Soooo incredibly yums. Food is on par with the food I’ve had in NYC (I used to live there) which says a lot! Favorites included the scallop with brown butter and truffle blend (could easily down ten of those), the scallop/salmon crudo, the mussels (which we learned are uniquely bred to be this plump), and, to my utter delight, the bread. Not sure what they treat the bread with, but it’s some of the freshest and crackliest baguette I’ve ever encountered. The salted butter is chef’s kiss.
Owner is a real gem and cares deeply about the sourcing of the ingredients - palpable in the excellent quality of the items served.
Sit back, relax, enjoy a nice glass of wine (the Burgundy white was excellent) while you nibble on some delicious bites and bask in the warm glow of the Noguchi lamps. Definitely worth a visit ~~
