Borgo della Spiga

Our first time in La March was fantastic. Especially because of our stay in Borgo del Spiga. What a beautiful location. The view is really beautiful.||We stayed in a nice double room. Plenty of attention to beautiful details. But the sweet care of Deborah and Andreas made our stay complete. Nothing is too much for these two lovely people. Two times a week we had a very good meal.||If you are looking for peace and quiet, relaxing in beautiful surroundings, then this is the place to be. We will definitely come back.

We had an absolutely wonderful 3 nights at Borgo della Spiga - it's an absolutely beautiful spot overlooking some spectacular Italian scenery. Enjoying a drink or dinner on the terrace whilst the sun was setting was just amazing. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the hospitality of the hosts, Deborah and Andrea (who both spoke excellent English) was even better!||||Amazingly for such a quiet, peaceful and relaxing place, it is only 30 minutes from Ancona airport - getting in the pool so soon after our long flight was just the perfect way to start our holiday!||||Unlike some other areas of Italy, this whole region has very few tourists, the roads are very quiet and so perfect if you are looking for that authentic Italian experience and Borgo della Spiga was just the perfect place to base ourselves for a few days to explore what this area has to offer.||||We are definitely looking forward to visiting again!

I could go on but in every language BdS is outstanding. Its location, on a small dome of land provides for the most exceptional 360 degree view, with several hill top towns on the horizon. The garden is quite spectacular, as is the pool area and from every point there is that view. We were surprised by the variety of bird life- regularly visited by hoopoes, a flock of Europen bee eaters, and on our first evening as we had dinner on the bistrot terrace a "murmuration" of small egrets.||We stayed in an apartment- with a large double bed on the mezzanine floor, and a large fold away double on the ground floor- which took literally 20 seconds to convert to a most comfortable bed, and 20 seconds to convert back to a large very comfortable sofa. Aircon was high quality, effective and almost silent, and needed particularly for our first few days with temperatures above 30C.||Pool was beatifully layed out and with lots of high quality furniture.||You might be impressed with a 5/5 rating on TA- but BdS is better than that!||Deborah and Andrea are constantly on hand, to respond to any queation, and always ready with suggestions.||This is truly a beautiful place.

Stayed for three nights and loved every second. From the contact made before arrival through the wonderful experience Of staying at this gorgeous country house to our departure we were the recipients of such amazing service. We were lucky enough to enjoy a meal with other guests which ended up to be such a memorable evening. Amazing views, amazing pool and spectacular rooms Oh yes. And a breakfast. Not to be forgotten.

If you want to spend your holiday in the Marche in Italy, this is the place to be. The landscape is a dream, as is the venue. The design and the tidiness of the rooms, the breakfast, the overall care, it is beyond comparison. Moreover, hostess and host are the nicest and caring of people. Plus, and this is the icing on the cake, their cooking is unbelievable. If you have a craving for natural ingredients that are being combined to create the most delicate of dishes, then don't look any further.

Deborah and Andrea made our first stay in Le Marche a real success ! Beautiful location, nice design of house and surroundings, enjoyable and rather big pool, situated centrally to go and visit the region. Everything spic and span clean.|Very nice and correct people, that make you feel at home. |Try the dinners whenever organized !

We spent 4 nights at this lovely country house. ||We were looking for a place to relax and unplug and this was absolutely the right choice:. silence broken only by birds ‘ singing and stunning views .||||Actually the place proved to be even better that on the website .|||| Many are the strong points: ||||the position : up a hill with a 360° view over an incredible landscape. ||||the swimming pool : amazingly positioned , overlooking the same stunning landscape .||||the country house : lovely , with attention to essential details , but no frills - nice terrace for breakfast , beautiful well finished garden, a shadowed parking area . Everything goes well together : the color of the house , the flowers , the white little paths , ||||The room : we were in room 5 : bright , clean , minimal furnishing but equipped with everything you need and which makes you appreciate the the stone walls and the typical brick beam ceiling ..|||| A small communal fridge is available in a nice sitting room area where the rooms are placed .||||Breakfast : healthy , good choice of sweet and savoury , fresh fruit salad and homemade yogurt and cakes - due to covid breakfast was not buffet but we could choose what we wanted on a menu .||||the owners offer their guests the chance to have dinner there three times a week and we strongly recommend to have it because it’s really good .||||And last but not least, the owners : Deborah and her husband ; always ready to satisfy your requests but also never intrusive .||||Anna and Francesco from Italy

We've had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay at Borgo della Spiga. The lady of the house is very, very friendly and eager to help you in anyway possible. The location is magnificent and the view at the pool is breathtaking. The apartment is all new and very well equipped. When visiting this region, seriously consider staying here!
