Boongs Grab and Go

Picture this scenario....finished seeing the late show at the AMC 11th Street. Peckish but don't want to go to a restaurant. Opposite you spy Boongs Grab & Go. This is a month old Asian place open 24/7. Gentle prices galore. You pick a drink, sushi and a hot soup. Sit at one of the tables to eat. Then while looking at your face on a selfie you realize that it's time for a sheet mask. Available here for a pittance. On it goes while lounging or snacking on a variety of Korean or Japanese snacks. After all this if one has a headache there are over the counter medicines in packets too. Evening done in under $15. No one will take notice of you ..... after all this New York where anything goes!

Boong’s Grab & Go in the East Village is honestly such a gem. The owner is incredibly sweet, welcoming, and made the whole experience feel personal and warm. The food itself was delicious, fresh, and packed with flavor, and the portion sizes were super generous. One of the highlights of my visit was that the owner offered complimentary food, which was such a kind surprise and made me feel genuinely appreciated as a customer. You can really tell how much love and care goes into the place. I’m already excited to go back—this spot is definitely a must-visit in the neighborhood!
