So you’re telling I was charged $1.99 for one, Just one roasted Jalapeno when majority of all restaurants give you at least 3 or more. Ya freaken greedy. Besides thisss Birra noodles was good so far better than other locations I have tried the flavor wasnt salty, lightly flavored but good. Birra taco were good too. Didn’t finish trying the carne asada nachos became too full.. took two stars I felt that was a petty sell for just 1 chile but everything else delicious

I had an incredible dining experience at Bonitas! Their pozole is, without a doubt, the most delicious I've ever tasted, red chimichanga, birria ramen noodles, and the birria tacos were equally fantastic. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the lady who took my order was exceptionally kind and welcoming. I can't recommend this place enough!

Not only was the food delicious at this place, but the people there are friendly, and the restaurant itself was super clean and smelled good when I walked in and everyone had a smile on their face. Everyone was welcoming. I could tell you this was my first time coming there and guarantee it will not be my Last …… I definitely recommend anyone who wants good authentic home cook Mexican food to come here there was a few lovely ladies in the back cooking ….all the food looked n tasted homemade

I would honestly give zero Stars if I could. Gave this place a try, we ordered on Uber eats, Pollo asada fries and Pollo asada burrito. Neither of which had Pollo asada in them, instead there was some weird type of canned chicken that tasted like canned tuna, and was absolutely inedible. Will never order from here again. The food was terrible 😩

Love the decor in this place! Stopped for the first time and wanted to try the birria. I ordered the birria queso taco combo which comes with 3 tacos, consome, rice and beans. Great value. Huge portion. Everything was delicious. Mild salsa was very good also (just used it on my rice - the birria is perfect with the consome). Definitely coming back to try other menu items when I’m in the area!

This place is amazing. Great vibe, food, service and the pozole has a ton of flavor. This is my new go to place.

If I could give 0 stars I would please don't even give it a try I ordered menudo & the birria tacos, menudo tastes like it's missing all the flavors almost as if it's watered down, the birria comes w consome & it's disappointing it tastes like they got done cooking the birria tacos and wiped the grease off the grill & added some water to it. I don't ever leave bad reviews but it was terrible I tried adding the lemon & onion & cilantro it comes w & nothing could fix it. It was so bad that I just threw it away I & my brother tried to force eat it bc we spent $60 on it but we just threw it bc it was that bad. If you're a white person that doesn't like flavor & spice then order it but if your of any ethnic background save your money do not order from here

Place was a walk up counter service . Very nice people . #food was good and I'll be back . They open up early so that's a plus . The pozole was meaty the flavor was there but it's a fast food Mexican place so I would say it's good

Top quality food! I am so impressed with the serving size of the street tacos meal and the carne asada is SO good. The beans are full of flavor. Service was fantastic. Overall we had a great experience.

great food, terrible service. gentle who waited on me was on phone. couldn't put it down to help me. i got a carne asada quesadilla and a large ice tea, for the second week in a row, no sweetener for ice tea. i dined in , never offered me chips, customer s who came in right after me were offered chips and salsa, but not me. this guy doesn't care.

The food here is amazing and the service is fantastic. It's a nice, calm spot, perfect for any meal. On the smaller side, but the best places usually are. You can tell everyone working here truly cares about this restaurant and the food.

This Mexican eatery is very casual, small but not cramped, the prices are good and the food is okay - quite average in my opinion. The wait for the tacos I ordered took longer than I had expected, considering the place was quiet when I was there. It's across the street from ASU West so it was what you'd pretty much expect for an eatery in a college area.

My wife and I have ordered take out from bonitas a few time. Prices are good and food is decent. Only problem is that my favorite dish - the Birria tacos - don't really travel well. I've never had them at the restaurant so I can't really judge the quality of the dine in experience, but by thine I get home with my order the taco shells are always a bit soggy. That said, the tacos are stuffed with a generous amount of meat and the consome dipping sauce is flavorful. We also frequently order the flautas which actually do travel quite well. They're also generously stuffed and somehow always crispy despite being buried under a heap load of toppings. Recently my wife ordered an enchilada style burrito which she wasn't super happy with. The enchilada sauce is a red sauce base which isn't her favorite and the whole thing was still kind of dry. Overall, this place is decent if you're in the Glendale area and jonesing for Birria and other Mexican food staples.

Bonitas is a small casual Mexican Restaurant located in North Glendale. They offer some alcohol, breakfast, soups, a variety of tacos, burros, salads, combination plates, Birria, Birria Ramen, a kids menu, desserts and more! Ordering is slightly disjointed. Half the menu is on a wall and the the other half a menu is behind the counter. You order, pay, seat yourself, and someone runs out your order. My husband ordered a variety of street tacos (most were ONLY $1.50),.......also a birria taco, and rice and beans. I tried the Birria Ramen. Everything was at least good but to us some things stood out more than others. Our favorites were the carnitas, adobada, and the birria taco and Birria Ramen. These were all tasty very flavorful GOOD FOOD. The man at the counter was very nice and helpful. The restaurant seemed clean and parking was easy because they are located at the end of a strip mall with a parking lot.

Tacos tacos tacos not the same so delicious. Good small local spot. Menudo is also bomb. Have a beer and a taco good shit!!!!

The jalapeño poppers are bomb asf bruh! You know how some can come all soggy and shit, well not these!! They are crispy and filled with deliciousness. Birria quesadilla is bomb asf too. The red chile burritos are good and remind me of home made food. Tortas are good too! Chill people. Good people. Chill place

My wife and I got Bonitas via delivery last night and judging from the rest of the reviews, I really wish we had gone into the restaurant or at the very least gotten takeout ourselves. Don't get me wrong. The food was good, but when you've got your food held hostage in a styrofoam container being driven lazily around the city by an Uber Eats driver - it's not the restaurant, it's the delivery. I went with the bean/cheese burrito + taco combo. After the hot food is placed in the styrofoam delivery container and then wrapped up tightly in a plastic bag and then driven casually from Point A to Point B by the Uber Eats driver, the food is essentially continuing to steam itself in the container. This made the taco fall apart when I attempted to pick it up. It made the rice soggy. It made the tortilla of my burrito feel chewy. I don't think this is any fault of Bonitas. I'm sure the food would have appeared fresher and tasted fresher had we eaten in vs. gotten delivery. All in all, I'll likely be back to try Bonitas again. I want to give them a fair shot as since they've gotten a lot of positive reviews, I'm blaming this mediocre experience on the fact that we had our dinner delivered.

Food was just okay. But, my stomach hurt a couple of hours later and was on the toilet all night. Take that as you well. I also want to mention my experience when I was ordering. While I was sitting waiting for my food, my credit monitoring app alerted me they charged me twice. I brought it to their attention and they checked on their end, and they gave me cash to refund me for the accident.

Maybe I must have ordered the wrong item but wow this was below average. Crunchy tacos were as small as a street taco yet still $5 a piece the shredded beef was super watery. Rice was the only thing that was bearable. Refried Beans are no good either definitely many better Mexican food options. All would have been fine if this was a $6-$8 combo definitely not worth anything close to $15. Avoid it

Arizona Burrito was on point. Red Salsa/Hot Sauce had nice kick. Large Burrito w/ plenty of steak and just enough pico/guac and fries, the ratios were right. Reasonable price, clean store.

I was so disappointed!! I ordered their "Grande catne asada taco" and it is a small street taco with hardly any meat. Then we ordered 3 beef tacos and 3 chicken tacos and when I say a small amount of meat it was a small soup spoon size of meat. It was like eating a small taco shell and lettuce. I will not be returning after paying over $36

Order the cheese enchiladas with the ground beef taco ground beef tacos sucked meat is no good whatever seasoning they're using. Nasty enchilada had better won't be coming back here to this place so sorry not real Mexican food.

Taco Tuesday is great. Fresh ingredients and tacos aren't greasy like all the "bertos". Barria is excellent. The place is clean and staff is friendly.

Birria tacos and Diablo Burro FTW. Cute little order at the front and sit down or take out place. Order came out fast, hot, best tacos I've had in a while. Crispy at the edges, meat is tender w/some charred ends, birria is flavorful and not too oily. Yumm all around.

Nice little place. Ordered some Carnitas Tacos...street taco style! If you're looking for 5 star dining, you shouldn't have pulled into this strip mall to eat. That being stated, Bonita's is a very clean and friendly little place to grab some lunch. Nice little salsa selection and everything looked very fresh. While on the move, I'm always looking for smaller, more authentic meals, prepared by family. Nice presentation, excellent taste, and some amazing guacamole salsa to make this visit complete!! Will return to try other items!

Wouldn't recommend Bonitas for their breakfast burritos after my first experience. 12.50 for a medium sized burrito with minimal flavor, fillings, and servings in addition to the burrito being cold (cheese isn't melted in first photo and tortilla was cold). Not worth the price.

This was 1st rime there. I ran over on my lunch break because I wanted some tacos. This place was cute, and clean. The staff was friendly, and my order was ready very fast. They have limited seating, maybe 10 people max. The food was bland. I was disappointed. The shredded chicken had no flavor. Chips come with the meal , but I wasn't given any salsa. .

This used to be my spot 8 years ago. I started eating at this place again, ordering via Uber Eats. It's a no for me. Bonitas can never get it right. My order has been wrong the last three times, not sure why.

Tried taco Tuesday tacos. They were delicious. Manager told my daughter and I that Friday is $1.25 fish tacos. So came today, Friday, she was not lying. These are full size delicious tacos. I will be back to try other items on the menu. Nice clean restaurant with very friendly service.

This is the 2nd time I've gotten the wrong order. I only have 30 minutes for lunch. This time my order was missing rice & beans. Theres was another lady there that walked out becuz she order 3 tacos and the wait was terribly long. I ordered mine ahead of time. And it was still wrong. I called to advise my order was wrong. I just got a sorry. I advised them I won't be going back and the girl hung up on me Signed upset long time customer GONE I had to come back to add when I tried to cut the tortilla I couldn't. The tortilla had been microwaved- My LUNCH WAS RUINED NO LUNCH FOR ME TODAY THANK YOU BONITAS ME AND THE OFFICE I WORK AT WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

The green chili burritos here are so friggin good. The staff is nice and attentive. The restaurant is clean and safe for the location. They have a nice big tv that plays sports. The menu is big and has so many wonderful options. It's walking distance from ASU West. Will keep coming back again and again.

Good casual Mexican food place with typically generous portions and a simple menu. Food is always tasty and the employees are always kind and efficient, considering their food is always fresh made and isn't "left under the warmer" type of food. Highly recommend their birria tacos, baby banditos, and salsas.

My review is of their taco Tuesday hard shelled shredded beef taco for $1.75. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. The shell wasn't stale and the cheese was good quality. The meat itself was a little dry and completely unflavored. I had read this complaint a couple of times in the reviews and will agree with them. I go to a lot of taco places all over the valley and I am an advocate that you shouldn't have to drown your taco in salsa to have flavor. I should be able to eat it dry and still taste seasoning. That's why I'm giving it 3 stars. A mid taco but I'd definitely eat it again if I had to.

My daughter is a huge fan of Birria Tacos and this place did not disappoint . Great family owned business . We will be back!

Ordered Togo but when I got home the food was already cold and soggy. I got the chicken tacos but got beef. Also got the mini chimichangas but they were over fried, cold and greasy. Rice was crunchy and beans were soupy and flavorless. Working in food myself it seems like theres no one at the wheel checking quality control and the cooks clearly dont care what they push through the pass. Incredibly disappointing

Seriously, i ordered two orders of menudo from this place and I got Caldo de hominy. I called them and was polite about my experience that i recieved hominy stew with literly two pieces of tripe. The girl was nice and offered to make it right and give me two more caldos first I was going to go but honesly i'm good, the flavor was not all that anyway and I just feel like the individual preparing the meal seen what he or she was scooping into the serving container and there is no way didn't notice no tripe was in the container. To me that is poor service and a poor experience so i just will not return here.

Their pozole is so delicious and the service is amazing, I ordered pretty close to closing and they were so kind which was surprising. I loved the way the inside looked, definitely will be going again

Best thing the previous owner did was sell this restaurant. The new owners are friendly and the food is great I just had lunch here, and the only reason I even came back was because the barber told me it was a new owner. I am glad I was able to come back and try it again. It's so much closer than other places. I look forward to supporting this new owners Changed my review again. This time was a to go order and not only did they not give us everything we ordered, they put a taco on top of enchiladas vs separating them to preserve the integrity of the taco. Shame because when I met the new owners they seemed to care. But now they have seems to lose interest. Damn shame too. It's gone down hill from what it was. Glad there are several other places close by I can order from.

Found this great little restaurant because of Groupon Super casual with great Mexican food eat in with a huge take out following. Forget about the bert guys Go for Bonita

The first time I came here I was happy with the first breakfast burrito that I got as well as the menudo soup and Birria taco .... Then I came here today and I got this; that I just HAD to post a picture of.. a mushy fish burrito? You should probably disclose to people you don't frye your own fish and you use a previously frozen fish sticks that's not fresh fish. Filiberto's even fry's their own fresh fish lol this was just gross! Along with that the Birria tacos weren't great and super soggy. Overall it was just a horrible second impression that left me stumped to never want to come back here again. Plus the young girl at the front was just flat out rude, such poor customer service, I get everyone has bad days but take your ass to the back if you can't greet people, smile or even look like you somewhat like your job. Someone even dropped her two dollar bills in the tip jar from their change and she couldn't say thank you and walked away. No Bueno

It's fun... it's funky... and I love the Baby Banditos. But that Baja Sauce!! I've been trying to duplicate it for years.

What a little hidden gem. You can grab a cheap margarita or beer here and have some home cooked Mexican food. We were so impressed!! Coming back for taco Tuesday and this may just turn into a weekly tradition! We are so pleased. We enjoyed fish tacos, a green chili beef chimichanga and 2 margaritas. HIT THE SPOT. Not bad Bonitas came highly recommended and the food was okay. The tacos and green chili burritos were glavorful, as was the rice and beans, and I am usually extremely disappointed by the rice and beans in most Mexican restaurants. It was a busy afternoon and they might have been understaffed, however, we received our meals quickly. Inspite of the slow service, I'd go again, the food makes up for it.

This is my husband's and mine, Favorite go to Mexican food place!!! The food is Always good and the portions are plentiful. We Have falling in Love with Birria, and their Birria tacos are truly our favorite, we get them every time

Taste nasty. The meat is full of filler don't taste like meat at all. the green chili was OK Beans. Had NO SALT rice tasted very very old. I won't be back.
