"Is there anything France's talented female chefs can't do? Charlotte Bauduret – Bonnie is her maiden name – brings together her two passions at this establishment: cooking (modern, vibrant, indulgent, rooted in tradition but elevated with personal touches) and the applied arts. She herself painted the large floral frescoes on the walls and created the restaurant's entire visual identity. Her partner, meanwhile, provides enthusiastic service and dispenses expert advice on wine pairings. On the menu: asparagus roll with pine nuts and guanciale; cod with kombu and tarragon-infused pea mousseline; broad-bean gnocchi in a creamy artichoke and parmesan sauce." - Michelin Inspector

Our Favourite Rooftop Spots in Paris to Eat, Drink, and Enjoy

"Since it opened in 2022, SO/Paris has consistently been winning over anyone with a weakness for beautiful views over Paris. This glass-clad tower on the banks of the Seine has been completely renovated and refurbished. The panoramic 15th-floor rooftop venue is the realm of Le Bonnie, where you can have lunch with a view of Notre-Dame's spire, or sip on a drink as you bask in the feeling of floating above the city." - The MICHELIN Guide

This place is in urgent need of major changes and proper solutions. First of all, the attitude of the staff providing the service is simply appalling. Their manner and approach are of such poor quality that I hardly feel it worth describing. As for the food, in my opinion, it is on the level of a home-cooked meal prepared by a housewife for her family, without any training from a head chef or sous chef. If anyone from the kitchen happens to read this, I’m sure it will make you angry – but I strongly urge you to set aside that anger and first examine your working environment, your effort, and your overall level. Those who have visited renowned hotels and restaurants in New York, London, Paris, or Italy will know that the food and service here are not even worth a single star. What struck me most was seeing a couple at another table, seemingly celebrating a birthday, eating deep-fried food that appeared to have been soaked in oil for days. They looked as though they were thoroughly enjoying it – I thought to myself they would probably give this place a five-star rating. If that is the case, then this restaurant’s food will never improve. As long as there are customers happy with this level, there will be no effort, no change, and no progress – the outcome is obvious. The management should listen more carefully to honest criticism from reviewers like myself. For anyone planning a visit, I would recommend coming back in a year, once there has been some genuine effort and improvement.

Fantastic view of Paris really. The food was really good in particular the meat! Breakfast is great too a bit on the pricey side. I believe it’s nicer in the early afternoons highly recommended

It’s a truly memorable place to dine in Paris! The views and service are exceptional, and the menu is varied and caters for most dietary requirements. The food is excellent - expensive for quite simple dishes, but you are really paying for the location and views. There is a laid-back, cool vibe to the restaurant, which works well with the design and aesthetic.

Simply amazing views, perfect at sunset. I was here on a weekend evening with a large group booked ahead of time. The food was good, steak was cooked to the correct medium rare. We went outside multiple times for pictures and the staff was accommodating. There was dance/DJ music in the background that picked up for as the night went on. For the price, you are paying for the whole experience.

!SUNSET SPOT ALERT! BAR review: Bonnie is an absolute standout in Paris, the perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset over the city. The view is simply breathtaking, offering a stunning panorama of the capital that makes the whole experience unforgettable. The interior is sophisticated and minimalist, with sleek mirrors, ambient lighting, and a stylishly curated atmosphere that oozes elegance. It’s ideal for a romantic date or just treating yourself to a chic evening out. This rooftop bar is trendy, upscale, and undeniably one of the must-visit spots in Paris right now. If you're in town, don't miss it, the view, the vibes, and the cocktails are all top-tier!

I love this terrace! I’ve always stayed at the bar and the cocktails are really good! Particularly my expresso martini! Cocktails are around 20€ and you can order some food on the side (between 20-30€). It’s a bit expensive but considering the place and its view, the staff is very nice and the treatment I think it’s on the right range.

Exceptional gastronomy and service atop an incredible view rooftop overlooking all of Paris. All amounted to an incredible evening! Well done master chef and architect/designer!

Astonishing views, amazing at sunset. They are fully booked on a Sunday night. Seems like a pretty popular spot for both dating couples and family gatherings. The food was decent. From starters to dessert, everything was presented in a proper way with carefully selected tablewares. The seafood was cooked excellently juicy and delectable. Our server was very observant and read the room well. He would always be around when we need something, or offering even before we ask. We had a great experience at this restaurant.
