's still pretty good. The other flavor was pretty good too but I really liked the hot one. You can also ask for some ranch and that'll help with the spice. Also as a heads up if you check in on Yelp you can get a free appetizer! We got the shrimp dumplings, but honestly they don't have that much flavor so try something else. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
The spicy drumsticks were so crunchy and full of flavor! If you haven't tried it please do because it is definitely worth it!

Yelp
As we drove up to the store front we can see from the windows all the available tables were preoccupied. I had my boyfriend go inside and asked if there was any available tables. The cashier rudely told him, "what do you mean there's two tables right there". Mind you those two tables were not in plain sight. More towards the back area by the restroom. Strike one. As my boyfriend waved us to come inside. We went to the counter and the same girl didn't even acknowledge us. Just stood there aimlessly avoiding eye contact until I started to order. As I order each item She did not say a word to acknowledge that she was taking my order once done ordering she decided to speak by giving me the total. If you're use to bonchon sit and serve type atmosphere. Its the complete opposite, It's more order at the front, you pick a table and they will bring you out the food. On to the food, the chicken is still the crispy crunchy chicken Bon chon is known for. Seems like they dumb down the flavor of spice for the hot flavor. I couldn't really tell the difference between the soy or hot. Fries are crispy and coated with parm and parsley. The fried rice is ok, tad sweet, and bland other than the taste of sesame oil. I wouldn't order it again due to the price, size and the fact I can make it at home.

Yelp
I went for lunch and ordered the lunch special of 6 wings, fries and a drink....all for 10.00! I got half soy garlic and spicy and of the 2, the spicy was my favorite. Im not sure if they add an extra breading, but they sure looked like they did. I don't like a lot of bread on my wings, or sauce, and these had neither which was really good. So whatever they added onto the wings were in a good portion. I didn't care for the regular fries as they were a little too thick and blah for me, but Id return in the future since everything was good.

Yelp
I really miss pre-pandemic Bonchon. Generous chicken strips, high quality chicken just all around excellent. This one sucks now. The sauces are good but the chicken strips are tiny now, more like anorexic chicken fingers. Don't take my word for it, check out the pic. The chicken is tough and they give you plastic tableware so good luck cutting through it. Bring a pocket knife. Oh and the worst part is you get less chicken for more money. I really wish for the good ol' days.

Yelp
My wife and I know a thing or two about Korean chicken. Fried chicken at this store was not properly cooked and seasoned. It was salty on the outside, but no flavor beyond the first bite. It was extra $2 for more sauce. Also had the fried rice. It was almost $13 but it was of low grade microwave quality. Overall, it was a low value experience for the money paid.

Yelp
We decided to come here so we can try everything around our home. I've been to a Bonchon once before in Dallad before they closed and remembered how much I loved the crispyness of skin of the chicken. I ordered chicken wings again this time and the crispyness did not disappoint. However what did disappoint was how little the wings were. I got spicy and sweet crunchy wings. The spicy was super spicy, like legit Korean spicy. The sweet one wasn't so sweet though, it didnt have much flavoring and I really only enjoyed the texture. My wife got tteokbokki and the chicken in there was dinky too. Overall I just didn't feel we got a good value worth of food. I even checked in on yelp for a free potsticker appetizer. If we had paid for it, then the price would be overwhelmingly unjustifiable. The service however was superb.

Yelp
We order take out all the time. Food is excellent! The Kimchee was a real surprise. Best pot stickers and fried rice.
