Behold Boombox, the New Drinking Den by the Beaker & Gray Team - Eater Miami
"Since Bardot’s exit from Miami’s nightlife scene, the space has remained vacant until now. Debuting tonight is Boombox, a nightlife spot from Ben Potts and the Beaker & Gray team. Described by Potts as a place, “you will go for a drink, a party and everything in between,” it’s a spot for weekday happy hour along as well as party venue with music changing nightly. The 3,400 square foot space got a revamp and is now boasting a black subway-tiled entry way, a wood and granite covered bar, distressed concrete walls with antique metal lighting, leather and velvet covered furniture, and a Nicole Salgar and Chuck Berrett designed mural on wall overlooking the pool table. As for drinks, Potts along with with his bar manager Rani Cassuola, created a cocktail menu inspired by “terribly wonderful drinks” from the 80s and 90s like “The Longest Island Iced Tea” or “Lemon Drop the Mic” to name a few. A limited food menu will be on hand from the newly revamped Mason located next door. Boombox is now open nightly until 3 a.m." - Olee Fowler
