Yelp
It's hard to accurately describe this place. It's my favorite pizza place in the city, yet there are so many reasons it shouldn't be. It's 2025 and they still only accept cash, seriously. Cash only, so stopping at the ATM is required on the way there. Their pizzas are expensive, definitely worth the money, but pricey for sure. The only time we go is when we get a coupon in the mail for buy one get a 2nd pizza same size for $3/$6. Without a coupon, 2 Family size pizzas will run you $65 easily. But it's still worth it. The place is old, but clean for the most part, but very old, and some new carpet and paint wouldn't hurt. I swear it's the same carpet from 40 years ago when our Little League baseball team would go there after games. Thers one TV in the whole place, so if your there to watch a game, good luck. So, based on all that, why still 4 stars? Because the food is outstanding, it's one of the best pies in town. Their Italian sausage is worth the trip every time, and all of the other toppings are fresh, not frozen. They've been making the same pizza for over 40 years, they know what they are doing. If you like a lot of sauce and cheese on your pizza, order it that way, because very little of both come on the normal pizza, yet I can eat a whole Double by myself. The atmosphere is great, the people that go there "get it" and we all enjoy our time there regardless of the stuff I already mentioned. You can order beer or soda by the pitcher, neither has free refills, so pace yourself. They also serve tap beer in a glass goblet that weighs 8 pounds empty and I feel like a king each time I order one. It's less that $5 and I'm certain it's at least 32 ounces and no one else is doing that anywhere else. Also, they don't deliver, no online ordering at all, and good luck getting a phone order placed on a busy Friday or Saturday night, it ain't happening. We just went Sunday 3/23 with a large group for a birthday party and got 4 pizzas (with coupon of course) and it was amazing and had 2 goblets of beer and absolutely enjoyed ourselves. You kind of need to be from Dixie Hwy to understand the place itself, but if you like pizza, all you need to know is they are top notch.
