Boon Boona Coffee

Matcha was nice but really milky (under the darker green foam it resembled more like the white colors in the picture) nice atmosphere. Empty on a saturday. The fenugreek latte is delicious if you enjoy a sweet maple taste, i recommend it with soy milk

Jazmin was really good. We were visiting from Florida and she froth the milk to perfection for both the latte’s and the hot chocolate. It is extremely rewarding to find committed baristas who delight in giving you what you requested with a smile, style and heart.

Great coffee shop inside UW merch and book store. Staff was friendly and answered all our questions. The coffee was very good - drip and mocha. The muffins and sticky bun were awesome. There was plenty of room to sit and enjoy. A nice overall experience for us and we’d love to come back.

I pick up my beans for my at home coffee, and they are spectacular! I get the darkest roast blended for a moka pot, and it is super rich and lasts a long time with tons of freshness!

I visited Boon Boona in Capitol Hill and have been loving their coffee! However they don’t offer the same quality coffee here at U district. This is my third time visiting U district branch and the coffee foam was messy and unfinished comparing to the one served in Capitol Hill. In my first and second visits, the coffee was either too roasted or the coffee/milk ratio was off. I hope the coffee quality can be more consistent across branches.

Amazing coffee. The people there are so polite and loving! They have great quality beans for us who are coffee snobs.

Medium iced latte. Let espresso sit approximately two mins before pouring it into way too much milk. Really disappointed.

Nice little gem inside the UDistrict Bookstore. I got their matcha—and it’s technically good matcha for the price, but they do have a premade squeeze bottle for matcha so it’s not made or prepared with premium grade matcha. I would recommend their coffee over their matcha if you’re picky with matcha :)
