Really nice coffee house on Howard St. Good vibe and experience. Inviting atmosphere. The kids enjoyed the chalk board. We had a salad, smoothie and the kids had hot chocolates. Everything was really tasty and best of all it’s certified kosher.

I found this place last week and have already come back for more! The staff is so lovely. I didn't love what I originally ordered and went to order something else, and they insisted on making me something different at no charge. The bugs bunny sandwich is awesome and there's free parking! Outlets near every table and no loud cafe music! Perfect for genuine focus.

This place is so good! I definitely recommend coming here for coffee and a sandwich. I ordered the mackinaw sandwich and caramel macchiato and it was absolutely delicious! HUGE sandwiches and delicious coffee. Plus the staff are super friendly and the environment is cozy. A great experience overall!

New coffee place in the hood. Interesting menu with some unusual coffee like agave lavender latte. Inviting place with friendly service. Nice to sit and sip your coffee or tea indoors or outdoors.

For all those vegan and vegetarians out there, you MUST try this place. The avocado toast and the hummus and roasted veggie toast are out of this world. I also recommend the bagels (the everything bagel is my favorite). If you have a sweet tooth, their pastries are great. The pain au chocolat rocks! The ambiance is relaxing and full of light and they also have outdoor sitting. The service is polite and efficient.

Initially saw the many reviews and photos mentioning Kosher options which is the reason it caught my eye. I asked if they still had those options since their new menu via QR code is completely different. Manager said they are no longer Bond Coffee or have that menu, no longer Kosher and he got offended that I now didn’t want to try anything. Their breakfast options are very limited and not kosher and it was 10am. Told me this is a top rated place and if didn’t want to eat at a renowned shop I can find a McDonalds or similar. This kind of sly underhanded remark especially in light of the situation is really what made me consider leaving this review. We both went back and forth about it for like 2 minutes but as I would turn to walk out he’s say something smart and engage again in front of his own customers. “If you don’t like the food you can leave” “leave the premises” - yes, that’s what I was about to do multiple times before hearing another insult from you. As I walked in and again when walking out I noticed the Bond Coffee sign still up there, sure maybe that takes some effort to take down. But if you look at the metal fence on the front they could easily take down the Bond Coffee sign it’s held up by Zip Ties. My guess is they’re enjoying the foot traffic due to the old reviews and association

Very nice place for coffee, tea, or a quick healthy bite. I really love the variety of drinks and items on the menu. The sweet matcha oatmeal is perfect for getting breakfast and a boost at the same time! The ambiance is quite cozy and the hours of business are reasonable. In for those times you can't sit and enjoy your order, there's a drive-thru!

Not the place you would expect when you want coffee. They only have plain coffee and don’t offer any other hot coffee drinks. Even the coffee wasn’t good. Watery and no taste. The food is extremely limited. Unless you want to drink for the rest of the day, don’t buy a fermented egg. Not the place that most comments are based on. Find another true coffee place.

I like checking out coffee shops (for chai or other specials; I don't drink coffee) and Bond was right down the street from where I was so I thought I'd give them a try. The first thing I noticed was that they had a drive through! That's incredibly rare for a coffee shop within the city that's not a Starbucks--in fact, I think this is the only independent coffee shop I've ever seen in the city that has one. Super convenient! They also have a parking lot with half a dozen or so spaces, so that's also a plus. They have a number of food items and it was around 1 pm when I got there so I thought I'd pick up something to eat. I ordered the caramel stripe latte for my significant other and the chai latte for myself. I also wanted to order one of their sandwiches, but the employee told me that he only had a few of the premium sandwiches available. I know he said premium sandwiches because I didn't understand what that meant--the menu board at the drive-up didn't say anything about "premium sandwiches", so I didn't know what those might be. It did highly suggest to me that either they don't make their sandwiches in-house, or they make up a batch early and they sit around until they sell. Neither of those options (particularly the second) is super appealing so I guess it's okay they didn't have any. But at 1:15 in the afternoon on a Wednesday, in West Ridge (not a busy, high foot traffic area)? Seems odd. Oh well. The latte was apparently really good from the report I got. My chai was okay. It was spicy--oftentimes chai is just kind of a flavorless drink that is little more than flavored milk. Not my favorite chai, but it was better than many others. I'm not sure I would return here; it's not particularly special and the food situation was weird.

Finally had a chance to visit! It's been on my list of cafes but due to early closing hours at 3 pm, rarely get a chance to go. It's one of the few (if not only?) kosher cafe in the neighborhood so it's definitely busy. Good balance of socializing and productiveness atmosphere. The pastries ran out pretty quick but they did have savory food options. The prices of the food is quiet expensive. The drinks menu did not have prices at the cafe, they are online but not sure if it's accurate. Also, the online menu did not match the cafe menu. Drink prices seemed reasonable for the orders in my group.

I had a terrible experience at Bond. I ordered a cold brew and they didn't dilute it as cold brew is supposed to be diluted. It made me so sick and showed all the signs of ingesting too much caffeine (aka due to Bond not diluting the cold brew) I vomited for hours and had nausea for two days after having their coffee. Do not recommend. Please train your staff the proper way to serve cold brew.

This place has super cool vibes. I ordered a cappaccino and it was better than I expected. The only issue for me (and it's kind of a pet peeve) is I really don't like paying $5 for a handcrafted drink and having it served in a throw away paper cup, even though that's sadly the norm these days at a lot of places. It's funny too, because part of the reason I stopped in was because I saw a wall filled with ceramic mugs that I assumed would be for sale. (They weren't). They were for decoration only. Bummer, some of them looked nice. The wifi was solid too. I stopped in at 10am on a Friday and there were about 8 or 9 people working on their laptops. The place was quiet with soft modern music playing in the background. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I'll return, but it probably won't be my every day spot.

This is such a cool space! My favorite detail of this business is that they have their own small parking lot and drive-thru, so you don't have to worry about finding street parking. Their Spicy Cinnamon Mocha was DELICIOUS and Iced Chai hit the spot. I loved perusing their inventory of coffee beans, where I spotted bags from Spyhouse, a coffee spot I had visited just a week ago on a road trip to Minneapolis. Loved to see that representation, such a coincidence! This was such a clean and comfortable location to hang out or get some work done. There is even a working fireplace. I am sure to be back soon. My only complaint is that there's a lot of single use packaging even for dine-in orders. I'm sure there's a reason for that, but the waste is surely upsetting.

This place is AWFUL!!!! I was wondering why I barely see any customers here but now I see it's under new ownership. Obviously the new owner/management does not only not care about being courteous to their customers, but the coffee and food is substandard, it's not very good at all and prices are way too high. The counter service person was rude on top. Too many other good cafes with great coffee and products.

I've already written 3 reviews so in order not to bore you I'll just add pics today. BTW, my cinnamon swirl latte with oat milk is delicious. Oh, have I mentioned I love the space and gleaned so much joy hearing the laughter comraderie of the employees

Horrible service. I've never seen a business owner text a customer stating a customer threw a " tantrum " after they served us a cold coffee. As a business owner, I could not fathom speaking to a customer in this manner. Absolutely disgraceful.

You've been there before...the coffee you drink is almost putting younto sleep and you dont want to start doing coke or adderall because then everyone around you will be like "why are you being such a shmuck lately". The next best thing is to go to Bond and have some caffeine with your caffeine. It's like being drunk on caffeine. Actually these are very friendly people ...they once kept my hat that I lost for me and returned it back to me when I showed up a week later. Ever since there was Starbucks brewing on every block in the usa it was the death of the mom and pop coffee shop. But u can tell that its different and you will feel the difference because the caffeine is gonna give you that extra bounce you need. As an added bonus their baked goods are great....especially their chocolate pastry loaded with choc chips called a ruchiki (pronounced rushky)

Super cozy in here! The staff was wonderful, I asked if they still serve the fruity pebbles latte and although it was not on the menu they remembered the item and made it for me! :) I had a bond breakfast sandwich, the challah bread was so great for it. Parking can be a challenge because the lot is a bit narrow.

Bond Coffee Collective is a newly opened (July 2019) boutique coffee shop. Looks like the owners transformed a bank into a community hub! Inspired by fusing the owners' passion for coffee, tea, and keeping a strong 'bond' alive, there's an extensive drink menu and a funky personal touches sprinkled amidst the midcentury modern decor. I visited around 10:30am during it's second week in business, and the space was bustling even past the typical morning rush. Despite the busi-ness, we experienced great customer service at the counter. The drive thru was closed - but after reading some other reviews, I think that's for the best as they ramp up operations. Parking was decent and we lucked out parking along the brick wall by the parking lot exit. I ordered a 'for here' matcha cortado with oat milk. My friend ordered the berry oat smoothie. Picking up my drink, I discovered I was one of the few customers to avoid the plastic disposable cups/straws. (Especially with their iced drinks/smoothie options so popular.. hopefully this growing business grows into better alternatives &/or switches to compostables). Both our orders were delicious and next time, I plan on ordering the smoothie if I remember to bring my disposable cup! Families, small groups of friends, individuals working; there was a lovely community feel inside and out. There's a play area and a variety of seating outside. Tip: community is their WiFi password! Congrats to this new establishment and their passion for good drink and community!

My parents house is 2 mins walk from here. Very cute and clean coffee shop. I got the raspberry truffle cold brew and chocolate raspberry roshki. They were both amazing. The staff is friendly and they even gave us free samples! Many good seats and outlets to post up and hit up laptop and study or work. Def becoming a staple of our neighborhood. Will be back

I was going to Dunkin', but saw that Bond was open and decided to try it out. The drive thru is great, but did take longer than a typical drive through. Probably because you can order actual food off the menu. I got the iced salted caramel latte. It was good, but did have a lot of caramel syrup sitting at the bottom. I didn't think it was worth the $5 I paid, but felt better that I was supporting a local business.

I ordered via Doordash and tried the Raspberry Truffle Cold Brew and the chocolate raspberry roshki. Both were delicious, and I'd definitely order from here again.

Great food, inexperinced and disinterested service. Love the Bond breakfast sammy and love that it is all vegetarian. The breakfast taco is awesome too. Had a few of their salads, very good. I struggled with writing a review and was sad to see similar viewpoints from a year ago. Seriously need to invest in training staff to handle multiple orders at once and to not show their frustration when slammed. Those of us waiting for our food were literally watching the one girl get more and more flustered. It was painful to watch, I wanted to tell her to breathe. It was not even a re rush! (3 drive thru and three internal orders at the time) There is one guy I've seen there twice who seems to know what he is doing, he was amazing, great customer service skills and I could feel his care in my sandwich. The others seem disinterested in customer service or just uncomfortable there. Had to re-make my sandwich this morning as the egg patty was not even on it. Lol. Also, if you want tips, leave out a tip jar. It's not effective to ask me if I'd like to tip after keeping me waiting in the drive thru too long and after I paid as much as I did for sandwich and coffee. I really hope they improve as I like the food (when I get what I ordered) and I want to keep supporting the local business. I also love that they have coffee sleeves that say Mental Health Matters.

I like you a latte! Ever since I saw that this former bank was being converted over to a coffee shop, I was too excited! This neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods have a lot of shopping opportunities, but they really needed a local coffee shop- truly a coffee shop is ideal in this location and would further blossom in this area. Anyways, I've wanted to come here for a long time buttttt the opportunity just didn't present itself sooooo when my husband stopped here on a quiet and chill Wednesday morning, I was absolutely delighted! First of all, major bonus points for having parking although personally, the parking spots are a little too close together- so please be careful if you've got babies. If you're on the go, they have a drive- thru menu which is pretty neat. Anyways, my husband and I walked in and I was a little pleasantly taken aback by the prices at first glance. It said cappuccino $2.99 which is like the cheapest cappuccino I've ever had. Well, then I looked at it again and it said for 6 ounces- and well, 6 ounces isn't nearly enough for my caffeine addicted self. So I spoke to the cashier and she suggested getting a latte but with the cappuccino. Well, it was a great suggestion and then we also asked what the best sweet was and she suggested the chocolate with raspberry- okay I don't remember last part so I'll say croissant because I don't know what it's called other than delicious with a side of heavenly. My husband ordered tea- blueberry (or was it blackberry) hibiscus. As someone who was there for the firs time, I felt awesome getting my order in and paying for it but a little confused when I was handed a number and told to wait at the end. My initial thought was "do I wait to pick up my order?" or "do I go sit down with my number?". They brought out my sweet really fast but when I asked the other barista so will you bring me my coffee? he said sure. I just so happened to be right by the "pickup" area when he called my husband so I picked up my coffee but they completely forgot about my husbands tea so I had to go back and ask them for it and the barista was like, "well what did he order?"- uh, my guess is as good as yours pal! They didn't even call my number 58 and I just kept holding onto it! As if that experience wasn't great enough, my husband really didn't like his tea. Omgosh, if there's one tea brand I dislike, it's Lipton (with all due respect, it's just gross) and his tea tasted just like lipton. My suggestions would be just to work on making it more apparent to customers to either wait to pick up their goods or have servers bring it to their table. Now I know better! Other than the minor glitch we experienced; I truly enjoyed my coffee experience here. They have a little fireplace with two couches- ideal for private conversations. They also have plenty of seating if you need quiet study time or if you're looking for some WFH coffee shops! The environment is super chill and just the right place to be. I highly recommend. The staff is super nice- very knowledgeable and attentive. I really was touched by the wall of cups- it was purchased and created by students at a nearby school (but to be honest I don't exactly remember the schools name so look at my picture for details). It's those type of heart felt moments that really make you value a business that believes in giving back to the community and investing into the community. It really makes me want to come back again soon!

Decided to pop in here seeing as I had some time to kill in between appointments. After arriving to the front to have my order taken, it appeared no one could help me even though there were 3 staff members behind the counter gabbing away. It seemed like the conversation they were having was much more important than taking my order, especially when one of the workers approached me to take my order, then kept talking to another customer. I almost walked out. Then another worker came to take my order. At that point I was so unhappy with the service I had a flat affect. My cold brew fine. But would not return here.

This place is so amazing. I was expecting it to be good but it was amazing. I got the bond breakfast sandwich an almond croissant and a raspberry chocolate sweet roll and to drink I got the raspberry truffle cold brew. I couldn't be happier with the way my breakfast turned out and the place itself was clean and had a great feel to it. I'll definitely go back again

I had the blueberry overnight oats and a raspberry truffle latte with oat milk. They are very friendly here and the atmosphere is great. If they are out of something they can improvise and offer a great alternative. Thank you for a quick & easy healthy breakfast. I will definitely be back!

Just ordered the Purple Matcha Potion drink and I'm certain the barista added an extra ingredient that was not supposed to be in there. The drink is made with Sweet Matcha, Butterfly Pea Flower Tea, and Coconut Milk......I could have sworn I saw the guy bring out a gallon of DAIRY to pour into the sweet matcha mixture AND he filled the cup half way with with some dark iced tea looking drink. Needless to say, I don't taste any matcha or butterfly pea flower tea, both of which he put a tiny amount of in my drink. If you're going to include other ingredients into your drink, please disclose that on the menu of ingredients you have online under the drink. Thanks.

Great neighborhood coffee shop! WAY WAY WAY better than DD or SB. I only wish they were open on Saturdays, the one day of the week I don't make my own coffee.

I think the place is cute, but a lot of kinks need to be worked out. I will start on a positive note the $5 oat milk latte did not disappoint I actually enjoyed it. It was smooth and creamy not too sweet either. Now, the Avocado Toast left a lot to be desired. It's missing something. The bread which is one of the few ingredients that goes into this dish is some basic wheat/ multigrain looking toast it didn't taste good it was bland. It's like the toast you make for yourself when you have the stomach flu. The avocado spread had no flavor a little sea salt and lime can make it go a long way and enhance the froyo fruit like toppings they put on top of the avocado spread. Yes, the mango and strawberry they put on the avocado toast was like what you put on your froyo. The syrup it was in didn't mix well with the avocado spread. Maybe try just fresh strawberries and mango? Also, if you look at my picture I posted they gave me brown/ wilted mint leaves on top can we least keep it fresh Bond? For $9 I would give this item a hard pass. I will come back for an oat milk latte but I'm going to have to pass on their food items because they seem a little too overpriced for what you get. I hope this place does well and works out the kinks!

I love having this place near my home. The coffee is great and the specialty drinks they have on the menu are inventive (though they have everything and will make what you like). The pastries are gorgeous and the cheese danish is perhaps the best I've ever had in my life. They have some outdoor tables set up right now, but when we can reopen, it'll be nice to be able to sit by their homey fireplace again. In the meantime, grab yourself a pastry and a coffee to go-- you won't be sorry!

Found this place on Yelp when I had a day off and was looking for a new spot to try for coffee aside from Dunkin' and Starbucks since I had more time. So glad I discovered it! This place is so cute and the workers are very friendly and seem happy to be at work. This place is only about ten minutes from me so I will definitely be back more often now that I know about it. I ordered a cold brew and it was so good I finished the whole thing on my short drive back home. Can't wait to come back and try more!

The food and drinks here SLAP, I'm not a vegetarian person at all but the veggie sausage is really good and the unique drinks are worth paying for. 10/10

Terrible customer service through drive thru. Will NOT be returning, owners did a great job planning and executing, more time should be put into there training and how to use a POS Drive thru reps... can't get a simple order in, the one I dealt with charged me for two coffees two pastries only gave me one coffee, came back said order is complete I asked for receipt they couldn't figure it out. I told them check receipt they didn't know how, I asked for receipt they couldn't provide it. I paid for a THIRD COFFEE to only receive TWO. ***Rep underneath offers to help, doesn't help says they're working on a better team, doesn't offer compensation back for the drink that was never made but WAS charged for. If the business lacks this much character, humility, integrity at an early stage... it's too late your environment is toxic.

Roasted: checked out this place this morning. Great corner location with ample parking and good seating inside. It's very clean, well lit, and has a cute fireplace. Register person was friendly but not engaging. They had a few options for sugar free flavors. They didn't ask if we wanted our drinks for here so they automatically made them in paper to go cups. No latte art on either drink. My latte was burning hot and didn't taste good at all. Partly I'm not a fan of Passion House Espresso which they use but partly because the espresso was over extracted making it taste burnt. His latte was better but still not worth praising over. The barista put our lids on our cups and completely touched the drinking hole with her hands which is always a complete turn off for me. Not a fan. Probably won't seek this place out for another cup of coffee. Unroasted: I have been wanting to review this place for awhile since it just opened up. The coffee shop is spacious and very clean. They greater as we walked up to register and seemed very genuine. Love the abundance of flavors including sugar free flavors. She didn't ask if it was for hear or to go. The barista was friendly quickly made our lattes. My to go cup top did have grounds on it which is not a pleasant sight. My latte was okay. I feel passion house is too green for me now and that's not the fault of the shop. Temperature was right on my latte.

When I saw that a coffee shop was opening down the street from my place, I was excited and looked forward to the opening. I went there the first week they opened and there was a line of about 10-15 people. The line took awhile to get through, understandably, but when taking my order the cashier was really rude and seemed put out that she had to do her job. I brushed it off and went to wait for my order at the end of the bar. While waiting I noticed several different people walk up and ask where their drinks and/or food was, stating that they had been waiting for at least 20min. I saw several orders get sent back because they were wrong. The thing that made it so interesting was that while the "barista" (we'll call him that even though my drink was cold and wrong) was making my drink, he was getting in an argument with a woman who's had to send her order back 3 times. The overall atmosphere was aggressive in a bad way. Despite a terrible first experience, I decided to try it again a few months later. It was way less busy (normal traffic for mid day at a coffee shop) and I was able to order right away. I went over to wait for my drink. I'm watching the barista (different person, same problem though, cold and wrong) and I see 2 separate drink orders come back because they ordered hot and she made cold. She then did the same thing to me and when I corrected her, she seemed really annoyed and then made me a barely lukewarm drink. So, after trying it twice with time between and completely different staff, I would say that I am so disappointed with how bad this place is. I really wanted a solid place close by. Also, it seems as though they respond to bad reviews, saying they're sorry and they're working on being better and to email them so they can make it right but from what I've seen from others reviews, they never actually make it right. All of the 5 star reviews seem to be overwhelmingly fake and generic as if the owners got a bunch of people they know to write reviews. The only real reviews (also the only negative reviews) seem to be negative and my experience has been totally congruent with the other real reviews.

I've been anticipating the opening of Bond Coffee for awhile and was very excited to attend the grand opening with one of my best friends. Upon entering, we felt a great ambience with a cozy and attractive interior design. However, our overall experience was not what we had expected. We were very much aware that this was the first day and predicted slower service but my friends and I literally stood in line for over 25 minutes and there were only 4-5 customers in front of us the entire time. Once got to the counter to place our two drink orders, the cashier was not welcoming to us. I gave her our order and then she kept asking what I meant or was questioning to herself and other workers whether they carried the certain ingredient when it was already listed on their drink menu. After that, I had to repeat my drink order 3 times with the specifications about the type of syrup I wanted (my iced coffee was very simple). Then 5 minutes later when she asked me to pay, I noticed she charged me twice for a drink. My friend informed her that she charged us twice and she snapped saying "I KNOW" very rudely. Regardless we ignored her rude response and left a tip. Upon receiving our drinks, they were good but our experience was tainted from the overall customer service we received. We are going to give it another try in a month or so and we are hoping for a better first impression than the one we had today. *Update* The customer service commented on the original post to tell me to respond and email to their support team about the problems I faced at my experience but only respond with generic solutions and no compensation to try give Bond another try and seems to send off a generic response email to everyone that had similar experiences. Very disappointed.

Me and my sister came to try this place out and I really wasn't expecting much so I was very pleasantly surprised. I got an almond croissant which I was expecting to be kind of shrimpy and dry and sad but it was a huge, beautiful pastry stuffed with cream. I probably shouldn't have scarfed down the whole thing but it was too delicious. I also tried the raspberry truffle cold brew which I was afraid would be too sweet but it was just right too. My only regret was that I didn't get a bigger size. The prices are really reasonable for what it is and it's really nice to have the option for my sister to get something kosher without me having to eat something shitty. Very impressive.

Service/Food Really was hoping I'd like this place since the Starbucks on Howard and Western is closed. Stopped in on a Sunday wanting the veggie hummus toast, they were out of hummus, I asked for it to be paired with the avocado mash, then I was informed they were out of veggies. Opted for the lox platter, with avocado mash, the most bland lox platter I've ever had, don't expect it to be like avocado toast from other places, its literally just smashed avocado. The 3 stars is for a great striped caramel latte w/ almond milk, the barista is skilled, and the effort because the area has no coffee houses. Environment If you're coming here to study, stop turn around, it's not that type of coffee house. This is a family coffee house, the kind with screaming toddlers, and parents that lack consideration for the other customers. Let me be clear that there were 3 unruly children (3yrs and older), 2 of them kept sitting at the table we were sitting at when we would go to get our coffee, the dad said nothing, he actually began taking their picture . Once we had finished our food we pulled out our laptop to go over some work, and then the 3rd kid began screaming and screeching... after 3-5 mins I said let's just go. It's a cute place, there's definitely no coffee houses in the area but it's not for studying or reading. If I ever stop back it would be to take the caramel latte to go.

I'm so happy this place recently opened up by my work! The neighborhood definitely needed a good coffee shop. I had the agave and rose iced latte with cashew milk and it was DELICIOUS! I also had the avocado toast which was unique since the toppings were fruit instead of veggies. The staff was super friendly, but the one negative thing I'll say is the check out process was very slow. I'll definitely be coming back soon!

I drive past here all the time and it's always closed by the time I think about going... so today I was passing super early and decided to try. Overall in my opinion don't waste your time. I ordered a bond taco and an Americano with coconut milk. Although the pricing is amazing in comparison to like a Starbucks or something like that, the quality definitely matches the pricing. First of all The eggs and veggie sausage were ice cold even though it was wrapped in foil... the americano did not have coconut milk and tasted burnt. Also I offered to pay for the vehicle behind me, as I try to do this once a week when I can, and was given a dirty look when I didn't tip for that vehicle. I explained she could tip and I got the eye roll and very assertive "no she can't so..." I was trying to be nice ‍ anyway with as many people who were just standing around I'm sure they couldn't done better by at least providing warm eggs and veggie sausage in the taco. Any who I will not be testing the waters again to say the least

I've been in a few times now and everytime I am not disappointed. As with any newer business it did take a bit for the employees to learn their roles and routines and gain confidence, but now that they are feeling sure-footed I am seeing more customer engagement and traction. I appreciate that the cashier takes their time with every customer to ensure their orders are correct. The food is incredible even more so due to the fact that EVERYTHING is 100% kosher certified. Their bar employees have nailed every beverage I've ordered- shout out to Alanna for rocking it! Not to mention their cozy atmosphere and interactive play areas for kids. This was a much needed addition to this area. I think that this is a very special place for our community and we all should keep our eyes on it as this business grows. I can't wait to see what else you can bring!

I am reluctant to post this, but hoping to see some corrective actions taken. I have been anticipating the opening of Bond Coffee, since even before the remodel. I was excited to hopefully swap out my everyday Starbucks routine on my way to work, but that definitely won't happen. I went through the drive through, the wait was long, but I assumed it was because inside was packed. No biggie. I ordered two mocha cinnamon iced coffees- 12oz, a bagel and one danish. The total was $18.74. When I pulled up to the window, the cashier let me know that my order was complete after only handing me ONE coffee and the bag of food. I politely let her know that I ordered two coffees and she told me "I only charged you for one, so you want another or no?" I kindly told her yes, I'd like another. After doing the math in my head (4.99 coffee, 3.99 bagel, 3.29 danish) I requested that she checked the system to see what I was charged for. She told me she "would" but then had another one of her colleagues come "check" to just tell me I didn't pay for the second. Since I needed a second drink, I paid for another. I asked for a receipt and they wouldn't provide me with one. Zero customer service. I ordered my drinks with almond milk, 100% the drinks were made with regular milk. Overly sweet and the cup was only 3/4 full. The bagel didn't come with a knife to spread the cream cheese and the danish was underwhelming. So nearly $25 for such a poor experience. I'll have to eat the money they robbed me of and go get another coffee and danish from Starbucks. Bummer. I would NOT recommend UPDATE: after replying to the comment from the Bond employee below - they did NOT offer to refund the money they robbed me of, or offer any type of gift card so I can try Bond again. So 100% will never ever be back.

a vegetable bowl was 7 dollars for a small container. The food was freezer burnt and gave me and all my friends explosive diarrhea. the food was gross and definitely not worth the $7 plus tax. They served it in a CRACKED plastic container

Great coffee and breakfast sandwich! First time visiting this morning and I was very impressed by the service. Def worth checking out!

Super cute spot in the middle of Rogers park where the old bank used to be. Nice drive through, plenty of seating inside and really cute interior decor. Baristas are friendly and accommodating of any millennial request :) They have great coffee options, I'm a huge fan of them having OAT milk, hard to get (Starbucks doesn't even have it). Yummy looking food options too and even had samples of Avocado Toast topped with fruit, so good. Cherry on top this place is Kosher CRC. So maybe it won't be open Friday-Saturday night, but I'm so glad it's there to drive my Monday-Friday coffee cravings. My only suggestion would be to get Bond branded cups so we can post on insta.

I loved the ambiance at Bond Coffee Collective. It feels like an urban hipster coffee shop. All the coffee drinks both hot and iced were very good. The breakfast sandwich and lox platter were made to order and delicious. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well as parking available. The employees were very friendly and didn't complain when I modified my order.

I'll be back! When I first pulled in in a cold rainy day, I almost left because there was no parking mainly because one car took up two spots. I'm glad I waited. The Bond breakfast sandwich was amazing! Even the pico de gallo tasted super fresh in the middle of winter. The cranberry muffin was difficult to share with my son because it was baked to perfection. I ordered the cinnamon cafe mocha. I am hard to please with this beverage and I was curious to see if Bold would nail it and they did. The espresso was smooth with the perfect balance of cinnamon and mocha. Usually I find them too sweet or the cinnamon over done. It seemed very clean and the staff was friendly. I have to say that Bond is my new favorite local Evanston coffee shop. I'll be waking there more often.

I really want Luke this place because it's in the neighborhood. It's a little expensive but it's local and I like to support Indie businesses. However, first time there they mixed up our orders and gave us small drinks when we asked for large. And, second time I used the drive thru and it took a looong time to get my drink (6 min or more). My bad luck? Maybe the 3rd time's the charm? I'll update if I give them another try.

I had great experience just got a smoothie, so can't say much about other stuff,I went through drive thru,so have no idea how is in there I'm very sure it's similar to Starbucks,but they have more variety,will be back to try other food and drinks next time

Solid new coffee, juice/smoothie, baked goods and diary lunch spot, everything under the cRc. Chic decor, it seemed like a cool place to meet up with friends or just hang out. We come in about once a month from Milwaukee and will work it into our itinerary frequently. To the owners, Milwaukee is craving this and a few empty storefronts on Downer and Kenwood would be the perfect spot to expand!

This is my favorite coffee shop in Evanston/Rogers Park. If you're trying to evaluate whether my liking this coffee shop indicates you'll like this coffee shop, it's important to note that I'm not much of a coffee hipster. My tastes for coffee shops are defined in some order by the following questions: 1. Do they have reasonably priced black coffee? (cross out Philz Coffee on Davis) 2. Do they have consistent wifi without a time limit? 3. Do they have a nice ambiance in which to get work done? 4. Do I like the other people frequenting the coffee shop? On these margins, I've found Bond to better than any coffee shop in Evanston, and also perhaps compared to any in Rogers Park. The tables have sufficient width and depth to have a laptop, notebook, and textbook all on your table. I rarely see any undergrads here - it's too far west to get any Loyola/Northwestern students. About 50 - 75% of the clientele are the local Orthodox Jewish community. I like occasionally hearing Hebrew as background noise while working. If you care about pastries, I think they have the best ones I've had at any coffee shop. They're fresh from some nearby kosher bakery. They've also got RX bars priced at not unreasonable markups, and cucumber water on tap, both of which I appreciate. I can't really comment on some of the other reviews complaining about too little matcha in their latte, or insufficient mint leaves on their avocado toast. I'm just looking to rent some wifi for a few hours when I get tired of working in a library, and Bond is as good as it gets in the local area.

Great new addition to Evanston- Tasty lattes and the interior of the cafe is super comfortable- looking forward to sitting in front of the fireplace in the winter. Also, their baked goods have a different vendor from all other coffee shops in the area and are solid (I highly recommend their poppyseed danish, best I've had in the US.)

Im actually sitting in the coffee shop now as I write this review. Heard about this place from a few friends and have been excited to check it out as this area has needed a coffee shop for some time! I'm loving the vibe so far. Nice solid work tables and steady wifi, my cappuccino is good - no complaints. The workers and clientele are diverse and the atmosphere is inclusive. One small suggestion is to have coffee mugs so I don't have to use paper/plastic everytime I order. Welcome to the neighborhood!

I really enjoyed my experience at Bond Coffee Collective!! Service was pleasant and attentive, cold brew was smooth and delicious.....and that Chocolate Croissant or whatever that beautiful thing was, was outstanding. So chocolatey! I find some of the previous reviews to be very unfair....every new business will have kinks to iron out. Patience is a virtue that many people seem to be lacking. Keep up the good work and I hope that your cute little business flourishes! I will 100% be back!

I always have a pleasant experience at Bond. I stop here before running my errands. Depending on my mood I either get one of their delicious smoothies, truffle popcorn or coffee. I highly recommend the mocha! This is also one of the few places I know that had an acai bowl, which is pretty good as well.

Had such a nice Sunday morning here! The ambience was perfect - good background music and comfortable seating. The pastries are absolutely delicious - we got the cheese bun and raspberry chocolate croissant. so good. Coffee is freshly brewed and totally hit the spot. And the service was super friendly and helpful. Hoping to make this a regular Sunday morning experience! Also looking forward to grabbing a salad on the way to work this week.
