Google
We tried the chicken Cesar wrap and the turkey avocado sandwich. They were both really good, had plenty of filling and were really tasty. They were also perfectly sauced and not overly dressed and soggy. Great for a quick bite and people watching.

Google
The food costs what seems right for what you receive. The service was quick and the vibe was welcoming. Restaurant workers and kitchen output both showed excellence. Most selections demonstrate proper technique. This spot maintains quality consistently.

I tried the chicken salad sandwich, it was very good, had a nice tang from the mustard. The outdoor seating area was nice.

This has been a neighborhood staple for 35 to 40 years. It has a nice assortment of salads and sandwiches and coffee of course. A very few tables inside and outside for staying but mostly grab-and-go. Always high quality food I like good representation of living in the village.

Google
So so so good ! Fave deli sandwich in Greenwich, and the owners are amazing. Steak and cheese panini is awesome, but my fave is the cold turkey & Swiss, on wheat. Chefs kiss 🥰 Can’t go wrong.

Google
Love this place — the salads are fresh and delicious. Food sometimes takes a while, but it’s well worth the wait. I always feel healthy and full after eating here and love to come back!

Google
I love them. Everything is fresh and delicious. Staff is awesome. Chicken tenders, timbales, pasta salad, nectarine salad, beet salad, and broccoli salad are my go-tos. Fire flames

Google
Highly recommend this place for lunch. Good selection of soups, salads, sandwiches. Everyone is very friendly. Their ciabatta bread is 💯.

Yelp
The best baguette sandwiches! Very fresh ingredients. The turkey Brie is my personal favorite. Always busy for good reason.

Yelp
My friends and I came in on a Saturday morning and there was a very short line (only a couple people ahead of us). There was a Halloween street fair going on this street, so there was live music and great people watching. The staff was very friendly and gave us great recommendations. I split the cubano (hot sandwich) and brie & turkey (cold sandwich) with my friend. We couldn't decide which was better - they were both delicious. It was also very reasonably priced for how big they are - $10-12 per sandwich. We'll definitely be back and would definitely recommend it to a friend! However, there is VERY limited seated inside so I recommend taking it to go.

Yelp
Such an adorable NY deli with some great lunch options. We got a bunch of spicy & curry chicken sandwiches, with chicken nuggets and an avocado salad. They even have fresh OJ. The owner is really nice, the service was great and the seating outside is very serene.

Yelp
Very cute pick up lunch spot. On a nice day you walk across the street and have lunch in the park. I've order the streak sandwich and the chicken sandwich. You get to choose your bread for each sandwich which is a plus. Both sandwiches were good and filling no complaints. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a good experience and I will be back.

Yelp
Prices have gone up significantly since I started eating here, while serving size has come down. Service is friendly here but plan on waiting at least 10 minutes for your sandwich. My $12 chicken salad wrap today was mostly lettuce (blocks of it) and little to no chicken salad.

Yelp
COVID report: there are a few benches outside (unheated), otherwise it's takeout only at the moment. Grabbed a few sandwiches and snacks one weekend. Prosciutto and provolone panini was too salty for me, but I absolutely loved the French ham and havarti sandwich. Almond croissant was also amazing. Spinach timbale was great, too. I'd definitely come back for that sandwich!
google avatar

Yelp
one of the best sandwiches I've had! I got the #15 salmon sandwich on ciabatta and the beet salad. the staff was incredibly kind as well.

Jasmine T.

Yelp
Cute place within the city. However I left feeling very disappointed as this place was charming and had good reviews. I ordered a ham and mozzerella sandwich (which comes with tomato and basil). I waited 20 mins for a sandwich that came burnt and did not come with the basil
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing place for a Saturday morning coffee or afternoon lunch. Incredibly welcoming owner and pleasant atmosphere!

Sarah V.

Yelp
Timbales and 3-salads are both fabulous. Super-nice staff. Ambiance also terrific: seen these folks out on the street getting ready for the day early, and being there for everyone in the neighborhood on both good days and bad.

Jack J.

Yelp
Incredible sandwiches and the nicest employees ever, great place to stop for lunch or breakfast. Really great prices too especially for the quality. Could not recommend more!!!

Yelp
Literally my FAVE SPOT in NYC for the Most Delicious Food & Sandwiches!!! & The Owner & Staff so friendly & appreciative of their Loyal + Local Patrons !!!!!

Emma S.

Yelp
This is one of my go to spots for a quick lunch in the west village. Always great service and I love the sandwiches and soups. Curry chicken salad is my favorite.

Yelp
My go to in the west village - great staff, super friendly. Everything is wonderful. Order all the menu, try their sandwiches, soups, chicken skewers etc...

Chris C.

Yelp
Slow, unfair, and rude service. Waited more than 25 minutes for a panini. After 20 minutes watching several customers place order that required preparation and receive them, I made eye contact with the cashier. He mentioned my ticket was next, but apparently didn't communicate with the staff. The staff prepares multiple orders prior to mine. When I brought it to their attention, they told me the reason was the placement of the order ticket on the counter.

Yelp
I love this charming West Village spot; it's been open forever, and just now am I finally scooping up its goodies. My favorites: - hazelnut coffee - mushroom, swiss, spinach timbale (wowsa good) - creamy avocado and tomato salad I've also heard their chicken fingers are incredible, so I'm going back for these. This spot is no-frills, adorable charm, and you can sit at a wooden table inside or a bench outside and watch the world go by (ah, sigh). 5 stars!!!!!
google avatar

Daniel D.

Yelp
Wow!!! I just got the "Best Breakfast Sandwich Ever" ever!!! Great coffee too.
google avatar

Juliane L.

Yelp
I am French, born and raised. I was craving a real French sandwich on French bread. Bonsignour hit the spot. I had a French ham (of couuuuurrrrssseeeee), with Havarti cheese, tomato, lettuce, mustard and herb mayo and it was divine!!! The baguette was a little over cooked for my taste, but it was still delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch, sitting at one of the lovely wood benches facing the sun outdoor. My friend went even more French and had the ham and cornichon one. She also felt the bread was a tad bit too hard. I am so happy I finally got to try this place. Next time I crave a sandwich, a real one from home, this will be where I go!
google avatar

Yelp
Very happy to have stumbled across this cute lunch spot. The sandwiches, grilled mushroom salmon and curry chicken salad were great. Great service too
google avatar

Mandy K.

Yelp
Cute little take out place for quick bites. The make your own salad portions are quite a bit smaller than salad chain places and topping variety is average. The dressing options are all vinaigrette based or lemon/olive oil.
google avatar

David R.

Yelp
Gotta have the Curry Chicken salad. Perfect alone. Spectacular as a toasted sandwich with Swiss cheese. Omg.
google avatar

Peter T.

Yelp
Bonsignor is flat out awesome. There's a reason why there's a line every, single day: the food and staff are fantastic.
google avatar

Yelp
Love their chicken fingers, beets salad, lemonade, and anything and everything. This is such a neighborhood gem; and the service is warm and friendly and fast.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! We ordered the: -Chicken and portobello panini; -Chicken curry stew; Avocado salad & Curry chicken salad All were extremely tasty and I highly recommend this neighborhood cafe! Staff were sweet and helpful as well!
google avatar

Nicolette D.

Yelp
Fantastic local sandwich shop. The tuna sandwich and french ham and havarti were both really good. The tuna was light and refreshing. The bread was great. They were also fairly quick (took ~5 minutes to make). Definitely will be back! Want to try their salads too!

Yelp
Love love love this place! Everything is always delicious and fresh. You get the neighborhood vibe. Service is always amazing. I work around the block and recommend it to everyone!

Yelp
great coffee, best turkey sandwich i've had in YEARS (turkey and avocado with herb mayo), fast service w a smile, and affordable !!!!! its just a bit small so its best for take out :)

Yelp
I ordered the Jambon Beure, Grilled Salmon sandwich and the grilled Salmon. Wow! All 3 were fresh, delicious and fantastic. The salmon was some of the best seasoning and perfectly cooked I have ever had. All of the food that was in the deli was so fresh. Fantastic place. Great staff. Very kind, patient, friendly and accommodating. Just an all around great place to give your business to. So glad I decided to try this place on a whim. I will definitely come back here the next time I'm in NYC.

Yelp
I tried a sandwich here on a baguette on a Friday afternoon. The sandwich was so good ! But also so large I had to save half of it for the next day. I love how they have artichokes which are really hard to find at other sandwich shops and they let you make your own sandwiches. I would like to try the ciabatta next time because most people were ordering their sandwiches on that.

Nola C.

Yelp
Super awesome delicious and amazing. The staff is so kind and wonderful and the sandwiches are heavenly. They even gave me a free lemonade and cookie

George L.

Yelp
Jason is a great guy. This place cranks out amazing sandwiches for a great price. Veggies are always fresh and sandwiches are always tasty. The turkey avocado was my favorite! There is a lot of other more deli-ish food besides their sandwiches. Their baguettes do not miss either. Definitely support this small business. 10/10

Jennifer D.

Yelp
If you are looking for a friendly, neighborhood French bakery/deli, this is it. Great for a decent latte, breakfast sandwich, or lunch salad / soup / sandwich. Always impressed by their daily specials and quick service.
google avatar

Aisling K.

Yelp
This place is such a cute little cafe in the west village. I love the fresh baguettes and the fact that you can call ahead to have them made just for you!

Liz F.

Yelp
Really yummy selection of Italian subs. Beware of long wait times when they get busy, but in my opinion, it's worth the wait.

Jarred C.

Yelp
Service is rude and the food made me sick It's also over priced! I wouldn't recommend

Laura S.

Yelp
Unreal neighborhood gem. Such inventive, delicious, and healthy lunch options. Great arnold palmers, too :)

Yelp
One of my favorite quick bites in the city! The chicken curry is superb, as is the meatloaf hot sandwich.

Yelp
The coffee is realy bad. It tastes acid and they heated up the milk way to long so you end up with a burnt taste. I complained about my undrinkable almond late. They made me another one which I highly appreciated. However the efforts. The coffee tasted as bad as the first one. So I suggest you to go somewhere else to have a tasty beverage. The food however is very tasty and well seasoned ass well is the price. I really suggest their bread which is delici

Yelp
I love this place. Staff is pretty friendly, food is great and sort of on the heathy tip. Not too expensive...it's my lunch go to. I direct all my clients here.

Yelp
Tiny little cafe which sells sandwichs, salads and other prepared foods. It gets really busy during lunch time. After placing your order you stand aside or in the back to let other people pass and wait until they call your name with your order. Sometimes it can take awhile. Other times it can be quick if they already had some premade and ready to go. I love the sandwiches here especially the chicken and avocado, but they are all good.

L D.

Yelp
Love all their salad options and the baguettes are great! Cute outdoor space as well.

Yelp
It's ok, but not raving awesomeness! I came in for a snack and got to sample the broccoli and cauliflower in sesame dressing and it had a good crunch though a bit oily on the tongue. Beet and arugula salad was also ok, but had a bit too much mayo. Came back later in the day for a cup of soup and guy behind the counter recommended the veggie puree soup. It was healthy, but completely bland and flavorless. Only good thing about it was the free roll you get to accompany your cup. You get a choice of roll. I picked the 7 grain, it was a bit chewy (meaning not totally fresh), but it did have a nice sweetness to it that i enjoyed. Severs were busy and on a roll trying to get orders out and make sandwiches and drinks for people, so they were not too friendly; but they weren't rude either. I was able to grab a table to sit and it was nice to relax by the window, looking out into the cold bustling city from a safe warm space where i could disconnect from the rush and breathe as i slowly sipped on my hot soup, blowing steam from each spoonful. Would i come back here again? Yes, if i find myself in this part of town, i would give this place another chance. there were many many options to chose from and maybe i didn't chose the best ones, but a lot of them looked very appealing and i was left wanting to try some of their other soups and colorful salads in the glass display.

Yelp
While I was disappointed in my last sandwich for lunch -- from http://www.yelp.com/biz/av0uPbK4E-ARXWZX014i1Q?hrid=PqYjWQYy9H-_Jz3nNCewFg -- I'm quite pleased with the sandwich that I'm eating right now. Turkey, sharp cheddar, watercress, and lingonberries on whole wheat bread. Freshly made. With honey mustard. It's like Thanksgiving dinner in your hands. The bread alone is worth trying out -- hefty, with a chewy crust. For dessert, I got an oatmeal cookie with chocolate chips -- a rare treat. It, too, is good, even though I tend to like my cookies on the chewy side.

Yelp
I visit this little French gem frequently and it is AMAZING. Great soups, great sandwiches, and great bread rolls / croissants. Their salad deals are a great value - and all of the above is a satisfying lunch or breakfast. The BEST though is without a doubt their cookies. The hamantaschen, the little linzer cookies, and ruggelach all truly melt in your mouth. And when you want a tiny sweet treat, they are perfect. Everything I've ever had tastes super fresh & even when there is a long line, I usually am in and out sort of fast. I recommend visiting here for a great little casual meal. Don't expect to sit down though, just a few small tables in an already small space. Best bet is to grab food & go over to 9th ave, the Highline, or the little squares around this cafe.

Yelp
On a frosty winter evening, I was trudging through the West Village on my way to my Writers Group. I was a little hungry, a little cold, and when I nipped down a side street, I stumbled accross Bonsignour, lit up like a welcoming hearth on a snowy night. How to make me very happy... steamed hot coco and an empanada like my imaginary Argentinian Grandmother-in-law would make. (hey, a girl can dream) This small cafe with a display case of pre-made yummie looking food is a gem. Nice music, nice artwork, benches out front, cute smiling staff. GREAT steamed hot coco. Small, but tasty beef empanada in a lovely flaky crust. $6.00 was a little pricey for cheap old me but for the West Village, well worth it. (And NOT Starbucks!)

Yelp
Being a huge fan of french food, I was really excited to stumble upon this quaint little spot near my new office. To be honest, it's a little tricky at lunch time - a very small venue with not a lot of room to wait indoors (and an inward-swinging door. Wah!) However, the food is really delicious. I constantly order the 2-salad option, which is plenty of food, and their salads are awesome. I highly recommend the couscous salad (tomatoes, feta, green onions, so great), with either their avocado/tomato salad or the potato salad. Everything looks amazing in there, though, and decently priced for the quality. Their sandwiches are also fantastic. I am a fan of the turkey sandwich with avocado and herb mayo. Try it! Go! But order, or go early or after the rush. :)

Yelp
Always love a rustic, worn in cafe, where the aroma of coffee and the sight of cake awakens your senses. The coffee was just great .
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
Has a good ambience, is quick, conveniently located. But that was supposed to be a baguette? And you sell these to people?
google avatar

Lexi G.

Yelp
I used to live next to this little coffee spot. Even after moving across town I still frequent here for delicious salads, poached salmon and amazing soy lattes! Tiny spot with benches outside and colorful locals to chat up. If it's too crowded go to the vegan coffeehouse around the corner called 'Snice. Or grab a Gwyneth Paltrow style juice at Organic Avenue.
