Wow! This coffee shop isn’t just any ordinary coffee shop; it’s the Temple Of Coffee! The coffee beans are sourced from various grains, and everything is meticulously organized and clean. The barista here is not just a regular coffee maker; they’re like a sommelier, ready to guide you on a coffee tasting journey. This place is definitely a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts!

I’d give six stars if I could. First and foremost, the coffee was incredible and made with passion. I stopped in right before the cafe was about to close, but Carlos so kindly made me a cup to enjoy there. He asked me a few questions about what I like and then made me something perfectly adjusted to my taste. I loved how others in the shop were chatting with him as if they were old friends and I felt included right away. Community is so underrated. Of course he has to-go cups, but what a waste because the coffee tastes that much better paired with the experience. His main business is roasting, not the cafe itself so get some beans while you’re there.

I don't drink coffee, but I went because my partner loves specialty coffee. The owner was unbelievably kind and offered to make me Panama cascara which is basically a tea infusion made from the shells of coffee beans. He assured me I would like it even though I dislike coffee. He was right! The cascara infusion was delicious and I enjoyed our visit immensely. The owner is a true artist with coffee and tea. We ended up chatting for a long time in the beautiful cafe.

You will wait for your coffee but it is so worth it. Top 3 espresso shots I've had in Europe. If you're in to specialty coffee and you're in Porto, make the trek out here.

Absolutely worth the detour. An engineer learned and invested to know as much about coffee as edible. Ask about Blue Mountain, or about Arabica Gheisha. And make sure to try the Kenian Arabica coldbrew

Carlos understands coffee and community. His place is not built to be a "coffee shop" but rather he is roasting for his business of selling beans via website or commercial business. He opens his shop on Fridays only, and has one community table. This is not a place to camp out with a laptop and work, nor does he serve any food at all. This is 100% about coffee and conversation, and it is refreshing and relaxing. Thanks Carlos, for always being a great host! I am always thankful when a trip to Porto falls on a Friday and I can visit!

This is an amazing coffee shop that we came across when we were traveling in Portugal! The coffee shop owner, Carlos, is super friendly , and passionate and knowledgeable about coffee ! I have never went into a coffee shop and being asked what type of coffee I like before they start making the coffee I ordered! The coffee was amazing ! The coffee he recommended to us to bring back to Toronto is just exactly the type of coffee we like. This is definitely one of the highlights of our trip!!

Great coffee and a genuinely nice owner. Knows a lot and is very kind to explain everything to you with patience. The coffee I bought to take home was delicious and up to expectations. If you want to try real coffee and change your perception of how coffee can taste, go there. :-)
