Great experience at Bond St at Hudson Yard! Unique sushi dishes and fun atmosphere. The waiter made wonderful recommendations that we may have selected on our own. Also got a delicious mocktail. Definitely a high end restaurant but I highly recommend a visit.

We were seated right away and the service was great. They constantly checked on us while bringing out dish after dish. Now the food was AMAZING can not complain about a single one. The tuna pizza and crispy rice are a must. Cocktails were on point too. It’s pricey but worth every penny.

This restaurant boasts a truly fantastic location, offering incredible views that immediately set a wonderful, mood-elevating atmosphere. The quality across the entire menu is exceptional, living up to its high standards whether you order from the kitchen, the sushi bar, or the dessert selection. The sushi and sashimi deserve special mention. They were not only visually stunning and meticulously crafted but also delivered an exceptional taste experience. The flavors expertly fused the essence of traditional Japanese sushi with contemporary, stylish elements. Overall, it was a superb dining adventure. The food, ambiance, and views combined perfectly to create significant value and a memorable experience. Highly recommend for a special occasion or anyone seeking top-tier Japanese cuisine with a modern twist.

We reserved a table and came for weekday lunch. All of the food options sounded exciting and were beautifully presented. The bento boxes were certainly a highlight of the menu, and they also had a good lunch prix fixe. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of vegetarian options. Highly recommend the nasu dengaku steamed buns and agedashi tofu. The only disappointment may have been my dessert. I got the ricotta mousse trifle, and given the description and presentation had high expectations, however, it tasted a bit boring. Overall, the restaurant is trendy and well executed.

Natalio, our server (I hope I’m getting his name right) was absolutely a pleasure to talk to and made our visit to BONDST amazing. The ambiance, the service, and overall flow of the restaurant was fantastic. I will definitely be coming back here again. We were able to catch the sunset and seated by the window. We had the branzino which was to die for, and the bread pudding is a must. Can’t say enough good things about this place. 💯

It’s just ok, nothing special. We are promptly seated and the seats for some ungodly reason are butt and cheek. Someone had their bag in the seat and they had to move it so I can sit down. I am amazed they don’t have those table hooks women place their designer bags so they aren’t on the floor or taking space that makes the seating even more claustrophobic. One martini espresso that was served it was anemic in taste even the color of the drink was off putting. We wanted to order appetizers first but that is a NO GO here. We were told that they prefer the table’s order was out all in at the same time. Therefore, they set the stage for conveyor belt eating. It’s not fine dining here. It’s plop and serve. The waiters can’t even serve you from the side they just slide the plates on the table. This is definitely not a place you would take a date or propose to someone. The butt and cheek seating makes intimate conversations almost out of the question. While on design, the bamboo ceiling is different. The place setting is basic. The table is basic. It’s just a basic restaurant that wants you in and out. Now let’s discuss the food. I checked several tables. The big eye tuna tarts is popular. The grilled steak was good but at 58 dollars not outstanding. The lobster tempura roll was ho hum and the Hamachi quartet was ok. Look by the time you walk through Hudson Yards to get to the Fifth floor to eat here you would hope this place was special. It is not. It’s a basic Japanese meal that was ok. I thought the sushi at Wegmans was better.

Sweet sushi spot in the HY shops! The tuna crispy rice and the scallops jalapeno roll were delicious. The chocolate molten cake is yummyyyyy :D This would have been a 5/5 if not for the bright lights in the lounge which, personally, made me feel that I was a in mall restaurant. Perhaps it was just during the time of the day I went (after 230p), but a little bit of dim would be cooler. Update: the ambience is so much better now. And every time I come here, I walk away thinking that was worth it - the food quality and service quality are great.

The BondST vibe has officially arrived at Hudson Yards, and it does not disappoint. Sleek, stylish, and buzzing with energy, this location brings that downtown cool to a more polished, uptown-feeling setting. The sushi is just as incredible as the original—super fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. I tried a mix of their signature rolls and hot dishes, and everything was on point. The cocktails were just as good—creative and smooth. The space is modern and sexy, perfect for a night out, a date, or dinner with friends. It does get crowded (of course!), so expect a bit of a wait if you’re walking in. But if you’re into great food with a side of style, BondST Hudson Yards is a must-visit. @raquelgerlani
