Awesome food at Borage. The restaurant itself had a very intimate setting, worth booking in advance. Staff were friendly throughout. Food and wine were fantastic, chorizo (starter) and lamb (main) were probably the pick of the dishes but each dish was great. Good value, we'll be returning, highly recommend!

An oasis in the culinary desert of Bowdon! This place is high end, city centre Manchester quality, at reasonable prices. So pleased that this restaurant is local to us. We will be eating here again guaranteed! The service was really relaxed and pleasant, food and quality of ingredients were good and paired really well with other ingredients. My only criticism is that the coffee was extremely bitter and I couldn't drink it. A little more investment in the coffee quality / brew process would pay dividends. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Hidden treasure restaurant 20mins away from manchester city centre. All food were nice, so as the staff and atmosphere. Nothing particular for recommendations because all we ordered were at high quality🤭Try all of them 😂 Given the price and quality, definitely worth it 🫶🏻

of course nowhere is perfect and this restaurant has a small annoyance. The chairs are uncomfortable. But when your palate begins to enjoy good food, your buttocks have adapted a bit.

Wow! Absolutely taken back by Borage this evening. The food was incredible, service was great and the small number of tables made the experience feel extra special. Highly recommend the scallops starter and the beef sirloin main. I don't think the cost was high at all considering the quality is so good and the food is so beautifully presented. We will be back soon!

The food was so tasty, we went for the 5 course meal, wine superb also.
