We had a great first time at Bootstrap. My spouse loved the Pickle beer. The beertenders were friendly, and the band was fun. We'll be back.

Bootstrap Brewing is another nice brewery in Longmont. We stopped an hour from close, they had an open mic and closed with comedian. I was there with my wife and we were not expecting that, that is on us. They had 15 beers on for my stop including: cherry gose, Czech pils, amber, hefe, golden, pickle beer, pale ale, hazy IPA, Juicy IPA, mosaic IPA, IPA, Imperial Red, a stout, and a chili beer. Staff was friendly but it was loud. Their was plenty of seating outside, probably should have sat out there. Beer was a 4 star, I would try again on a more quiet night.

This place has a unique beach vibe to it that makes you feel pretty comfortable off the bat. Easy parking with a decent outdoor area. Great service too! As for the beer, it's not my favorite. They have a solid selection of various styles, but nothing jumped out out excited me. Don't expect much more than the offerings you can find at the liquor store. Worth a visit though.

The Princess and The Troll

Another cool and local brewery. The two bartenders were awesome and we enjoyed the beer. We visited on the Sunday ukulele and kazoo event. It was really cool listening to them sing and play. If we come back to this area, we would definitely visit this brewery again.

Fun night. Joe Palermo from Beatlemania performed with Tom Moran. Great performance and great beer.

Bootstrap is a hidden gem in Longmont. Kind of off the beaten path, it's a lively and unique bar that has live music, a food truck with yummy eats, and a nice outdoor patio section. I will be back!

I haven't had the chance to hang out at Bootstrap, but I can say that Lush Puppy is my favorite Colorado ipa. Just want to show some love to my favorite after-work treat.

Google
10/10 on beer, atmosphere, customer service, etc. The staff is phenomenal and the beer is great. They do a wonderful pineapple beer and hefeweizen. Go here!!!!

Yelp
I'll be honest. We were visiting from out of town, and purposefully stopped in Longmont, CO to visit Left Hand Brewery. We had tried several of their beers in the past, and really enjoyed them. However, when we arrived at the brewery, they happened to be closed. After being disappointed for a moment, we, there were four of us, decided to stop at a brewery down the street. Luckily enough, this brewery just happened to be Bootstrap. As you can see from my 5 star rating, I really liked Bootstrap. Visiting at that specific time seemed meant to be because while sitting outside at their outdoor patio, we saw a beautiful double rainbow !! Some of the things that I liked about Bootstrap was the friendly staff!! They were very welcoming and gave us tips about where to go in Colorado. Also, there brewery was large with plenty of tables and a stage for live music, open mic nights and karaoke. And of course their beer was delicious with a wide selection to suit everyone's tastes.

Yelp
It was way back in 2012 when I first went to Bootstrap Brewing and they were located in Niwot. But as the years passed it looks like they had two locations and one opened in Longmont. Then more time passed and they closed the Niwot when and now only the Longmont location remains. Recently I had a beer from Bootstrap. It was the Chillax, a Pineapple Golden Ale. I thought it was alright but I'm not necessarily convinced I'm wildly in love with Pineapple beers. Just a little too sweet but I wanted to challenge myself on this occasion and I thought it was just fair. But as I said I have been to Bootstrap before... a few times actually and I have a lot more enthusiasm for their chile beer or their cherry ginger beer. So if you can get a hold of those definitely do. They are older beer releases and at the time I didn't see them but I'd definitely keep your eyes out for those!

Yelp
The band tonight was awesome. They are the "Funk It Up", band and man they are great. We had the best time and will be following them and hope they come back to Boot Strap soon.

Yelp
Showing up for karaoke it's so hard to try and sing. The staff have a heyday with Nick the person who DJs it and they takeover. Between the bartenders and Nick each of them had 5 songs each the last time I went there to try and sing and I had to wait through 20 songs just to sing once. We love our bartenders and we love karaoke and Nick but this isn't your show. This is a chance for you all to make money on a Tuesday night when paying customers come to *sing* karaoke. Please give this night back to paying customers who are here on a Tuesday paying to come and enjoy karaoke instead of the paid staff.

Yelp
Visited Bootstrap Brewing Company on a weekday evening - I sat at the bar and ordered a tasting flight of the following ales: 1956 Golden Ale (4.5% ABV) Stick's Pale Ale (5.5% ABV) Insane Rush IPA (7.6% ABV) Lushpuppy Hazy IPA (6.5% ABV) Wreak Havoc Imperial Red Rye Ale (8.5% ABV) Backfire Chili Golden Ale (4.5% ABV) I enjoyed tasting everything in my tasting flight. It was a bit slow while I was there. The staff was very nice! #BootstrapBrewingCompany

Yelp
Beer was so good and the staff was amazing. The atmosphere was very nice and they have something going on every night! I would highly recommend this brewery!

Yelp
Why do they have such a strong bleach smell that hits you on the face when you walk in? My friends and I couldn't even stay. Walked in, gagged, tried different areas of the bar, kept gagging & wanted to puke, finally left. So gross!

Yelp
Casual, comfortable, friendly and a great venue for live bands. Great beer selection. On this visit, Rush Archives was playing live. The music was loud and the cover band was very good, but didn't go in because we had my dog. We chose to sit in the patio area because we could still enjoy the live music without charge, and talk. The patio was nice on a late Summer afternoon, and we easily found a nice spot, shaded with an umbrella. We received immediate attention from the waitress who brought over a bowl of clean, cool water for my dog and took our order. The beer, on tap, was delicious and had I not been driving, I could have enjoyed more, especially with the live band. (I believe that entrance to the event was around $20-25 and it would have been well worth it). The inside bar and seating area was packed with enthusiastic Rush/Rush Archives fans. The patio area has several large tables under the roof and picnic style tables in the sun, with umbrellas. My dog turned out to be a great attention-getter and we met several nice people who just wanted to come over to pet him and then go into other conversations; and this is a casual and comfortable place to do just that! I'm not sure if they serve any food as we haven't explored that area of service there. We just really like the convenience of the brewery on the way home from our dog walks, the casual ease of the place and the friendly people there. There are of course other area breweries, but we prefer Bootstrap.

Yelp
Fun, fun, fun! This is a super cute place with a large selection of beers. Im pretty adventurous, and not normally a beer drinker, but I have to say.....the pickle juice beer was quite tasty!! They have rotating food trucks, but on our visit, it was a Mexican food theme. We ordered the chicken nachos, and while enjoying them, we noticed most everyone ordered the same. There is in & outdoor seating as well as live music. I highly recommend checking it out!

Yelp
Really fun place. We saw an amazing sky band there. It was very well decorated and a fun ambience. Lots of people dancing. Great beer also.

Yelp
Bootstrap is literally a block from my home. Easy ride on the bike or a 2 minute walk. Entrance and brewey is very dark. There's lights but still dim. My husband and I have come several times and will continue to come. However our experience has never been more than a 3. Live music is great, the Chillax is delicious and the Lush Puppy is one of my husbands favorites. The customer service and welcoming of staff (usually one person behind the counter)is not very impressing. If maybe the lighting of the space was different, windows/roll up windows in the west side wall that open to the patio could be a great up bringing. Add more to patio with plants & flowers ( i will cone care for them myself)! I hope this helps not hurt.

Yelp
Great beer! Great music! Great people! Best place to get a 'feel' for the locals and have a real, laid back Colorado evening. If you're into live music, there's something going on just about every evening..check out the open mic and jam nights! Those are the most fun!

Yelp
This was my first time in the actual brewery, I'm familiar with the beers but they were really great! The bartenders Thomas (cabana boy) and Morgan (train wreck) were hands down the best part of the night! They were so fun and kind and really made us feel at home!! We will return just to see them as the were so awesome and great!!

True C.

Yelp
Love this place! Everything from the beer to the service and ambiance was awesome. Go here and have some fun!

Yelp
I am not a beer person and even I enjoyed coming here. I was really impressed by the seltzer that they had on tap. My friends thought the beer was pretty fantastic. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, even with Covid restrictions

Yelp
Easily my favorite brewery! Great people, great beer and great local music! My fav is the gold medal winning 1956 golden ale......Deeee-licious!

Yelp
The new location is great for large parties, often has a larger tap selection, a huge window into the larger brewing and canning area, and often has great music and food. Leslie and Steve outdid themselves on the Longmont location! Definitely the hotspot of nightlife in Longmont.

Yelp
Q: Why? A: Great place to come for live music and good beer. Pretty dark inside, but the outside area is nice to chill out also. Q: What was one unique aspect of the atmosphere? A: You can play cornhole by the actual tanks! Q: Favorite beer? A: Mango! It was a rich beer for being fruity, and not too sweet. Q: Anything to improve? A: It would be nice if they got more comfortable furniture for the outdoor area. They have a good amount of space to hang out outside, but the hard furniture made me not want to stay long.

Yelp
The place had a cool vibe, but wasn't very busy while we were there. The waitress was great. My girl got a pineapple beer that was memorable. The owners had a cool story that I am envious of. Something about following your dreams and letting it ride is inspiring.

Michelle K.

Yelp
What a fantastic atmosphere, courteous staff, great music, and exceptional beer. We will definitely be back in the very near future!

Sophia A.

Yelp
Best brewery around! Fun, lovely atmosphere, AMAZING BREWS, and family owned/operated-- what more can you ask for? They've even got some live music and occasionally food trucks! If you're looking for a new brewery, give Bootstrap a try, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Oh and they are pet friendly. Great and friendly service. Still under construction in some areas.

Yelp
Stopped in for a beer while exploring Longmont. The Pineapple ale was on point, plus an excellent patio for day drinking. 10/10 would recommend if you're in the area.

Yelp
Love this place, simple yet random. Like going to a beach bar in CO with a brewery mixed in. Excellent service an a wide array of quality brews.

Greg L.

Yelp
LIGHTING!!! You have 20 nice looking colored glass pendants that you can't even see because of the blinding bright spotlights above them... why so effing bright, OMG.. kill the overhead cans, they do nothing but make it look and feel like a cold uncomfortable cafeteria ! And really don't like the beers.. at all !

Jessica B.

Yelp
Decent beer but whether we've been there with one sleeping baby or a group of friends with a few kids they are always sooo rude about bringing kids. I'm sure that appeals to some but in family centered Longmont, we'll be taking our free time and money to one of the many other brewery's.

Yelp
This place has awesome beer, staff, and music! Excellent! The place is large and has an excellent patio! Dog friendly, and musician friendly!

Yelp
We had a blast trying out this brewery on Sunday. There were four or give bands playing Tom Petty cover songs and it was awesome. I danced until I couldn't dance any longer.Service was slow but only because the place was jam-packed on a Sunday. They still deserve 5 stars, though, because the ambiance and the BEER were terrific!

Dave F.

Yelp
Wow totally amazing beers! And dog friendly too. Chillax Pineapple Gold has to be one of the most interesting beers we've ever tried. Very aromatic and delicious!!
