We came from Vegas and were craving pizza! We found them because of their reviews and we don't regret it because It was such a great experience, the calzone was delicious! As well as the ceaser salad with chicken and added shrimp, the meats were so we'll seasoned, and we also tried the cannoli and my husband fell in love with the filling! We got helped by Cesar, he was so helpful & attentive, we can't wait to come back again, would definitely recommend coming!

I had an amazing experience at BORJA’S Italian Restaurant! The workers, Carmen and Cesar, were so welcoming and attentive. The meatball was absolutely delicious, one of the best I’ve ever had! The Meat Eater Pizza was packed with flavour and hit the spot perfectly. After an incredible event, I hung out with my friends at the restaurant, and we were all impressed by how clean and inviting the place was. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Italian food with great service!

Reviews say it’s a hidden gem, and I do surprisingly agree. It’s not located in a populated area, but it’s definitely a destination restaurant for great food, good portions, and great service. Give this place a try.

We found them on DoorDash under BJs Italian restaurant. Couldn’t find on Google until we noticed they’re under BORJA’S Italian restaurant. Called to make sure we got the order in. SUPER nice and reassured us. Pulled up at night to a dark empty lot (got there past 10pm). SO happy they’re open late. Though idk if their Google hours match. EITHER WAY. The food was done quickly, all of it was warm and so so so good. Everyone in there was genuinely nice and very friendly. Which feels so rare now a days. We got a few pizzas, meatball & spaghetti, lasagna (highly recommend) and pepperoni cheese rolls (they give 2 but we ate one so fast before taking a photo). Hit the spot of exactly what we were craving. Very happy & excited to come back soon!

Requested pesto sauce as part of my customization, but what I received was just cheese and cream—no pesto at all. Order didn’t match what I ordered. They did consider my customization and added those but the base was not upto the mark.

Came to this spot by error but wow , it didn’t disappoint! Fresh Italian plates served and delicious! What’s more surprising are the great prices. Definitely coming back! Fettuccine was creamy Lasagna was plenty of meat and sauce Garlic cheese rolls were amazing!

I cannot recommend this place enough! Have been on the road with my family all day, went to about 3 different pizza places that were all closed. Thank god because I wouldn’t have found this place! Friendly staff, great price, warm environment, and pizza that reminds me of New York!

I called and talked to Cesar about my delivery order and he was SUPER kind and helpful with everything. Genuinely above and beyond! I got the spicy vodka and french fries and he was able to tell me about the food and make sure everything was the way I liked it! Cant wait to come in person and see the restaurant

Overall, my family likes the food here but there is room for improvement. When we arrived we were concerned that it was closed because no one was there. Everyone who came in picked up their food then left so this place is known for pickup and delivery and not sit down dining. Clean restaurant and bathroom. pizza - good but dough was a bit tough and dense. pricey for the size. spaghetti- slightly too tangy but edible. consider adding basil or garlic or onions. free cheesy bread- hard and stale (sprinkle water and reheat to soften the bread.) service - friendly and attentive vegetarian - not a lot of healthy options but there was pizza and fried eggplant and spaghetti. fried breaded eggplant got soggy after awhile and didn't have much flavor. Please ask if people want cheese on top or not in case some people don't want cheese. The menu didn't specify the list of ingredients so people with allergies will need to be aware of this.

Had delivery. Food was decent portions - all around. I had Greek salad, chicken parm, side of sausage. Overall - give it a 3.8 maybe 4 stars - solely because the sauce was burned ..... you can definitely tell. Absent that - it would be a 4.2-4.3

Over all food was ok. I did get it delivered so I'm not sure if it is best when you eat it there. The pizza was good, but the dough was a little undercooked. The wings had great flavor but I asked for them to be extra crispy and they were not. Overall it was good and I would probably come back to try them at the location instead of delivery

I again ordered pizza & spaghetti from Borja's Italian Restaurant last night & as always it was delicious! I've been ordering their food for a couple of years now & couldn't be more pleased. If you love pizza & other Italian dishes then give these guys a try!

We usually get our coffee run from here at work. This was my first time having to do the run. The girl asked me to hold on not a big deal literally ignored me the whole time not wanting to help me. A guy popped in from the back. Super helpful took my order their coffee is awesome by the way. I was happy. The girls getting my coffee ready to give to me she says they don't have trays I laugh because I seen the trays I just say ok I'm going to struggle carrying all 3 of them.The guy comes back and gives me a tray saying they do have them. Idk what the girls deal was but wasn't feeling welcomed by her or like I wanted to go back from her vibe and service. I laughed it off. This place is a little hidden gem in Irvine. I've only ordered via DoorDash, so can't speak to the inside of the store. I have ordered 2x and every time the food has come quickly, is packaged really well and always hot and fresh. As far as apps go, really love the garlic bread--reminds me of good ol' garlic bread your Mom would make at home. We also ordered mozzarella sticks, which tasted good but seemed they were probably previously frozen. I opted for the tortellini with added chicken and Alfredo. To be honest, the chicken was a little bland and the Alfredo sauce was very runny--almost liquid consistency; the flavor was good though. I would try other things at this place and probably order again. Def a more causal/fast food Italian joint, but overall tasty!

First time here and pleasantly surprised. Hidden behind John Wayne Airport, this place is definitely one you find based on Yelp recommendations for restaurants open at 10PM. Upon arrival, we were greeted by happy staff and a clean restaurant. Our meatball sandwich was flavorful and the sauce was perfect, not sour/bitter or overly sweet. Excited to return to try other items on the menu.

A hidden gem nestled in a business plaza in Irvine. My friend introduced the place to me and it might be a new favorite spot. We went around 5pm and there wasn't a lot of people in there because they mostly do to-go orders. The owner helped us out and was very on top of it. He gave us our waters and bread right as we sat down. I ordered the Chicken Carbonara and it genuinely hit the spot. The portion was big, at a great price. Not to mention that it tasted amazing and the sauce was super creamy. Will definitely come back again!

This restaurant gives amazing customer service and amazing pizza like for real for real it's not fake you should come eat here just sometimes the jefe isn't here.

This is genuinely one of the best italian food i've ever had and at the most affordable price, especially in Irvine! The service was amazing and our server was very attentive and kind. It is hidden in a lot full of office buildings, which is why I think this place is like a hidden gem! Highly recommend if you're craving pasta at a very affordable price!

This place is open on weekends in an industrial complex. It must be good, how else would they stay in business?!?!? On Sunday, there is parking everywhere. No alcohol is served here. When ordering, we asked what was good and the woman said, with conviction, 'Everything'. We ordered the Angel a La Checa (with chicken added) and Chicken Parmesan. Bread comes with the meal. Both are very good and excellent for the price. We used our Entertainment Book which had a buy one, get one coupon. With the Entertainment Book and Yelp, you can find hidden treasures and this is one of them.

Really good italian food. Usually, get takeout pasta from here with creamy marinara and meatballs. Overall, it's flavorful and filling and reminds me of Mama Dees in Newport but with no wait and cheaper prices. I would highly recommend it.

I always grab lunch from here because they have awesome lunch specials for 14.99! I think theres like 14 or 15 lunch special choices. With your selection, the dish comes a choice of soup or salad, and a drink. My current go-to lunch fav is the Penne with Vodka sauce. It's yummy. If you pay with cash, they also give you a discount!

This has been me and my boyfriend's go-to favorite Italian restaurant ever since we discovered it! The food is consistent and great everytime!! We always get the special and also the build-your-own pasta for the creamy marinara, which I think is the star of the show. We also love the house-made marinara sauce and meatballs!! Its quite affordable too, and the owners are super nice whenever we see him :) We are also happy to support a small business and highly recommend trying this place out for good affordably priced Italian food!!

This place never disappoints! It's by my office so I go pretty often and everything I've had is so good (pizza, pastas, eggplant sandwich), great price, and ready quickly. They do lunch specials for like $17 with tax and it's more than enough for one meal, and all the options are so good. We've also done office catering size lunches from here and the portions and price are great compared to other places, and ready on time. It's definitely a common request for our office lunches. I'm pretty sure it's also locally owned and the couple that own it are the ones who are working when I pick up orders, and are super nice.

We placed a to go order with Uber Eats. The restaurant is in a quiet industrial area near our church. They seem to get a lot of to go orders and there really weren't any customers inside, but the staff was helpful and friendly. We ordered a Calzone, Cobb Salad and Breadsticks. Everything was fresh and delicious. My son loved his cheesy calzone. My salad was fresh and flavorful. I'm so glad we gave this place a try.

First time visit, location is hidden away in an industrial park and it's open late , so we found it Great food , great service , nice ownership Started with some garlic bread , could have been little bit more crispy but also had side of meatballs that was excellent . Loved the sauce Wife had a salad with lots of cold cuts and cheese , she loved it Add some calamari rings that was excellent I had one of the best pizza I ever had in California Thin crust , xtra cheese , onion and ground beef It was great If you can find this place in Irvine in the industrial park , it's worth it Plenty of parking too

Tried Borjas last week and soo glad I did! I of course read the reviews before going :). I got the most delicious caesar salad to start with and it had fresh shaved parmesan - deelish ...would have liked one more container of dressing but that is okay - their salad is easily enough for 2-3 people, that is why I say more than 1 container of dressing...then I got the rigatoni pesto with chicken and this too was really good...would have liked a little more sauce but that's okay...there truly was enough for probably 4 people, hence, more sauce would be nice...and then I got some of their garlic bread which was perfect! And a drink! And all for $21....you cannot beat that! This was a definite hit outta the park and I recommend you try it out...by the way, the owner was there and very friendly and happy and eager to make my dining experience a good one so service was def 5 star.... Try it, I guarantee you will be glad you did.

A hole in a wall place in a Industrial/Business area in Irvine. They recently opened, and I'm so glad they did. My husband and I were craving a simple Italian place (not a restaurant), and we found it! They have great reasonable prices with add-ons. The menu is big, giving plenty of choices to choose from. Service was friendly and helpful, family owned! Atmosphere inside: relaxed with open window concept, plenty of seating inside just need to order in the front. They also have a tv and fireplace in one area. The food we chose was delicious and plenty. Both our pastas came with garlic bread. As an appetizer, we got pepperoni cheese rolls, which was pretty much mini pizza bites. I saw someone get a SALAD, and it looked huge, definitely big enough for 2 people to share. We will be coming back to try the pizzas next!

I love this place so much. The food is always fresh and delicious. I have a few favorites, but everything I've tried is excellent. Customer service is 10/10. The owner (I think he's the owner) always knows me by name and is so kind. You can tell he really takes pride in the restaurant. Highly recommend for a perfect Italian lunch if you're in the Irvine area. Ask for a side of creamy marinara to dip your garlic bread into, or anything really! It's so good. Prices are reasonable and the restaurant is easy to get to. Give it a try!

Picking up a catering order for Foodja. First impressions: Smells like a great South Phila Italian Restaurant. Picking up cannolis. Family owned. Will come back with the Princess for dinner.

i absolutely love this place. their food is amazing!!!! they have sooooo many favorite dishes of mine. one favorite from the appetizer menu are the garlic bites. i have never tasted anything sooooo delicious i love to dip them in the marinara sauce they give you....that's just 1 item i love....please please please please visit this place. ceasar, the manager, is a kind, christian man. he has an amazing wife who also works there....thank you

A HIDDEN TREASURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do not know where to start. I took my employee her for her birthday as she loved Italian. I picked a spot close to our office with high reviews. I almost didn't go since we were celebrating her birthday and wanted to go a bit more fancy but I am soooooooo glad I went for the high ratings instead. These guys delivered on every single thing. The food was phenomenal, best vodka sauce I have had in years (since my favorite Italian spot closed) and I was so shocked I almost cried. I used to be a pasta junky. She had the Alfredo and loved it. We also had the stuffed spooky Skelton shaped heads - to die for. The tomato sauce was on point and the service - holy cow. Are these people for real? Carmen was a SWEETHEART. HONESTLY I CANNOT RAVE ENOUGH ABOUT THIS LITTLE GEM. They are family owned - literally - wife hubby and son are all there making food magic! Please don't overlook this spot; these guys deserve 10 STARS thank you so much for an amazing experience. You guys have customers for life - we plan to cater with you and order office lunches etc etc. See you soon!!! (Now I am super worried about my waist line)!!! :p

I never leave a review but I have been ordering the Italian panini from BJ for so long. it's my favorite! So good! Tonight I ordered on door dash and I was totally disgusting. It looked like someone carved the bread and there was no Mayo like usually. The presentation was poor and I can tell they used half of the meats as usual. Very disappointed!!!!

Food was fresh and sooo gooood ! We ordered multiple different things and all was so good. Service is more than amazing . Staff very caring . Ambiance is relaxing and quiet enough where you can actually have a conversation . Without raising your voice .

Amazing service and good food! Perfect place for our group looking for a late night meal that isn't fast food. So grateful! Cesar was awesome! Shrimp was good! Tons of salad! Portions were excellent! The seating was super comfortable. We can't say enough great things about this place.

The truth is that I got carried away by the Yelp reviews and the truth is I was disappointed, the pasta has no flavor, the "panceta" bacon I think they were so busy that they didn't cut it and the chicken seemed old and the garlic bread the same.

Excellent Greek salad with fresh crispy ingredients. Got the cheesy bread too so warm and toasty, so flavorful, dipped in an awesome marinara. Very glad we chose this place.

We ordered take out for a family holiday dinner. The chicken parm was excellent. We all agreed we need to give them more business. Although tucked in a business park, this gem has Italian food to rival many high end Italian restaurants. We will be faithful customers. Customer service was excellent too.

This place is a hidden gem! It's a bit tricky to get to but it is definitely worth it. The place is nice and clean. The food is delicious and fresh! The pesto pasta is very good and creamy and the pizza was perfect. The service is excellent. The servers were so kind and friendly The atmosphere is very welcoming. We will definitely be going back again!

We were passing through Irvine and looked for good "homemade" food. It was delicious, Greek salad was fresh and tasty, Alfredo pasta with chicken, spaghetti Parmesan was also delicious and freshly made. Philly steak was decent, my husband was not fan of the bread used. Pizza was also good and tasty. Service was great, friendly. Nice and clean restaurant. We were there Friday around 5:30pm sitting alone but people coming in and out like crazy for pick ups, that tells you how good this place is! Love to find places like this on our travels! Highly recommend!

This place is a hidden gem in Irvine; it's located in an unassuming commercial business complex and the food was amazing. They have an extensive menu and I was deciding between a pizza, a cold sandwich, and a salad. I decided on a ham sandwich (which means I will come back to try the pizza and salad!) and it exceeded what I was expecting from a sandwich. They give a generous portion with lots of ham and cheese especially. The bread was fresh and it was a really tasty sandwich! My friend ordered a calzone and loved it! It was cooked to just the right texture and the cheese and pepperoni inside were so delicious. The restaurant is spacious and clean, and the man taking our order was very friendly, polite, and patient as this was our first time eating here. He recommended a few dishes to us before we made our choices. We'll be coming back very soon!
