Where has this place been??? The perfect addition to our neighborhood, which is so dog friendly to begin with. The facility: there’s plenty of spots for outside seating. BUT. The real gem is being indoors. You walk into the entrance that separates the place into two sections: small cafe area AND the seating/play area for dogs/owners. This entrance serves as a safety net for dogs: if the front door is open, you cannot open the door to the seating area. And vice versa. It’s a great feature. My dog LOVES playing here. He’s able to run around and play to his hearts content. And it’s so nice to have a neighborhood place to be able to take him for a treat. He loves the bacon flavor pup ice cream, and I love the matcha lemonade they make here. I can’t wait to bring friends here to play again.

Wonderful addition to the neighborhood. The team there are lovely and welcoming, They have a range of dog treats and items but also have a large menu for humans. They'll soon have wine and beer in evenings as well as events like trivia, bingo, etc. Check it out, even if you don't have a dog.

Boris & Horton is an absolute gift to our day every time we visit—a true gem and an easy favorite. Since opening in Williamsburg, the Eloise latte and a treat for my pup have become staples of our little morning routine. The staff’s warm welcome and genuine kindness contribute to a community that is inclusive and filled with pure joy. Thoughtful and creative, Boris & Horton is truly something special. Grateful for the friends and fun memories made over workdays spent here.

I personally don’t own a dog but I enjoyed working or reading at boris every single time. It’s so calming and meditative to sit here for a hour on a Friday afternoon. Be nice to all the dogs here! Love the community!

Boris and Horton is an amazing addition to the neighborhood! it is clean, friendly, and inviting. It is also such a nice way to get your dog some playtime when the weather outside is poor. Coming here has also helped socialize my dog a lot- he never really wanted to go to the dog park or play with other dogs, but I found that taking him here got him comfortable with other dogs and now not only does he love going but he drags me to the dog park every chance he gets. I feel so lucky to have this place for him ❤️ They also have a robust menu for food and drinks- for humans and dogs!

This is my favorite coffee shop in Williamsburg. There are some nice cafes with great coffee but Boris & Horton has it all. Solid coffee and drinks, a lot of space and natural light, and really cute dogs. Staff are always very nice and respectful to pet owners, and somehow all the dogs are playful and well behaved. I would highly recommend coming here as a pet or non-pet owner.

Used to love this place since I could get some work and reading done while my puppy plays with other dogs. We’ve been going for weeks and my puppy has been having a wonderful time, until this extremely rude waitress gave me attitude because my puppy peed in the store. She impatiently asked me to put diaper on him or put him on a leash (?!) he’s just 7-month old, obviously would still make mistakes, but he’s super friendly and has been bringing fun and laughters to other customers and dogs. The waitress was very harsh on us, rolled her eyes and asked me to clean up immediately. I don’t mind cleaning up (though isn’t this her job? Why did I tip her if she’s not bringing my coffee over, which is totally fine, and not cleaning up, as she should?) but her rude and condescending attitude really threw me off. My puppy always played so well with other dogs or people (see the videos). It’s just sad that there are people who dont accept puppies are still puppies, don’t welcome puppies, and somehow chose to work at a dog cafe (a bit like a mean principle who hates kids but working at a day care?) Anyways, I stopped going after that.

This is the most AMAZING place!! We met one of the owners today and he was so friendly and kind. Our dog is a rescue and tends to get nervous but he was so happy in Boris and Horton! We will be back… lots!!!! PS buy their treats!! Our dog is picky but absolutely loves them!
