Boochcraft Taproom @ Del Mar Highlands Brewer's Deck

We love Del Mar Sky Deck. It is pet friendly and the brewers deck is amazing. Boochcraft is my favorite! Grab some food downstairs in the food hall then enjoy a refreshing glass of kombucha.

The boochtender was super friendly and let me try a splash before committing to a glass of a new flavor. I went with orange pomegranate but as a Boochcraft Superfan, I can tell you they are all amazing. The flight is an awesome option to try a little bit of everything. And they have growler fills! Love!!!

This spot is legit, Jordan knows her stuff! Guava mint for the win. Ginger snap gets an honorable mention

I'm not a big fan of kombucha – "booch" 🙄 – but this place had a good variety of flavors and the bartender was quick, professional, and friendly. The "SkyDeck" is fine: basically open-air, and not _too_ noisy. Food can be ordered and will be delivered from several places in the mall.

Cool venue at the skydeck. Kombucha is a little on the sweet side so not my cup of tea. Service was great and food was decent.

Good selection of regular and seasonal flavors. I’d recommend the flight, better bang for your buck! Got pretty crowded around happy hour on a tuesday.

Rude bartender. He asked our girlfriends for IDs which is of course standard and expected, however he was overbearing and high handed about it. We ended up leaving after feeling that he thought he was doing us a favor.

If I could Jordan 10 stars I would unfortunately I can only give 5 stars! It was my first time here and trying the drinks and she was so knowledgeable, patient and kind. This company is very lucky to have someone like her! Because of Jordan I will definitely be back ! Jordan shared a cocktail she was messing around with and let me tell you that should be on the menu! Thank you Jordan for for making it such an amazing experience!

The booch flights and different flavors were awesome! The ambiance was very nice since it's kind of outdoors on a second story building. Our boochtender Jordan was amazing, very kind, courteous, and attentive. I will definitely be back here due to the great service and also the amazing drinks! They also have 10% kombuchas that aren't available in stores. :) hehe

The blueberry ginger ale flavor was so yum! Not too ginger-y, just enough to taste it. I'm new to hard kombucha, so it was cool to learn that they make theirs "fresh" with real fruit juice on-site. We enjoyed the rooftop, it was good vibes all around. They were running a really good deal on their passionfruit blood orange six packs, so I snagged one. I'm excited to try it at home, and if it's as good as the blueberry ginger ale, then Boochcraft has a new fan!

I was lucky enough to try it at the Yelp's Cosmic Rodeo and it's was delicious the cucumber lime hit the spot 10/10 :)

Lovely place to spend a Sunday afternoon sipping on some kombucha. Throughout the shared seating area, TVs could be found all around. I truly enjoyed all the flavors I had in my flight. My favorite flavor was the dragonfruit mojito. I do wish trying before buying was allowed aka allowing samples. Despite this, I can see myself coming back in the future.

I came to the Skydeck hoping to check out a different bar, but they didn't allow dogs. Luckily, the bar brewery upstairs did allow dogs and had a few drink options including Boochcraft. Since I'm not a big fan of beer, I decided to try some hard kombucha. The flavors sounded right up my alley with its fruity options. I got a flight ($12) consisting of Strawberry Lemonade, Ginger Lime, Peach Iced Tea, and Apricot Earl Grey. There was a hint of each flavor that I can taste, but the sourness and carbonation was just a bit too much for me. Looks like I'm not a fan of kombucha either, but nice to try. The area was still a cool spot to hang though nonetheless.

Always a great experience at boochcraft at sky deck. Kelly was our bartender and she was super knowledgeable about the product and gave great recommendations for the flight I ordered. Love their new fall flavors, ordered the sangria and cranberry apple. Highly recommend!!

located in the sky deck in Del Mar is boochcraft! My friend told me to come by here because I'm on a hard kombucha wave. I do think this is some of the best I've had, the flavors are spot on, & so delicious. The cherry one they had was unreal. I had to go back and get more of it lol. I didn't have a single flavor from my flight that I didn't like. Server was super sweet and helpful. I really love that you can order food from downstairs and have it brought up to your table. Super nice because if everyone you go with is in a different mood for food, you all can get different spots! I'll be back!

Drinks with friends around 4pm on Monday. This bar is located within Skydeck and is one of several places in an upscale food court. I liked this place as it had a view of the decorated palm trees and was an indoor/outdoor situation. You do have to go to the bar and serve yourself. Also, you can order food from select establishments and they will bring you your order in to-go boxes. Such is the time in a pandemic. At first it was pretty empty but by 6, it started to get very busy. I loved the various flavors of hard kombucha. Would come back for a casual drink.

My friend and I checked out the upper level of Sky Deck in Del Mar and Boochcraft was one of the vendors located up there. I decided to get a 4 flavor flight of hard kombucha and chose the following: strawberry lemonade, watermelon chili, agua de jamaica, and passionfruit blood orange. The flight came on a cute little board. I'm not much of a drinker, so my friend helped LOL. Both of our favorites was the strawberry lemonade- it was refreshing, light, and easy to drink. Service was quick and very friendly.

This place is a vibe! A flight of 4 different flavor hard Kombuchas for $12? Amazing. The atmosphere is awesome. Walk into Skydeck, go to the right and upstairs and its an incredible view. We want to come back so we can catch the sunset. Lots of tables and outdoor heating. Peter helped us out when we came and he was super friendly, chill and helpful. We came back the next day because we loved it so much. It wasn't crowded at all for a Sunday night, and we bet this is going to be one of the new "spots". The Mint Mojito was my favorite :)

I went here for a quick drink and found myself in awe of the sky deck. I was quickly drawn to Boochcraft with it colorful board and merch, and it's chill vibes. The bartender was so friendly, I could've stayed and chatted it up for a good hour while she poured it. The hard kombucha I tried was a seasonal hibiscus lemonade. Fresh, and not too carbon-y and not too sour. This is a great place to be alone, with friends, or your doggo.

Super stoked that this place is open and can't wait for the entire Sky Deck to open! Their Hard Kombucha is tasty. You can definitely taste the hint of flavors within each kombucha. Love that it is organic and that they offer flights. You can also order Mediterranean food downstairs and they'll deliver it up to where you're sitting. Looking forward to summer nights here.

Cool spot on a legit rooftop. My wife and I wanted to try it out since she is a huge fan. Drinks were tasty and quite a few they don't sell in stores that were available. Service was good and views were awesome.

Booch craft is an amazing company! The vibe up at Sky deck where Boochcraft is located is so much fun and always lively plus they have some TVs to enjoy watching sports! I love getting the flight because it includes four different flavors! They are all good but my favorite is the strawberry lemonade!

I love Boochcraft! My partner and I came last night and split a booch flight. We tried the Strawberry Lemonade, Cherry Limeade, Passionfruit Blood Orange, and Grapefruit Hibiscus. My personal favorite was the Cherry Limeade but they were all delicious! Or bartender was very friendly and helped us pick out all of our flavors. I look forward to returning and trying new flavors!

For starters I want to say I LOVE kimbucha, I've brewed it myself and taught my own dad how to brew. I've loved pretty much every alcoholic and non alcoholic booch I've ever met. Until today. I couldn't take more than one sip of 3 of the 4 drinks on my flight. The one I did drink was purely out of guilt about being wasteful. I hate leaving bad reviews and saying this but that was the worst kombucha I've ever had and this is coming from someone who's sipped many home brews. So this is a warning I guess to kombucha fanatics that it just isn't good stuff. Very heavy in the added flavors to be fair but missing that fermented kick one expects. The girl bartending was clearly very new and an ability delight so no knock on the service just meh product. I liked the beer my husband ordered from the brewery next door so much more which isn't a positive. Beautiful seating and view.

This is probably one of the two spots at sky deck that doesn't have an hour wait (on a Friday night). There's seatings outdoors but it can get packed. There's a QR code on the table so you can order take out from the selected restaurants in the center. They will bring the food out to your table. I thought this was pretty cool. Got a flight of kombucha. I think it was $12 for 4. So pretty cheap.

Right on top of the sky deck..amazing hard komnucha. We tried the ginger lime..watermelon chili..strawberry lemonade..Kyle's kitchen..apple jasmine. My fav ginger lime and Kyle's kitchen. Kyle's kitchen tasted just like dark and stormy.

We happened to find Boochcraft when going to the Sky Deck in Del Mar to hang out with a friend. I am a big fan of Kombucha in general, so finding Kombucha with alcohol in it was definitely a plus! I recommend getting the flight because that allows you to try four different flavors instead of settling for just one. It is super affordable and when we came they were celebrating their birthday, so Boochcraft provided the flight with a side of macarons which was a cute/nice touch. Seating can be limited if it gets crowded, dogs are allowed, and they even have QR codes that let you order from the restaurants just below Boochcraft. Hope to come again soon and it is a great place to hang out with friends.

I drink kombucha regularly but this was my first time trying hard kombucha! The flight is such a good deal: 12 dollars for 4 decent servings. I got the strawberry lemonade, mint mojito, passion fruit blood orange, and apple jasmine. The first two were delicious, the blood orange was okay, and I don't recommend the apple jasmine unless you like the taste of beer. It didn't really have any apple flavor. We went on a weekend and the place was packed. Although we could only manage to find a seat facing the parking lot, the views around the whole rooftop were still really pretty. It seems like dogs are allowed here as well; someone brought their two Australian shepherds. I look forward to coming back and trying the other flavors!

Do you like hard kombucha? Well, you should. Boochcraft's bar is nestled between two beer bars in the Del Mar Highlands Brewer's Deck, offering a bright and refreshing alternative to the usual IPA. Great menu that includes r&d flavors and stuff that you can't find at Whole Foods or Jimbo's. Recommend getting a flight and finding your new fave. Great service, cool space!

I recently came here with my girlfriend and some friends and it was a great place to relax and hang out with friends. I like kombucha, so having hard kombucha was great! We ordered their flight so that we could try a bunch of different flavors, (recommend this for sure!). They had a lot of outdoor seating and shared the space with other drink places. The vibe was great and the location was easy to find. There was a cool view of the sunset and different food options below Boochcraft. You can also use their QR code to order food and pick it up when it is ready.

Let me start by saying I love kombucha. I also love boochcraft since I've been buying the grapefruit hibiscus in stores for some time. The whole experience here at the bar is way better! Such a vibe. I of course had to try the flight because they only sell their most popular in stores. Their watermelon chili and mint mojito are amazing. My favorite out of my flight was the strawberry lemonade. This is the place to get the full boochcraft experience And yes....my picture has empty glasses. They were just so good!

Amazing location! Staff is nice and quick. I'm not a huge fan of beer and every drink I have tried so far tasted great. If you don't know what to try I recommend a flight You can scan a barcode wherever you're sitting and order food from anywhere in the sky deck. Very interesting concept I haven't seen before and I love it.

I tried visiting Boochcraft Del Mar and after countless attempts at phone calls that were unanswered, I left the 'taproom' because there was NO BARTENDER WORKING. The other breweries at sky deck had patrons and bartenders and were fully open. They had no idea where the Boochcraft employee was or when they would open. I was hoping to take crowlers for a birthday party. The hours listed on their Instagram and their website AND yelp all say they should be open. Seems like this inconsistency is commonplace and there should have at least been a posting. Won't be back to waste more of my time

Great rooftop location at the Sky Deck so you can bring to-go food from nearby restaurants and get a drink. The menu selection was pretty good, they had several flavors I could have ordered...but I decided to order the watermelon chili. It wasn't as flavorful as I expected (could've used more watermelon or more chili), but not bad.

I've been coming to Boochcraft for awhile as I've been a fan of their products for YEARS. Didn't realize they had a taproom until just recently. Boochtenders were very knowledgeable and loved to learn they source their fruit for the drink from local farms. Passionfruit Blood Orange was on tap and INSANELY DELICIOUS! Also dog friendly which is a plus. Will come back for sure. Highly recommend.

Very cool open air tasting room. I won't say come here for the views but come for the service! Super-nice people and great vibe.

Great prices, selection and service. Nice to have a flight available! The venue is loud and very busy with no one bussing tables. You may have to clean off a spot. The food options are great, since many of the restaurants in the food court below will bring food to you on the upper deck bar area. I highly recommend if you aren't looking for a quiet evening!

Came to skydeck and loved getting the flights at boochcraft! The ordering system is super easy, plenty of tables and easy to socially distance at least at 6pm! There hasn't been a single kombucha there that I didn't love but my favorite for sure was the grapefruit hibiscus!! Will definitely be back for more!!

Outstanding and friendly service. This is the spot to come to and hang out with friends. The staff could not be more conscientious, friendly, down to earth and professional. as someone who has never had a "spot" to stop after work, I found the most superchill space. The service and beverage options are five star all the way.

It's Sunday around 1, we come to sky deck again always a good place . I ordered a drink from here everything good . Problem was when my wife asked the bartender for a glass of water we were met with the biggest attitude, no worries, but when my wife asked for a napkin she rudely said there's some in the bathroom!!! Like really ??? I hope you guys hire friendlier staff!!!

Despite Boochcraft being just a fraction of the totality of the Skydeck, it's without a doubt my favorite attraction. The Brewer's Deck is an outdoor seating arrangement that encourages conversation. It gets loud up there, which is great because Kombucha is itself, a loud drink. The outdoor air gels very well w/ the sweet heat of a cold Kombucha. It's incredible that everyone who starts drinking a Kombucha, will finish their Kombucha at exactly the same time. It just puts everyone on a keen wavelength, the wavelength of spice. You might make eye contact with someone drinking a boochcraft 8oz and realize you're in perfect synchronicity. Sure you can avert your eyes, but it's too late, Kombucha has revealed something fundamental. You'll wonder if anyone else is feeling the Kombucha unity. I don't know, it's not my place to know; this is the Kombucha space, and I am just a Kombucha particle floating in it. My path was preordained from the second I touched the Lavender Hibiscus, to my grizzly end at the hands of a particularly violent peacock in LA. It's a total bargain too. In competition with a 10 dollar beer at the neighbors house you're looking at a measly fiver for an 8oz pour. Dollar for alcohol, I think we're getting close to a 12 pack of Natty Ice, and you don't even need to join a fraternity to take advantage of those ratios. To drink a Kombucha is to feel an alertness of the body that comes with eating spicy food. Anyone who has ever loaded up stir fry with peppers knows the keen awareness of the body that comes from tear inducing heat. Lots of drink commercials will advertise alcohol as a social lubricant, but the best social lubricant is physical duress. For folks who don't absolutely love smoldering heat, Boochcraft provides lots of non-suffercore drink options. I was told the Strawberry Lemonade was quite good, I'll never know because I keep drinking the Ginger Lime like it's Capri Sun during youth baseball. Of course none of this is worth anything if the folks working the counter weren't also delightful. I won't name any names because I'm bad and don't know them, but it is very hard to take time to remember a person as a bartender that serves hundreds of folks daily. Everyone who we've met at Boochcraft has been as revelatory as the drink they serve.

Such a cool spot up on the skydeck! There are 3 or 4 different bars that share one deck, but Boochcraft was our favorite. A variety of flavors and plenty of seating with bright daylight. We will be back!

Yelp says they're open until 10:30. Last night I was told at 8:55 that they were not serving anymore. I grabbed a beer from the other bar and at 9:10 was told we would have to leave by 9:30. The bartender was very unfriendly. I will not be back. What a shame, the location is really great.

Gary is just the best. He's the unexpected bartender that is all about hard kombucha. Friendly, helpful, and lots of great stories. Fun and welcoming. Love the flight!!!

I came here today and Elise was so kind she helped me understand the flavors and was just overall such a good worker. I appreciated her good attitude and just a lovely experience. 10/10 would recommend!
