Very sophisticated "regular" food (meaning not experimental Michelin star food, but rather typical fishes with an extravagant and detail oriented execution) at a just above average price. Our dishes turned out delicious and light on the stomach. Ingredients were perfectly made, and flavours very pleasing. Portions were not on the huge side, but sufficient for an average hunger.

Super cosy, cute and relaxed atmosphere. The food was amazing! Very creative dishes but in a non pretentious way. They're often classics with a very nice twist, even the vegetarian options are well worth it. Really well made, served with love. We felt very welcome. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Wonderful meal. The “small bites” are not as small as you would think. We ate bone marrow, hamachi crudo, beef tartare, sea bass and steak with pepper sauce. Best meal in Belgium. Very friendly service.

The experience my family and I had on the 17th of December for lunch was fantastic, and flawless. The cooking of the chateaubriand was just the best cooking of beef I have ever witnessed and tasted. It melted in the mouth with the incredible sauce it was served in. The cockles starter was very enjoyable, and I really enjoyed the citrus Eton Mess for dessert. The whole meal was accompanied with very tasty wine, and the waiter made us feel so welcome throughout the meal. Top level experience for me, and deserving of no less than 5 stars!!

It was a very nice experience. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is great and not too pricey for the quality of food! Love it and can’t wait to go back there!

After visiting Boris & Maurice for 3 years now, I have revised my rating to 5 stars (4 stars previously). This has become one of our favorite restaurants to go for lunch or dinner. There's often a fresh menu to enjoy, and each experience has been great ever since our first visit in 2022. The personel is very friendly and charming, the interior cosy and modern. Highly recommended!

I'm not sure many tourists come to this restaurant, it seems like it's a favourite for locals and it would be for me too if I lived here! We received a very friendly welcome, ate lots of beautiful food and enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxed, good value meal away from the tourists.

We had a very delicious meal at Boris & Maurice. I loved the Gruyère beignets and the young chicken especially. Beautiful flavors, generous portions and overall wonderful value for money. The staff was so friendly and kind and accommodated our lack of Dutch speaking skills. I can’t wait to return!
