Bondi Sushi

Bondi sushi was an awesome experience for me and brownie . Wow highly recommend coming in during weeknights after happy hour! Got treated like a vip haha . Food was 10/10 I still dream of the seared toro yummy. The sake was so tasty and as for my to-go order the chicken was so crispy and juicy inside with their sauce on the side. Even my dog brownie got to try some rice. Pet friendly is very important for me . Not only was the service above and beyond , the atmosphere and the energy of the staff everyone was very friendly . I can't wait to return, and bring my friends along. Thank you Duban and sushi chefs for the best sushi experience!

Even that the chefs are not native Japanese we are so amazed happy and please that the dishes are delicious and authentic… Human factor is really nice in here… The Peruvian chefs Victor and Edwin are really knowledgeable as Peruvian… we really love Bondi on Tuesday nights… Midtown Vane is really nice and the other helpers as well.. Try it… Really well recommended

Must try when in midtown. Our server Ryan made sure we had an amazing lunch. Nigiri, Sashimi Hand rolls were delicious. Definitely going back 🙏🏼

Not a complaint over the food, it was great. It’s about the service and atmosphere:. I arrived with my friend, place was completely empty. We sat in the middle of the bar, instantly she asked me if it was ok we sat at the table instead because her back was hurting. She knew I was going to order a bunch of food. (She doesn’t each seafood or any sushi) She asked the guy that sat us if it was okay to sit at the table instead. Mind you, we just sat down, no drinks yet; nothing. He gave her a look and said “okay” very weird.. we proceed to sit and I look behind me and he rolled his eyes over at us and said something to the chef and the guy laughed. Bill comes, I tapped, no questions, and he automatically says just letting you know the tip isn’t included so you leave something. I was so shocked and it’s just me and my friend. I gave the lowest and ran out. I felt so uncomfortable.

We love Bondi Sushi!! Always a great experience!! Duban was awesome and our chef Edwin is incredible!! We had the best special made for us!!

I had an amazing experience at bondi , Byron was the chef preparing my sushi right in front of me, and watching him work was both mesmerizing and impressive. His attention to detail, precision, and creativity made each piece a true work of art—and the flavors were just as incredible. You can tell he takes great pride in his craft. Marco, the manager, also made the experience even better. He was attentive, welcoming, and made sure everything on the floor ran smoothly. From making sure my water was refilled to checking in with genuine care, he went above and beyond. The combination of world-class sushi and warm, professional service made this a standout night. I’ll definitely be back!

I ordered several nigiri, a crispy rice spicy tuna, and edamame. As a pescatarian who eats sushi multiple times a week, I have never encountered fish of such poor quality in my life. The fish smelled bad, the colors were unnatural, and the texture looked like something molded from playdough. The crispy rice spicy tuna tasted like flour and resembled salmon rather than tuna—it was bright orange, though who knows why. Even the toro looked dreadful. I’m fairly certain there was salmon in my nigiri, even though I never ordered salmon. The edamame was equally awful. This entire order was inedible and went straight into the trash. Truly disgraceful—food of this quality should not be served to humans. This establishment has no business being open. Close your doors and do something else.

I ordered takeout. The fish was foul tasting (yellowtail jalapeño), the spicy salmon was ok, but the last piece I had was also fishy and foul tasting and I had to spit it out. The salmon sashimi is excellent!! The spicy crab roll was not rolled correctly lol. Maybe it was a fluke, I’ve ordered in the past, and for the most part my orders have been average to excellent, but I randomly get a fishy tasting roll every second order…. I’m concerned about quality control, it’s like Russian roulette with this place….

Great experience sitting at the bar and getting hand rolls. Love the deal that is 5 hand rolls for $40. Wagyu and toro were my favorites. Service was great & it's super nice & clean inside!

This place is great because of their amazing happy hour, especially considering their location. Hand rolls for only $5 and they are pretty tasty too! Their n/a drinks options are pretty good as well, my yuzu matcha was delicious. And the desert yuzu creme brulee was also decent. One thing, there isn't much room inside for big parties, they only had one table for a group of 4, so keep that in mind if you're planning to come with friends. Another thing, their HH is good but there's only alcoholic drinks on it, so if you want something n/a you actually have to pay more haha, weird.

Prob one of the best happy hours around with $5 beers $5 hand rolls every weekday from 3-7. The fish is pretty fresh especially if you go early in the week --I have been once while they were busy and felt the fish was off but out of the 100 times I've been there I've never had a bad experience. The chefs are soooo nice and really give you the perfect portions. It's an omakase style so it's small and intimate and it can get pricey after happy hour with some rolls at $30 but I think the HH, drinks, and the sushi pieces are worth it.

Stopped in here for a quick meal. The inside has a sleek, modern style that matched the experience well. I went with the five hand rolls for $40, which were all really good. My favorite was definitely the lobster. Sitting at the bar was a nice vibe, and I liked how the chef handed each hand roll to us directly. The server was friendly and attentive, and service overall was quick. I only tried the hand rolls, which were solid, and the cocktail I ordered was good but a little on the sweet side for my taste. Overall, a good neighborhood spot to check out.

Beautiful bar sushi spot in midtown. High quality sushi. I love the tuna crispy rice and the Wagyu hand roll. They are a must if you eat here. Edamame is always a must for me as well with my sushi. The service is phenomenal. They have a rewards program too. The interior decor is lovely as well. Highly recommend!!

I always order from Bondi on Uber Eats and it always comes fresh and nicely packaged in a box separated with all of the accoutrements for sushi. I love that they have the cauliflower rice option. And you have to try the Wagyu dumplings.

Great sushi, especially if you like hand rolls. They have a great variety and all were good. The best hand roll was probably the spicy blue crab. The spicy tuna crispy rice was also delicious. The inside is all bar seating and they have a few tables outside. Service was good and they provided us with some excellent recommendations.

Loved trying this in Miami for happy hour even with several locations in NYC where I'm from! I wasn't aware the happy hour of $5 lobster hand rolls extended to salmon avocado, spicy crab, yellowtail, etc hand rolls too! As well as 6 piece crispy rice for $12, with cocktails priced at $8 and wine at $5. Very easy to overindulge here and I love it! The service is very fast and the staff is sweet and personable! It was easy to grab a table outside or at the bar around 6pm on a Thursday and I tried a bunch of things! My favorites were the lobster handroll, yellowtail crispy rice and my cocktail Seafoam was soooo pretty (and strong). Apparently there's lunch specials too! Will definitely be back as it's very close to the hotel I stay at in Miami.

I ordered takeout, The bliss box was great although the hamachi jalapeño roll was not up to par with what ive had from other restaurants. the spicy tuna was tiny and disappointing not as good as Moshi Moshi in regards to the flavor of the tuna and crispiness of the rice, the Sea Scallop Nigiri was tiny as well which is understandable because it was $9 but it was delicious, what really did it for me though was the horrible wait time (40 minutes for pickup) and the fact that they don't give you any wasabi & ginger with your order, soy sauce is all you get I've never seen that done before and im hoping that's not the norm. Other than the 2 major red flags the sushi was good

Just wow! Idk what else to say but Ong I love this place! Great service and the food is out of this world! Crafted to perfection and the fish is so fresh! Please come now. The environment is out of this world good!

Came here by myself for happy hour. The place was empty, which is fine, I got there at 5 o'clock. The hand rolls are all five dollars, which is a great price. I got the spicy blue crab hand roll, which was really delicious. The crispy rice is priced at $12 as opposed to the normal 18. I got the spicy tuna crispy rice and the salmon crispy rice. The tuna was paired with jalapeño and avocado, and it was a classic spic tuna crispy rice as you would expect. The salmon and crispy rice however, was not good. It was just crispy rice with a thin piece of salmon on top. Nothing thoughtful about it like the tuna crispy rice. The crab roll came out quickly but the crispy rice took a while considering I was the only person in the restaurant. I would definitely come back for the hand rolls- but wouldn't get the crispy rice again.

What a pleasant surprise. I have ordered from here before with uber eats, but never been in person. It was so good and happy experience. The staff is so friendly is a small place and they make you feel at home. The sushi was so fresh and yummy I eaten at the best Omakase restaurants and their fish was as fresh. The most amazing part fairly price. Also their yuzu crème brûlée you have got to have it. So light and the yuzu comes through perfectly. Will make this a weekly spot for a solo dinner be user is just that great.

Bondi Sushi is incredible -- fresh, flavorful sushi and even better service. Huge shout-out to Abraham, Mario, and Victor for always going above and beyond. They make every visit feel special. Highly recommend!

So so so yummy! Please make your way to San Diego! The truffle avocado and spicy blue crab were my favorites. We ordered several variety boxes for a yacht day. They held well and were still so so yummy.

Hospitality from Chef Ariel mejia and Scoob was amazing. Sushi was amazing!! And so was my drinks. Thank you Chef Ariel and Scoob for the amazing experience. We will come back.

Stopped in to quickly try their happy hour. They had $5 hand rolls and they were quick and amazing. I got the lobster, crab, spicy tuna, and the yellowtail. All were so fresh. I love that they make one at a time and serve you directly. It's my favorite way to eat sushi. They also had a $14 sake flight I plan to try next visit. The chef was so sweet checking in on my between rolls. A very tiny, intimate place great date night idea

Salmon Toast, Crispy Rice Tuna/Lobster Yuzu, Pork Belly Bao Bun & Seared O Toro Nigiri were Phenomenal. 1st time here and the service was on point from the get go. Mustapha, Edwin & everybody else were super friendly. We'll be back soon with more friends. A HOT Spot in the heart of MidTown. A++++

It's below average at best unfortunately. I got about 5 different rolls and they all tasted the same (varied only a little in flavor). If you want a quick take out or casual meal bellyfsh is x10 better.

We come here often and it's always a great experience! Our favorite waiter Marco is incredibly attentive and super friendly. we love seeing him every time we visit. The happy hour deal is unbeatable, and we always order the hand rolls, gyoza, and our personal favorite, the salmon sashimi. The food is consistently fresh & delicious and amazing service keep us coming back!

Came back for dinner and the second time was just as amazing!! Everyone is extremely attentive and friendly. The fish is very fresh. Definitely recommend getting a bunch of crispy rice and hand rolls. The sake is very good too! They had a DJ tonight as well which was a fun ambience for a Saturday night. Edzel was amazing!!

Food at Bondi is THE BEST; fresh, & delicious. The cocktails are also great, and the beer on draft is yum! They have a great happy hour that can't be beat. I love the atmosphere as well. So why do they get 3 stars? The service is painfully slow & random. Everyone is nice, but they're just....soooo....slow.... My husband got his food before the kids, I got mine at the end. It's such a let down. I get it, the chef puts food out as it's being made, but maybe they could time it a little better. Not to mention you're waiting forever to get food in the first place. I want to come here more often, but you gotta decide if you have 90 mins for sushi or not....

Sushi is soooo expensive in Midtown/Design Dist/Wynwood, you'd expect it to be great. Bondi is somewhat reasonably priced but not so great quality and limited menu. I ordered a Bliss Box but finished unblissed. The spicey tuna roll was mealy, the tuna and salmon sushi tasted and ate unfresh. Great shushi has a fresh firmness; not so much here. Not a fan, I'm afraid.

I just ate at bondi sushi for the first time. I was so happy with the service, Marco was my server I came to try the lunch special and everything was exceptional! It was busy but everything still came out at a very timely manner and Marco was able to help me pick out some of his favorite dishes on the menu as well. I tried the tuna crispy rice as well as the yellow tail and the lobster yuzu handroll. All three were delicious and the price for these items along with the quality is what blew me away. They have great quality fish and the vibe of the restaurant is so cute and the perfect place to grab lunch with your girlfriends. It is family friendly as well and I will be coming back and asking for Marco!

I ordered the omakase here and everything was delicious the toro pieces were my favorite. The service was exceptional I highly recommend this spot. It's a very small quiet place perfect for a date.

I have ordered from Bondi sushi on DoorDash and Uber eats. Today I was able to enjoy them in person. The team there are amazing and kind. Bondi Sushi is super cute, the food is absolutely delicious, the best sushi in Florida .

Unreal sushi experience. Handcrafted in front of you with care and precision. Unique indoor vibes too. Get nigiri and hand rolls, and especially the blue crab hand roll. Won't regret it. Bravo.

Upon entering, you're promptly greeted with music, a smile, and guided to bar-style seating. Our server was attentive and helpful. We ordered four dishes in total, and each one came out better than the last. We also had some sake--can't remember the name, but it was in a black can. Highly recommend it! Watching the sushi chef prepare your meal right in front of you adds a unique touch, and the freshness of the food is unquestioned! We left feeling pleasantly full, not overly stuffed or bloated from too much salt. The only drawback was the seating--at 5'3", my feet dangled and eventually fell asleep, making for an uncomfortable dining experience. I suggest raising the foot bar or switching your stools. That being said, I am very much looking forward to coming back!

Figure out the takeout service. You have a separate entrance for take-out so you're definitely looking to grow this business 12/8/24 your takeout hostess/cashier was overwhelmed. Forty min from ordering in person to walking out the door. People ordering after me received their orders first. Crab in the crab roll was not the freshest. No utensils for miso soups, seaweed salad or two bento boxes. Wtf Your hostess/cashier is not a multi-tasker. You hired incorrectly for the position.

This place never misses! I dropped in solo, and as always, Chefs Luis and Byron were killing it behind the bar. The Toro nigiri was buttery and perfect, and the spicy crab hand roll hit the spot. The vibes here are always on point, and Edzell took great care of me, making me feel right at home. I come to sit with Luis a lot and finally met Edzell today, so now I have two lovely faces to come see at Bondi!

I have to say bondi sushi has become my favorite restaurant for weekends to share with friends and family. I've been going to Bondi Sushi for three consecutive weeks now, and yes, I'm obsessed! But it's just so good! The omakase is delicious, the wagyu options are so tender that they melt in your mouth, and guess what?! That's not all, Bondi Sushi just opened a new location in MIDTOWN MIAMI! I love having different location options to make it convenient wherever I am; just a quick stop for delicious food. Plus, in Midtown, they have a unique hot plates menu that you can't miss out on! I'll definitely be back this weekend

Portion is extremely small, food tastes weird, our to go order took more than 40 minutes, while the restaurant was not busy at all. How do you make poke bowls taste bad. Don't understand how they stay in business.

Delicious, and bomb new spot in Midtown. What sold me is their Happy Hour! Get the hot and spicy crab roll, plus yellowfin with scallion, then lobster with yuzu. Yum x3.

All the staff are very attentive to the clients. The food arrived quickly and was extremely delicious. The place itself was beautiful and clean. It's one of the best restaurants in Bondi and the entire country. I highly recommend it.

Bondi in midtown was as personable as it gets with Japanese sushi. Truly a wonderful experience with exquisite sushi. we went for valentines and the set menu was pwrfecrly portioned with enough to leave with a full stomach. the itamae chef and edwin not only got to know us personally but made sure the experience was memorable. definitely will be coming back!

New sushi bar in Midtown. Excellent sushi and hip environment with really friendly servers. We had the lunch specials and absolutely loved everything we ate.

Honestly some of the best sushi we've ever eaten. Can't wait to go back. I highly recommend the Sea Scallop nigiri, Yellowtail nigiri, the Toro and Scallop roll, and the Spicy Hamachi roll.

The best!!!! I love this place it's ver convenient for me since I live 1 block away. The service is a1 & the sushi is amazing.
