Bonchon Fayetteville

Our family of four went here to eat on a Saturday. It seems as though the ownership is changing over as they were setting up new elements in the restaurant. They only had disposable to-go silverware and plates available for dine in. The cashier was friendly and greeted us and probably took our order. Even though we waited quite a while for our food despite there not being too many customers in the seating area, I must say that the wait was well worth it! I’ve eaten Korean fried chicken at various restaurants in the metro Atlanta area, including this location, but this particular visit provided the most perfectly cooked Korean fried chicken I’ve ever had. It was perfectly crispy, without being dry or burnt. The garlic soy seasoning was balanced and well incorporated. We paired it with rice and seasoned fries. Both were also perfectly executed. I highly recommend this location. I would return here with my family, but I do hope they are able to increase the speed of their service.

We had such an incredible experience at this Bonchon! The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was outstanding. I have never had chicken wings as good as theirs, and all of the sides were fresh, flavorful, and bold. We don’t live near a Bonchon, but this location will be our spot when we are anywhere close to Atlanta!

I used to love BonChon. Back when they first opened, they had amazing food. Really good calamari used to be big rings, then they were small and not as good. Now they don’t even have calamari. The other night around 9:15 I ordered soy garlic wings. Came back at 9:40 bc she said it would take about 15 minutes. I get my food, I get home by 10. I open up the box and this is what I found. Hard, stale, no sauce wings. So obviously they’re closed at this point. Because I would have called them back and complained. I tried to get in contact with bonchon customer support, but still no response. It’s Tuesday and I’m still thinking about how they gave me complete trash. And it’s the fact they still have not contacted me about my complaint. This is truly ridiculous.

This is one of my mom’s and I FAVORITE restaurant when we visit Fayetteville! They are famous for their wings! I absolutely love the soy and garlic seasoning for my wings. Another must try is the Japchae noodles and the Bolgoli rice ands beef! A robot even delivers it to your table! You won’t be disappointed with this restaurant!! ♥️♥️♥️

Food was awesome. Shout out to the Young lady Samara at the front desk that took my order for her recommendation. Got the fried rice and 10 wings..

I got the Tteobokki and it was a little spicier than I expected but it was good. I also got the korean fried chicken and chicken fried rice, the fried chicken was very crispy and the soy garlic flavor was so good the rice was also good. Overall the food was great and the lady who served us was very nice.

This place has DELICIOUS CHICKEN. Incredibly crispy and the sauce was great. I wish there was a bit more sauce on my drumsticks but the sauce was so flavorful that it was okay. I ordered the small and drumsticks which comes with 5 pieces. At first, I thought that the price was a bit high for only 5 pieces, but when the food arrived I understood the price immediately. The pieces were massive, I could only eat 2. The slaw that it came with was super peppery and delicious. Overall, it was very good and I will be coming back.

Review based on an Uber eats delivery. Food was well packaged and arrived hot. The chicken wings were very good. I ordered half soy/garlic and half hot. The hot definitely has a kick, but not a lingering burn, just flavor. Might be too hot for some. I also ordered the takoyaki, fried octopus balls. I have had them before and they are good. They come topped with boneto flakes

My husband and I rarely get to a Bonchon chicken so we were super excited to find one in Fayetteville since we were in Atlanta for a day. While the food was outstanding, the service is what impressed me the most. Both of the servers that we dealt with were so polite, friendly and helpful. The robots bringing food to the tables was a lot of fun. As always, we left with a lot of leftovers !!!

I think I came here with too many expectations because it fell really short of how hyped it was for me. The few things I liked was that the chicken was crispy but juicy on the inside. I was really impressed with how well cooked the chicken was since it's easy to overcook a chicken this big. It also came out fairly quickly too. Now for the things I wish could be improved: The chicken was not cured, so there is essentially no flavor inside the chicken and the only flavor is coming from the sauce. However, there was barely any sauce on the chicken too so I had no flavor anywhere. They also charge for sides like coleslaw and pickled radish which are complimentary at any other Korean chicken place. Service could be worked on as well. It seems like they are trying to substitute real service with the robot server. Overall, I personally wouldn't drive so far out to try here again with so many other options closer.

Order on door dash . Got bulgogi fries with NO BULGOGI. $15 dollar fries and can't even get your order right . Get on the phone with them and they act like they can't understand and cant remake an order they made a mistake on my order and wanted me to take cold fries . rose the cashier are So unprofessional , decline to getting her manger because she made my order wrong .

As you step through the doors, you're greeted by the familiar ambiance of a casual lunch spot. You settle in and grab the menus to place your order at the counter. Terrance and I decided to start with the octopus dumplings and ordered ten wings, splitting the flavors between spicy and yam-yang. We also added kimchi alongside coleslaw, and opted for fried rice with pork belly and kimchi. After about ten minutes, a friendly robot arrived with our order, accompanied by a vibrant waitress. Now, onto the food! The wings were packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice--perfect for any heat seeker. The fried rice was cooked to perfection, though it could've used a bit more pork belly. Unfortunately, the octopus dumplings lacked flavor, even if their presentation was decent. The kimchi was a highlight, while the ancient coleslaw was merely average. Overall, Terrance and I give Bon-Chon a solid 4.5 out of 5!

The chicken wings, y'all! So crispy and crunchy. The Japcha (sp) was tasty. The robot waiters are so cool and cute! You have to order at the counter currently and it's so cute when the bot comes by singing and delivering. Meals range in price from about $10-20 a plate. Definitely worth a try.

Came here the other day and i thoroughly love bon chon but this day they were not on their A game.... The food not so good this day and they brought my wings out first and the rest of the food came out approximately 35 minutes later. I was greatly disappointed and definitely confused on why all of a sudden it had gotten this bad no refills on my drink and the food was below average.

Visited this location for the second time, and I'm really glad I did because my first visit wasn't so great. However, todays visit was the complete opposite! The lady at the register was quite delightful and very friendly. My food was extremely fresh and OMGGGGG, so delicious! The restaurant, though not super fancy was well maintained and clean....so was the lady's room. The young man who accompanied the robot server was also very friendly and super professional! And the robot was super cool too! I'll definitely go back again, and take my daughter too because she loves Korean fried chicken too.

Ambiance is a very nice restaurant . It's spacious , have enough sitting room. Good vibe inside. Service was great. You have to go up , order your food & pay for your food at the front and the robot will bring it out to you when it's finished. The waiters don't serve you so everytime you need something , you have to go to the front. The food was great. The Japchae just needed a lil more of the sauce that was mixed within it but the flavor of the food was delicious . The Fried rice was great . Had the right amount of veggies & egg. The Veggie potstickers were the best with the sweet & sour sauce that came with it.

love Bonchon!! I've had it while I was traveling in a different state previously and was so excited to learn that we have one in Georgia! So worth the drive to Fayetteville! We got the chicken strips of half soy garlic and half spicy. The spicy was really spicy ! I feel like when I usually order Korean fried chicken with spicy it tastes a little sweet. But bonchon does not come to play with their spice. The chicken was so tender and juicy and flavorful! We also got the dumplings and they were deep fried and really good. The seasoned fries were also crispy and the fries were the thicker kind which I really enjoyed. The radish and coleslaw were also great additions to the chicken. The perfect crunch. Overall, I really enjoyed my bonchon meal and think it is worth the drive. Wish they will open more locations up north!

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant on a random Saturday afternoon. Not a long wait to order but there was no waiter/waitress so the employee mentioned to us that we would have to eat our food out of to go containers (since we were dining in) and there was no waitress or waiter working today. We ordered the Bulgogi with with rice, Fried Korean BBQ chicken and the spicy Korean chicken tacos. Everything was delicious and flavorful with the exception of the coleslaw. They also have locations in several other states and countries. Would return again!

The ambiance was good .Service was fast, quick and order correct .Food was great and tasty!

I've been to this place a few times and the food is really good. The people there are so friendly and they have the best customer service. Thanks to the lady who served us, she was very sweet.

I believe this is the best fried chicken wings and drums that you can get anywhere. Very crispy on the outside and wonderfully tasty. Nice choice of sauces. Got a kick out of the robots delivering the food to the table. Staff is good. Just like everything else it is more expensive these days, but you will thoroughly enjoy this. traditional Korean dishes are also served. I know this is a chain, but it's a good one.

Ugh! What can I say about Bonchon?! I've been a fan of this Korean fried chicken chain since living in NYC years ago. The fact that they have a location in Georgia makes me so happy. My in-laws live in Fayetteville, so we go sometimes when we're visiting the area. My favorite dishes are their bulgogi tacos, house fried rice, and of course, the Korean fried chicken. Always fresh, always delicious!

This place is not serving real bulgogi and have the nerve to charge $17 for ground beef(that's what it taste like)! As someone who lived in Korea and have gone to several all you can eat Korean restaurants in the area, I know my bulgogi lol. Then they don't offer refunds according to the manager. However, the wings are good and flavorful. The lady at the counter was very nice.

I give this place three stars because they are limited in the chicken flavors. They only provide two options, the service was just okay. As for the vibe, it was pretty much empty & kinda felt a vibe that they only want takeout. The chicken was fresh and flavorful but I probably wont be back unless they add more flavors to the menu

Looking for a quick dinner, and Bonchon helped me out. I got some chicken fried rice, edamame and soy garlic wings. They were delicious.. my husband got the spicy wings and he LOVED them.. they were super spicy.. they didn't let us down tonight. Glad we went.

Always wanted to try bibimbap so I came here. Had the soy garlic chicken bibimbap and it was pretty good. We also tried the bull dak and the pot stickers. I did notice there was no easing into the spice level, as everything listed as spicy had a nice kick to it. If you decide to eat here, you have to call your order in. No dine-in and they won't let you place orders face to face. (Very inconvenient)

My friend recommended Bonchon, and I went there with my boyfriend. My boyfriend had Bulgogi, I had the soy garlic chicken with fries. The food was awesome and they give really good portions at affordable prices.The service is also great. Highly recommend.

This place is expensive but the food is very good they are very clean in the back the chicken don't stink food comes out fresh every time I would recommend this place.

Oh my goodness this was like coming home. We haven't been here since Covid as they only had take out and we live so far 30+ minutes away for that. Dining room was open for us to stay in and eat so we jumped in the car. I have to be honest we ordered way to much for just the 2 of us but let's be real you have to have leftovers. So on to what we ordered Korean Tacos spicy chicken Pork potstickers House fried rice Seasoned French fries Chicken strips soy garlic with radishes To eat there. To take home besides the leftovers another 10 piece chicken strips half spicy half soy garlic and the new donuts which are huge. New owners, just this month, and they are super friendly and has the family involved. Came over asked how everything was and truly wanted our honest opinion. Not only was the food delicious I think it might even be better than before. Service was super fast. This is the first time back after that mess but it won't be the last. We have quite a few family and friends super happy to go back.

Great Korean fried chicken, nice and crispy. I got the Combo (3 drums and 6 wings) tossed in spicy + Korean bbq sauce and both were just about perfect. I actually had to take leftovers with me because the wings and drumsticks were bigger than I thought; no wimpy portions here! Service was fast, staff was friendly, food was tasty. I'll be sure to come back.

I couldn't run fast enough to make a review! Very good food! I love the kimchi as it reminds me of home and the bibimbap was so delicious. Great portions too! If I didn't have leftovers from this meal, I would've gotten another order from here to go for dinner! Service was great. I'll definitely be back for more!!

I enjoyed the chicken very much. It was crunchy and flavorful. I wish we had more fries in the order but otherwise the rice was delicious. The staff was attentive and kind. The restaurant was clean and inviting.

The chicken wings taste really good. Flavorful and crispy, my issue is that I said no side such as the coleslaw and pickled radish and paid for a side of steam rice. I receive two coleslaw (I don't eatand no rice. Disappointed I won't be eat the meal I drove 30minutes for and was looking forward to enjoying.

Do not purchase the bulgogi fried rice. You will pay $14+ for this plate and will get very little bulgogi. I promise you will be very disappointed!!!

I cannot recommend Bonchon enough. I've had plenty of Korean dishes, but the chicken here is unmatched. The crispy skin of the chicken melts in your mouth with every bite. We were instantly greeted when we entered. The staff is kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant is clean and inviting. Your immediately hit with the scent of amazing food the second you arrive. Cannot wait to bring family and friends!

My family stopped by to place a take out order after several hours at the fun park around the corner. I'm not sure what time they stop taking online orders but it was around 7:30 and we couldn't place an online order. My hubs went in to place our order of the family meal. He waited for about 20 minutes. The family meal comes with 12 wings (boneless or bone-in) and 6 drumsticks, white or fried rice, and a choice of 2 from pickled radish, fries, or coleslaw. We did the radish and fries. We had half our chicken plain and the other half with the soy garlic sauce. The soy garlic chicken was so good, my oldest would've eaten all of it if we let him. The plain had no seasoning, I mean zero, in its breading. We brought our chicken home to eat, so I added some chili garlic sauce to the plain and my hubs added some Japanese banchan sauce. I'd def never get the plain again and if we weren't ordering for our kids too, I would get the spicy sauce. The fries and radish were good, no complaints there. The white rice was kind of dry. My hubs said the staff (maybe the franchise owners) were friendly and it seemed like a family affair because their children worked the registers. If I were in this area again, I'd definitely try other things on the menu. I don't live in the area and it's not the type of place I'd go out of the way to try.

This is a family favorite when we lived in Bay Area, California and it's only one in Georgia! Get the half/half combo chicken. Soy Garlic is the best!!

Bonchon is my go to place for Korean style wings. The food is very good and always hits the spot!! I usually order the half and half wings (soy garlic/spicy), potstickers and the bulgogi. Always satisfied and very happy!! Bonchon recently had an ownership change and the new owners are fantastic!! Wonderful family that looks to improve on a great restaurant!! Customer service seems to be very important, as the rude worker(s) are gone. Arriving to friendly faces and kindness is always a plus!! Will continue to be a loyal, happy customer of bonchon!!

I know this Bonchon chicken for awhile ago but never really have a chance to travel to the south Atlanta to try this. Man, im so regret why didn't i try this chicken place sooner. Order 20 wings with soy garlic and spicy wings. The wings was super crunchy outside and juicy inside, the seasoning was perfect, the spicy wings somehow not really spicy for me( im a spicy guy) . Overall this is the best chicken place i had ever have in my life. No joke. You gotta try this place. Thanks me later

Came in to place my order inside was completely empty. Walked up to counter and order within minutes I was being rushed to pay for my food and the person behind the counter was very dry and rude. I asked him to purchase a dressing he tried to tell me no it was company policy then when I pointed to it on the menu he took a deep breath and said how many do I want like I was bothering him by being there buying that food when it's a thousand other places I could have gone. I WONT BE BACK I HOPE MY FOOD IS GOOD!! Praying he don't spit in it

Good Extra crispy chicken! I ordered the soy garlic ( I do believe ) and fries as my side - playing it safe. I will definitely spread my wings a little bit the next time. Nice place, very clean, good service and the prices are pretty decent.

Bonchon is delicious. This is the closest one to Me, so it's a good 5 hour drive, so we try to go anytime we are in or around Atlanta. Their wings are one of a kind, their spicy sauce is to die for. This restaurants decor is nothing fancy, you have tables and booths. There is waiter service and our waiter was extremely patient with us and helpful. Anytime you go to Bonchon you have to try the wings. The spicy is SO good and so spicy. I normally do half spicy and half soy garlic so I can cook down in between the spicy wings. The taste and flavor of the sauces are SO good. It comes with pickled radish which is a great palate cleanser. I got the fried Rice with bulgolgi and then asked for the spicy sauce to be drizzled on top, that is the best suggestion and idea I have ever heard of and it was SO dang good. The spicy sauce on the fried rice with the bulgolgi. YUM! I ended up getting chicken wings and tenders to go, the wings were wonderful, reheat on a rack pan in the oven on 250 until heated through and you get the same crunch at the restaurant not soggy and not overcooked. Overall I love Bonchon and we will definitely be back!

Ok. The wife and I went right it at opening on a Saturday. It was kinda dark in there and a lot of outside leaves on the floor. We just stood there waiting to be greeted. This was our first time so I didn't know how things were going to go. Lady finally came up and we wanted to dine in. She told us that we could place the order there and then when the food comes out we can proceed to sit in and eat or take it Togo. She said they weren't offering any wait services. So we ordered and found us a table. The tables were sticky, floors were kinda rough, and the bathroom just smelled horrible. Very pissy. There was another group of 3 that choose to eat there as well. That's it. I seen a couple of Togo orders the hour that we were there. Food on the other hand was pretty good. Wife got bimp rice and pot stickers. We also ordered kimchi as a side and it was good. I can't pronounce my dish but it was great and very spicy which I like. We will give it another try for sure I just wish the place was cleaner.

Food is amazing! The wings seem to be fried two times to make it extra crispy without losing the juiciness of the chicken. Potstickers are great, along with the fries and takoyaki. Great sauces to choose from, would come again!

I love the chicken here. I only been in Atlanta a month and I've been here about 4 times. That says a lot! The reason for the 4 stars is customer service and I hated the shrimp fried rice. The guy at the front must hate getting asked questions. He just wants you to know what you want. No inflection in the voice, no smile. It's like hurry up.. and that has been the experience every time. The shrimp fried rice taste like it had calamari and scallops in it and I could of did without it. If you ignore his dryness . It's worth the food

Best wings here. Their menu is simple and my family usually gets the half/half mix of bone in wings. Their spicy is actually spicy. Generous portions but very pricey. The pickled radish is usually quite good but was so watered down with barely any taste this last time we ordered. Unfortunately they still do not have dine in as I asked why, the staff said it's not that they don't want to open but do not have the staff for it. But, they gave me this exact reason a year ago, so I'm not sure why. So I'm really disappointed bc we have to drive 60+ miles to get this chicken and can't sit down to eat it. Probably would come more often if the dine in was open. Definitely recommended it to others and they have loved the chicken here as well.

I have been here multiple times and every time i have received horrible customer service! Over the phone and in person, today i went in to pick up my order and the bag of fries was filled with grease and the fries was cold. My husband asked if we can receive fresh fries and they told him NO! Today will be my LAST time eating here, you guys should definitely work on how you treat your customers!

So while out shopping, I told my fiancé that I was HANGRY (hungry & angry), so we tried to get some Jamaican food but the restaurant was closed, so he found this little gem. Decor: the seats are pretty worn (I hate torn leather), the bar chairs are soooo comfortable and it has an romantic/date setting feel to it. The space itself is pretty small but not to where you'll feel bunched up. Food: I had the Bulgogi dish w/ white rice which was AMAZING‼ My fiancé had the soy garlic chicken wings and friend chicken rice. The rice was good but the chicken wings were FIRE!!!! We will come back if in the area because this place really left us satisfied! The sweet tea was made perfectly as well.

Korean Fried Chicken. If you have not tried this before, try it now. It's crispier than normal fried chicken but the sauce is what separates it from everything else. I was only able to get the boneless wings as they were closing but try and get the drums or the regular wings (normally those are much better) I'm still giving this place 4-stars since the sauce was good. I got the spicy which was not that spicy and the sweet as aide which was tasty. The seasoned fries were also really good and it came with a lot of them for those of you that are hungry. My co worker got the bulgogi tacos and really enjoyed them. Overall a nice spot, I'll try the drums the next time.

We tried Korean food ( not chicken) from menu. And it was good! Dining in working. Definitely need to try other things from menu next time .

I'm making this review because I used to be so excited to go get some bonchon . The chicken wings were delicious and crispy!... BUT SADLY a few months ago, I noticed that their chicken wings have changed.. it's not as crispy and the flavor was too thick and unpleasant, I did NOT enjoy it one bit. . Please please bring back the original flavor.!! Until they bring it back, I will not be coming back .

I love the potstickers and the fried chicken. Everyone was SO nice. They also had a kitty robot that you could pet and serve food to you!!!!! I loved the black and red interior. 10/10 would definitely go again!

The main reason for coming to Fayetteville was for Bonchon. I had Bonchon in NYC and was blown away at how delicious the Korean fried chicken is!!! I love how juicy the wings are and had a crunchy exterior. Sadly enough, the only Bonchon in GA is in Fayetteville, away from Duluth where Koreatown is! My friend is a big Korean fried chicken fan so we came by to check it out. Unfortunately, there is no dine in. We didn't know and stood outside to call in. It did not take long for the food to be done. 15 mins!! I got a call to pick up and paid with my credit card. I did not need to sign. I see people generously giving tip at the jar too. I left some too since I couldn't add it to the total since they didn't want a signature. We sat in the car to pig out a bit. My friend is impressed how delicious the wings are! I made her compare it to her favorite Choong Man. She chose Choong Man and said Bonchon is a close one. I choose Bonchon and so do my husband since we've had both. I ate the spicy veggie dumplings and it's sooooooo good!! OMG, I wanted more! I got the veggie bimbibap and wasn't able to finish it all. I just wish I didn't get an egg on top and it was runny. The bimbibap is just okay. Great spice but it's missing something. Overall, great experience! Come and stop by if you're in Fayetteville! 96/2020
