This was an exceptional experience! The food and service was great, and we enjoyed hanging out in the sign bar to eat it. I enjoyed the burria tacos, but the real star was the elote. I had to send my husband back for a second order, it was so good!

We were really intrigued with this food truck. The fusion of cultures was the draw. Food: We ordered birria tacos with venison chilli. The tacos were super dry. The venison chilli added to their broth smelled like arm pit, and tasted off. The street corn was edible but definitely didn’t have that fresh roasted flavor. It had that liquid smoke flavor added to corn that was pan fried. Service: He told me about 10 minutes. It took a lil over 30 mins. The atmosphere: The wait in line was short. All for $30?

When I tell you the cabbage was hands down my fave!!! IT IS A MUST TRY! I love soul food so I take my cabbage smothered, but this was cabbage with a twist and it was DAMN GOOD!!! Birria was rockin’ and juicy, very flavorful! I am coming back to try one of EVERYTHING ESPECIALLY THE CABBAGE AGAIN!! Because why in the hell is that on a late night menu and so damn good?!?!?

We enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich (Texas style Cubano), the aioli was a great addition. In addition to that addition we added the frito pie with additional wild game meat. The Mexican street corn was perfect and the special Mexico cheese added the perfect salt. Additionally the service was superb. 10/10 stars.

Yelp
I always wanted to try the food at Born And Braised Food Truck, which is by Sagebrush on S. Congress . Today my husband brought home dinner from them. It's soooo incredibly tasty that I just have to write a review. We had the venison chili with Fritos, Texas caviar and the fire roasted corn. He also gave us a piece of braised turkey to try and it's fantastic. If you're not a meat eater, there are veggie options. Everything is absolutely delicious. I'm so happy we live nearby! Go and check'em out.

Yelp
Outrageously delicious food. Venison, wild boar and summer sausage dishes beautifully prepared with lots of house-made veggies. If you're not a meat-eater, there are many vegetarian options including terrific Texas Caviar. Consciously made food by a chef who cares. Open late for those of us who are creatures of the night. Update 5/18/23: tonight I ordered the Venison chili, fire-roasted corn and braised turkey. All of which were sublime. The braising renders meat super- moist and tender. He's got a bigass braiser in his truck! Chef Woody is a master of the art of cooking. Terrific!
