HI, sorry to say this is the worst hotel ever experience in over 50 years. When I arrived I was given the key and that's it. Nobody spoke English nobody was on the counter if I have a question. felt like a prison with open doors. Nothing was open at least for a coffee until 10:00am, tried to stop some people just to ask a question but nobody was willingly at least polite to say NO English. I paid lots of money was not impresse about the area, at least Covid taught me to be patience waiting for the day to leave this place. No need to book here is just a place with some Hanok there in there.

The pictures advertise are not the reality. Staff not available, most time the weren't even there. No communication as nobody speaks English. Very expensive for offering nothing. In my 50 years of traveling staying here was a big mistakes.

Very cool hotel! Loved the interior and exterior of the hotel. It was very fun to stay here, even for 1 night. We booked the Hanok Stay Suite for 7 people and it fit everyone comfortably. Air conditioning was nice, the heated floors in the rooms were a nice touch and bathroom was beautiful. The front desk receptionist was super nice and helpful. We asked her to reserve an airport taxi for us and we left the hotel before confirming our taxi number. Come to find out when we get back to the hotel late at night, she is standing outside our room waiting for us in the rain just to make sure we know our taxi number!! Her customer service and care was amazing and I cannot thank her enough for doing that for us.

Great location, and the hotel does have a lot of potential. It is great to be able to stay in a traditional look hotel. The garden is lovely and from our room you can see the seoul tower.||Unfortunately, the room is small. We do not have a lot of space to put our luggage. Housekeeping is dire. One of our cups is not cleaned, and teabags and coffee sachets are not refilled. The bathroom is of reasonable size, but the design is poor. The glass of the bath is just not long enough, and hence, when u turn on the shower, the water just drips onto the cupboard next to the bath.||I have no problems if u let me know in advance that we cannot leave our pyjamas on the bed. As a result, the next day, the bed was not properly made up. ||This hotel also makes it clear if u stay longer than the checkout time ie 11am, they will charge you.||Not sure I would recommend or come back again.||

The Hotel is very nice and comfortable. Easy to find and staff speaks english. The room was clean and had great views. The only “problem” we had is that left our umbrella outside (but still inside the hotel) because it was wet and someone (another guest) stole it. We complained at the reception desk but no solution was provided: at least they should have gave us another umbrella.

This is a lovely place with an old fashioned feel to it, while also providing modern conveniences. The rooms make you feel like you're in someone's special guest house. It's not high-end and the rooms can use a slight upgrade but even as it is I'd recommend it. There's a cute cafe next door too.

Its OK..... Reception staff very nice. The place is oversold... Its in the middle of a tourist area and a bit shabby. Good wifi.... and due to the 3pm check in and 11am check out, the wifi is good in the garden where you have to wait. Good running trails in the area

The Hotel is right next to the Bukchon Hanok Village, great to take pictures right next to it, an easy 5min walk away from the Onion Cafe Anguk. The hotel is in a great location also close to the orange line. The room was very nice and charming, only the stone floor is very very cold, so have slippers with you. I, unfortunately, have to give the hotel despite the nice clean room and location only a 1-star review because the most important part of my stay was ruined, my sleep. I went to bed having had to get up early for a 15-hour flight and I had a busy day. Those stupid 2 cats I believe belong to the property as they were on property grounds in the garden most of the day sitting right outside my room and howling and screaming all night, I woke up at 1 AM at first, and after that, I could not fall asleep anymore as the cats did not stop screaming, I didn't even know cats scream like this, it did not stop I never had a worse sleep ever. I then got up, took a torch, and tried to use the bright light to shine through the window to shy them away with no success, these bloody cats were so loud I just wanted to leave the property. At around 6 AM I left for the airport, completely shattered feeling sick and nauseous, from not having slept all night and being kept up by those stupid cats. Started out well, but finished awful as sleep is the most important no matter what hotel one stays in. For the peace of your guest's sleep please get rid of those cats for the sake of your new guests.
