Well Boolay located in cucumber alley within Seven Dial’s Market is a cool concept of a crème brûlée and crepe cone. The treat is deliciously prepared fresh to order. The wait for us was minimal and for £5.50 it was a nice treat for something different. It would be nice if the custard filling was warm as this chilled the cooked crepe quickly. Will I return again, possibly but there are other cool places in town I’d also like to explore so we shall see. A nice concept and great to do something a little different.

Disgraceful place!!! I spend 30 minutes on the bus to have a taste of this crepes which a close friend have recommended and by the time I have arrived 12:30 I was told that I have to wait another 29 minutes, there was nobody waiting ahead of me and the girl was barely looking at my face while wearing headphones, her nasty attitude made me wanted to leave and I did!!! Would never pass by this place ever again, overall the place has a lovely atmosphere and better restaurants. I never complain about places because I also work with people and never treat nobody in that way! Avoid this place!

Some pointers about my underwhelming boolay crepe: Crepes are all undercooked resulting in a sticky, mushy crepe. The custard is cold, would be 10x better warm. Overall the taste is underwhelming. Lots of better places to spend your money in cucumber alley. However service is quick, staff friendly, prices reasonable.

Boolay crepes are located in a nice place called cucumber alley near seven dials. Had heard about this on social media so decided to check it out. The idea of having crème brulé in a crepe was interesting and we visited the place on a rainy evening. Thankfully, there was no wait and were served immediately. The process of caramelizing the sugar on top of the custard feels so good to me and it was no different here. Coming to the taste, the custard was on the sweet side and they put a lot of sugar on top for caramelizing it. I think they can cut down on the sugar in both the custard and the caramelized top. Good for people who want a sugar rush. Not worth it if you have to queue up for long.

Unfortunately very disappointed, it's very nice idea but it was not intended for a crowd of people that saw it on social media. Went on Saturday and waited 1 hour to get the crepe. The crepe was okay but nothing special and not worth waiting that long. As other people I also noticed that the lady preparing crepes was not changing the gloves when taking orders and payments which is very unhygienic.

This stall is located in Seven Dial’s Market and very popular on social media. Being a crème brûlée lover, I was really looking forward to it and think this is a great idea. However, it is nothing as good as imagined. It’s basically a crepe cone filled with custard and a caramelised top - £5.5 seems a bit overpriced for what it is. The custard is overly sweet and crepe is cold. I like the idea but I would not return to this place.

I saw this on social media and wanted to try. I ordered the original one and was expecting it to be nice but the taste was just average, a bit too sweet and the custard was cold. Not worth the money. There are better dessert places near by.

We went to Boolay to try the famous crème brulee crepe cones that we have seen all over insta after dinner. The wasn’t much of a queue so that was great. Staff were efficient. I was a little surprised at the price, perhaps a little high. We both ordered the cookies and cream version for £6.60. We had a 5-10 minute wait as I noticed they only have capacity to make 2 crepes at a time. We really enjoyed the cone, one thing that I would say though is that the chocolate in the cookies and cream version didn’t taste like quality chocolate and this detracted from the taste slightly. Quite a cool concept, was tasty but slightly expensive for what it is.
