Borgo Poscolle

Our first meal on the way to Grado. The sweet Restaurant is located in a plateau, surrounded by green mountains. In front of the house are standing two donkeys, eating the grass, breathing the fresh air. The purple blue moonflower greeted us firstly. A small path strengths to the Borgo Poscolle. Waitresses they are very kind, friendly and warm. Inside the renovation is like home. Comfortable and full of paintings on the wall. Menu is written by Italien but it doesn’t disturb gourmet to explore the delicious cuisine. I ordered Tonno di coniglo con verdure in agerodolce as appetizer, but actually the portion is just as huge as a main dish. The pickles provide freshness and make me have more gusto to eat more. As second course I had tagliolini Al Nero con gamberi, zucchini. Since the dish presented in front of me, I smelled the sea! Of course I finished all of them without left any sauce. 😋 The fact is that I am good at picking up dishes. I am totally satisfied with what I ordered. Here also offers good quality ham, bacon, salami…. Top! So if you can’t stand hunger till Udine, just come here to have a nice rest.

Nice restaurant, good environment and service. Accept credit card, which is not very common in the region. Good food, menu change on daily basis, based on the ingredients available locally.

Is the first time that I have wished I could give 10 stars. I almost don’t wanna say anything because I’m afraid of the secret will be out… I enjoyed the food and the flavors more than the last Michelin star place I’ve been to. Isabelle farm to table and legit local sourcing and family heritage is incredible. What a lovely little place.

Excellent! If you are on the highway looking for a country setting super tasty place with reasonable prices this is it. Very kind people. Great menu. It's really so cute in this place it's a perfect family spot or dining for two. We enjoyed the black pasta with shrimp and the steak as well as the cheese plate. It's only 15 min through a small town and well worth the time to avoid gross off the highway places. Grateful for a lovely meal. Thank you! Merci! Grazie!

This was my biggest disappointment from all of my holiday in Carnia. It was suggested as a place that you can eat very nice food and enjoy the county side, but didn't leave in me this impression when i was there. The portions are little, the wine was average and the prices for a portion high. The stuff was not helpful.
