Bonnie's Donuts

We heard about Bonnie's through social media and decided to try them out. This little bakery is family owned and the owners take pride in their business and it shows. Everyone here had such an upbeat and positive energy. They make you feel so welcomed there and that alone was huge. But their donuts... WOW!!! Fresh, and likely to be the best I have enjoyed in my lifetime. They remind me of Frays in Tampa, before the owners retires there. And that says alot, because until this morning I thought that I had already had the best. They offer the 5lb donut & cinnamon roll here. We didn't try it out (way too big for me) but maybe in the future when we have some family or friends over. If you haven't been here yet, do yourself a favor, get up early and stop by. You won't regret it.

Oh my gosh are 5 lb cinnamon roll most definitely worth the trip. We came all the way up from Fort Worth to see what the hype was all about. Bonnie's donuts delivered! Not only that but the owner was super nice and helpful.

I visited Bonnie’s Donuts earlier today, and now I understand all the Facebook hype! The woman helping me was incredibly kind and delivered above-and-beyond customer service—every business could take a page from her book. The donuts were absolutely delicious—soft, fluffy, and just how donuts should be. I was genuinely impressed and so pleased with my visit! 🍩✨

Wow, what a Cinnamon Roll! Typically you have to order your cinnamon roll 1 day in advance but we got lucky because they baked extras so make sure to call ahead just to secure your roll. If they’re out of rolls they have plenty of options to keep you happy. Try their Cronuts, Strawberry Donut Holes, Bacon Wrapped Kolaches or any of their delicious options. Owners are super friendly & they even threw in a freebie for driving past 200+ donut shops just to visit them, lol.

Bought the 10lb cinnamon roll for a coworker’s birthday. Everyone in the office was shocked at the size of this pastry. Not only was this behemoth a sight, but everyone was complementing on how delicious every piece was. Each piece was packed full of layers and was fully baked. Easily fed 25-30 people, could stretch it out to 40.

Decided to treat my favorite brunch spot to doughnuts this morning, so I passed all of the donut shops near me to check out Bonnie’s—purely based on reviews. I grabbed two dozen for the First Watch staff and delivered them to an ecstatic team. They loved the doughnuts—ravished them!!! Everyone raved how delicious the doughnuts were and none were disappointed in any of the flavors. The person who boxed my doughnuts was very friendly and expedient with taking care of my order. I shall be returning in the near future to treat the staff at the chiropractic office.

The donut shop and owners are great. We got the 5lb Cinnamon Roll!!! Amazing. I was afraid with it being so big we might lose quality and taste.....not at all. I think it may actually taste better than many "normal sized" cinnamon rolls I've had. My family of six was able to take down about half of it and save the next half for later. We actually ended up sharing some with another young family that came in too.

I’m so glad that we decided to take a chance based off of the ratings because we are not from this area. I highly recommend anyone traveling nearby to stop. They have amazing flavor and depth of the donuts and the cronuts, even crème brûlée style. They had apple fritters, peach, fritters, blueberry fritters.. They had donuts with cereal and bacon, they had kolache’s and breakfast tacos, and lots of drink options. Another good thing is you were right across the parking lot from the Starbucks so we were able to go sit on the patio and order Starbucks to go with it. By time, we sat down with our order most of the donuts were already gone by the kids.😜 so this is the only picture I got. I really contemplated getting the 5 pound cinnamon roll, but I knew it would be too much.

First time here, definitely have to come early to explore the different varieties they have. It was quaint and smelled sweet, enjoyed our pastries and hope to visit again soon. Not over priced and the service was genuine and polite.

By far our favorite doughnut place in the area! We pass by several other doughnut bakeries, including a super popular one on Main, just to visit Bonnie's. What a treat it is to walk in their doors and for the owners to great you with their smiles! Bonnie's has so many options to choose from; doughnuts, kolaches, cinnamon rolls, breakfast sandwiches and my favorite is the spinach and cheese pastry (yum!). They offer seasonal flavored doughnuts, such as apple cider and pumpkin spice, as well as specialty flavors they serve year round, including blueberry and red velvet. My favorite are the decorated doughnuts they make for holidays, which are such a special tradition for the kids! To top it off, the owners give so much back to the community. If you haven't already, give Bonnie's a try!

I tried several donut/kolache shops after moving to the area and this is, without a doubt, my favorite. The service is excellent! Their blueberry cake is is just MORE blueberry than anywhere else! The croissants, cronuts, LEMON, and pumpkin spice are all delicious.

April 29, 2023 Was in the neighborhood and saw the "donuts" sign, it was 1230p and they were still open. Selection was minimal this close to closing time but, I picked chocolate sprinkles, red velvet cake. The owner said, I want you to try my favorite (for free) the chocolate cake All 3 donuts were moist and delicious Support local

Always a delightful experience when we visit Bonnie's. Highly recommend! Their TEXAS SIZED customer service and community commitment is unmatched! Plus, their donuts taste amazing! Tons of seasonal favorites. You aren't cool if you don't get personalized happy birthday or back to school donuts from here. Can I just say, every single time I come here, the owners never take their customers for granted. I've seen the wife buy flowers from a street panderer just so she could get out of the summer heat. I've seen the male owner graciously accept an IOU when their machine was down and the customer didn't have cash, but was a regular. Today, they wished a little girl the happiest of birthdays. Her face lit up. How sweet is that for 7AM on a Monday?! My favorite part is this couple is human. They close for family engagements and illness. I'll drive past 100 donut shops to spend my coins/calories where they count.

How did I just find out about this place, tucked away behind Starbucks is this mom and Pop unique gourmet donut shop. So many unique options I was a little bit overwhelmed. Owner remembering the name of three people that walked in separately, tells me about who they are.

A few weeks late but I was surprised for my birthday since I loveeee cinnamon rolls with their 5lb cinnamon roll versus a cake! They even gave the icing in a 20 ounce cup so the cinnamon roll can be reheated and poured freshly over which was more than enough icing! The cinnamon roll was amazing just like a single roll and they even carry cake blueberry donut holes which was to die for! Can't wait to try it out in person and see the variety of donuts and creations for myself! Highly recommended!!!! Wish there was one closer in Houston! The 5lb roll fed well over 10 people with nearly half left over for the next day! Can't wait to order the 10lb cinnamon roll soon!

An absolute staple in the community. Ask any local and they'll tell you that these are hands down the best donuts in the area. It's true. From the delicious donuts to the super-friendly service, this place checks all the boxes for what a donut shop should be. I haven't tried to 5 lbs. cinnamon roll that they're famous for, but I'll get there one day (oh boy!) 5 massive stars for these hardworking folks.

First time trying Bonnie's Donuts out. The place is over a 40 minute drive for me but totally worth it. They offer a variety of classic donuts, cereal topped donuts, apple fritters, cinnamon rolls and twists. They also have yummy cake donut flavors (red velvet, carrot cake, strawberry) just to name a few. The bacon wrapped jalapeno cheese sausage kolache is delicious. Can't forget to mention they are the home of a 5lb & 10 lb cinnamon roll(1 day advance order). Will definitely be going back. The owners are so helpful and friendly.

Driving from Galveston to Houston we wanted to try a non-chain donut shop. Bonny's (how it's spelled on the sign) is tucked away off the highway. The people working were SO nice and friendly. We bought a couple little trays of donut holes, a chocolate iced old fashioned and a Bismarck. So good!

So I picked up one of the infamous 5 lb cinnamon rolls on Wed before Thanksgiving to bring home to the family for Thanksgiving breakfast. While there, I had to get some of their other donuts too. Well the Apple fritter and blueberry cake donuts are probably some of the best I've ever had. The trip would've been worth just for those. Flash forward to Thanksgiving AM. We put the cinnamon roll in the oven to warm it up and then added the icing. The verdict: DAMN! It's good! Just the right amount of cinnamon. The closer you get to the middle, the closer you get to pure heaven and bliss. Now I will admit I had to wait a couple of hours to write this review due to the carb coma I went into from eating too much of it. The entire family devoured this thing like our lives depended on finishing it. Highly recommend!!!

WOW I will not be going anywhere else for donuts or kolaches. The jalepeno kolache has the jalepeno in the the sausage instead of in the dough, something I never really paid much mind to or cared about but my fiancé always comments when we get kolaches and they jalepenos are in the dough. Now I see why. It is so much better in the sausage! The flaky kolaches are I ordered A LOT of other things but haven't tried it all yet so I will just review the things I have tried. The plain donut holes, 10/10, best donut holes I've ever tasted. Consistency, flavor, size and everything was all perfect! Blueberry cake donut holes were still warm and fresh. I'm not usually big on cake donuts but they're really good. The pumpkin donut holes are also really good. I had one of each of these cause after the kolache I was so full. I'm sure they will taste better when I'm less miserable! Lol Oh I also had a bite of a glazed mochi donut! Also DELICIOUS! I can't wait to try my strawberry cream cheese filled donut And one day I will be getting a 5 pound a cinnamon roll when we have family in town to help eat it lol they look absolutely amazing!

Man this is really personal for me and I really don't know where to start because I've heard so many amazing things about this place and I really expected this place to knock my socks off. Okay... first off the female owner is one of the nicest persons you'd ever want to meet. Her personally is so warm and charming you just want to spend the entire day with her. Super friendly and extremely nice and professional. Very glad to see me and my wife and was eager to serve us. I would give her 10 stars for customer service and very clean restaurant if I could. Now the downer and painful part. The donuts and cinnamon rolls were just okay. I mean just to be honest, I've had better. I actually drove approximately 40 minutes to get to this place because I was so excited to try them. That being said, it could have just been my tastebuds. Nevertheless I still encourage you to visit this place and you may be of different opinion. Give them a try and please leave them a review. They really are some of the nicest people you could ever meet with a very welcoming environment which is the reason for the three stars.

Ordered letter shaped donuts for birthday party and they were a huge hit! Service always EXCELLENT! Owners are very kind and efficient. Place is always clean and inviting.

We had heard about this place from "Only in Texas", they are known for their 5 pound cinnamon roll, unfortunately they were out of the regular size cinnamon rolls, so we ordered some old fashioned donuts, since we waited they gave us an extra donuts, we told them we drove all the way from Cypress, Texas, the owner said if we could wait 15 minutes she would make us the cinnamon rolls, so we waited, they weee delicious, the people were super friendly, everything was delicious and fresh....we will be back for sure!

Awesome donuts, awesome owners! They were so nice when we stopped by. The cake donuts are amazing. Great flavor and the glaze on them is perfect. He gave us a blueberry cake donut on the house and that was seriously delicious. I can't wait to try their pumpkin spice and apple cider flavors for the fall!!

I was very happy with the donuts we ordered for our daughter's birthday! We wanted animal shaped ones and provided a few pictures - were very happy with what we received. Donuts were a huge hit at the party - received lots of comments about how cute and delicious they were!

Bonnie's is out of the way for us, but we find ourselves making the trek quite frequently. the donuts are delicious and unique! they go out of their way to bring new types of donuts to their customers, my favorite being the fresh fruit donuts, made to order in strawberry, mango, pineapple or apple. the fresh fruit makes it healthy! they also offer their famous 5lb cinnamon roll and holiday offerings. you can request special orders too. check out bonnie's, you won't regret it. they are so friendly and will be happy to see you. located in the strip mall behind starbucks.

So great we came back the next day to try few other kinds. They don't keep all their specialty donuts out in case. Make sure to ask about the melt pull aparts, fresh strawberry glaze and anything else they make. Great donuts and super friendly service!!!

Doesn't look much different than the average donut shop slotted into a typical strip mall, but what we found inside was a deliciously different and pleasant experience! The owners/staff are VERY friendly and accommodating when it comes to their product. I felt extremely confident about trusting they were selling quality. And that confidence was rewarded when everything we purchased turned out to be delicious! Highly recommend Bonnie's and we will make this trip for Kolaches, pull aparts, old fashions, and cake donuts again!

we love this donut shop and the sweet owners. for the last few years, we've ordered specially designed donuts in the shapes of letters for birthdays and Christmas. She is so creative and talented when she decorates these orders and the donuts are delicious.

Went here on Easter, and they had a line out the door! Amazing service and the cream cheese cinnamon rolls are delicious. Great prices, great selection of donuts and other foods.

15 mins from us, but so worth the drive. Everything we tried was delicious. Large sausage and cheese kolache. Soft bread and meaty inside. Strawberry cinnamon roll, Mardi Gras cinnamon roll, blueberry fritter, Bavarian cream, red velvet donuts. Everything was fantastic and fresh. Very sweet service as well. It was so good I didn't take any pics. But go! You won't be disappointed.

First time here on Labor Day around 10 am. Line out the door! Looking good! Both grandkids wanted two donuts each with blue icing and sprinkles. And there were only two! Nice guy behind the counter said no problem, let me go make two more! Also got sausage kolaches, donut holes and drinks. For free we got some blueberry and red velvet donut holes to try since it was our first time there. Tasted the donuts and the donut holes, light and airy! Everything looked good and fresh. Want to try their cinnamon roll so will definitely come back!! Go, go go!!

I ordered a five pound cinnamon roll for my son's birthday cake. It was beyond delicious and my son was so happy to have his wish of a cinnamon roll cake come true. The workers were so nice to offer him a birthday treat, but the real star to me was the excellent Swiss and Ham croissant/kolache! As I ate in in my car on the ride home, I wanted to turn around and go get another! I don't live close to this establishment, but I'd be willing to go back. Thanks again.

Most doughnut places are kinda of the same where nothing really sets one place apart. This place was different. First off, they have a 5 pound cinnamon roll that was not just quantity, it was quality! Very good! We also go an assortment of other doughnuts to try and they were all good too. My sons friend ordered an bacon egg l, cheese croissant. They made it fresh after he ordered it. He ate everything. Oddly enough, none of us tried the plain glazed which we all like but we will be back. The staff is very friendly and you could tell the take pride in their food. We will be regulars here and we live all the way in Friendswood.

The man at the front is always trying to help 10 people at one time and doesn't focus on one order causing him to get my order wrong every time. I asked for 2 white iced donuts and made it clear i did not want sprinkles. And then also a white filled. He put me to the side to help other people and then went to get my donut and put a sprinkled one instead of asking me what i wanted since they don't have the one without sprinkles. He also didn't even get my white filled! This place sucks! As represented in the photo he places the donuts in the bag poorly where the icing all comes off! You just lost all of my business. Cambo donuts here I come!

My son and I went on a whim and we were amazed with the size of the cinnamon bun! It's not only true that it's 5 pounds but the taste was exceptional! The employees were so very nice and friendly! We told them we traveled 20 miles to check it out and he gave us each a free apple fritter, which was also delicious! I wish we lived closer we would stop in more often but might better we don't, we would probably put on the pounds! I highly recommend Bonny's Donuts!

The donuts here are delicious and the owners are so nice! They take customer service seriously here. I ordered custom donuts from them and they made them exactly as I specified and were extremely fast. Then they threw in some other donuts to try and all of them were so good! The red velvet cake donut is my fave. I wish I lived closer because this is my favorite donut shop now!

Best donuts, kolaches, croissant, etc shop in League City hands down! The owners are very kind and the price is lower than everyone else. My favorite is the bacon egg n cheese croissant but I'm currently on a diet because of it lol.

I heard about Bonnies birthday donuts through a friend and wanted to try them for my sons birthday on Sunday. I called Saturday morning and the person taking my order was so helpful and told me he'd do it for me even though it was so last minute. As promised they were ready Sunday morning. The couple working there (owners?) found out we drove 20 min so they gave us donut holes and a water bottle on the house for the drive home. Donuts were delicious too!

Aside from amazing delicious & fun donuts you will find hands down the best customer service around. These folks are hard working, generous, kind and fun. We go out of our way and only buy our donuts at Bonnie's. During hard times they always step up & support our community. So if you'd like a delicious donut made by the best; go into Bonnie's and help support them thru this Covid19 crisis; they are up at o'dark thirty baking wonderful tasty treats! Very happy with the letter donuts. They didn't have the colors I wanted so I modified my self. Overall I would order from them again.
