Bordertown Truck Stop

A great little truck stop! Support local businesses... I'd rather stay here than the big chains any day.

They offer hot food inside and had a clean bathroom. I tried chicken tenders and a fried burrito. Both where good. The cashier gave me some bbq sauce he had put away that was really good.

If only they had a shower! I'd say that's the only down side of this little truck stop. Not a fan of fired food but it's better here than most hot box cases you'll go by. Good level parking and a good price on fuel. Bathrooms were clean and looked to be updated fairly recent. Doesn't look like much from the highway but it's a clean and friendly stop. Would be a 5 star stop if they had a shower for sure!

I’ve only parked there twice and I don’t know anything about the store or what’s in there…the parking lot is big enough and has enough space for large trucks…it’s messy when it rains buuuut who cares they’re nice enough to let folks park there without paying…thanks for letting folks park without pay,I’ll get in there to make a purchase whenever I can get thru during business hours I normally get thru there late into the night when it’s closed…it’s just my schedule…thanks again! I recommend the border town travel center for truckers getting thru here…

The store is clean The service is quick. The selection is good. Great fresh brewed Iced tea. Five pumps for diesel for for big trucks. But the best thing is the fried catfish dinner and potato wedges. The fish is fresh crisp and seasoned just perfect. Big pieces a four piece dinner is huge and enough for two to share.

Bumpy entrance, but I don't care because fuel price excellent. And food. Beyond all expectations. Tasty, fresh and very good served. Today I came in to get catfish and unfortunately half of displays were empty! Very dissatisfied! But lady behind counter asked me why? I told her why, and she said "don't worry, if you'll wait 5-7 minutes I'll make it for you " And she did. I really love that place!

This place is nothing to look at from the road, but give it a try because inside it is nice and clean and they have a nice clean updated multi-stall restroom. They also have GREAT fried catfish for a great price! They usually have competitive gas prices.

Restrooms were clean, looked like they'd recently been remodeled. Fountain drinks are inexpensive, and their cigarette prices are the cheapest in the area. Overall clean store with good food & friendly service.
