Andy’s Pizza Expands to Foggy Bottom — And More Openings | Eater DC

"I noted that Bonchon—known for hand‑battered, double‑fried Korean chicken, wings, fries, and sauces—opened its first D.C. ghost‑kitchen at Ivy City Food Works for online ordering, delivery, and pickup (with a NOWOPEN delivery code for the first two weeks), while the brand’s standalone D.C. location sits in Navy Yard." - Tierney Plumb

Ordered soy garlic wings via DoorDash. There was no soy garlic sauce on them. After looking at the reviews, I see this is a recurring issue. Fries were old & gross. Soda was bussed in the bag : /

This is very different from the real bonchon in navy yard. Ordered on DoorDash and they say 4 drumsticks but give you one big one (per usual) and a tiny one. Wing sizes are incredibly wrong - way smaller from the original as we are used to at the original location. Be careful where you order from and pick the navy yard one not this misleading one.

Chicken had no seasoning, flavor at all, just the taste of cheap oil, not even a simple brine?! Everything was way too sweet, is the chef diabetic? Funny thing is the only thing that should be somewhat sweet, the pickled radish had no flavor towards the bottom of the ramekin. PS - I can't believe I'm saying this but I would have been more satisfied with Popeyes 😆

Stay away from this Bonchon at all costs. The food is 100% indicative of the fact that it’s not a real Bonchon location but some sort of satellite for online delivery services. The wings aren’t even breaded the same way as real locations and all the food comes out soggy. They completely forgot our sides which is sad because the dishes offered are not complex. It’s literally just chicken and one side. If you work there, you’re making the same order every single time. Also the strips were so tough and over cooked they were basically jerky and the breading was still soggy somehow. Avoid!

It was horrible! The chicken was delivered with radish water spilled all over it, making the chicken soggy. On top of that, the radish pieces were tiny—each one was barely a third the size of my pinky and too small to eat properly. The yangnyeom sauce was smeared all over the plain fried chicken, ruining the flavor I actually ordered. I was so disappointed and will never order from here again. We tried to call the restaurant right after receiving the order, but no one answered—even though they were still open! Do not go here. I truly hope no one else has the same experience I did.

No one answered the phone when there was an issue with the order Update (09/16): I emailed the below email address on 08/19 and never heard back.

disappointing experience. Ordered Seoul Sampler, and they managed to package everything EXCEPT THE WINGS. How do you forget the item you're most known for? What a ripoff, couldn't get a refund from Uber and they don't answer the phone either. update; restaurant responded and told me to call. but the store literally does not answer the phone, I've tried plenty of times.

All the boneless wings came out completely raw on the inside. I get it if wages are low and life is tough, but serving raw food is just outrageous, and the price range for this restaurant is not exactly cheap, hope this review helps others from avoiding such experience.
