The Best New Foods at the 2023 Minnesota State Fair | Eater Twin Cities

"I liked the fried pickles at Mike’s: little spears coated in a cornmeal-and-mustard batter that’s crispy and adheres to the pickles, which stay crunchy and fresh instead of turning to hot wet goo in the fryer. The kick of heat from the chipotle sauce is a welcome complement." - Justine Jones

It's a nice place for kids to play and Seminole has invested in this to build family friendly fun activities. On a side note, I have noticed a white suv with two unkept men that seem to park behind this park frequently for 5+ hours at a time. Occasionally, I've seen them taking photos of kids, from a distance. So, for safety it's just best to supervise your kids at this park and to keep them inside the fenced in area. The play equipment is in good condition, which is a plus for families to have free quality fun with kids.

Stopped on our way through town. We were expecting a nice place to play, stretch our legs, and have a picnic before hitting the road again. The park looks a few steps above abandoned but not many. The information online claims that there are bathrooms available. We only found a shed with porta potties. No lighting and one wouldn't lock. It looked like the ground around the picnic tables closest to the playground had washed out at some point. In their current state, they're almost unusable. Boards were missing or damaged around the playground. Swings were missing or showing extreme age. Wood chips have worn away over time. They look like they should have been replenished years ago. In it's current state, I'd be ashamed to have my name or business displayed on the sponsor's list at the playground entrance. There was a splash pad not too far from the playground. It seemed nicer and definitely more popular.

Major Update!!: its actually been taken down! And they are in the process of rebuilding it! It looks nice so far. "Phase 1" opens sometime at the end of july 2024! The park itself is pretty beat up. Between the the Teens/Kids messing it up,the tornado, and the city leaving it in disrepair. Quite a bit of equipment is missing and the rest is damaged. The back side of the fencing has been removed by some method which makes harder to keep your eyes on the little Littles. Definitely needs work. Update: its worse now than when I originally wrote the review.

Awesome little park. It's made out of wood for most everything. It's got a nice secure area and the kids will play for hours. If your ever stopping through Seminole and have kids make sure you stop. You will not regret it. Best part It's free.
