Google
Bonjour French Bakery is absolutely delightful! Everything we tried was incredible, the croquette madame, cheese pastry, Dubai chocolate dessert, and pan dulce were all perfectly fresh and delicious. You can tell that every item is made with care and attention to detail. The staff were so kind and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, just like a little café in France, clean, comfortable, and full of charm. We can’t wait to come back and try more!

I’ve only been to the Bonjour Bakery in Pembroke Pines. This location was here before the Pembroke one opened and as I was in the area. I decided to stop by for my favorite, CANELLÉS!!! Not many bakeries offer canellés and Bonjour is the only spot in town, that I know of that sell this. They also spell differently here, I usually see them spelled as canelés. Not sure if this is just special to Bonjour. This Weston location is smaller and more intimate. Very charming actually. They decorated the space with Halloween stuff everywhere. Love how festive everything looks. Even in the bathroom. Love the bloody handprints and blood splatters on the dessert cases. So cool. Everything here is clean, organized and looks like smooth sailing. My cashier was very sweet and pleasant, unfortunately I did not get her name. Another lovely lady got my canelles for me and they were prompt getting the orders out. I would stop back here next time but also hard since I love Eclair Affaire right down the street too.

It was a wonder experience. Great place and amazing time. Food was delicious. I would totally recommend it to friends and family

Google
Mouth-watering French desserts at eye-watering French prices pretty much sums up the experience, yet it's always busy at Bonjour, so they must be hitting the right notes. The open layout works as it makes the joint look and feel bigger than it really is. Breakfast portions are a bit small, and the menu can be a little confusing. One thing that isn't French at Bonjour is the service: quick, friendly, and welcoming. This establishment is a winner despite borderline outrageous prices.

Google
Lots of beautiful options. The food is good but not exceptional - however the number of options is impressive. Best French style cafe we've found in the area, so it scratches the itch if you're craving that and in the area.

Google
Bonjour is one of the best Bakery & Café in Florida . The desserts they make not only look amazing but taste soo good . Very friendly and outstanding customer service. Thank you Sofia.

Google
I visited this place based on a recommendation, but unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. The staff was friendly and provided good service, but the desserts were hard, dry, and poor in quality. The coffee was by far the worst—burnt, overheated, and the milk was poorly steamed, which ended up burning my mouth. I honestly don’t understand how places can serve such low-quality products. I really hope they improve, because there’s a lot to work on.

Google
The canele is a party from Bordeaux France, they are known to be one of the trickier French pastries to master bc they need to be crunchy outside and very moistened inside thanks to the Rum. I can tell that they really mastered it! I wish the atmosphere was more French music.

Yelp
I am obsessed with this French bakery. It's such a cute spot and full of amazing desserts and food. I took home French briquette, and some delicious desserts. I had the combo that came with tomato soup and Provence sandwich. Everything was delicious. The service was amazing and everyone was very kind. I definitely will be back for more.

Yelp
I've been here a few times. Excellent high quality pastries and desserts. Espresso is excellent as well. Friendly service. Inviting and large dining area. Moderate noise level. The place is usually packed with patrons.

Yelp
Came here on a busy Saturday morning for brunch and was overall underwhelmed. You order at the counter and then seat yourself in the dining area. They bring you your hot food to your table, but if you order any pastries you have to awkwardly wait by the cashier standing in everyone's way. They use a microphone to call out your name and with how busy and loud it is, you may miss it and have to flag someone down to check on it. Our food came out quickly but was nothing to write home about. Perhaps we didn't order the right staples or caught them on a bad day, but we wouldn't come back again based on this visit. A 12.5% service fee is added automatically to your check when paying at the counter - would have been nice to know ahead of time.

Yelp
I ordered a chicken Caesar salad, but they brought me the dressing on the side, and it was impossible to mix the dressing in the same plate. I asked if they could do it for me and bring it back. The waitress's response was, "We have been serving it for eight years and nobody has complained. In complete arrogance and with no attitude to help a customer, even though he saw it was impossible for me to do it." So I left the plate and the place, and I will never be back.

Yelp
FRENCH BAKERY and CAFE... Been eating and socializing in Weston for several years and have not been to this place which opened about four years ago in place of the old Boston Market. A traditional French style building and a slammed front and rear parking lot. When you enter there is an immediate blast scent of coffee and fresh danish that entertains the senses. The dramatic glass display case extends from the front to the back of the shop. Amazing multi-colorful cakes and mini bites - some I've never heard of before. The steel coffee machine pumping out dark liquid bliss. A line of ten customers deep but went quickly and allowed me to browse the goodies. The friendly cashier took my order seamlessly and provided some options. Five egg whites, Italian espresso coffee and a maple madelaine for about $12.00. Other choices included a variety of crossaints, caramel and guave bonbons, cookies, brownies and cheesecake. The fresh bread rack was impressive. Massive artisan, multi grain and traditional baguettes for $3.25. Loaves of farmer rye bread $4.50. The order was delivered to the table in about eight minutes. My beautiful piping hot egg whites went together perfectly with my sweet maple madelaine cake. My buddy got a box of assorted gluten free macarons for his wife - blueberry * pistashio * strawberry * coconut * passion fruit * mango. They add 10% service charge to the bill. I am bringing my wife to this bakery next week and I know she will love it. The bathroom was very clean.

Yelp
If you're looking for a little bit of France in Broward County look no further than Bonjour. Offering a wide selection of expert-looking pastries and desserts, as well as sandwiches, soups, salads, and breakfast, this cafe has it all. Their coffee is delicious too. I got a hot vanilla latte with oat milk and it was made just right. To eat, I got a combo of soup and sandwich: pumpkin soup and a turkey sandwich. The soup was good, it didn't pack much flavor but I think pumpkin soup in general typically doesn't. The sandwich was great. The turkey meat tastes fresh and the cranberry sauce they put paired perfectly. Also, we got an eye of the tiger pastry which served to be a perfect bite of sweetness. On top of all this, service was nice and we didn't have to wait long at all for our food to arrive. Overall, a great cafe for coffee, pastries, lunch, or all the above.

Yelp
I met some friends for brunch and fell in love with this adorable cafe. I cant wait to go back. I kind of felt like a traitor because I had the American Breakfast. It was eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns. It was good. My sister had the quiche which she liked but said was only barely warm. My friend has a prosciutto sandwich on a baguette and a nutella crepe. She loved both. Apologies for no food pics, only desserts and cappuccino. We got a lot of pastries to go which will have after dinner tonight. They're open until 8 in the evening adorable I'm anxious to try the soup and beef bourgineon or lasagna bonjour. I'll keep you posted adorable will take meal pics when I go back.

Yelp
Omelet with raw egg running out of it, no thanks, I don't know if this is how the french eat
google avatar

Yelp
Slow, very slow service, and no counter attentiveness. Clean the coffee maker is more important then customers

Yelp
Called mid afternoon to see if they had whole cheesecakes for sale for my wife's birthday. Employee was very nice and offered me a few options and set aside a strawberry cake for me. When I went in other employees were really nice. Had the cake packed up and ready and it was amazing and a really good price compared with all the other bakeries.

Yelp
I love it! Stopped for breakfast and what a delightful surprise! The croissants were SO good. Service was great and look forward to make it a regular stop.

Yelp
I had taken pastries and cakes to go on several previous visits. But had never stayed in to have a meal. Today was the day! A friend suggested we meet for brunch. You order at the counter. I got the French toast and a cappuccino. He got the American breakfast and some pastries to go. They give you a number and you find a table in the quaint interior. It's noisy but very pleasant. Then, servers come around and deliver the food. Everything I saw come out looked really good. And while I personally wouldn't eat the meat, my friends eggs and the baguette looked really nice. The French toast was very tasty and didn't need the prepackaged yucky syrup to go with it. The cappuccino was delicious. All in all, I enjoyed it and will go back another time! I love the mashup of French bakery run by Venezuelans.

Yelp
Came here for the first time two weeks ago. My boss had a birthday coming up, and she always talks about how great this place is, so I stopped in in the morning before work to pick up some sweets. So beautiful and clean on the inside! So cutely decorated on the outside, too! Your jaw will literally drop when you walk in. Beautiful, eye-catching desserts and pastries, a shelf filled with freshly baked bread and some of the kindest and most helpful staff I've ever experienced. There are so options that it can be a bit overwhelming! The gentleman behind the counter walked me through some of his favorite pastries, and I took a lot of his recommendations. For about 10 desserts and pastries I paid a little over $50. Which I think is incredibly reasonably priced considering you can see how much time, effort and care goes into making these. Then monday, I came by for lunch with a few co-workers. You order at the cash register and they give you a number for your table. I got their chicken sandwich, and let me tell you...I have never had a chicken sandwich as amazing as this one. Crispy, fresh baguette, fresh veggies, deliciously seasoned grilled chicken. And the most tangy and flavorful honey mustard. I also got a side of fries which were hot, crispy and perfectly seasoned. The sandwich, fries and a canned drink were $20. And the sandwich is big! The food came out within 5 minutes of sitting down which I literally couldn't believe seeing as I was with two other people. I think the most painful part about dining in, is that they have televisions displaying all their other delicious food! Definitely ordered desserts before walking out, too. I will absolutely be back to try all their other menu items.

Yelp
The place is always spotless, well-lit, and with an unbelievable assortment of pastries. For a French bakery, most of the staff only speak English and Spanish, but everyone is super helpful and Friendly. The quality is excellent. My favorite is the almond croissant, but I have also enjoyed most of the breakfast items. This is the place for my birthday cake as well. I have been here more than a dozen times, and I will continue going.

Yelp
The food was great, but I forgot to take a picture of it. They also have variety of pastries. The coffee was delicious and they even had custom cups. They also have a water dispenser, and you get the water for free. The ambiance is cozy, and not dirty but not super clean. The service was fast. We got are food 2 minutes after we ordered. I would recommend coming here.

Ramiii B.

Yelp
I come often but it will be my last time .we ordered over $130 for breakfast for three people. My son orded bonjor breakfast . It was to my shock that it appears as if it's from the 70's. It was very cold and not appetizing at all. Very disappointed.. you pay alot and gets only frustration. The manager name is Jeneric. We adressed this to the manager and she said "this is how we are and we have #1 ratings," instead of helping us replace the dish, she said "I cannot help you with anything."
google avatar

Brianna R.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious and amazing. I was so pleased with the service. The employee at the front was so kind and patient and gave us time to order regardless of there being a long line. It always smells so amazing and looks so clean and pristine here and coming here is always so nice. I came with my family this time and the service was just so shockingly amazing. The manager went out of his way to grab us a chair regardless of it being busy and crowded then even was kind enough to help clean up my nephews spit up. The best service I have seen in a long time.

Vivian H.

Yelp
Having been multiple times before, we were looking forward to breakfast. Unfortunately, they are inflexible about making any change- as simple as the bread for a sandwich or leaving an ingredient off a crepe. We told them about an allergy and asked for no pesto on the Caprese sandwich. The sandwich came to the table with pesto. We sent it back and they sent bread with tomatoes and mozzarella. No basil, balsamic or olive oil. When we asked for the missing items, we were told it had been sent back too many times so we couldn't have the basil, and the balsamic and oil were on the side. The poor server was apologetic and not to blame. The manager needs to understand that the kitchen needs to take allergy seriously. This is irresponsible. We won't be back and will tell our friends to go to one of the many other options that will treat you with respect and take allergy seriously.
google avatar

Jacqueline M.

Yelp
It's a good option if you're in the area and it has lots of variety to choose from. While there have been a few items that have been total misses for me; we don't have many solid breakfast/lunch/bakery spots in the area so I make do. It's a little factory-ish to me and not warm and fuzzy like a real french bakery. This is a combination of a cute cafeteria style bakery and a fast casual cafe. It's always packed and it's always loud. Overall it's a good option for the area but it's not an all out favorite. I struggled between Ok and Good (3-4 stars) but in all fairness I've had some good pastries here and a pretty good lobster soup so they earned the 4th star. The options are endless so I'm sure they've got some top notch items I haven't fully discovered.
google avatar

Cheyanna A.

Yelp
It's insane how beautiful and delicious all of their treats are! I wish I had time to try everything. The coffee was great as well.
google avatar

Mauricio B.

Yelp
I have been coming here for a couple of years and it never disappoints. Their selection of pastries and breads is very large, and everything I have tried has been perfectly prepared. They also have savory treats, including a very nice onion soup, and their coffee drinks are great. It is a very popular place, so sometimes there is a long line to order your food, but service is fast and friendly. And the seating area has a combination of high tops and regular tables, in a casual setting. Good place to get breakfast, lunch or a sweet treat with coffee.

Marvin M.

Yelp
The strategy of picking up the phone with a "hold on" to leave client waiting for more than 10 min and never pick up should be reviewed by the owner! Two times in a row and I could never place my order!
google avatar

Maria P.

Yelp
I was having cravings for Kouign-Amann and if you've never had one, I highly recommend it!!! Think of it as a caramelizad and deliciously moist croissant, absolutely delicious! That said, this craving is what led me to find Bonjour French Bakery Cafe. I loved the look of this little bakery from the outside, and they had great parking which is a huge plus if you really need to go in and out quickly. Once you get inside, the place is significantly bigger than I expected, with a great long glass display counter and plenty of seating if you decide to hang out and eat in. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to sit and enjoy for long since I was in a rush, but I will definitely come back and enjoy thoroughly upon my next visit. I did take away a few items, because everything looked amazing! and everyone was so friendly, and put up with me not being able to decide what to get I ended up getting a Kouign-Amann, an almond croissant, a few macaroons, a fruit tart, and a ham & cheese croissant If you're in the search for a French bakery, you should definitely check it out!
google avatar

Kristine L.

Yelp
When you first walk in, the line to order is very hectic. You are also not allowed to grab a table until you order, which is fair unless you have grandparents there that you would like to have sitting and waiting. The tables are also very close together, leaving you a little uncomfortable walking through the place. The food and coffee is very good and they have such an incredible variety of unique deserts.

Jenny A.

Yelp
Wow, this place was amazing! The food was perfect and fast, and the staff seemed genuinely pleasant and helpful. It's really hard to find a restaurant where you can say all of the above. I'm already planning my next trip back. It's a bit loud because it's crowded - so not the place for a quiet dinner, but definitely worth visiting! I visited on a Friday evening, and I was surprised to see a live harp player!
google avatar

Quyen T.

Yelp
Lunch date at this French bakery with hubby! I got a small sandwich, soup and of some desert The sandwich was good.. a lil pricey for the portion. Desert was the best part as expected! Service was quick and the place is nicely decorated

Yelp
My husband has brought home treats from the bakery before and I will say that they have all been delicious. The plain croissant is absolutely amazing. It is layers of perfection. Until now, I have never been there to eat - I mean sit down and have a meal. Until today when my friend and I had the opportunity to have breakfast. We both ordered a variation of the same thing. Honestly, I can't remember the name but it was the first item on the breakfast menu and is pretty much an amped up avocado toast. I am not a goat cheese fan - so I got mine sans goat cheese, my friend got hers with the goat cheese. We both loved it. The bread was thick and crusty. It had a perfect layer of avocado, smoked salmon, perfectly cooked poached egg, arugula, tomato and balsamic glaze. We also shared an almond croissant. Totally perfect and decadent. Perfect for sharing. The service is quick serve - so you order at the counter and they bring it to you. I also ordered a plain croissant to take home to my husband. They brought that out as well already set up to go. Delivery was friendly. So was everyone we encountered. The parking can be a little difficult as the plaza is small. The restaurant is clean and inviting. It's hard not to buy one of everything. Looking forward to returning.

Yelp

Yelp
Amazing food, service and the pastries are to die for! Definitely coming back for more .

Valerie L.

Yelp
Came here for breakfast. As soon as we walked in a waiter walked by us and didn't acknowledge or welcome us to the restaurant. It is a fast pace kind of place. You have to go to the cashier to order and then you sit at a table with a number. It smelled very good, like freshly baked bread. We all enjoyed our meals. I got the croissant with eggs and two sides (picked spinach and bacon... they didn't have mushrooms). The French toast was really good too. It didn't come with any kind of syrup and it was good dry with the fruits so I didn't ask if there was any available. The orange juice was good, I love it when it is freshly squeezed. Overall, a good experience if you want a quick and good breakfast. I would definitely could come back to dry different things.
google avatar

Yelp
I enjoyed my experience very much. Excellent pastries and lots of choices for lunch. See photos.
google avatar

Tess S.

Yelp
Me and my baby stop by here about once a week to get croissants. We LOVE croissants. I have tried all of them but my favorite is the almond croissant. It's full of almond butter and it's topped with almonds. We always feel very welcomed and the service is always great.
google avatar

Kurt A.

Yelp
Superb hospitality! Try their new burgers which is served w/ a croissant bun! They have a huge variety of pastries. Half the experience is viewing their selection.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was all delicious! worth the wait and price. Great variety and Service is very attentive.
google avatar

Rabia A.

Yelp
I met my sister and her friends here for breaky one day and it was okay. The venue is super cute! It was my first time here and it was okay. My omelet and croissant was not worth the $15! And I had asked for a sandwich not a platter. So yeah. I'm willing to give it another shot though
google avatar

Harvey D.

Yelp
Great food and quick! I thought that this place was going to be very slow and it's not. You order at the counter and they bring you the food. They also have water where you serve yourself. The only complaint is that the lamb stew was a a bit on the small side. I also have ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and the portion size is much bigger. They give you a lot of fries, too. The desserts are truly uniqued although a little pricey. The staff is always friendly and will go out of their way to accommodate you. The menu is fairly large for a smaller, trendy cafe and the options somewhat surprised me. If you haven't eaten here yet, I suggest you stop in. You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Melanie G.

Yelp
This is a cute breakfast spot to start the day! The service is always really quick and the breakfast plates are excellent! The baked goods are also great. I highly recommended the butter croissant or the almond croissant! Both are so tasty and flakey! The place can get really busy and there may be limited seating, but tables usually free up quickly. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
Vive le croissant ! Having lived in France for a year I will say Bonjour has the best, authentic, French pastries and cakes in the area! The omelettes and other main dishes here are 5 star in taste, the decore is cute, but sadly I do have a but... There are some major drawbacks for in-restaurant dining that brought me from 5 stars for the food to 3 stars for the overall experience: 1) The work-a-runt style of standing in a frequently confusing line to order 2) While needing someone else in your party to save a table because it's always packed is irksome but, 3) The lack of appropriate noise reduction decor design requires you to yell at your table companions to be heard and they will still frequently say "What?" because the noise level is equal to a packed college bar on a Friday night - which one can enjoy when in a college bar - but not when anticipating a relaxing French cafe or good conversation. Because we dine out to enjoy conversation, ambiance and cuisine we can't create at home, Bonjour instantly became an occasional takeout for coffee and pastries only for us... cold French food meant to be eaten hot in takeout or not being able to enjoy conversation with your dining companions for dine-in are deal breakers. Bonjour! So want to give you at least 4 if not 5 stars! Maybe your Pembroke Pines location is better? What a tour de force you would be with sit-down ordering and noise reduction.

Yelp
Plenty of selection in this bakery. Food was good and croissant was fresh. Nice place for breakfast or lunch. Only knock is it is very loud, otherwise food and service was good. Pastry selection is very big and well presented. You can eat in or take to go.
google avatar

Sabrina S.

Yelp
LOVED this bakery. Masters of making baked goods eye candy. It's like a bakery that belongs in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. A work of art. Presentation couldn't be more impressive. So beautiful you don't want to eat it. Flavorful goods delicious and so aesthetically pleasing. Place gets pretty packed, but they do a great job finding each party a table and there's a good flow of people coming in and out. FOOD: Spinach quiche- very good Nutella croissant-very good Eye of the tiger-delicious Strawberry moist cake slice-delicious PARKING: This place is located in a shopping plaza. Plenty of free parking around.

Rudy C.

Yelp
Read below. Don't waste your money. The management feels entitled and they give the worst service. Expensive and low quality.

Steve B.

Yelp
We just took a sandwich and pastries to go after having this place recommended to us. We will be returning, to say the least. One word: Canelé!!! I learned to love these spongy little rum cake towers in France, and rarely see them abroad. They're a P.I.T.A. to make, so seeing them at a cost competitive to France and yet every bit as authentic in my neighborhood is a dream come true. The sweet bread wrapping my baked ham, cheese, and other goodies in a warm roll sandwich was wonderful, too. Check out the cakes, pastries and bon bons on display--they look like beautiful toys. The breakfast and lunch menus look complete as well. We'll be back to hit up the lamb dishes later, shank and stew. The girls at the counter were as kind, sweet, and efficient as you'd ever want to be served by. With several locations in the Fort Lauderdale and western lakes areas, there's no excuse to miss out on affordable, delicious French baking and food anymore in south Florida.

Yelp
Previously gave it 5 start but downgrading to a 2 after only a few visits due to poor customer service. We went in today and we encountered several issues from ordering, paying, being served etc. here are a few to mention: - I was asked 3 times if it's a To Go order, each time we asked to dine in but the order was placed as a To Go order. We had to wait to reverse that. - The coconut pastry order didn't taste fresh and the other pastry that was brought to us was the wrong item. - we also ordered two medium latte and was given a large latte and a small cappuccino. We asked to ordered to be fixed and they said if you want a medium latte you should ask for a small cappuccino but light!!!! Like is that a joke or something ??? Regardless we spent 20+ dollars for two wrong drinks and two pastries and a good amount of inconvenience...

Yelp
2/20/2022|| I wanted to come by and experience something new. Although it was packed and busy it wasn't hectic. The establishment was very clean and the pastries all looked delicious. I did like the layout and how everything look. It even had the green wall with neon light and some cool comfy chair for a photo op. Now I was not here for that but to enjoy a good French Breakfast. I had the Meurette Eggs which were delicious and the Nutella hot coffee was great. As for my gf, I wish she could have had the same experience as me but her food came out incorrectly. She had ordered an omelette with mushrooms and peppers, but the peppers were missing and she also did not order the croissant. She specifically did not ordered it, and on top of it it was served cold. Sue to my GF's experience, I hd asked to speak with the manager, and let her know how we felt. Her meal was comp from the bill. I do believe in second chances so I hope that the next time we come our experience will be better.

Yelp
Everything was absolutely wonderful & authentic. Beautifully presented, lots of flavor. Quick friendly service.

Yelp
De-luscious! Yes, luscious...First of all when you enter there are wall to wall pastries and the smell....mmmm. They do way more than croissants. I will be back.

Yelp
What a cute little bakery! I have lived in the area for years and never knew this place existed. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The pastries were absolutely delicious. My friends and I all got a bunch of goods and shared them among us so we can try them all. We got: tiramisu, butter cookie, black and white cake, sweet bread, coconut cookie, the chocolate croissant and another pastry that had rum in it (can't remember the name). Everything was SO GOOD. 10/10 recommend the sweet bread and chocolate croissants. They also do live music and wine nights but I have yet to go.
