When it comes to the best sauce for fried chicken, like always, I ordered the half spicy/soy garlic bone in. The fires are the crispiest in town and go great with the fried chicken sandwich. This location is a tad bit small in square footage so not realistic for large parties.

I have eaten at Bon Chon in 6 different cities in the USA plus original in Thailand. This was by far the worst. I ordered a mix of hot and soy garlic boneless wings, the sauce was almost non-existant. I read another review with the same issue, it seems standards have not gotten any better. I definitely would not order here again.

This is one of the best Bonchon locations. They have consistently chicken quality and the skin is always nicely breaded. I usually come every couple months or so and I have never been disappointed. The zucchini is good too.

I feel like the spicy wings used to be way better a few years ago. The quality has gone down but my family still loves to get it every once and a while. Definitely wish the spice level and flavor was as good as it was when they first opened the franchise.

We ordered the Soy Garlic wings with Bulgogi fries. The wings were a bit smaller than at the other Bonchon location that I've been to, but the consistency in the flavor of the wings are the same. The wings have a nice crunch when you bit into ớt and the sauce has a good blend between sweet and salty. 8/10 Although I've been to Bonchon a few times, this is the first time I've had the Bulgogi fries here. I would highly recommend ordering this as an appetizer. Who knew Bulgogi mixes so well with the fries? The fries were a tad bit crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. 10/10 Service was accommodating and very friendly. This is a good spot for a casual lunch or dinner.

The food was good and tasty we had potstickers, beef bulgogi and japchae The server was polite but no to friendly The place doesn’t look good and when you leave all your cloth smell bad I recommend to order to go or delivery no a dine in Next time definitely I will use a delivery service

Price wise pretty fair and flavors were decent. The radish was a bit meh but everything else was good.

My experiences here have been pretty good. I love the fries and the chicken is pretty good for a chain. Definitely depends on the time though Ig. The service was fast and very friendly. The honey soy and yamyeong were Since it's pretty close and if you live nearby I would recommend trying.

late night meal after struggling to find a place to eat, thanks bonchon :) shared among 3 of us, phenomenal crispy garlicky rich wings. the fries were well done and nothing special abt takoyaki. i've gotten the spicy rice cakes a few times but i avoided it altogether after realizing it was sending me to the loo more often than not

Ordered chicken for take-out. Chicken was delicious but took longer than estimated time on Bonchon ordering site. We had to wait an extra 15 minutes. A bit pricey.

Bonchon got the best lunch special. We always get the 4 wings and 2 drums + 1 side combo for $14. Takes a while for food to come out but drinks are always served promptly. Their spicy chicken got a lil kick and once you start you can't stop. Restaurant is small and got a clean restroom.

Food: Ordered the Soy Garlic boneless Chicken with a side of rice. It has a great crunch to it like is known and loved about Bonchon but it definitely missed the mark. Felt like it was sitting out for a bit. The rice was perfectly bland which helped with the overpowering flavor. I won't order that again but it was good for trying. Atmosphere: The only server that was there for the lunch hour was friendly but they ran out of placemats. That was a bit of a surprise since it wasn't busy 30min into lunch and at the start of opening. The whole place smelled like cooked chicken with bad ventilation. Parking: It was easy to find a parking spot with shopping center parking.

First time coming here and I think I got the medium combo. It came with wings and drums. The drums were huge, definitely not what I expected. I got the Korean bbq & soy garlic flavors. I liked the kkbq flavor more than the soy garlic. I felt like the flavors were just mostly on the skin/exterior and not too much on the inside. The soy garlic flavor was a bit mild compared to the kbbq one. The exterior was REALLY crispy though! I think I'd come back and try different flavors!

When craving for chicken hits, this place didn't disappoint. Ordered the small (10 pieces) wings half and half order of spicy and their new flavor Yangnyeom. Chicken was crispy and with the spicy it was a good spice level. The Yangnyeom was sweet but with a very small kick. Perfect combo with steamed rice and pickled radish. Service was quick and easy and I like that it's not overcrowded with tables so it gives it an open feel. Can't wait to try other food on their menu.

Food was OK but overpriced for the amount of food. Service was terrible. The young lady in the front was rude. . Front person seems bothered and unpleasant, which said the ambience for the place as not friendly or welcoming .

My first time having Bonchon and it wasn't a disappointment. We ordered Korean Street Corn, Edamame, Seasoned Fried Zucchini and 10 piece spicy wings with a side of pickled radish. The Korean Street Corn was good in flavor but for portion was small for the price I paid. Edamame was good. Seasoned Fried Zucchini was a bit on the salty side but tastes better when you dip it into the spicy mayo sauce. The chicken wings flavor was really good but the white meat was on the bland side. The overall experience was a good one and I'll probably be back.

First time trying KFC from this location. Actually, we ordered takeout for a potluck, and they were still crispy! Soy Garlic Chicken Wings - deep fried crispy wings in a light soy sauce and garlic sauce. The sauce is not overpowering and allows you to taste the chicken but also to enjoy the tasty sauce.

I can't believe they charge nearly $20 for 10 wings and they are TINYYYYY! They are the size of Little Caesar's wings. Literally as big as a human thumb. Also, the tteokbokki tasted like someone poured a whole 40oz beer in the sauce. It was not it. So disappointed in the quality of this place. Used to be good back in the day but will definitely NOT be coming back. The only thing that was normal or tasted the way it should have was the free radish.

BonChon never disappoints! We always get the soy garlic and spicy! I can easily eat 10+ wings with rice and the radish! So yum!!!

Was so excited to order from this location after having the same meal in San Diego and I was so disappointed. I ordered their chicken strips and what I received was chicken nuggets! Not real chicken nuggets...the type you would get from Wendy's or McDonalds...will not order again

I really like Bonchon, but this location is very mediocre. You can tell you're in for a cheap meal when you enter the restaurant, and it smells like they haven't changed the cooking oil in months. And the awful thing is it always smells this way. The service is always understaffed, and the food takes forever to get to you. The chicken is high quality if done right, but it seems this location is more concerned with cutting corners and saving money. I definitely recommend Bonchon, but not this location.

I come here often. Usually I would give this place 5 stars but today just 4 for the food was good but not great. We ordered soy glacé combo chicken (drums and wings), japchae, bibimbap, edamame. The edamame was good. I think it had some grated cheese on top. Bibimbap was ok. The japchae was very hard. The noodle tasted like it was undercooked. We asked the kitchen to cook it longer which they did but it didn't help much. The chicken was yummy. The chicken's the reason why we kept coming back. They are tasty and crispy. I think BONCHON is one of my favorite place for chicken wing

I personally love this location. The service is nice and the food is good everytime. My brother and I share the medium size which comes with 20 pieces and we usually have left overs. We like the soy garlic and spicy flavor and get half half. For the sides, the kimchi slaw compliments the chicken well. The fries are perfectly seasoned and crispy too.

Waited over 50 minutes for an order. Placed our order before we were even seated because we know they take long but they filled about 4 online orders and brought out 2 different in person orders that were taken after ours having the audacity to say they are still plating our food. Never going to this location again

Picked up take out for friend chicken. It tasted great! Kind of pricey but worth it. Fries tasted good also.

Great food and super filling! Loved the breading and the crunch the chicken had and the sauce was really flavourful. The place wasn't too busy so the service was quick and easy. The chicken didn't have too much chicken inside but still tasted great. Always love Korean fried chicken after a long day!

Ok, I love Bonchon's soy garlic chicken the most but... everything else was mediocre. The soy garlic chicken was good and consistent with the other locations. The japchae, not pictured, was good too. However, the "plain fried rice" was truly plain and the seasoned fries were nothing special and tasted like normal fries. I will give props to the only employee working on a Friday night to serve everyone when they were swamped. Maybe that's why the food quality wasn't as good because they're understaffed and busy...?

We ordered the medium combo and the loaded fries. The fries was delicious. However, we both felt that the chicken needs more seasoning. The coating on the chicken was perfectly seasoned, but the chicken meat has very mild or no seasoning at all. It wasn't bad, we almost finished the entire plate anyway. The staff was very attentive and the restaurant is nice and clean. We will be back to try other dishes.

The Korean fried chicken is delicious. I love it. Today I thought I'd try something new. Totally disappointed. The chicken Katsu was super dry I was offered a sauce and the server was pleasant and tried to make it better. A side of ranch didn't remedy the dry chicken. I told him it was not edible. I'd like to return it. I should have stuck with the fried chicken. That is really their thing. He told me I was unable to return after taking a few bites. I don't like to return anything and admittedly I took a few bites hoping I'd be ok. It was just too dry and hard to chew. He said I ate too much to send it back. I'll post a pick. The right thing to do would be to take it back and apologize. Not make me pay for it or replace it or offer an alternative. If their policy is to not take it back. I'm not going to argue. I'll post and not come back. I really like this place. It's unfortunate that customer experience is not the priority. Left hungry and disappointed. paid for a meal I didn't eat. I think it's ethically wrong to make me pay for a meal that was inedible.

I'm craving bonchon today and I literally go to this place all the time but I'm kinda disappointed of how they only put small pieces. And they charge me 35 dollars for this if I could have got whole 30 pieces of wing stop. Anyways, I want my refund. The authenticity of this have gotten worst. When they first open the pieces are big and now that it's known BONCHON just don't give a damnn no more. And all they want is our money. Anyways, if you're the CEO of this restaurant or whatever you call yourself you should be ashamed how other restaurants turn out. Good bye.

Food - fair Service - No one came up to us. No water. And no one came to hel Ambiance - Very poor. It was very smoky. More than any other fast food place. It was difficult to breathe. They need to invest in a property ventilation system.

Service was really fast and the food was really good. We ordered the boneless wings half spicy half soy garlic and I thought both flavors were really good. The chicken wasn't dry and the fries were seasoned well. I got the lunch combo which I thought was worth it because it was $11 base with $4 for the fries and it was enough for myself with fries to share for the table. There wasn't a wait for a Wednesday lunch

Customer service sucks! Placed an order through phone, they said it would be ready in 20 mins. I get here pay and ask how long, they said 20 mins, we don't make it till you pay!! No point in taking an order over phone if you ain't going to make it. Next time let your customer know!!

Located in the corner, plenty of parking in the plaza, they don't really get busy & it's a little smaller then the other locations (Sunnyvale) but they have people coming in & out to pickup to go orders. They have lots of choices on the menu you can chose, you can't do any substitutions, so whatever comes with your food, that's what you have to get. We usually stick w/the soy garlic but, you can do 1/2 & 1/2 with different flavors of your choice. They have lots of sides you can get too & the chicken (original) wings & tenders are all sooo yummy, whenever we're feeling Japanese, fried typea chicken, this is our go to spot. Depending on who's working, maybe, maybe not you'll get a friendly greeting when you walk in. Service is pretty quick when your seated & ready to order. Always satisfied when we eat Bon Chons, they do not disappoint

Food was ok. Not as good as it was hyped up to be, but I would definitely eat there again. Service is fast. Restaurant has a very small eat in area.

Love Bon Chon but this location is the worst one, food takes forever and that's from ordering 30 mins before, they seem like they're always understaffed and the chicken Seems like it's gotten smaller and the flavor ain't the same Definitely the one on Capitol expressway seems like the only one Togo too better quality food and better workers

First time eating married chicken. I ordered drums which I thought were going to be drumetts They didn't tell me that she even pointed out on the menu chicken wings and it was not when I got home. Call them told me about my order, they said. Oh, bring it back. We'll cook it more for you. I will never go there again.

Beware when ordering party trays. You order wings for 6-8 people and it includes 3 sides but they are the smallest side for an individual person. At least mention it in your website so people are aware and order extra sides. Corporations is not doing a good job. Call the store didn't care to fix the problem.

Zero Stars if possible. Ordered at 630 it's now 8:06 and all they can say is we are next. 20 minutes they said at 6:30 and then we asked again at 7:40 and now it's 8:07. Bon Chon Marketing said they are looking into fixing this?! Do t think you are. Thanks for your reply Bon Chon Marketing. Actions speaks louder than words. Saying sorry isn't good enough. Tipping is the action to show appreciation for your team members. What if all we did was say thank you to them and not tip?

Wings are great and cooked to order. But your order will take a long time. If you are ordering online or on the phone, add 15-20 minutes to your estimated time of pickup. Other than that, the restaurant is clean and the service is okay depending on who's working.

SO DISAPPOINTED & FRUSTRATED!! I ordered 30 wings, coleslaw, fries, and 2 cups of rice. I had my boyfriend pick up the food. When he came home it was only 1 bag with the 30 wings. He went back 10 minutes later to say they only gave us the wings. The manager had the audacity to call my boyfriend a LAIR!! What customer service is this??? My boyfriend continued to say we only received 1 bag. If it was such a big order wouldn't there be 2 bags. He also continued to say to check the cameras if they didn't believe him... Manager wanted him to pay again for the rest of the food. When they asked the front cashier if she only gave 1 bag, she was nervous and didn't answer. Long story short, they ended up giving my boyfriend the remaining of our order. So angry right now. Such a big hassle for an easy fix. Management DO BETTER!!!

Was told on the phone they don't take togo orders at 830 pm when they close at 9 pm. Update your hours if you stop taking orders then.

4.5 stars for the wings. I still love the wings! Really crunchy and the spice is good with a heat you can recover from. I prefer the chicken to be moist and fall off the bone with a crunch and flavor outside. They did not disappoint. 2.5 stars for the sliders. I wish I could say the same for the sliders. The chicken was very dry. People don't realize how much a difference would make to brine the chicken before frying. This was a miss for me. If I had to do it again I'd make sure I asked for mayo or extra soy garlic sauce on the bun and chicken. Stick with what you know is good. That's been my experience so far. Staff is really friendly and the wait time is average.

I went to Bonchon around 7pm to order dinner to-go. Their soy garlic chicken is my personal favorite and it's great to split with friends/family. Another one of my favorites is the bulgolgi house fried rice! Parking was tight in the plaza, so we had to park a few rows away. There wasn't a line, so we were able to order right away. Although there weren't many people dining in, there were a lot of customers calling in and picking up their orders to-go. It takes 25-30 minutes for them to make the chicken, so you have to wait a bit, but it's totally worth it!

I love their spicy and soy garlic chicken. The first time I tried Bon chon I felt like I was missing out and wished I had it sooner. I have tried the location on McKee and Capitol Expressway. I love their chicken and it pairs well with steamed rice. It's a go to place for yummy chicken.

I'm surprised this place doesn't have higher reviews because I thought the food and service were great! I went to pick up an order of spicy & soy garlic combo and we were able to order & receive our food within 15 minutes. The wings and drumsticks were crispy and juicy- what more could I ask for?! It's been awhile since I've had Bonchon so I didn't know what to expect, but it delicious! Also, the 2 ladies on the counter were very patient and nice

Stay away from this venue; do not return. No customer service when it comes to dine-in (longer wait; errors made with even longer wait as correction) vs take-out (no wait; orders placed later yet prioritized over earlier dine-in orders).

Just compare the regular price and the lunch special after I ordered; I paid $43 for 3 sets of 6 wings (which means 18 wings total) for their lunch special, then I found out their 20 pieces wings actually cost only $31.99 and 30 pieces cost $43.99. Why I paid so much for lunch specials??? So make sure to check the price before you order.

I placed a order with Bouchon in San Leandro, my credit card is charged and order is confirmed. The franchise calls me back with some odd excuse that they cannot deliver my order due to a online computer glitch. I now have to reorder and use Door Dash at double the delivery cost. I elect to pick up my 9pc order which is screwed up (6 legs/ 3 wings instead of 6 wings/3 legs), these were barely sauced and mostly tasteless. The manager gets all up in my face as to why I should just accept his explanation and tells me my original order will be reimbursed at some point. Looks like they can handle in store orders but certainly not online orders. So beware! Still waiting for my cc to be credited.

I absolutely love bonchon but it's so dang expensive. $20 for a solo meal of 10 wings? BRB crying in their stupidly packed parking lot. Sadly I would come back just because I love their chicken I appreciate they give a good amount of pickled radish and it's chopped into tiny pieces. Service was ok, nothing spectacular.

I am such a big fan of those soy garlic wings. I always get a large order mixed with both drumsticks and wings from here and they never disappoint. Some of the drunk sticks they give are pretty big but others are small. It varies. Wings are decent sized but with this amount of chicken that you're getting, it'll definitely keep you full! The fries are nothing special but they're great to have. I wish that they would include kimchi coleslaw in their menu but they took it off.
